Chapter 67: Fight and flight.

"Guess that makes me your first time." I laughed.

He laughed too. "That's a good one." The laughter died and he looked on across the rooftops. "Think you can keep up?"

"On the roofs? Fuck no, but I'll try."

"Be careful then." He said starting up a run across the rooftop, his feet giving of clanks as his boots hit the clay tiles.

"This is refreshing." I said running after. I followed Ezio along the long roof to a small gap between another that he nimbly jumped. I hurried my pace and jumped, hoping with all I had that I wouldn't eat it and fall thirty feet to death. I barely landed near the edge and stumbled forward. I panted heavily. "Fuck this shit."

"You were right about not being able to keep up." Ezio said laughing.

"Parkour isn't my thing." I said calming my breathing.

"Well you better make it. Keeping to the ground makes things a lot harder."

"Not if you know what you're doing."

"Then show me." Ezio said moving out of the way. "There are archers all across the rooftops. They spot you on the ground and it's over."

"Okay, rooftops maybe the better option then." I said seeing one across the large gap of the street.

"Exactly. Now follow me, I want to practice on the real thing, tell me what I'm doing wrong." Ezio said running back across the roofs and out of sight.

I stood there waiting and after about a minute I saw Ezio on the other side, sneaking up to the guard. He grabbed him and held a hand to his mouth, the guard struggled in his arms. Ezio twisted the guards head to side but still he struggled. Ezio twisted harder and the guards squirmed about. Ezio finally pulled as hard as possible, the guards head jolted to the side before slumping down. Ezio set him down on the roof and hurried back.

"Well?" He asked.

"That was sloppy, very sloppy. You need to do in one quick fluid motion. No stops, no holding back. Just twist." I said very disappointingly.

"Right." He exhaled.

"Forget it, this would take too long and I don't feel like sitting around."

"Please, I may need these skills. I'll try harder." He said in an almost begging manner.

"Fine, don't be such a bitch."

I followed him across the roofs to another guard position. I watched as he sneaked up behind him and grabbed his head. Hands on chin and back of head, he twisted. The guard slumped and he eased him down. "Better?" He asked.

"Much."

"Great. Now I can stop worrying." He said in joking manner.

"You really seem to take these sort of things lightly."

"Really, most people say I'm pretty serious. Strange."

I shrugged.

"Come. I would like to show you something in return." He said leading me across the roof to a small ledge. "Since you seem to take much from the watch and learn philosophy, then I think it's about your turn." He looked over the edge taking a deep breath and leaped off in a swan dive.

I stood there mouth agape at the sight as he landed in a cart of hay and hopped out perfectly fine. I peaked over the edge and sighed. "Good thing I'm not acrophobic." I backed up and ran forward, jumping. My kilt fluttered and flew up from my waist as I soared through the air. My manhood now out in the open. "Motherfucker!" I yelled angrily. I slammed into the cart hard and my vision blurred. My head drifted and everything darkened.

My eyes eased open and I looked around me. Bed, clock, Twilight. I sighed and laid my head back down. "Well, at least things are alright now. Still kinda liked the accent though, sexy."

I looked over to the clock.

"Looks like I have some time. Might as well try to enjoy it." I thought holding Twilight a little closer. The corners of her mouth rose a bit, she cuddled to me, unconsciously or not I still liked it. I brought my head down close to hers, my nose near her hair. Her scent still held a sort of grass like feel to it.

She mumbled something inaudible and nuzzled her face to my shoulder affectionately. "I wonder just what kind of dream she's having?" I thought to myself.

Her eyes began to open and I could see the thin shimmer of violet grow. She looked up to me. "Morning." She said softly.

"Morning." I answered back.

We shared a quick kiss and went back to the cuddling. "So how did you sleep?" She asked.

"Okay I guess."

"Dream about anything?" She asked.

"Nothing much, a bit of you." I said looking off.

"Just what about me?" She asked with a growing concern.

"Nothing bad, just us being us." I said looking back to her.

She smiled and came close for another kiss.

"Well I guess we can get up now."

"We don't have to, we could just lay hear for a while." She offered.

I thought about it for a minute. "Sounds good to me." I said smiling.

She smiled back and hugged tightly. My arm stung a little and I forced myself through it. She could see my uncomfortable face and looked up to me worriedly. "What's the matter?"

"Arm." I answered simply.

She looked to my left arm and stared curiously at it. "When are you going to tell me what that is anyway?"

"Like I said, when it's done."
