Chapter 1: Bar

"We drink to our youth"

The Greyditch Tavern was never really a busily place. I had been here a time or two before, but only on pleaser trips. Drinking clears the mind, or was it clouds the mind? oh well I can't remember. Its one of the two.

Opening the door to the Tavern I took in my surroundings: There was a huge fire pit was placed in the middle of the room. On both sides of the establishment there where two long tables full of pony's having a drink and sharing story's after a long days work. Greyditch was a farming town so most of the consumers where farmers, but I spotted a few Imperial solders in the croud as well. Probably from the fort down the rode I thought.

Turning my head to the left I spotted the mare I wanted to talk to.

Trotting to the bar counter I took a seat. The bar mare, Miss. Sundrop, turned to face me, smiling.

"Well look'a here" She spoke wiping away a strand of her blue mane out of her face. "what brings you around here Greyhoof?".

"What, do I have to a resin to see the most beautiful mare in town?" I replied with a wink.

What I said was true. Greyditch didn't have many mares. It was mostly a solder town, an outpost at best. And out of all the pickings Miss. Sundrop was by far the best looking. To bad shes marred

She waved her hoof, blushing.

"Oh you" She smiled. Then leaned foreword and whispered. "you know my husbanded won't be back from the war front in another month. You and I could have some fun when ever you wanted" She licked the tip of my ear.

Blushing I gently pushed her back. Shocking my head I chucked.

"Sorry but I can't do that. Wouldn't be right".

She founded.

"Oh, pleassssssse" She begged giving me the puppy dog eyes.

By the gods why dose she have to be soooooooo hot!  I was very temped to take her up on that offer, but sighing and biting my lip I replied.

"No. Your my friend and so is Jackdog. I could never betray him. And besides I won't be staying for long, I have business to take care of".
