Light Runner

"Thank god, you're finally moving!"

I hear a voice, but can't tell, who or from where it comes. Wait, I've never heard that voice before ...

"W-where am I?" My head hurts ...

"You're safe in my home. Don't worry." What happened ...

"What day is today?" I try to move but fail miserably. "It's Thursday. You were knocked out for an entire week."

Wait ... knocked out?

"For a whole ... week?" I try to open my eyes, everything is blurry. "Yes. I found you in the forest nearby. You should eat and drink something."

"Good idea ..." I slowly see everything clear. "What the hay?!"

Everything looks so strange here. I look slowly to the stallion, who was talking to me ... what is that?!

"W-what are you?! Stay away from me!" I scream in surprise, clearly scared. "Calm down, I'm not your enemy. I repeat, I'm NOT your enemy. I saved you last Thursday. You can be happy that I found you out there. Please calm down ..."

He or she, or whatever that monster is, doesn't seem too dangerous.

I slowly start to calm down. "You're not going to hurt me?"

"No. I cared for the injuries on your hooves. Cleaned the blood from your fur too. What the fuck happened to you?" Blood ... now I remember. It was close to midnight, on a Wednesday ... Thunder and I at the train station ... I punched Thunder on the railway track, before I heard a loud noise ... a train ... How did I survive? Wait, he said he found me at the forest. There is no forest near that train station ...

"Where ... where is Thunder?" I look to *it*. "Thunder? Who are you talking about?"

"Was I alone?" *It* nods. "Yes. I know that you're surprised now. After all, you would normally not exist here."

What? This is just getting more and more confusing.

"Wait ... not exist here ... do you mean, that I'm in a completely different world?" *It* rubs his head. "Actually, maybe even in a completely different dimension."

"That must be the reason, why everything here looks so ... strange." I say to myself. "Hey, don't worry ... uhm ..."

"Light. Light Runner is my name. And you are?" *It* smiles a little. "Alex."

Strange name. What does an Alex mean?

"Hey, don't worry, Light." Nevermind that thing, I need to go back!

"Alex, I have to go back to Equestria! I need to stop some crazy ponies ... I need to save Sky Love!" *It* looks confused. "Sky Love? Another pony?"

"Yes. The best pony in all of Equestria. I have to go back. Can you help me?" Say yes, say yes, say yes ...

"Unfortunately, I don't even know how you got here at all. Feels like some FanFic right now. But of course I will try my best to help you. I have to go now though. I need to get to work." These things go to work too?

"Can I come with you?" Alex shakes his head. "Most people would be scared of a cartoon pony, so it's not a good idea. You'd better stay here, because here you are safe. I really have to go now, please stay. I'll answer every question when I come back, okay?"

"S-sure." Alex smiles. "There's food and something to drink on the table. That should be enough before I come back. See you later, Light ... and please ... trust me, stay here. You can look outside the window, but don't go out of the house."

I don't know why, but I have the feeling, that I can trust Alex. Alex sounds also male to me. I guess Alex is a he for now.

He leaves the room then. I notice a window behind me. I slowly standing up and look outside of the window. I see him walking to an big object. Is that something like a carriage?

He opens a door from it and walks inside the carriage-thing. He closes the door then, and then that thing start to move backwards. It moves ... by its own!

"What is that? Is there magic ... too?" If I get back to Equestria, I should tell Twilight about that thing. A magical carriage-thing. I'll ask Alex later what it is called here.

I turn back to the food that he putted on a table. There are a few apples, some salad, and water to drink. At least they eat the same things that we do. And speaking the same language. And there's a bed, and a table ... there are differences here, but they also have the same things as we have.

I take one of the apples and start to bite in it. It tastes fine, but I like the apples from Equestria more.

I drink some of the water and look back to his bed. Then I look to the door. "Well, I should start looking around here. Maybe I'll find a way back."

I slowly start to walk. It feels weird, which is probably, because I was knocked out for a whole week. I take a look around. A few things here are like they would be in Equestria. Other things are new, things that I've never saw before. I walk out of the room. There's a corridor with some pictures hanging on the walls. I notice Alex with other things that look like the same species. They all look like they're walking with their hind legs. They also have claws, but not sharp ones like dragons. No hooves either. I walk into the next room. "This looks like the bathroom."

There is a toilet, a bathtub, some towels. There are a few unknown things, too. Like that magazine here ... something with *Play* stands on the top. A roll of toilet paper. A trash can. I leave the bathroom and walk to the last room on the floor. A small room. Only magazines lie in here. "Does that thing have an obsession for magazines and books. Mayby he is like Princess Twilight?"

I see the stairs and go downstairs. More rooms. The first room looks like a kitchen. But like in every other room, there are a few things that I've never have seen before. The other rooms just look strange to me. A house with so much strange stuff that I never knew existed before. In one room, there was a magical machine, that reminds me of a cinema ... just for your home. What magic is that?

Well, that was all the rooms in Alex' house, and it only took me 30 minutes to go through them. Now I'm bored, and I don't know when he'll comes back.

So I just sit down on the couch, watching the movies for hours. I often hear a laughing, is there some kind of comedy or something like that?

"How late is it now?" I look to a clock on the wall. It shows that it is 2 PM already. "Wow, I watched those things for that long?"

I walk back to his bed. I lie down on it, waiting for Alex to come back finally. I try to remember if there was something else that happened, before the train came and I ... disappeared. But I can't remember anything special. After thinking for a long time, I hear somepony coming. Alex finally walks inside. "There you are. Thanks for not running away."

"Uhm ... why are you not scared of me?" He chuckles. "Why should I be scared of you?"

"Because I'm a complete different species?" He nods. "Sure you are."

"So why you are not afraid from me?" He rubs his head unsure. "I kinda know about your species. There is a ... TV show about your world ... Equestria."

"What is a TV show?" I look confused. "If you may looked around my house, you might have seen it already. I forgot to turn the TV off before I left for work this morning."

"Do you mean the magical thing, that plays movies?" He looks. "Magical thing? ... Oh, I understand. Yeah, that's a TV. TV stands for television."

"Never heard about that." He smiles to me. "I guessed that already. Just to ask ... do you have ponies in your world, that are called by the names Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Flutt-"

"The elements of harmony? Of course, everypony knows them. They've saved us more then once!" He smiles more. "And Twilight is a princess, right?"

"Yep." He sighs happily. "Well, I guess then, that everything that happened in the show has really happened in your world."

"So your species is spying on us?" He frowns a little. "I don't think so, but it is amazing, that the show and reality are so close."

"So you know all about us from ... that show?" He nods. "Yep ... that's why I was actually more excited than scared when I found you, haha."

"Thanky for saving me. I think I can really trust you." I smile a little back. "Of course you can ... wait, my cell phone is ringing."

All of a sudden, I hear music and Alex pulls out a strange thing. He puts it on his ear ... at least, I think that it's his ear.

"Hello? Oh, hello, Mister Mason. Yeah, I don't know where Jack was today. Maybe he was sick. No, I didn't meet him since Wednesday. Yes, I tried to contact him, but he didn't answered the call ... I'll try it tomorrow again. Yes, goodbye." I look confused again. "What is that thing?"

"My cell phone? You can talk with everyone who has one, anywhere in the world." I look surprised. "All these things you have ... what kind of magic makes them work?"

"Huh? Oh no, we don't have magic here. We use electricity." What?!

"You use lightnings to-" But he stops me mid-sentence. "No. Not lightnings. Electricity. Well, to make it more understandable for you, it's kind of like the magic you use for a few things ... just with the difference that it is not magic - it's natural."

"Sounds strange. But it looks like it works. What do you call your carriage?" He looks confused. "Carriage? Oh, I understand, we call it a car."

"You have a lot of strange words." I notice his eyes rolling. "Well, I guess you and I speaking with a different English."

"What the hay is English? Do you mean Equestrian?" He sighs. "I ... never mind. So, have you found an idea for how you can get back?"

"To Equestria? No, unfortunately not ..." He nods. "Well, you can stay with me until we find a way for you, okay?"

"That would be great ... uhm, can I use the toilet?" He chuckles. "Sure."

I walk to the bathroom, and sit down on the toilet. After I finished my *work*, I walk back to Alex. "Just out of curiosity, how do you ... uhm ... go to the toilet, when you don't have anything there?" He seems rather interested on my private part, hm?

"Oh no, we have something there. Do you ... have the same things?" Blushing, I lift my left hind hoof to show him my private part. How couldn't he noticed it, if he cared for me so long?

"I guess so, but we wear clothes to hide it. Why do some ponies wear clothes?" I shrug. "It's just so they look better. We don't hide our private parts. By the way, if I'm really gone for one week, and time passes in the same way ... the other ponies are probably going to start to worry where I am."

"Yeah, but so long as we don't know how to take you back there, we can't do anything. And you can't go out of the house, everybody would-" I look again confused. "Everybody? What is everybody?"

"I guess in your language, that's the word for everypony." I understand.

"Ah, make sense, haha." I chuckle a little. "Yeah, but you still can't go out."

"Why? I'm not going to hurt anypony." He nods. "I know, but they could hurt you. You are from a species that doesn't exist in our world ... they would try to catch you, preform experiments on you ... I don't know. Just promise me that you're not going to leave, so long as I don't allow it, okay?"

"I promise." I salute to show him that I mean it. We keept talking for a long time. He talked about this world, and I talked about my world. I now understand more about some things here and he ... yes, Alex is a he ... knows more about us now. "I hope Sky Love is okay, Light."

"Yes, I hope so too. I think it's getting late, we should sleep now." I stand up. "You can sleep on my bed. It's big enough for both of us."

"If you don't have a problem with it, then sure." Alex takes some of his clothes off, but not all of them. Then he lies down on his bed and I lie myself down next to him. "Uhm ... what is touching my back?"

"My hoof." He sighs happily. "Good."

"My fifth hoof." I hear a gulp from him. "Just kidding, haha!"

"Good night, Light ..." I closing my eyes. "Night, Alex."

At least I can sleep normally and don't get knocked out this time.
