We lied there holding each other. She hummed and sighed occasionally, enjoying the moment. I quietly yawned and sighed with her. We'd share loving gaze for a few moments and share kiss before burying our heads in the others shoulder. For a time our breathing was matched and my heart beat a little harder. She could feel it and held her hand to my chest. I held my hand over hers and we leaned our heads together, our foreheads pressing together.
Sometimes she'd turn over and I hold her tight from behind. My head over hers, my chin to her neck. We'd never really done anything like this. Most of the time it would just be her lying atop me, now we found something just as good to take place when we want to. I sighed and she nuzzled her cheek to mine. My heart beat just a little harder.
"I'm liking the new look and how it feels." She said softly.
"The what?" I asked smiling and raising a brow.
She turned over and moved her hand up to my face, rubbing my cheek. "All this."
My face pulled a little to her touch and I realized I hadn't shaved since the day I met her. My face held a lengthy stubble I hadn't noticed for some time. She liked it, and I only shaved once in a while anyway. "I'll keep it if you want." I offered.
"Alright."
We shared a smile and kissed. I looked back to the clock.
8:49
"Been doin' this for a while. Could get used to it though."
"I'll say." Twilight said holding tightly.
"So what do you feel like. Maybe a shower and some breakfast?" I suggested.
"Sounds great."
I lifted off the covers and we slipped out of bed. "You get things started, I'm gonna do something real quick." I said walking through the doorway, down the hall and into the kitchen. I set the kettle on the burner, turning it on and grabbed the loaf of bread, placing a few pieces in the toaster. I pushed down the lever and walked back to the bathroom.
I felt a little surprise to already see Twilight wait with the shower running and everything. She stood there out side it, her hands on her hips, her clothes folded and set down on the counter by the sink. I smiled that it was this early and I was already seeing her naked. She placed her hand under the running water. "Feels ready to me."
"Great, I'll grab a few towels. You hop in and I'll join up in a sec." I said steeping out for a second, grabbing two towels from the open closet. I placed them down by where she had set her clothes and lifted up my shirt, pulling it off and dropping it. I undid the button to my jeans and slid them down, my boxers following the same route.
I stepped into the shower and stood under the warm running water with Twilight. Having to hold my arm up out of the water.
We washed thoroughly and dried off, going back to the bedroom and dressed. We finally finished the whole routine and Twi sat down on the couch while I poured the cups and added nutella to the toast. I sat down on the coach with her having breakfast, planning out my day.
"Since Kian won't be done with his shit until sometime around four or five, I guess I'm open with Twi. I should probably check my e-mail for that letter from mom." I thought while taking a bite of toast.
I sat up and set my cup down on the computer desk, turning on the computer. I sat down and let things warn up while I finished my breakfast and cleaned up. I set the small plate and empty cup in the sink and sat back down at the computer loading gmail. God I love Google and their innovations to internet browsing. Internet explorer doesn't get you places like Google.
I loaded up my mailbox and there waiting was one from what I figured was my mom. The address sounded like her. I opened it and read it.
Donny,
I'm so glad we're finally all back together. Kian said he'll be spending sometime with you later so I'll be hearing some more from him as well. How are you? How's Twilight. Oh you two look so happy, I can't believe you grown so much. You're as big as your father was. Life has been a funny thing for all of us since then. But it seems things are looking bright for you. I'm so happy to know I can talk to you now. I love you.
~Mom
Of coarse my mother would write it exactly like a letter. I began typing out my reply, Twilight standing me, bend down over my shoulder. "What's this?"
"It's called electronic mail, e-mail for short. It's kinda like having your own Spike. You type out the letter and send it and whoever it's sent to receives it instantly."
"Neat."
"Yeah, and if you have the right software added to the computer, you can send all sort of charts and documents. If you had one of these back in Ponyville things would be a hell off a lot easier. A little more organized if anything."
She still looked at it while I typed up my letter.
Mom,
I'm happy to hear from you too. When Kian's done with his school work and after school things I'm taking him out and helping him with some things, brother bonding sort of things. And don't worry, I'm not going to take him somewhere like a strip-club or anything. That would be too weird for him.
"What's a strip-club?" Twilight asked.
"Something I seriously hope Equestria does not have. I do not need that image in my head." I said shuddering. I went back to typing.
I'm doing fine and so is Twilight and thank you, we are. Please don't bring him up. I really don't want to talk about him. I'm glad I can talk to you now too.
Donny
"Donny," Twilight laughed. "I still think that's a cute name."
"I was hoping that would stay as a thing between me and my mother, but, seeing as it's you using it I'll let it slide."
She hugged me from behind. I smiled and rolled my eyes.
"So what do you feel like doing? A little more research in the paranormal? The internet's great for that."
"Maybe. The hairy giant was interesting." She said tilting her head to the side.
"You'd probably like that crap like aliens."
"Why's that?" She asked.
"Well, the whole other worlds, advanced technology, strange creatures thing would probably be something you'd like." I laughed a little and deadpanned after thinking about it for a minute. I face palmed and she looked down to me curiously.
I sent the message and went up to the browser typing in 'aliens' and hitting enter. I clicked the first link that showed up and got up motioning for Twi to take a seat. She sat down and started reading. I walked over to the couch and sat down trying to figure something out. "Does that mean she's technically on an alien world?" I leaned back in the couch thinking.
"Pretty interesting." Twi said still reading.
I just nodded. "Well this is a total mindfuck."
I started to stare at the clock for a while, blanking. In almost no time at all it was three and I finally snapped out. Twilight was still caught up in her reading.
I got up and walked over to the door, grabbing my shoes. "I'll be back in a while." I said opening the door.
"Alright." She said still glued to the computer.
"I'm really gonna need to stop showing her things." I thought while I closed the door behind me. I walked over to it and sat down on my bike, starting it. I looked down at my arm. "I've got time."
I kicked up the stand and rode off down the road.
Three hours passed and after extensive work I left the shop with fresh bandaging around my arm. Riding down to my mother's. I pulled up the driveway and parked, kicking out the stand. I hopped up from my bike, walked to the door and knocked. I waited for a few seconds and was greeted by my mother opening the door.
"Oh Donny! Come in." She said happily.
"Hey mom." I said smiling. I walked in and hugged her. "Kian home yet?" I asked.
"Uh yes, he got home a little while a go. Should I go get him?" She asked.
"Sure."
"I got your reply too." She looking at me a raised brow. "Strip-club?"
I shrugged.
She smiled and rolled her eyes, walking down the hall. After a few minutes she came back with Kian. "You ready to go?" I asked.
He nodded.
"Alright, uh bye mom. I'll have him back at about eight."
"Okay, you two have fun doing, whatever it is you have planned."
I nodded and we walked out the door. I lead Kian to the bike. "What, you don't have a car?" He asked.
"Nope."
"So does that mean I have to uh-"
"Ride bitch? yeah." I said sitting down.
"Do you have to put it like that?" He asked.
"Just get on little brother."
"You see, double entendre. Can you not do those?" He asked.
"Fine, just get on the bike." I said rolling my eyes.
He sat down awkwardly behind me and held onto my shoulders.
I couldn't resist. "Is that a pen in your pocket?" I asked kicking up the stand.
"Oh uh, yeah. I was doing some--wait. Oh you weirdo."
I laughed and backed out.
Two hours later I walked through my front door, kicking off my shoes and closing the door behind me. I walked to the couch and slumped down onto it. "Man that kid needs some work."
Twi got up from the computer and sat down on the couch beside me. "So how was it, spending time with your brother?"
"I don't feel like talking about it." I said resting my head back.
"That bad?" She asked.
"It was fucking embarrassing to see that." I said raising my hands to my face.
She smiled. "Can't choose your family."
"It was still pretty bad." I said as my hands flopped down into my lap.
"Feel like going to bed?" She asked.
"Little early don't you think?"
"I know." she smiled.
I perked up. "Alright."
