Skyrim Equestia: Bloody Paws

Preface

"The night is when the devil comes out to play"

"Did y-you h-here that.." Studdered my mother, backing behind the large stallion.

"Yes" Came the reply from my father. The bulf stallion was not easy to scare, but he wasn't ingredient. He knew what that sound was, and what it belonged to. Being in the Imperial legion for thirteen years and going all around the land of Equestria you pickup on these kind of things. And the story's you here could scare to living piss out of any solder.

*Screeeeeeh* Came the sound again. Then. "Thud!"

Both pony's transferred there gaze to the ceiling. The house was dark. All the candles had ministerily gone out only moments before. And the only sound was the rain from outside and the deafening screeeech on the side of the house. But now the beast was on the roof!

Father fixed his gaze not on the ceiling, but to the door. Being in battle you learn to predict you enemy's movements. This beast was trying to out smart them. Trying to make them believe that it was on the roof, but in realty it was waiting at the door...

"Stardust my dear" He spoke comely, "go up stairs and check on our baby. Make sure that he his safe and then hide him".

Mother didn't need the consider this, my safety was her top priory.

Without hesitation mother glaouped upstairs and into my room.

Father pulled open a nearby dower with is magic. He pulled out a short military issued sword. Not once taking his eyes off the door.

"Talos, god of the ponykind. Protect my family" My father prayed under his breath. He levitated his sword close to his body, and then positioned himself to block the stairs leading up to his wife and son from anything that would try and harm them.

"..."

Silence.

"..."

Only the noise from his breath and the rain from outside filled the room.

"..."

He griped his sword tighter in his magic.

"..."

Only one thought was going throw his head. Must protect my famliy, at all cost!

"... SMASH!!!!"

The door shattered to pieces. The beast was now inside.
