It's a Silly Filly Kind of Story

Soooooooooooooooooooo... HELLO!  I am Pinkie Pie, the bestest party pony around.  As you can see, it's my turn to continue the story from where we left off!  But... I'm going to be mean and take us back a little bit!  Tee-hee!  It'll all make sense once I begin.  Because you guys are probably wondering, Why did Rainbow Dash fly in to Twilight's house like that!? Welllllllll... if you let me explain I'll tell ya!  Oo this is going to be SO much fun!  I have my chapter all planned out and everything!  We'll play games, and eat cake, and... Wait... this isn't a party... it's a story...  Whoops!  Oh well, I guess I'll wing it like every other pony does!  Don't worry, we'll still have fun, through words and such...  But anyways, let's begin!

It was a cold winter's night, not a star was in sight.  And the north wind came howling down the line-  Oh wait, those are song lyrics!  Mhm, let me start over.

It was the month of June, every school pony was out of school and celebrating for three months of summer.  I was celebrating with them, I'd never miss out on a celebration!  There was cake, games, laughter, and so much fun!

I looked at the time and realized it was time to get the big cake.  I made it earlier today for the kids.  Chocolate cake filled with strawberries, covered with vanilla icing.  Mmm!  It looked delicious!  Of course I hadn't tasted it yet, I wanted to save as much of it as possible for the kids.  It was their celebration, not mine!  And with my parties, I always make sure the guest (or guests) or honor has the best time as possible!  I never had broken that policy, and I don't plan on it either.

After I scooted passed Apple Bloom and Scootaloo I finally made it into Sugar Cube Corner.  When I opened the doors the scent of cupcakes filled my nostrils.  It was the best part about the whole bakery.  I walked in and saw it, my cake, just where I left it before.  Not touched or played with.  The entire cake ended being about six feet tall and 36 inches in diameter.  I stared in its glory for about a minute until I broke out of the daze.  I just realized, HOW AM I GOING TO LIFT THIS THING!?  After a minute of thinking I finally came up with something,

"I'll get Twilight to help me!"

I then left the bakery and headed over toward the library.  While walking I noticed most of the ponies were just waking up, then again it was only 8:45 in the morning.  But I knew Twilight would be up, she always wakes up at exactly eight o'clock.

I was Halfway to Twilight's when I passed Rarity's boutique.  I was going to pop in and say hi when I heard a big BOOM!  And then I heard a scream coming from what I think was Spike.  "I'll just leave them alone..." I said to myself and continued to walk.

I was almost at Twilight's house.  I could see it in my vision, when all of the sudden a ray of rainbow came out of no where in my peripheral vision and toppled me over.  My vision was messed up for a few seconds. Once I could see straight I saw Rainbow Dash on top of me, breathing heavily.

"Pinkie!" she then took a breath, "I need... your... help!"  She could barley talk, it seemed like she just flew a marathon.

"Sure Rainbow Dash!  What'cha need?"

She started to regain her normal breathing pattern, "I need for you to tell me my future, I think something is wrong."

"Well then come into Madame Pinkie's tent and let's take a look!"

We stepped into my tent.  Everything was untouched, the last time I used this tent was a few months ago when Twilight wanted to see her future.  So everything was also a little dusty.  I grabbed my fortune teller's hat, where it always was, and put it on.  The crystal ball still in place so I was ready to begin.

"Look into my crystal ball Rainbow Dash... and ask it, what you must need to know!"  She looked a bit confused and didn't say anything.  I looked at her and she finally figured out what to do.

"Oh, uhm... well... uhm...  I uhm, think this guy likes me- MY FRIEND!  And I... uhm... just wanted to know if my friend is going to end up being with him, y'know?"  She seemed nervous when asking that question, but then again it's nerve wrecking to watch your future before your very eyes.

An image started to form in the crystal ball.  The clouds in the crystal ball started to spiral until it opened and viewed a scene.  It was Rainbow Dash, and she was looking a fair looking stallion who I can't seem to name.  The Rainbow Dash in the ball smiled at the stallion and then kissed him.  The actual Rainbow Dash gasped at what she had just seen.  The scene in the ball then began to fade and go away.  The clouds spiraled again and then dispersed, leaving nothing.

"WHAT!?  NO!  It can't just leave me like that!  Pinkie-"

"It's Madame Pinkie."

"Madame Pinkie, make your ball tell me more!  Please"

"I'm sorry, all showings of the future are final, you cannot go back."

"But Pinkie!"

"MADAME Pinkie!"

"You know what?  Whatever, I'll figure this out on my own!  Oh wait!  I'll go see Twilight!  Yeah, she'll be able to help!"  Rainbow Dash began to head for the opening.  "Bye Madame Pinkie!  And thanks... for nothing."  She then zoomed away in a flash.  I then stopped to think and analyze what I just saw.  Then it clicked!

"Rainbow Dash's "friend"... is RAINBOW DASH!  RAINBOW DASH IS IN LOVE!"
