April pt1

Twilight and I arrived at Sweet Apple Acres. I'm not one for apples. I like apple pie and apple juice but I don't like apples as a fruit. I tried apple cider before but I couldn't taste it because my tongue felt like pins and needles. An orange pony came over to us. He blonde mane as covered by her hat and her flank was adorned with three apples.

"Why howdy Twilight! Ah see you've got yourself a little friend here!"

"Hi Applejack! I'm sure you remember Rainbow Pastel from the party the other day." Twilight introduced me cheerfully.

"Oh hi'yall Rainbow!" Applejack greeted.

"Oh um hi!" I said with a hoof out to shake and my mane in my face. She shook my hoof with mighty strength.

"Have ya tried buckin' apples before?" Applejack asked.

"Um...I don't think so but I'm willing to try something new." I said.

"Okay I've got to go run some errands." Twilight said, "You two have fun now!"

She left us both alone and Applejack led me to the orchards. She set some baskets unter a couple of trees and bucked one of them with her hind legs. Every apple fell off the tree and landed perfectly into the basket. She gestured me to the other tree. I used all the strength I had and hit the tree hard. Most of the apples fell.

"Woowee, Rainbow! I must say fer somepony with no experience with bucking apples, yer pretty good!"

"Wow! Really?" I asked. "I'm pretty weak for a pony my size. I quit martial arts after a month and I buck furniture when I get angry."

"Well practice makes perfect! Whenever ya feel like it, ya can come down here and help me around the farm. The more ponies to help the faster we get more apples. Applebuckin' season's comin' up anyway!" Applejack said.
