I love him, and he loves me. I had to keep asking myself though, does the universe want us together? All these signs are saying something else. But I can't give up. He is apart of me, and I am apart of him.

Just then he walked through the door. As he stared into my eyes he started to tear up. "What's wrong?" I was concerned. He never cried. The last time he did was when his father passed away.

"It's just," he said, "I'm so happy with you. And I want to spend the rest of my life with you. But I must leave. My calling is somewhere else."

When he spoke those words, all I could hear was my heart drop and break into millions of pieces. I felt like a part of me just died. All I wanted to do was run away and cry for days on end, but no. I must stay strong, for him. I could tell this was hard enough on him. But what he didn't know, is that whatever he was feeling, I was feeling too, but only 20 times worse.
