Armor, Drills, and a Golden Heart

As Sparkling Blade watched her cousin walk off with the rest of the group of cadets, she felt the need to go see a certain somepony. SHe turned and went up a staircase in the fairly large airship, this would serve as a school for the next 12 weeks. Sparkling heard blade walk up next to her, he looked at her, and whimpered.

“Yeah, yeah i know, it’s the third time today, he, he just makes everything feel so right” She told her dog quietly. She was walking down a hallway, only to be stopped by somepony.

“Where do you think you’re going?” He questioned.

“To see Bronze Star, what else do you think i’d be doing?” She snapped back. She turned around to see Platinum Shield, the most annoying private ‘first class’ ever to step hoof into the solar guard ranks.

“I seriously can’t see how you can love someone from the opposing force” He stated “It’s the equivalent to treason to me.” He added. Sparkling Blade rammed him against the wall.

“You Son of a Bitch!” She screamed. She did have authority over him, she was a Sergeant Major after all. “Mouth off to me again and i SWEAR to the sisters that i will rip your throat out!” She hissed at him. SHe let go of him, and trotted off to her Special Someponies office.

Sparkling Blade knocked on Bronze Star’s office door.

“Enter” He responded to the knock, he did sound very equestrian, but he was fully Germaren. She walked into his office, closing the door behind her.

“Hey” She started distractedly. he looked up from his paperwork and sighed.

“A little stressed are we?” He asked, walking up to her. She nodded. He wrapped a wing around her body, she was in her instructor uniform.

“Do you want to just go back to my dorm, relax a bit” He asked, giving her a little wink. She rested her head on his shoulder.

“Yeah” She responded, he knew the best ways to calm her down… she didn’t mind most of them, and she was happy with him. Blade was waiting outside his office, and he barked when he saw the two walking towards his dorm. He started following them. Once at the door to his dorm, Sparkling Blade told her dog to stay put. before the two walked in. Sparkling Blade sat by the foot of the bed. She saw Bronze Star close the door, He sat next to her for a few seconds. He kissed her lightly, yet slowly. He stayed there for a few seconds, before pulling away. He saw her go to rest her head on his shoulder. He sighed and ran a hoof through her dark blue and gold mane.

“I’m still surprised your father didn’t make you dye the gold tips blue.

“Oh, he made me try, it just turned them a neon green for some odd reason” She told him quietly. They both laughed, She felt him lay her down. He kissed her again.

“mmm, Babe, i, i don’t want to ruin my uniform, it would be a bad look for me” She told him quietly trying to sit up. She felt him over her though.

“beruhigen meine Schätzchen” he whispered into her ear. He saw her start to calm down

“Did you seriously just call me your ‘little treasure’?” She asked quietly.

“Mmm hmm” He hummed in response. She felt him start at her uniform.

“Mmm, Babe. nothing too crazy, please” She asked him. He nodded

“i know” He told her, unbuttoning her uniform, he started to rub her tummy lightly. She giggled, relaxing even more.

“That’s the Sparkling Blade i know” He whispered, laying next to her, and stroking her sides. She snuggled into the covers on his bed.

“Ist mein Schätzchen wieder besser” He asked in Germare. Sparkling Blade nodded, she was in fact feeling better. He nuzzled her, looking at the clock, knowing it was best if they actually were on time to the opening speeches and ceremonies, started to button up Sparkling’s Uniform again. She moaned slightly, a bit disappointed the tummy rubs had ended.

“We’ll continue later, i promise” He told her quietly. He kissed her cheek, and they both got up and straightened themselves out. He kissed her one more time, on the lips, and with that, the two left for the mess hall, nuzzling and kissing each other for most of the journey down there.
