Rarity woke up sleeping next to Fluttershy. She was snuggled up against her. Rarity smiled. Rarity took her temperature and her body temperature was normal. Rarity looked through Twilight's closet for any winter clothes. She found a perfect outfit that might actually fit Fluttershy and laid it on the bed next to Fluttershy.

Rarity went downstairs and everone else was wide awake and waiting for her except Fluttershy. "Is she better?" Applejack asked. Rarity could tell they were all wondering the same thing. The room was filled with questions like a mind that wouldn't stop thinking.

"Yes, her temperature is normal for now, but we got to leave soon or the storm is going to get worse." Rarity said pointing to the outside window.

The window showed a baren snow landscape. The wind was blowing harshly against the house making it creak. It looked like a blizzard!  There was nopony within sight. They were all in their houses nice warm and comfortable, sitting by the fireplace.

"Its gotten worse...." Applejack said. Rarity nodded. Rarity went and found some winter gear in Twilight's closet.

Raity threw the clothes to her friends. "Here take these. They'll help you stay warmer. This was all I could find."

They all thanked her and put the winter gear on.

Fluttershy clopped down the stairs in her winter gear. "Why did you lay this out for me?" She asked. In her calm, sweet voice. They went over and group hugged Fluttershy. "Did I miss something?"

"We'll tell you about it later," Applejack said. "Right now were glad your awake and we need to leave! Spike could you look after the place while were gone?"

"Sure," He said calmly and opened the door fro them. Snow flew into the room. They ran outside

Applejack could barely see anything in front of her with Twilight's snow storm. The wind was blowing hard and strong. They could berely see any buildings.

Even Rainbow Dash had a hard time flying. The wind was strong, but Twilight's friends were stronger. They had to find Twilight and fix this mess. They mustered up their strength and ran back into the woods where they last saw Twilight. Rainbow Dash then took over by gesturing her hoof saying to follow her.

They ran past snow covered trees and grass and followed Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash led them to where Twilight had turned the river to ice.

"Twilight did this?!" Applejack asked pointing at the frozen river and the sky.

"Yep! I saw it with my own two eyes! Twilight sure has some power to be able to change the season to winter." Rainbow Dash replied and tried to see through the snow storm.

"Is the ice safe to withstand our weight?" Applejack asked, gesturing her hand to the ice. She tried stand on the ice. It seemed stable enough to withstand their weight. The rest slowly walked on the ice.

The ice was slippery, their hooves moved everywhere around the place. Making them look ridiculous. This was going to take them a while.

"I brought ice skates!" yelled pinkie with excitement. And magically pulled out four ice skates from her bouncy pink hair.

"Where did you.... nevermind," Applejack mumbled, pointing at the ice skates. Never underestimate Pinkie Pie.

That was going to make it a lot easier to get to Twilight. They all knew how to ice skate really well. Fluttershy wasn't very good, but at least Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash could fly their way there. They strapped on their ice skates and skated off to the other side of the frozen river.

"Wee! This is fun I wish we could do this more often!" Pinkie Pie yelled, having fun on her ice skates. "Although I wish it wasn't this cold. Brrr!"

The wind started to get stronger and nearly pushed them back a few inches. "We can't give up everypony. Try your best to fight the wind." And fight the wind they did. They finally made it out of the frozen river. "We have to stay somewhere tonight. We all need to get some rest. We can't just try to stay awake. We've been up for hours worrying about Twilight. I'm tired too. And we can't stay in the cold outside we'll become ponysicles if we don't find someplace warm." said Applejack.

The mountains were a few miles away. It would take them a while to get up to one.

Below the mountains was a log cabin. It was only a few yards away so it seemed like that was the only option. They walked closer to the log cabin revealing it was a store and as they got closer.

Trees covered in snow hid a little shack that was a sleep-in suite. They went inside the store, but before the ponies went in the store name sign was covered in snow. Applejack knocked off the snow on the sign revealing that the store had items that would be perfect for their trip. The name of the quaint little store was edged into a big piece of wood: 'The Wandering Ponies Winter Supplies and Hotel.' Then they went inside.

Inside there were a lot winter supplies sitting on shelves there were some knick-knack little toys for the young ones. They looked just like little miniature versions of them. How cute!

"Are you looking for anything in particular?" asked a colt sitting next to the cash register. He had an accent, but they didn't know where it originated from. "You hoo! Were having a big spring blowout!" Waving his hooves up to get their attention. "My name is Oakie Spruce. Were you looking for a place to stay?" Oakie asked.

Suddenly the door opened and there stood a tall stallion. He was wearing winter clothes, but his whole entire body was covered in snow. What was he doing out here in the woods? There was carrots sitting on the counter of the cashiers check-out. He stiffly pointed out them and asked hw much were they plus the grappling hook that was used for climbing.

He asked how much it was and it must have been too high for him because he started bargaining the price. Oakie mad a compromise and  just made him pay for the carrots and the colt still bargained and bickered with the owner.

The colt went too far and said something rude to the owner "Your prices are too high. You need to get with the present and lower your prices." The customer yelled.

"What did you just say?!" Oakie said raising his voice. He stood up. He was tall enough already, but he wad the tallest stalluon we had ever seen. He was as tall as the log cabin in height. He took the customer by the body and threw him out in the snow.

"Yes, I would like to have a room," Applejack answered uncomfortably.

"Good. If you came here last night there would have been no room for you to stay. A mare and colt were staying there yesterday."

Applejack paid for the room and Oakie gave Applejack the room key to unlock the door.

She also payed for the supplies that the customer wanted to get and they left the building.

"Have a nice day!" He said returning to his happy tone of voice. As they closed the door behind them. The storm had calmed down and the sky was clear for now.

"Finally the snows cleared up. Or at least for now." Rainbow Dash said. They could see the stallion walk slowly towards nowhere. Applejack went and ran to the stallion. She threw the bag of food and climbing supplies at the customer.

"Now what was with that attitude back there?" Applejack asked.

"Nothing you should worry about," He said turning his back on her. "You didn't have to give me this stuff."

"Oh yes I did! You should know better than to yell at the owner of the place,"

"Well sorry, but I don't know how to be nice to anyone. I barely know anyone."

"Tell me why your upset." Applejack said.

"I don't like to complain about my life, but I grew up as an orphan. I chop blocks as a living."

"I have a right to give you some fun. That's it your coming with us. You need to experience something that'll change your life." Applejack grabbed him by the ear and tugged him along to their cabin.

"I have a friend, jeez I'm not that lonely!" He complained. Hepointed over behind the trees in the woods and they walked there. There was a colt sitting in a wooden sled. "This is Sven, " He introduced her. "I'm Kristoph." He waved at Applejack. "He doesn't talk that much so he shouldn't be an annoyance to you."

Applejack openly accepted them into their group.

She gestured for them to come along. They followed her to their hotel.

Her friends were already inside getting comfortable. "Brought along some friends. They need somethin' exciting in their lives. Spruce it up a bit. Wait til they see Twilight," Applejack said entering the door.

Applejack made an extra bed for Sven and Kristoph to sleep on. Fluttershy waved shyly at them.

"Hiya!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed. Being the loud Pinkie Pie she was. We called it a night and went to bed.
