introView OnlineAmnesia: Daniel's adventure in EquestriaintroDaniel's vision slowly started coming back. His head pounded, and his eyes were sore. He remembered the voices, and a single question came to mind. Where was he? Agrippa's friend had brought him back to life, but he recalled him saying that he wouldn't be on Earth when he awoke. If he wasn't on Earth than where was he? Daniel opened his eye's, and saw that he was lying in a field. Everything was bright, and pure colored, and the clouds in the sky looked puffier than usuall. Other than that the scenery looked extremely like Earth. Was he still on Earth? Daniel had to find out. Daniel down at his own body to see if he was hurt in any way. He did just have an incounter with the shadow, so he may have wounds. He moved his head down slowly, afraid of what he might see. Images of the bodies of the earlier victims of the shadow danced around in Daniel's head. It frightened him to think that he came face-to-face with the same monster that did all those things. His head yanked back, and he gasped when he saw that instead of a human body, he had the body of a pony! He was brown, and he had a mark on him of a lantern. Daniel started to breath in quick, sharp breaths. His pupils shrunk as he looked around causiously. Once his breathing was back to normal he looked back down to examine himself. His short brown fur waved in the wind, as Daniel inspected himself for wounds. He found none. Objective number one, 'check for wounds' finished, start objective two, 'find out where the hell I am!' Daniel struggled to stand. He was lying on his side, so he rolled onto his belly. He was in the same position that a lying dog would be in. Why did it feel so natural?! As a human it should feel weird to be in that position, but it felt comfortable! He shrugged it off as being a side affect of being turned into a pony. Daniel started to rise. His legs wobbled, as he got onto all fours. He stood in silence as he tried to steady himself. He was too focused on trying to stand normaly for a pony that he didn't see the butterscotch colored mare peek out from behind a tree, and run away to get her friends. ________________________________________________________________________________________________ Fluttershy was enjoying her afternoon with her friends. They had a picnic, and went flower picking in the woods. Well most of them did, Rainbow Dash thought it was a 'babyish' thing to do, and fell asleep on the branch of a nearby tree. Fluttershy went ahead of the group, (something she rarely does) to a field nearby, it had the most beautyful flowers. 'just around this tree' She thought. Before walking past a tree. She looked into the colorful field. Flowers of all kind spread out in one location! She was quickly brought out of her peace when she heard a grunt. She 'eeped' and hid behind the the tree she past earlier. She peeked out, and scanned the area. She stopped when she saw a light brown colored Earth-pony, with a cutie mark of a lantern, struggling to stand. She gasped, and ran to get her friends. That stallion was struggling to stand he might be hurt! She would have aproached him herself, and helped him, but she was too scared. She NEEDED her friends to be there with her! She found the group of friends, and got their attention. "Fluttershy, what is it gurl?" Applejack asked turning to the panicy looking, butterscotch mare. "Yeah, what has you so worried, Fluttershy?" A tomboyish voice said from the branch of a tree a couple yards away from the group. Apparently Rainbow was woken up by the commotion. "I saw a stallion in the field over there, he looked hurt" She said quietly, but quickly. The six ponies looked at each other until Twilight spoke up. "Well, let's go help him!" She said. The ponies nodded, and set off to the field. They trudged through the woods until getting to the edge of the treeline. On the other side was a small field completely covered in colorful flowers. "Come on, the poor guy is over here" Fluttershy said to the five other ponies, who were staring at the colors of the flowers in the field. _________________________________________________________________________________________________ Daniel finaly got into a stance similar to what horses stood like back on Earth. It felt comfortable, was that a signal that he was standing the way he should be? Probably! He took a step forward, then another. It was actualy easy, and felt natural, instead of strange. Now that Daniel was standing tall he could see that the field that he was standing in was very colorful, and was also pretty small. The sun was high in the sky, it looked to be about noon. The scenery was quite beautyful. His admiration of nature was interupped by the rustling of bushes. Daniel's instinct kicked in, and he bolted off in the diferent direction. "NO! We just want to help you!" A voice yelled from behind him, but he didn't listen. Last time someone wanted to 'help' him, he just murdered good people, thinking that they were criminals. Alexander got what was coming to him! That alien bastard! Daniel suddenly heard the beat of wings behind him. Slowly getting closer, and closer to him. Soon he felt hooves rap around his tail, and pull. The beat of wings had stopped, and whoever it was was on the ground now, and was pulling him back, using his tail. Daniel gave up, and stopped running, they had got him. Daniel clenched his eyes closed, waiting for pain. After all of the adventure in the castle, he had still not gotten used to even minor pain. Daniel heard more hooves clopping on the ground, coming closer to Daniel, and the pony who captured him. Daniel started shaking furiously. Until he heard a soft voice. "It's okay, we're not going to hurt you" It said. Daniel slowly opened his eyes to see he was surrounded by other ponies. He looked around his pupils were shrunk, and he was chattering his teeth. His hearing started to go away, replaced by a very high pitched sound. He then collapsed on to the ground.
Daniel's awakening/and meet the mane 6View OnlineAmnesia: Daniel's adventure in EquestriaDaniel's awakening/and meet the mane 6The faceless creture walked through the woods, blood dripping out of the open wound. Rusty metal creaked every time it took a step, and it's growls, and moans echoed through the forest. _-_-_ Daring do smiled, it was nice having other ponies write stories about her adventures. Most ponies thought Daring do was a fictional character, but all of the things in the books, she, at one point in her life, had actually done. She was trotting along a trail in the Everfree Forest, humming quietly. She trotted down this trail every morning, from her treehouse in the center of the forest, all the way to the edge of the forest, around ponyville. Most ponies were afraid of the forest, but Daring do wasn't. Ponies were afraid of the forest because it wasn't normal, but to Daring do, it was her home. When Daring first moved into the Everfree to start being an adventurer, she was afraid, but she would never admit it in one of her books. After a while, she learned that there wasn't a reason to be afraid of Everfree, it was just a little abnormal... And dangerous. Daring's thoughts were interrupted by a loud gurgling moan. She stopped moving, and quickly twisted her head around in all directions. "Who's there?!" She shouted. (BIG FREAKING MISTAKE!) _-_-_ Daniel slowly opened his eyes. He groaned, and put his hoof up to his eye rub the sleepyness out of his eyes. He gasped when he saw that he didn't have a hand. He was about to scream when the memory of the past couple days flushed into his mind. Everything. Brennenburg, Alexander, the gatherers, and the six colorful ponies. Daniel took a look around. He was lying on a bed, in a small room with light shining through the window, the sound of birds chirping, and other animal sounds was higher than usuall. The walls were made of wood, and there was a dark green carpet covering the floor, overall the room seemed very comfortable. Though it was nothing compared to the guest room at Brennenburg. "Oh, He's awake everypony!" A deep southern american accent came from the doorway of the small room that he was in. Slowly, one by one, the six ponies from before trotted into the room. Daniel stared at the colorful ponies. They all looked at each other, and then one of them, the purple one with a horn, trotted up to Daniel. Daniel stared at the purple pony. "Please don't hurt me." He said, his voice cracking. The pony chuckled awkwardly. "Don't worry, none of my friends, or I will ever cause harm to you." She said in a motherly tone. She smiled, and waited for Daniel to say anything. Daniel mouth curved into a small frown, and he cautiously looked at the group of ponies. He turned his head back to the purple unicorn. "I expect you all have names?" His small frown turned into a nervous smile, and he jumped off the bed, and on to all four of his hooves. The mares giggled, and one by one announced their names. "Mah name is AppleJack partner!" The one with the southern american accent said, when Daniel looked over too her. Daniel looked over to the next one over. "My name's Rainbow Dash! The fastest pony in Equestria, try not to faint from fanboyiness!" (is that even a word? Probably not!) Daniel smirked, and said, "Never heard of ya'." Rainbow Dash scoffed, and frowned at Daniel. "you haven't? Seriously!?" She stopped hovering, and she dropped to the ground. Daniel turned to the next pony, and before he could say anything, she started assaulting him with a barage of words. "Hi my name is Pinkie Pie, I work at the bakery in the middle of town, and I live there too. When I was a filly, I lived with my family somewhere around appleossa, I can't remember exactly where. We got bits by mining rocks, and I'm going to throw you the best 'welcome to Ponyville' party you will ever have in your life!" "Ok!" Daniel matched the speed, and volume of her voice. Then he turned to the purple pony. "My name is Twilight Sparkle, I'm the librarian at the library in Ponyville." She said simpley. Daniel smiled, genuinely. "You're a librarian? I worked as a librarian so I could afford college, back when I was young." Daniel said happily. "Aren't you young, still?" AppleJack asked. "Well... Yes, but I'm 29, I got out of college, when I was only 22." Daniel replied, and he turned to the white pony, who had a curly purple mane. "My name's Rarity, and I must say that you'd look great in the color black." She said, admiring Daniel. Daniel laughed nervously. "Uhh... Thanks?" He said uncertainly, and then he looked around. "Wasnt there another one of you?" He asked, remembering a yellow pony, with a pink mane. "Yes, there was..." Twilight said, and she looked around. "Fluttershy, come in here!" She yelled. "N-no Twilight, I'm fine in here" A sweet, kind, and quiet voice came from the room next to the one they were all standing in. "Oh c'mon fluttershy! He's nice... Like you!" Pinkie Pie said quickly. There was a quiet sigh from the next room, and slowly, a pink maned, butterscotch colored, pegasus. "H-hello..." She said quietly. "Hi, my name's Daniel." Daniel said soothingly. "My name is Fluttershy." She said so quiet that it looked like the other ponies didn't hear her, but Daniel did. "What's you're job around here, Fluttershy?" Daniel asked. He heard the five other ponies in the room gasp. "Dude, how'd you hear her name?" Rainbow Dash asked, amazed. The other mares nodded. "My hearing has gotten better since the accident, it's saved my life a few times." Daniel answered. "Oh... Wait, what accident?" Twilight asked, curiously. "It's nothing, I don't want you to be sympathetic towards me." Daniel answered sadly. "Well... Ok...," Twilight answered slowly. "but if you need a friend to talk to just ask one of us." "Ok." Daniel nodded, and smiled. All of the ponies started trotting out of the room, except Twilight, and AppleJack. "Daniel, you should go back to bed. You had a really bad fever when you passed out earlier." Twilight said, and then she left the room. AppleJack waited for Twilight to leave the room to turn to Daniel, and start talking. "Hey parter?" AppleJack asked. "Yes, AppleJack?" said Daniel. "You best be careful around the mares here." AppleJack warned. "Why?" Daniel asked, a little scared. "Because you're one of the two stallions around here who're still single, 'n the other one's mah brother, and he works a too much for any mares to talk to him, so the mares around here will be on you like fleas on a diamond dog." AppleJack said in a whisper. "O-Okay..." Daniel said, staring at AppleJack. "Expecialy Rainbow Dash. She's getting pretty desprate, since her last stallionfriend broke up with her." AppleJack finished, and she walked out of the room. Daniel gulped, and walked out behind her.
Random Chapter NameView OnlineAmnesia: Daniel's adventure in EquestriaRandom Chapter NameWhen Daniel followed AppleJack out of the bedroom he was greeted by several giggles from the group of mares sitting around the tabble in the center of the room. He picked up several words they said. 'Party' and 'suprise'. He could tell what the others were because all of the mares spoke in hushed whispers. Then Pinkie Pie rushed out of the room. "Bye Danny!" She shouted before she galloped out of the door. 'Did she just call me Danny?' Daniel thought. I kinda like the sound of it...' The mares looked at each other like they had a super-secret-devious-plan. Daniel smiled nervously. Twilight broke the silence. "I guess you want to know where you are?" Twilight asked. "I'm in Ponyville, aren't I?" Daniel asked, remembering Pinkie Pie say something about a 'welcome-to-Ponyville-party' "Well yes, you are in Ponyville, but do you want to know where you are exactly?" Said Twilight. "I guess..." Daniel said, shrugging. "You're in Fluttershy's house, right next to the Everfree forest." Twilight stated, they all seemed to chatter their teeth after Twilight had said 'Everfree forest' Daniel remembered the forest. It looked like any other forest. "Why do you fear the Everfree forest?" Daniel asked, his head tilted. "The clouds move all on their own!" They all said at the same time. "The animals take care of themselves" Fluttershy said, looking absolutley horrorfied. "And the plants grow without any ponies taking care of them!" AppleJack finished. Daniel had a puzzled look on his face, then it turned into a grin, which turned into a large smile. He started chuckling, which turned into uncontrolable laughter. He fell onto the ground, and laughed insanely. "Poor guy, he went insane just hearing what happens in the forest..." Rainbow Dash said sadly. "No, no I'm fine." Daniel said inbetween laughs, he wiped away a tear from his eye, using his hoof. He slowly got back on all four of his hooves, and looked at the five mares. "That's actually normal where I come from!" Daniel said, still laughing a little. "What?!" The ponies yelled at the same time. "Where're you from, Daniel?" AppleJack asked, her head tilted. The other four mares awaited Daniel to speak. "Paris, France." Daniel said, "My family didn't come from France, but I lived there." He finished. "Don't you mean Prance, not France?" Twilight asked. Daniel stared at Twilight, then he fell on the floor laughing. "Oh come on, how's that funny!?" Rainbow Dash shouted at Daniel, who was rolling on the floor laughing. _-_-_ The monster that rushed out of the bushes at Daring made her jump. It had a large gash where it's face should've been, and it's left hoof was replaced with a machete. It's cutiemark was too covered in blood for Daring to see it, too. Daring gasped, and took off. She followed the trail leading to Ponyville, it was the closest place to go. On the way there she remembered a deep hole, just up the trail. She would need to jump over it, and hopefully the thing would fall into it. Just a few seconds later Daring Do jumped over a 20 feet deep whole, and ran until she heard a loud gurgling moan, and muffled thump. She stopped, and ran back to the hole. She stopped, and looked down. Why'd they put a trail over a twenty feet deep whole anyway? The monster heard Daring at the top of the hole it fell down. The monster got onto it's hooves, and growled. The monster then jumped, and started climbing the dirt wall, pulling itself up by stabbing the wall with the machete, and pulling itself up. It wouldn't be long until the monster was out of the hole, so Daring started sprinting towards Ponyville again. She NEEDED to warn somepony about this. _-_-_ "So why are you bringing me to... What was it called?" Daniel asked walking along with the ponies he met eariler. Excluding Pinkie Pie, he hadn't seen her since she ran out at Fluttershy's house. "It's called Sugarcube Corner, and you're going there because we're supposed to meet Pinkie there." AppleJack said with the fakest looking smile Daniel had ever seen. "Yeah, we're meeting Pinkie..." Rainbow Dash agreed, trailing off at the end. "Oh look, we're here!" Twilight said. "Oh finaly! I don't like walking for too long!" Rarity said. Daniel could hear AppleJack mumble something about Rarity. Daniel looked away from the five mares to see what Sugarcube Corner looked like. He grinned when he saw the bakery. It looked as though someone poured a dessert bowl on a house. "Go in first." Twilight said, grinning. Daniel mentaly shrugged, and opened the door. "SUPRISE!" "ARGHHHHEA!"
Daniel's reaction to dubstepView OnlineAmnesia: Daniel's adventure in EquestriaDaniel's reaction to dubstepDaniel jumped into a nearby bush. The crowd of ponies were mumbling. "Is he OK?" He heard one stallion ask his friend. "Do you think I ruined my first impression?" A mare asked. Her voice had a worried tone to it. "I don't think you had a chance with him in the first place, he seems like Fluttershy's type," Another mare said. Before Daniel could listen anymore, he was fished out of the bushes by Rainbow Dash, who was chuckling. Daniel looked into the room once more, and was greeted with a insanity vision. A ponified grunt sprinted at him. Daniel was frozen in fear, he couldn't moove. He sighed of relief when the grunt dissapeared before it got to him. The guests, noticing his facial expression of fear, thought it was because he was shy. "D'aww, look at 'em" A grey pegasus with cross-eyes said. Daniel cleared his throat, and said, weakly though. "Ummm, my name is Daniel..." He raised a hoof, and waved it slightly. Suddenly, Pinkie popped right out of a picnic basket, suprising several ponies. "Let's get this party started!" She shouted. "Hit it, Vinyl!" She pointed a hoof at a strange machine. The pony behind it, who's name is Vinyl apperently, started making strange 'beep' noises. He couldn't classify the type of music, but he liked it. He tapped his hoof to the beat of the unknown music. The music kept going faster, and the beat went higher pitched. Then when the high pitched sound couldn't go any higher, the music exploded into a series of 'wubs' and other alien sounds. Daniel saw Pinkie talking to a brown stallion in the corner of the room, and he trotted over. Trying to avoid bumping into the dancing ponies around him. He tried his best to ignore the flirts going his way, from the mares around him. Pinkie looked at Daniel, and waved at him excitedly, she had a large ear-to-ear smile on her face, and she ran towards him. "Hey Danny, how do you like your party?" Pinkie asked, excitedly. "It's great... I guess," He said, the strange music was still on. "Hey, um.. Pinkie?" "Yeah, Danny?" Pinkie answered. "What's this music genre called?" Daniel said, he started tapping his hoof on the ground to the beat again. "It's called dubtrot, silly!" Pinkie said, and then she dissapeared into the crowd. "Dub... trot?" Daniel asked himself. Hey guys, sorry for not updating for a while. To show how sorry I am I found this pic for you all!
Really short chapter is really short.View OnlineAmnesia: Daniel's adventure in EquestriaReally short chapter is really short.Alexander was angry. He had used up half of his leftover power to send his strongest servant over to the pony planet to kill Daniel, and it was chasing the wrong pony. He didn't want that. Alexander did what he did because he wanted to go back to his home. Back to his wife, and his children. Now, he couldn't go back. Ever. He was trapped in a dark void, which Alexander presumed was his very own hell. He didn't want all of those innocent ponies to die, he only wanted to drag Daniel into the same void he was stuck in, and make him pay for ruining the portal... Portal! Alexander had a foolproof plan. He was thinking with portals. Using the last of his power, Alexander sent out a message to Daniel, along with a portal to drag him back to one of the most feared areas in the castle where Alexander used to live. You may be thinking 'why didn't Alexander just use the last of his power to teleport himself back to his home, but that actually wouldn't work. His home was too far in the dimensional plane, from the one he was stuck in, but Equestria, was jus the next one over. __ - - _ _- _ - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - -- - - -- -- -- -- - - - -- - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - - The party slowly came to a halt. BrennenburgView OnlineAmnesia: Daniel's adventure in EquestriaBrennenburgDaniel started to slowly wake up. His body coming to it's senses. His whole body ached, but maybe that was good, as the pain meant he was still alive. Daniel let a low pained groan out, and immediately regretted it. His throat, oh boy, his throat. It hurt like someone was stabbing him from the inside. Blinking away escaped tears, Daniel slowly got to his hooves. He was confused for a second about his "new" body, but as soon as the confusion came, it went. How could he have forgotten about the day before? The day he woke up in a strange land, with a strange body. Daniel looked around slowly, his head pounding. His breathing was shaky, and he was very confused about why he was here. But where was here? He had never been here, or had he? He was in a small room with shelves lining the wall, most of them empty. On the other side of the room, there was a broken down door. Suddenly, he had a flashback from one of his more heart racing moments from his adventure in the castle. Daniel ran as quick as he could away from the gatherer chasing him, his lantern was out, and he was bleeding from the chest. Have you ever been swiped at by a monster with four inch long razor sharp claws? It hurts! Daniel saw a wooden door from the corner of his eye, and quickly made a break for it. Daniel reached the door, opened it, and quickly slammed it behind him. Scanning the room for somewhere to hide took about three seconds. He saw a couple large (about four feet wide, and four feet tall.) wooden crates, and hopped over them. Daniel peeked around the corner of the crate, and saw the door on the other side of the room. About three seconds past and *BLARG** the gatherer struck the door. Making a small hole in the wooden door.* The gatherer struck again, making the hole bigger. One more time, the gatherer struck, and the door fell to pieces. Daniel's heart was racing, as he crouched behind the four foot tall crate. He could hear the gatherer's loud, slow footsteps towards the center of the room. Then about twenty seconds later, the gatherer left the room. Now it was time to focus on the wound. Daniel reached into his satchel and pulled out a small Laudanum container. He pulled the cork out, and drank all of it. Daniel sighed as he felt the torn skin on his chest slowly, magically healing. Daniel blinked a few times. How could he have forgotten such a close encounter? Maybe it was the amnesia potion that he took, it might still be in his system. That made Daniel think. Will he remember any of this after he's done. Will he remember the awesome party thrown in his honor, or the faces of the six ponies that helped him when he first arrived? He didn't know, and that was a pretty scary thought. Daniel slowly stumbled out of the room, leaning against the door. He felt sick, very sick. He coughed, a loud echoing hack. What was weird is that after the cough, Daniel could taste blood! ... Daniel's eyes widened. He had been so focused on the pain, that he didn't even notice that he was standing in almost complete darkness. Daniel slowly backed up into a corner. He looked around desperately for a light source. His eyes had adjusted to the darkness, but that didn't make it any better for Daniel. Daniel saw a dim candle on the other side of the large room. He started running for it, as fast as he could. Before the darkness could consume him. He reached for the candle, and grabbed with his hoof. He felt better as soon as he did. He slowly started to calm, but now that he wasn't focused on the darkness, he came to a frightening realization after seeing a small sign. He was in the storage room in the Brennenburg castle! "Is anybody there?" Daniel asked out loud, after a few seconds. "Daniel! Is that you?" A quiet, soft voice said from across the room. It was immediately obvious to Daniel who the voice belonged to. "Fluttershy?" Daniel said, looking around frantically. "Where are you?" Daniel continued to call out for the pony for about five minutes, until finally, Daniel decided it must have been his imagination, or that he's totaly insane. Scared shitless, Daniel decided to man up, and continue into the darkness, in search of his friends.
Flutter Through the DarknessView OnlineAmnesia: Daniel's adventure in EquestriaFlutter Through the DarknessFluttershy remembered one thing from the party, the portal that sucked her and her friends into what she presumed was another dimension. Fluttershy struggled to stand on her four hooves. Her eyesight was blurry, but she could make out the wood walls, and the stone floors of the room she was in. She rubbed her eyes with her hooves, and then the blur was gone. Now that Fluttershy could see, she saw a painting of an alien looking creature. The creature two eyes, a mouth, and a snout of some sort. Fluttershy read the engraved writing on the golden frame, out loud. "Alexander of Brennenburg" Fluttershy read, quietly. 'I wonder what type of Animal that thing is...' Fluttershy thought to herself. Behind Fluttershy, she heard a cough. She 'eeped' and jumped. Shaking, Fluttershy slowly trotted towards the other end of the room. She saw a barred window and through it, she saw a figure holding a candle. "Daniel? Is that you?" Fluttershy said, and immediately after a groan came from behind her. "Fluttershy!?" she could hear Daniel yell in surprise. "Where are you!?" She couldn't answer, because when she turned around to investigate the groan, she saw a large creature that looked like the one on the painting, except it's jaw was missing, making the skin hang down a good foot below the monster's head. Fluttershy panicked, and hid behind a knocked over wardrobe. The monster looked around the room for about ten minutes, and then left. Feeling scared and alone, Fluttershy lifted herself up to the barred window again, but Daniel wasn't there anymore. "D-Dan-Daniel? Where'd you go?" Fluttershy squeaked through the window. It was no hope, as Daniel was long gone in search for his friends. Fluttershy sat in the corner, unable to believe that this was happening. Left alone in a dark and scary castle, with a jawless monster roaming the halls. *CREAAAAKKK* The door at the other end of the room opened! Fluttershy backed up into the shadows, and curled into fetal position. She was shaking, and forcing herself to keep quiet. She didn't want to watch, and see what came out of that door, because it was most likely a horrible monste- "Hey, Fluttershy!" A happy voice said from across the room.
Brennenburg part 2View OnlineAmnesia: Daniel's adventure in EquestriaBrennenburg part 2After moving on from the dark room where he'd thought he heard Fluttershy, Daniel stumbled into a long hallway. He looked both ways, it looked as though the hall went on forever. He couldn't see the end on both sides. He chose a direction, and cautiously trotted down the hallway. The sound of rats, scurrying down the hallway was the most common sound he heard down his long walk down the hallway. The stone walls were cracked, and leaking water. The wooden floors were rotten, and creaked when he stepped on them. Shadows covered everything except for Daniel's close vicinity, because of the small wax candle he took with him, After 20 long minutes he reached the end of the hallway, and at the end was a small painting of Alexander. "Nonononononono, this can't be all it is! who would make a mile long corridor just for some painting?" Daniel panicked quietly. "Unless..." Daniel put his hoof above the painting and started to pull on it. He was struggling to pull the painting from the wall, finally, he heard a 'CHU-CHUNK' of a contraption being activated. He dropped the painting, and stepped back, he expected the painting to explode, or the walls to cave in, but no, the ending wall that had the painting on it, slowly started to drop, revealing a secret extra room. Daniel, with care, slowly stepped into the barely lit room. He heard what sounded like a gatherer off in the distance, and immediately started scanning the room for hiding places. There was a bed big enough to fit under, a big knocked over dresser, and a trapdoor that had a huge silver lock on it. Daniel heard another, closer gatherer roar, and quickly slid under the bed. He blew out the candle too. He didn't want to, because of his fear of the dark, but to insure survival, he must. He squinted his eyes so he could see out from under the bed, and into the long hallway. He could barely make out the shape of a dismembered, mutilated body. A gatherer. Daniel closed his eyes, and imagined he was back in Ponyville, back with the ponies that helped him. Daniel opened his eyes again to see the feet of the gatherer standing at the entrance of the room. The gatherer grunted again, then turned and wandered off. After the monster was far enough away, Daniel pushed himself out from under the bed. He trotted over to the lock, and looked to see if it was a padlock, or a combination lock. It was a padlock, so Daniel immediately started searching the room for anything to unlock/destroy the obstacle. For the first time, Daniel had a good look around the room, the bed was in the corner, and in the opposite corner was the padlocked trap door, then there was a bookshelf, then a small table with a few tinderboxes on it. He used one to relight the candle. __________________ BACK IN PONYVILLE Daring do ran into the town she had seen earlier. Panting. It was the middle of the night, so no one was outside to see the monster chasing her. She saw a small building and fuckin' ninja'd up to it by sprinting up to a park bench that was near it, and kicking off of it to boost her jumping distance. She landed on top of the building with a 'THUNK' and looked back over the side to see if the monster was still right behind her... There. Was. Nothing. Had she gone crazy? Did she just imagine the monster in the woods? She honestly doubted it, but something in her hoped that it was all just a crazy insane drug trip she suddenly went on. ___________________ BACK IN BRENNENBURG Daniel kept looking around the room, hoping that the huge goddamned corridor that he had just taken the 20 minutes to walk down was worth it. I mean, he was a busy man, after all. He stood up on his hind legs and reached above the bookshelf. He felt something cold, and heavy, and managed to pull it down. He was happy to see that it was a large, silver key. He sighed, and stuck it in the lock, and twisted it. With a small cranking sound that came from the lock, the trap door opened. To his own horror, under the trapdoor was a ladder leading down into a very dark room. He could barely see what was down there, but there really wasn't any choice. He HAD to get out of there, and if he's learned something over the course of his travels in the castle, it's that the most important pieces, are always in the most scary places. So he sighed and started the dark descent. When he was about halfway down the ladder, he heard a small sob come from the other side of the room. Daniel was surprised, and almost fell off, but managed to stay on until about a foot of the ground, and that's where he just jumped off. He turned around and shone the light towards the crying noise. On the other side of the room, he saw a white form, it... It almost looked like... No... It couldn't be... was it Rarity? Daniel slowly walked to the form. He reached out and slowly extended his hoof towards what he presumed was just another figment of his imagination. He expected his hoof to just go straight through it, but when his hoof made contact. IT MADE CONTACT, and she sure reacted, too. Rarity jumped back, and turned around quickly, she crouched like she was about to pounce on Daniel. Her horn started glowing fiercely. There were tears streaming down her face, along with eyeliner that was starting to water up and leak down her face too. "Woah, don't!" Daniel shouted before Rarity could fire off whatever spell she was about to shoot him with. "It's me! Daniel!" Rarity calmed down for a few seconds, and the glow on her horn went away, then she buried her face in Daniel's chest, and started sobbing again. Daniel honestly didn't know what to do, he was kind of panicking. "Ok ok ok... Hold on Rarity... Tell me why you're crying..." Daniel told her while she hugged him, and muffled her cries with his chest. Rarity took a step back and sniffled. "Well... Out with it..." Daniel eagerly said, concerned. "When... When we first got here... I was with Fluttershy... Th-then we saw one of those things, and... and.... I ran... I left her behind... It went after me, and locked me in here... B- but I don't think Fluttershy's going to be okay, and If she is... Then I don't think she's going to like me anymore..." Rarity choked out... Sobbing between every sentence. Daniel remembering that he heard Fluttershy earlier said "I'm sure she's OK, Rarity, and I don't think she's going to hate you... I mean who could hate such a great pony?" Daniel tried to calm her down. Rarity smiled, and sniffled. She wiped the last tear from her eyes, and stood up straight. "Well then... Let's go find our friends!" She said.
Daniel's nightmare (Short chapter)View OnlineAmnesia: Daniel's adventure in EquestriaDaniel's nightmare (Short chapter)Daniel slowly opened his eyes. His vision was blurry at first, but cleared after he blinked a few times. He was lying in a bed, a soft one at that. He was wrapped in multiple blankets. Where was he? He craned his neck so he could look around him. He gasped at what he saw. Darkness. Darkness everywhere! He started taking sharp, and quick breaths, and his eye sight started going blurry on the edges. His teeth chattered, also. Daniel whimpered, and tightly closed his eyes, and tried to calm himself. "It's just a dream, Daniel. Get a hold of yourself" He said quietly to himself. He was almost back to his normal self, when he heard a growl. Daniel didn't know where it came from, and he didn't want to, so he pulled the blankets up over his head, and cried himself to sleep.
Monster in the darknessView OnlineAmnesia: Daniel's adventure in EquestriaMonster in the darknessThe monster slowly came to it's sences. He 'looked' around. He couldn't actually see, but he could feel vibrations, on the ground that signaled where the prey was. From what it could tell, it was lying on it's back, in a forest. It could hear the chirps of birds, and it could feel that it was lying on a forest floor. The monster decided to test if it could still move. You don't normaly survive a whole castle caving in on you! Even it knew that. It started testing it's limbs. The metal inside of the beast creaked as it moved it's own apendages. From what the monster could tell, he could move, BUT he wasn't a human anymore. The monster let out a loud moan, that would strike fear into the most bravest of all ponies, and Chuck Norris combined! The beast then heaved itself up. From the vibration that it made, the beast made a mental image of what he looked like. The image inside the beast's head was of a pony. A PONY! The monster took a step forward, ready to check for any prey, but fell down. The blade that replaced the left hoof of the beast plunged, accidentaly, into the beast's stomach, but it didn't even care. It was used to the pain...
