It's a Silly Filly Kind of Story
Chapter One - Twilight Sparkle
Previous ChapterNext ChapterI woke up to a blazing sun in my eye. Burning my pupils, I quickly closed them, unable to bare the pain. After what I think was a minute I opened my eyes back up, slowly. My pupils still burned, but not as bad.
Usually the sun doesn't shine this bright, I guess Rainbow Dash is having a good day so far. I turned my head to my clock on the wall. The little hand was on eight and the big hand was on the third dash. Three minutes, I kept my eyes shut for three minutes. I always wake up at exactly eight o'clock to start my day. Today was different though, I got an extra three minutes of sleep! Tee-hee!
"Spiiiiiiike!" I called out. Spike always woke up 35 minutes before me. He always likes to start on his chores early, which I was okay with. Usually I would wake up to him making breakfast, but I didn't smell anything but the sap from the trees.
"SPIKE!" I screamed again. No response.
Where could he be? I turned to my desk and saw a little note on it. On the cover it read, To Twilight. I uses my magic to bring it to me so I could stay in bed, just for a few more minutes, the sheet were so soft it was like I was on a cloud. I opened the letter, which had a note from Spike in it, which read:
Dear Twilight,
I am sorry for not being there to wake you up. Rarity had a cry for help, and you know how she is. She'll never keep quiet until someone helps her. And for ten minutes straight, all you could hear was;
SPIIIIIIIIKKKEEEYYYYY WIIIIKKKKEEEYYYY!!! I NEED YOUR HELLLLPPPPP!!!!
I don't know how she does it! Anyways, I put your breakfast in the fridge. I should be back around 8:20, if not longer. Again, sorry! I wish I could be there, I really do! Be safe on your trip today!
Love,
Your Faithful Assistant, Spike
"Figures, hee hee." I said to myself. We all knew that Spike had a thing for Rarity, it's just that he didn't know we knew. It's kind of funny actually, like some 80's sitcom show. I looked at the note again and then threw it out. I walked to the fridge and opened it. My eyes met with what looked like the most delicious meal in the world. I pushed the tub of ice cream to the side so I could get a better grip of my delectable meal.
As I walked over to the oven I started to take the plastic wrap off of my whole wheat blueberry pancakes and oatmeal. I set the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, just enough to heat it up, but not too much. I set the timer for exactly seven minutes as I started to get ready for the day ahead.
Seven minutes passed as I put together my books. I was ready to leave for Canterlot to meet with the princess. She has a new spell she wants me to test before she releases any information about. I was excited, I have always wanted to be an official spell tester! Oo! I'm so excited!
I took my breakfast out of the oven and set it on the table. I cut my first piece of a pancake and popped it into my mouth. Mhm! Spike knew exactly how I liked my pancakes. He'd always make sure that the blueberries popped in my mouth, so I get a little gush of blueberry juice.
As I was halfway done with my breakfast I heard a faint scream from outside. Thinking it was nothing I kept eating, just to realize that the scream was getting louder by the second. After a few seconds I could make out what the pony was saying,
"TWIILLIIGGHHHTTTT!!!"
I got up, wondering who it could be. I opened up my window to check out the scene when suddenly I see Rainbow Dash bolting toward me. Scared, all I could do was back away as Rainbow Dash zipped through my window and into my books.
"Rainbow!" I said.
"Twilight, you gotta help me! Something terrible is going to happen to me!" she started to hyperventilate. What was going to happen!?
"Rainbow, calm down, okay?" he breathing began to return at a normal pace. "Good, now tell me what's going to happen."
"Twilight, I'm falling in LOVE!"
