chapter 1View OnlineJournal of a Brave generalchapter 1Day 1 We have arrived at the location of the battle front line but no enemies are here for now. The princesses told all of the generals to order the men to set up battle preparations and tents. I myself am itching to fight and kill The dark emperor so he calls himself. As we were setting up our tents, some of my men say that there was a dark figure wandering around on the inside of the dark force field. I have never seen it myself, but i do feel it watching us. Right now as I write, I feel it near but i can't see it. I want to see what it is. I fear that we may be attack later tonight but my men and I will take care of it. I was woken up to the sound of a large scram, but nopony else was. I know that it was real because I saw what made the noise and i can feel it screaming at me. For what I saw was the figure of many things, I can’t tell what it was I was seeing but the dark figure was changing it’s shape and size. Even though i had only a few moments of watching it, i can still feel it’s evil presence in me. Many hours have passed and i can’t get any sleep tonight.i decide that if I can’t sleep, I will take the night watch. I ordered the soldier to call it a day early but he looked at me with surprise for I have not stayed up this late since boot camp. As I watch the field i didn't see the dark being but still feel it near. I fear now that we will be up against some far more worst than Discord himself.
chapter 2View OnlineJournal of a Brave generalchapter 2Day 3 So far I have not seen the being shrouded in shadow that I saw last night but I know that it is still roaming around out there. The princesses are getting ready to send the wonderbolts in to the force field. I hope that they will succeed in their mission. I will give the information to them later, but for now I have to check on the troops to make sure they are training. Some bad news has just been told to me by a messenger. The Wonderbolts we sent in have been killed. The only one who survived was the commander of them Spitfire, but she died due to blood loss from her fatal wounds. We failed to get any information of what we are facing in there and we lost some very skilled soldiers. I know that this will be the bloodiest battle yet for me. It is late in the night and I saw it, this time it is wasn’t screaming or anything, it just sat in the distance of the field. I could almost make out what it was. But I felt it was calling for me. It told me to leave these grounds and never come back in the most sinister demonic voice I have ever heard. The figure itself was an Alicorn with the wings of bats. But who or what can it be I thought to myself, why was it telling me this? I am going to ask the princess if my troops and I can journey into the force field in two days.

We are going to see if we can assassinate the dark king. this is the most life treating mission I have been on and I can not granite I will make it out alive. I hope you and the rest of the family will do fine. I known that the family reunion is coming up, but this will be the first one without me and not the last. chapter 3View OnlineJournal of a Brave generalchapter 3All of the pony soldiers have gathered into a large group. the looks on their faces was the look for blood. Equestria had never had a war in over a thousand years and most of the soldiers where blood turesty. Princess Celestia had walked up in front of the large army ready to give a speech. “Today men is our day to take back the crystal empire” she said in a menacing voice.”today is the day we stop the unicorn king once and for, today is the first day of the great war that is yet to come.” soon all of the troops started to cheer in glory of their princes.” Before we begin, my top general has a few words to say.” She stepped off the stage and gave it to Goldin Spin. “ As you all know, we are outside our enemy’s door step. We have come here today to bring peace and love to this land that has been taking by the dark king and his new wife. We WILL put a stop to the surfing to the ponies of these lands, we WILL end his rule and his life. I ask you all to do your best for I fear that there is more than just soldiers we are facing. From what has been happening to me for the past week is that is a dark being in there that is not sombra but almost as worse. There is a chance that there are dragons he has tamed and controlled. Men I ask for you best skills that you have to offer. Not all of us will make it back to our friends and family, for I myself have just send a letter to my wife saying that i will not make it back alive. just because I won’t does not mean you will. I known that most of you will go home with happiness and a smile on your faces. I known that you will teach you children and grandchildren the dangers you have faced and how you overcame them. So in the name of the Princesses’ mothers names, do your best for all of Equestria and the rest of the world.” All of the soldiers cheered and whistled at the speech that their head general give out. All of the men started to put on their gear and made ready for the upcoming battle that is ahead of them. “Are all of you ready, this will be the only time we will enter.” The solar Princess said. “ I am ready as I will ever be” Shining armor said to her.”it’s time I take back my throne for these lands.” “As for me two” Cadence replied. “I have never been in a fight for a long time, but I am sure I can do my best dear sister” Luna said. “Then let us begin at once” Goldin Spin shouted Soon the Princesses used their magic to open the force field and all of the troops had entered the Crystal empire. Author's Note I hope you guys are liking this so far there is more to come on the way. after i am done with this story i will work on the main story and give you guys some information on what is happening so far. As you are aware that twilight has done something in the beginning. Why, you may ask I can not say yet. Tell me i am doing so far, my non brony friend is helping me with this and i will give him credit where credit is due.
chapter 5View OnlineJournal of a Brave generalchapter 5Day 12 We had just ran out of food and are still stuck on these tunnels below the place. Our plan of a sneak attack are not going as planned. The only things to eat are the rodents down here, but all of us are vegetarians and will not eat meat. All we can do is suck it up and carry on. It has been two hours since we were lost. More and more pathways keep happening and traps are everywhere, we have already lost over half that we had due to those things. My soldiers are now giving up this mission and what to just go home, there is no moral of any in them, I can say the same for myself. We have gone days without food, water, or sleep. It will not be long until we start to die one by one due to lack of medicine. Most of the unicorns we had are died due a new sickness, for some strange reason none of the other have any at all and only the wisest unicorn such as myself are healthy. This leads me to something about the unicorns dying.
chapter 6View OnlineJournal of a Brave generalchapter 6Day 15 I have lost all of my troops. That ‘thing’ just took them, I feel that I have not been a good leader. I sit by myself thinking about my wife and family. Two days ago was the family reunion. That day was the day my son was coming back from elite boot camp. I always want to see him when he came back after 10 years. I miss him so much right now. I am now at my end. I have gone too long without any sign of life or chance. Everywhere I turn I see flashes of my family being torched and sadden. All I want to do now is go back home and retire from the army. Tell my family I love them with all my heart and soul. Just outside of it is an army, a massive bloodthirsty army, all of the soldiers were setting up their tents and sharpening their battle gear. The leaders of the army were the princesses of Equestria Celestia The Goddess Of The Sun, Luna The Goddess of The Moon, Cadence, and the captain of the royal guards, Shining Armor. “It has been over a thousand years since the last time I was here.” Celestia said facing the force field. “Why have you done this Twilight?” As she turned to look at her massive army, she began walking towards her generals. Her main general, Goldin Spin had just finished writing in his journal for the day. “General Goldin Spin, please tell me how our troops are doing.” She ordered the strong Unicorn Stallion. “Yes your highness. As you can see all of my troops are here are eager to fight, we are setting up all of the catapults and rams for the attack on the castle. I myself want the head of that dark fool. Our scouts say that there's no way to get in the field. Your highness how do you feel we should get in?” “Luna and I will use our magic to open the force field as we do, you and the rest of the men will rush in and kill all that stands in your way, do I make myself clear general.” “Yes your highness.” Soon the princess flew back to her sister and Candace. Goldin Spin returned to his tent and started to relax until future orders.
chapter 4View OnlineJournal of a Brave generalchapter 4Day 7 It has been two days since we have attacked the empire. When we stormed in on the fortress, we had over one million troops, I was given one hundred-thousand. Now I am down to only five-hundred. Out on the battlefield is a total nightmare, the enemy has been able to bring back dead gods, they were controlling the god of dragons, Naor . After we saw, my soldiers and I ran as fast as we could to the place of the emperor. I have not seen as much death in my life as have in the last few days. My men and I are trapped in the caves below the battlegrounds. None of us can sleep due to the horrors we saw. We have seen many things in our lives, but nothing close to this. Every time we manage to fall asleep we awake from the nightmares having to re watch the deaths of ourselves. Our moral is low and the enemy is on the prowl searching for us. I pray to everything divine and holy to save us, for we may not live to see the next day. I saw it again, this time I saw it up close, I felt it’s dark presence. I succumbed to fear I could not move or take my eyes away from the beast, as it began to walk towards me it spoke in its evil tongue. “I told you to leave this place and you did not take my advice. Now you will have to face the consequences. You and your “army” will fall and have to watch your families be enslaved by me.” After that it vanished. I could once again move, but my heart was still pounding. I doubled check to see if my troops were okay. Thankfully, none of them have been killed or gone missing. I just was informed by one of them that are rations are low.
