Chapters A week had passed since the incident and the victors’ parade was upon us Dash was ready to open her gift from me. Ever the loyal filly, she actually waited for me to get up. (I had a long night “playing” with my new toy as Prism would say) My usual schedule has me awake at about 0400, however today I didn’t wake until 0630. Rainbow was up and jumping holding the box since 0600, an unusual time for her to be up and atem. Dash looked at me with the biggest grin. “Okay you can open it now.” I said after taking literally a minute to wake up (I love this healing factor shit).
Dash tore open the box like it was a hearths warming gift. The look on her face was worth more than the fifty bits I blew on the equipment I knew she’d use.”Can you help me put these on, Storm?” Dash said with excitement. She had been begging for a new set of guards since she started outgrowing her old ones.
I walk to her and helped her don her new sporting gear. The guards sported Cloudsdale blue and and gold she looked good in it. But the guards weren’t the only piece of the equipment. She wanted to put on the helmet, but I stopped her. “No need for the helmet, Dash. They won’t let you in after party if you’re in full gear! “ Dashes ears perked up and her wings shot up in excitement at the mention of a the after party. It helps to have connections.
“Hey, can you not act like a lunatic this early in the morning Rainbow Dash!” Mystique (or my toy as Prism calls her when we’re alone) who now went by Puzzle Piece (real name this time) groaned not used to my schedule. I gave her some slack since it’s only been a week since she became mine through oath. I found her new form, enchanting to say the least. She was a jet black pegasus with a white mane that had small streaks of black in it and grey eyes. As for the cutie mark, she was sporting what looked like an empty puzzle square. She was about between me and Dash in the size department and her curves were incredible. Almost hard to believe she's a filly, Prism was actually threatened by her promiscuity. Funny part is she bunks with Dash, meaning she woke not too long after Dash.
Puzzle was bashing on cereal. She was a hybrid like me, meaning she needed normal food in her diet along with emotions to stay fed. Puzzle, was a pegasus hybrid. I’m just glad she took my advice about using her other half. Us hybrids have two forms. For me it’s the form I’m always in and then there’s my true changeling dragon form, which frightened even Eris and she’s seen some shit. For some reason Puzzle’s changeling form is just as enchanting as her pegasus form. So I guess it must be the dragon part that causes the scary look, oh well. Not like I plan on revealing that part of me to anyone anytime soon.
“Don’t even pretend that you’re not excited to see Tidus. You’re going too, you know!” Dash said indignantly and stuck her tongue out at Puzzle.
The two of them were arguing like an old married couple. It was only a matter of time till they did something stupid, wake Prism before 0800. We’re all gonna be in for it if I let this go on any longer. “If you two make me have to deal with a grumpy Prism, I swear to my ancestors that we won’t go. I say in a “shut the fuck up” tone of voice, that got the both to shut their traps and eat their cereal. After successfully getting them to shut up, I made mystique kcal some eggs and ham. The fillies gagged at the smell of my delicious bourbon hickory smoked ham being grilled on a skillet about five feet away from them. That'll teach him not to annoy me this early in the morning.
I cracked a few eggs and added some powdered emerald. I’d been having the draconic answer to green eggs and ham today. By the time I had finished cooking it was about 0730, so I thought now I should work on the other half Prism's breakfast Before I did that, I put a lid on my plate (enchanted) to keep my food warm while I made Prism’s.
I started cutting some potatoes up with one of my claws and cooked her eggs with the other. “This is missing something.” Then it hit me, Salmon. Prism loves salmon. My attention went to the fridgen. Using my tail, I opened the chiller and grabbed the salmon (ground and pre smoked by me) and added some seasoning to the mix. I really love being able to do three things at once!
As the food was finishing I placed it on a plate that rested upon a tray, The only thing this was missing was some orange juice. With that thought in mind I grabbed an orange and removed it of its juicy contents and repeated until I had two full glasses of orange juice. I grabbed both trays and walked to Prism’s room.
“Wake up honey, breakfast is served.” I said whilst lifting the lid from her breakfast and wafting.
Prism began to stir in her sheets. Oh sweet Luna, she’s so cute when she sleeps. “Something smells good. What’s on the menu, love?”
“Eggs and potatoes o'brien with a side of honey smoked salmon and salmon biscuits for the both of us. As for me, emerald eggs and ham. I also squeezed us some orange juice!” Prism smiled at the breakfast in bed I had made for her. I was rewarded with a kiss, that tasted of morning breath. I was tempted to assail her tongue with my own, but that will have to wait. It’s going to be a fun day.
Two hours and a very fun shower with Prism later, we were all ready to get to the parade. It wasn’t schedule until 1400 but we (or at the very least I) had to be there early since I’d be on the float with Tidus. As soon as I checked us in I noticed I had a small problem. Tidus had only given me two full access (float riders) passes and the rest were normal VIP passes, that jackass. This was going to be a hard decision.
“I can’t believe we get to ride on the float!” Dash squealed
“Yeah this is gonna be awesome! You’re the greatest, boss!
“I have to admit, I had my doubts. But you really do know Tidus!” Prism was a big fan of the Abes as well, I think her devotion was rivaled only by Dash.
Oh this is gonna be hard. Tidus when I get my claws around you I’m gonna beat your scaley ass. “Well, about that. There’s one problem.” The girls stared at me for an answer. “Tidus gave me two full access passes and two standard VIP passes and one of the FA passes is specifically for me. So I can only take one of you on the float, but you’ll all meet Tidus at the party!”
I was waiting for them to do the eye thing that all mares now how to do...and there it is. They all want to be on the float with me and Tidus. Great, just great! Prism was doing the sultry look that I love so fucking much and Puzzle was shaking her thing for me . While Dash moped on the ground.
“What’s wrong, Dash?” I ask in a tone of genuine worry. I've never seen her like this, ever.
“I can’t compete with that!” She pointed to the display of sexyness taking place behind me. While she was crying honest tears the whole time. “Just promise me you’ll have fun out there Mommy!” Prism nodded
Ok so It’s time to make my decision. Pick Puzzle or Prism and be rewarded with hot steamy sex or pick dash and make the sad filly happy again. I begin to move to Prism, but change my mind and about-face to Dash and put the FA pass on her neck. The others were irked slightly at me Paragon decision even Eris was expecting me to fuck one of the other girls. Prism and Puzzle put their passes on and pouted a bit.
“Come here you!” Prism was smiling as she pulled me into a bathroom and locked the door. One mind blowing blowjob later. “I was being selfish, thanks for choosing Dash.” She looked at my still throbbing member and unlocked the door. “Puzzle get in her, Dash don’t let anyone near here!” Dash nodded.
“Since he didn’t pick you want to make him apologize?” Prism said to Puzzle in a slightly vengeful tone.
“Oh, I think I like that Idea. Are you gonna be helping?” Prism just shook her head no. I really hope this isn’t gonna be what I think it is. “You chose Dash instead of me, boss! It’s time for that apology!” She sat on the toilet and opened her legs while Prism walked out with Dash. Puzzle locked the door with her magic, careful to focus her aura on the lock. Her aura would go unnoticed by most since it was the same color as the lock, gray. As soon as the door was locked, we got to business.
After “apologizing” to puzzle and washing the smell of sex off of the both of us, we were ready to go. We got here about an hour and a half earlier than we needed to so after the time was spent with Puzzle and Prism, We were ready to go to our designated places. Dash and I waved as we went into the double doors that they couldn’t get into and they headed for the VIP area to watch the festival and wait for us to at the end of it.
I was walking in on my hind legs, claws in my jacket. While Dash was walking next to me looking around in awe at all the parked floats. “Wow, there’s so many of them and they look so awesome!” Dash said with gusto.
I didn’t respond to Dash’s wonder. Especially when we got to the Abe’s float. Dash was literally a kid in a candy store. Really, the sponsor for Abes float was a candy store. Needless to say I got Dash a little something, since she forgot her coin purse at home. She got roughly three bits worth of candy, that I had delivered to the house.
“By my ancestors storm, you really did settle well with ponies!” Tidus gave me a pat on the back. Dash went silent. Nerves, I guess. Tidus was a white dragon whose alabaster scales almost put Celestia (still haven’t seen her) to shame, almost. Despite how I was talking to him, Tidus was my sempai. He helped me learn what I know about weather control since he’s a feathered dragon as well. One of the few in the pride. They were sad to see him go but this was his path. He had red eyes (no albino joke intended) and the same hairstyle as the real (as real as he can get) Tidus. He even sported a necklace of the symbol of the Abes, two lightning bolts between two blue spread wings.
“Tidus, you newt. Do you know how much trouble you caused me? Why didn’t you just give me four like I asked, you’ve got the pull to make that happen. I had to choose Dash here over her mother and my servant.”
“Yeah, sorry bout that. But the mayor’s brats are going to be on the float. I made it clear that you were a must have for me and I could only allow you a plus one for the float. But don’t worry, your girls will be pampered Vip section of the tower. They got the best seats in the house since the parade made the town a no fly zone.” I blanched at the mention of the mayor’s kids. They were made Diamond Tiara look like a saint!
“It’s cool man, I made the right choice and life rewarded me for it! So no harm no foul. Now, would you please say hi to my filly friend?” Dash was shaken out of her stupor and turned bright red her wings pomfed in embarrassment and Tidus just grinned.
“Hey idiot, any idea what you just said?” Eris tolled in
I didn’t say anything wrong I just introduced Dash as my… Oh shit!
“Let me rephrase that. Please say hi to my friend, the filly behind me.”
Tidus walked up to Dash and held out a claw. “Hi, I’m Tidus. But judging by the gear, you already know that. So what’s your name, cutie.”
“R, Rainbow Dash!” She blurted out. “It’s awesome to meet you, mr. Tidus!” Tidus returned the pleasure and we walked to our float. It was much to my chagrin that my eyes met Silver Lining, the youngest sister (as is, she’s no friend of mine.) Her flank was blank and her coat, like her name was pure silver. The mane was blue and so were her eyes. I try not to look too much at her, while I have no problem looking at a hot filly (Puzzle’s proof of that) she was an epic bitch.
My irked look turned into a full on smile when I laid eyes on her elder sister (this one was a friend and customer of mine) Nimbus Kicker. She rocked a blue coat with a mane of a slightly different shade. Her cutie mark was actually hooves clearing clouds. It makes sense that she’s one of Cloudsdale’s chief weather engineers. She didn’t even need her father to get that seat since she most likely calculated what weather patterns we needed to have a perfect day today.
“Hey Tidus, how much time till we leave?” I asked.
“About an hour.”
“Hang out with Dash, will ya?” I had planned to do some talking with Nimbus. Walking up to Nimbus with a little bit of a swag to my walk, I greet her and her sister. Lining is young, she can be talked out of the dark side. That and I really want to have a chat with Nimbus, she’s cool.
Nimbus hailed me down as I was getting closer to her. “Nice job on the climate control, Kicker!” Nimbus was happy at my acknowledgement. It must’ve been hard to calculate the weather we needed to have all week to get the conditions we needed for the festival.
“It’s good to see you here, Storm!” Nimbus made no effort in hiding how happy she was to see me. She was doing that thing mares do with their hips when they’re horning. I pointed to the concealed wagon of the float. “Oh this will be fun!”
While I would love to say I got it on with Nimbus, we didn’t get past making out. Having sex in the wagon would not be a good idea, the smell and all. After a little bit of stress relief for Kicker, we came out of the wagon and just talked casually. “Thanks for that, Storm. I’ve been pent up all week.” Nimbus sighed in relief. Wow maybe my special talent is stress relief...NAH!
We were only gone for about five minutes, so that didn’t arouse any suspicion. Well much anyway. I made a point in kicking it with Kicker every now and again. When we went topside, we went to our places Kicker and Lining got seats in the front of the float, while Tidus, Dash, and I got the stage part. The plan was pretty simple. Tidus and I would circle each other in the air then we’d blow fire in air and proceed to burn the float to reveal it’s true nature.
The float was actually made of a unique crystal that contain the glow of our flames. It worked perfectly with our flame colors. His green and my white. Dashes role would be to fly threw a few flaming circles then set up the clouds make an Abes symbol, the Tidus and I would then set ablaze for an awesome effect. It would mostly be Tidus though, since my fire is white.
The parade began about ten minutes after the briefing. It was the moment of truth, our float was up next. I can’t fucking believe this . I did my best not to laugh at the Irony of this shit. Eris, did you have anything to do with this?
“Well of course I did, sweetness. Now keep doing you….Storm look out.!” I doge what appears to be a gigantic motherfucking tail. Peering in with my draconic vision for a better look at what it belonged to. Oh fuck me sideways, It’s a sky Serpent!
Gathering as much strength as I could to shout in the royal Canterlot voice, I cried. “Sky Serpent!!!!!” That got the parade goers to fly away for safety. No one in the sky was safe from these things, not even dragons. I turn to Tidus, it was time for me to cowboy up and do gain what I damn well knew my cutie mark would be. Excessive violence in the name of defense. Problem with sky serpents is they don’t stop till they drop. “Tidus, lets rock! The guard can’t handle this shit! Kicker, please get Dash and Lining the fuck out of here and don’t come back. Foals should not see what me and Tidus are about to do to this flying sushi platter!” Kicker did as a said and ran with the girls. Dash put up some resistance, until she saw murder in my eyes.
“I feel more like fried eel though, Storm! But that things got thick armor!” Tidus said in a little bit of worry.
“Don’t worry my friend, I’ll be taking point! I’ve picked up a new bag of tricks since last we met! Just be ready to light it up when I say to.” Tidus nodded in understanding. As soon as our battle began, music started playing. “Fuck yeah!” I cried as I leapt, or in this case dove into action with Tidus on my 6 high. Spinning in a corkscrew, I picked up speed and flew and spread my ink around the overgrown Unagi and shot up in the air before i could be chomped on. That would hurt a lot. Healing factor or no.
“Light em up Tidus!” The two of us sent a flurry of flame down on the serpent. Stopping when we saw the damage had been done to it’s armor plating. I coulda just hacked away at it, but someone would get hurt. Casualties are a no go for me right now. “Let’s get in there and do some serious damage!”
“Let’s do this!” Tidus cried, ready for that things blood.
Tidus sunk his claws in the back and tore a small chunk out, oh it didn’t like that at all. Tidus got smacked by the tail in an upwards motion. That thing was gonna eat him! I needed to save my friend. I was hauling ass going at breakneck paces. I couldn’t boom here, the aftermath would cause windows to shatter and debri to spread and hurt innocent bystanders that fled for safety. My axe blades weren’t gonna cut it. I needed more distance and I also needed power. That’s when it hit me, I need a katana. Extending and folding my bone blades gave me just that. It hurt for a bit, but that passed quickly. My bones blades were now in my claws via my wrist.
I barely made it to Tidus on time and the unagi just snapped up some cloud. He was out of it. I left him to a higher up cloud and descended take on the ugly fucker. Hopefully Tidus would join me soon, he looked like he was coming to as I began my descent. Much to my chagrin, the dumbass guard tried to combat the beast. “Get out of here! You’re not warriors, you’re peacekeepers!” The fact that I was a draconic and soaked in its blood made my words ring in their ears. They were gone.
It was time for me to cut away at this bitch piece by piece. I made short work of its tail thanks to my katana mode. Doing another swirl, I blew fire at the Unagi once more. Only this was more powerful thanks to my mixing the ink and slime together. Ink plus slime equals boom . Unfortunately for me, I was getting a little dizzy since I was constantly doing this move while flying around its danger zones. I was doing good until the fuck got my leg as I was saving a fallen guard. It gnawed at my constantly regenerating flesh and indestructible bone. “RUN!!” I screamed at the guard, still feeling the gut wrenching pain of having my leg torn to pieces by one of the few things that are strong enough to bite through my scales. She obliged and took a swit leave.
“Let me go, you FUCKER.! I’LL EAT YOU FOR DINNER! I cried as I attempted to slash or poke it’s eyes out. But the damn thing was actually smart about this and constantly thrashed me around trying to do something that not even it could do to me. It was trying to tear my leg off. This thing didn’t want a meal at this point, it wanted me to hurt! every time I landed a blow, it was too weak or too shallow due to lack of centrifuge.
I thought I’d be it’s chew toy for a while. Until a massive fireball struck the thing right in the kisser! It’s jaw loosened enough for me to do something about it I was sick and tired of this bitch so I flew right in to it mouth and bashed its teeth in with my axe mode. Then I flew out of it’s mouth and switched back to katana mode and flew to the ionosphere. Motioning myself downwards, I boomed while corkscrewing letting out my most fearsome roar. Tidus kept it busy with fireballs but moved when he saw my whirlwind of death. I went straight through the unagi’s head. Needless to say there was no longer a head left, but TIdus and I would have a fucking feast.
Tidus flew down to me with surprise and concern in his eyes. “Holy shit, bro! You obliterated that thing!” He backed away a bit, I was still in kill mode. We both look up at the jumbotron to notice that the whole fucking fight was televised. How’d they even shoot this shit? Must’ve shot with special zoom lenses or magic amplifiers. My family flew right to me.
“Storm, are you okay!” All three of them asked in unison. They weren’t asking if I was okay as in still hurt. They all knew about my healing factor. They also knew that pain lingers for a bit
“I’m fine, I’m just a little hungry.” I said icily while sheathing my blades. Tidus tossed me a piece of the unagi and I grilled it a bit then swallowed it whole. Taking a breath to remove my murderous expression, I walk to Tidus. “Thanks for the fireball man, you got me out of a painful situation.” I patted him on the back and he just shrugged.
“It was the least I could do, brother. You did save me from being it’s lunch.”
It took a bit to reassure everyone (except Tidus) that I was just fine. Tidus said he’d have some of his people send me some of that meat. That did save me the time of gathering it myself. It’s not like it would sink anytime soon. It’s a fucking sky serpent (even though it looks more like an unagi).
“Storm Shadow, you might want to look at your flank.” Prism informed me. At what I already knew, I got a cutie mark and most likely a violent one. On my flak was what looked like my sonic corkscrew formed next to clouds. Great so I am the Dragoon whose drill will pierce the heavens! Eris gave me a mental slap for that one
“A cutie mark is no laughing matter, Storm. Look upon it with pride, for it is who you are!” Eris stated with clear outrage in her voice.
I know all that, I was just making a little joke that’s all. But still, I’ve got a mark that can only mean one thing violence.
“Yes, but violence can be used to protect those you hold dear, dear! So remember that okay?”
The sound of someone clearing their throat broke the ice. That pony was none other than the mayor, Heavy Rain, who was accompanied by the alabaster goddess! Oh sweet Celestia, literally! I went back to all fours as the princess and the mayor came forth to meet me. If I didn’t know better I say she was about to slap me in irons (she saw what I did to the Unagi, that wasn’t happening). Eris once again slapped some sense into me. Alright miss chaos and disarray, I’ll be serious about this.
The show only captured a fraction of her beauty! If I hadn’t made love to Eris, I would be in full “I’m not worthy” mode. However I remembered one thing, I am a citizen of Equestria, but not one of her subjects. I swore no fealty to this gorgeous woman before me. “Heavy, Princess” I say their names in small acknowledgement. All maws but Tidus Celestia and mine were agape.
Celestia chuckled at my nonchalance. “Greeting, Sir Storm Shadow. That was quite the bout you had there, It was so grotesque but was indeed an epic fight. I was tempted to have it censored, but that would do you no justice. Afterall, you gained you cutie mark from this battle.”
I raised an eyebrow at her. “SIr Storm Shadow? No disrespect but I don’t recall swearing fealty to you, or being knighted for that matter.” This time all eyes went wide except mine and Celestia’s
She smirked at my statement. “Heh, I suppose not. My little Dragoon. You fought like a champion and you are but a school colt!” I gagged at the mention of my technical age, even though the body fit it. My agitation must’ve been clear at my face. “I’m sorry, did I offend you. Young hero.” Celestia asked in honest concern, now I see why the ponies worship her.
“It’s nothing, mam. Just that though a school colt I may be, my mind is that of a teenage colt. I know Equestria knows almost nothing of dragons and even less about dragoons. So keep this in mind. We mentally age differently than our draconic kin.” She nodded her head in understanding “
“You there, Prism Lilly!” Prism eeped and shot up at attention at Celestia’s mention of her. “He is registered as staying in your abode, may I have a word with our hero?” Prism just nodded her head, suddenly short on words to give the princess. “Come with me, young one.” She took me into her wing as we walked away from the scene.
“If you want a conversation, we should leave here or you could put up a bubble of silence.” She did just that and our conversation began.
“You, Storm Shadow have skills. Skills I think would be better honed in the guard academy.” So this was what she wanted. Well I had planned to meet Celestia eventually, but it was a little soon. “Your mark represents a shining power gleaming in the darkness, ready to pierce it. Please consider my offer.” I let the cogs in my head turn. Thinking about what I should do.
“Fine, but I skipped the academy completely!” Celestia began to protest but stopped. “I’m trained better than those idiots at the guard and I won’t subject myself to being anywhere near snot nosed brats still on their momma’s teat. If I go into any guard, it’s gonna be the royal one. You want me on your team, so take it or leave it. And I want a ticket to the GGG, I’ve always wanted to go at least once” Celly blinked in wonder that I a twenty (10) year old dragoon was wheeling and dealing her.
“Very well on all accounts. However with your obvious skills and the display you made on national television, you’ll have a target on your back. So are you sure you don’t want in the academy, where I can offer you some protection from that?”
I didn’t even think about it. “No offense princess, but I’m fuckmothering dragoon and any pony stupid enough to try to step to me will get what’s coming to em. While I won’t hurt them, I will hurt their pride. I can guarantee you that I have superior training to your basic guard. So the academy would be a waste of both our time.”
Celestia agreed, having seen how I handled myself. It usually takes a battalion of pony guards to deal with sky serpent or unagi as I had deemed them. And even then there’s usually a casualty rate.Getting past their armor was a pain in the ass. I could see her feelings giving in to me demands. After all with some more intense training (I admit I need a bit more), I’d be an asset.
“I will see you at the gala in two months time then. Your training will begin the following week. I will be a pleasure having you serve. Until next we meet, have fun with the media!” And like that she turned off the regal and became Trollestia. This is going to be a bitch. Jasmin Lense, here i come!
Mayor Mare… Rain. Damn it Eris, stop fucking with my head when I’m trying to think! scheduled the party to the for two days later. It’s amazing that no matter how much damage is done in equestria, It always gets fixed or mostly fixed within a few days. I tossed that one into because magic pile and carried on. The party was more of a thank you Storm and Tidus for saving our weak little asses because Celestia knows we can’t do it ourselves party. I haven’t even met Pinkie and I’m starting to channel her. What the anal fuck without lube!
I was just happy that I was allowed to bring my entire entourage consisting of Gilda, d'Artagnan, Nocturne, Loving, Tender, and the other three with me.Celestia was there once again. Eating...pie. Oh that will not stand. I looked around the table and there was no cake in site. My guess is the cake shop got hit by the Unagi.
Eris, I need a cake. But not just any cake, Delicious Cake!”
“Well, excuse me for not being younger!” Eris cried in mock anger.
Ya done? I asked
“Yes love, I am. You want a cake, you’ll have to come here and bake it!” Eris pulled me into the grotto or more specifically the kitchen. “Get in the kitchen and bake me something!” She hollered, I’d be mad if she were serious. How in the hell did she know I knew how to...oh right she’s got a line to my mind! She didn’t even bother smacking me for that one, I beat her to it. I took my time since time is heavily distorted in the grotto.Time is relative here, so i assumed the few hours I needed to bake and prepare the cake was a few milliseconds there.
As I made the rum buttercream icing for two cakes (yes I actually made her a cake), I could feel my body walking ever closer to the table. With both cakes finished, I iced Eris’ fist. It read. “For you, my chaotic love and goddess!” I even put a heart at the end. I gave Eris a quick (passionate) kiss and boom, I was back in the waking world. I looked at my claws to notice the most delicious cherry-banana cake with buttercream icing lied in a D-box just waiting to be bashed on.
I walked up to my respective spot next to Celestia and Heavy, keeping the cake a secret as long as I could. Which turns out wasn’t that long “I sense a disturbance in the force!” Celestia muttered to herself. How does she even know that one!
“Hello again, Celestia. I bring you a gift!” I put the box down in front of her and cut the edges with my claws to reveal the cake. It looked delicious but it read “Here ya go, Celly! Enjoy!” I whipped the part that said “Fatass” off with a talon before anyone could see that. Celly gave me a sour look at taking first dibs on the cake.
Celestia had first taste of my confectionery orgasm in your mouth. Her eyes went wide with joy. I found myself very proud of my work. “This...this is delicious. I was told the local cake shop was unoperational!”
That is when a massive toothy grin went on my face. “I’m glad you like it, Celly. I baked it myself!” Everyones eyes went wide at my statement, even Celestia.

The only difference is these guys could put up a fight, they were royal guard after all. The girls were only a small bit irked that I had to be in Canterlot this early. But they dropped it since we’ll be there in roughly ten minutes. Cloudsdale was about a four hour flight from canterlot, but I’d have the girls there in about ten minutes thanks to my speed.
The only part that kept me waiting was the girls. About ten minutes after I was strapped in and ready, the girls came in and loaded their bags in the back and took their seats. “Keh. Thank you for riding Air Storm. Please remain seated at all times and buckle up. Don’t forget to keep you appendages in the car at all times. Look in front of you and you’ll see popcorn for and a bottle of juice for you enjoyment. As per your request, we will be docking at the B junction so you ladies will have your choice of restaurants ranging from Donut Joe’s to IHOW and Pancake House.”
The girls would be flying home without me. I started training tomorrow and I’d be moving into the castle for that purpose. Celestia and I had grown close in the last two months. We were sending each other letters via dragon fire. Her latest one displayed her giddiness that her friend would be joining her to make her time at the gala less boring. I’d be spending the entire day leading up to the event with her, so this was going to be fun. Even if I’d only see ponies try to kiss Celly’s glorious golden cutie marked ass. Down boy, midflight is not the time to have a hardon!
As soon as I dropped the girls off to get their breakfast and meet their respective dates, I was gone baby gone. Well as fast as I can go in a docking area (about 30 Mph). I couldn’t get out of that dock fast enough as a made a direct jet to the castle booming well above city level so it was obvious that I was coming. The area near the castle is a no fly zone to civilians. Slowing down as my slime trail became clearly obvious. Celly said she informed the aerial patrol about me in advance. I really hope that wasn’t her trolling me, because that wouldn’t be pretty for me.
True to her word, or rather words. The patrol met me halfway to the castle. They lead me into the castle and to the ballroom, where Celly was waiting for me. As I had asked them, we entered without making a sound and Celly was busy speaking with the some important looking...Holy shit, it’s a doe! And she’s fucking hot! Their backs were turned to us I signaled the patrolmen to be quiet and they seemed to like where I was going with this.
“Security for the gala I prepared, your highness. Our sweeps turned nothing suspicious!” The doe declared to Celly in a serious manner.
“Excellent, Sergeant Doe! Hopefully the gala will go without a hitch!” Oh you lying little bitch you want there to be a hitch!
Moving forward with on the ceiling my ninja skills and not my wings (i didn’t want to fuck up a perfect opportunity), I walk to about the middle of them. Now one thing is true everywhere I go. The big birds in the sky never look up. I took that moment to hop down and land between the two of them. “You were saying something about there being no suspicion, Miss Jane Doe?” Celestia snickered and Sgt. Doe
“How in tartarus did you know my name, boy!” Sweet, I was right. I couldn’t stop laughing at GI Jane Doe. Mustn’t say it...mustn't say it! “Wait a tick, you’re that bloke! The hero of Cloudsdale!” Heavy had given me the title and it stuck since I kept saving the city from various things. It was mostly crime that I ended up busting though. But what can I say...I’m the best at what I do!
Celly cleared her throat and got Jane to stand at attention. I on the other hand, was slouching a bit. I’m not in the guard yet! “Sergeant Doe, I would like you to meet your new Corporal! Storm Shadow is a friend of mine and has been since his debut to the public. He has a background in the Draconic army in Japan and Equestria and was ranked Major. I’m sure you can imagine my surprise when he requested a fresh start in one of his letters.” Jane was just looking at me mouthing “major, majorly unbelieveable” Celly heard that and put a little ice in her statement. Celly went on about hoping the two of us could get along and the importance of my smooth integration. With what could’ve been a discussion with a kind ruler turned into a “fuck this up and you’re a private” conversation. Celestia really didn’t like her SGT. badmouthing her friend. Doe gulped from the tension.
I took the time to eye her up and I could tell that she didn’t have a stick up her ass. That however didn’t me that she wouldn’t throw the book at me if I fucked up. Another thing I noticed was she wasn’t wearing armor. She’s rocking tactical combat armor and had some battle scars. Looking at her gave me even more clarity. Hold the phone, she’s way too seasoned to be a SGT!
“I’m not in the normal royal guard, am I?” Both of them had evil smirks on their faces. My theory on SGT Doe was correct. She was SGT but she was more seasoned than your typical one. When I agreed to join a few months ago, Celly wasted no time in listing me as an asset and making sure I ended up in the Sol Guard, Her special ops defence force for when the guard is overwhelmed. The guard was the shield while the sol guard was the sword. While this was just an extension of the guard, I wouldn’t be wasting my time guarding a gate! I was in strikeforce, fuck yes! I just found it funny that I haven’t even started yet and I’m already a fucking Corporal
“If you think you’ll get any respect in my unit for being a vigilante , think again. You’re a CPL, so you won’t have to worry about your subordinates but expect some heat from our superiors. Especially when you move into the barracks.”
“He won’t be staying at the barracks, he’s staying in the solar wing as my ward.” Celly just dropped a bomb. She turned to face me and grinned. You fucking troll! Doe gave me a “good luck kid” look as she was dismissed by Celly, the queen of the trolls.
“Your ward, really! You do know that now I’m gonna have to deal with ass kissers and soldiers with chips on their shoulders. Great what am I gonna do next time I see Colonel Night Light. Your student, his daughter doesn’t even have quarters in solar suite!” Well in her defense, the girl has her own fucking warded tower so she doesn’t blow shit up. She just giggled at my predicament. I try to keep my anger but that giggle is fucking cheating! She’s too cute to be mad at right now. How do stallions ever win an argument?
She brought me in for a hug, using her wings as well. “I’m sorry for not telling you sooner Storm. But even if I hadn’t done that, they would have found out about your lineage in the Draconic Empire.” She said while nuzzling me a bit. “I’m just happy we can see each other more than twice a week!” Celly cried in excitement. Yeah, we can rendezvous more often now that I work in the guard and live like twenty feet away in the suite she had been preparing for me for the last month. Solar wing, occupants two.
“Okay point taken. Watashi wa akirameru, I give up! Since I’m sure you have things to do before the gala, I’m going to pay Twilight a visit. I want to make sure she’s been following my advice in taking care of the hatchling. I still haven’t seen the cute yet, so meeting it should be fun.” I jumped out of the window and flew straight into Twilight’s tower. I was immediately assaulted with by a gust of fire. Looks like someone’s didn’t list to my advice.
Fire was everywhere, of course it was being killed by wards I found it fascinating to just watch the little thing blow fire like crazy. It was fun to watch until I got belted in the face by a fireball. It didn’t hurt me, but that was still annoying. Twilight looked like a mother after her baby’s been crying for hours. Here it comes. “Help me!”
I walk to little walk to the hatchling that I would know as spike. I don’t know why Celestia wouldn’t let me get the things name in a letter. It would be nice so I could just say it instead of coming up with some ridiculous excuse like “I speak baby” (no offense to the Doctor) I mean I knew full well that the hatchling was a boy and his name was Spike.
I make a small fire in my mouth, careful not to blow it. The hatchling crawled right to me. Daw, he’s so cute! As soon as Spike got to me I picked him...son of a bitch! One thing was clear as soon as I picked the hatchling up. This wasn’t Spike it was Barb!
“I told you your presence would cause some changes, didn’t I” Eris said, clearly happy that my presence had made another clear change in Equestria.
Yes I guess you did, didn’t you. Eris fades in a her trademark laugh. “Now, have you been giving your sister trouble Barb!” She looked at me innocently. Twilight asked me what was wrong with her. “I’ll tell you what’s wrong, you fed her a fucking gem!” I made a point in growling and roaring at her. She knew damn well that Barab wasn’t due for solid food for another month. What is with this girl and experimenting. “I’ll be caring for Bbarb until she can talk. It’s clear that I could never have trusted you to care for a hatchling.”
Twilight cringed at my statement, damn do I ever feel like a dick. “But Storm, I didn’t feed her a gem! Cadence did!” Oh, I’ll be having a talk with that pretty pink pony princess! Patting Twilight on the head, I apologized to her. I really shouldn’t have yelled at her.
Barb couldn’t digest solid food yet, so it went right back up. Not as vomit, but as a flurry of flames. I notice a small flame hadn’t been put out by the wards. I took to the air with Barb in hand and flung my wings, allowing the bioluminescent powder stored within my wings to take out the flame. Twilight makes a comment about wanting to study me and I coldly tell her it could wait. She begged for another chance at taking care of Barb as I prepped to leave. Call me a softy, I gave her that chance. I was never going to leave with Barb anyway!
“Take this, I wrote it just for you, so it doesn’t exist anywhere else. I trust you to keep it that way. Don’t deviate from it and if there’s anything you need help with have Celly summon me.”I handed her the book I wrote for her. She smiled at having an exclusive book. That smile turned into a slight frown when she saw the title “Hatchling Care 4 Foals”. “Make Cadence read it while you’re at it. Since she insist on “helping” you care for Barb” Twily put on a maniacal grin. She may love Cadence like the sister she’s going to be in a few years, but she made me yell at her! I could feel it in her emotions.
“Good news is you'll both have easier access to me because.” I pause for a dramatic effect. “You are now looking at CPL Storm Shadow of the sol guard! And the best part is that I’m staying in the solar wing”
Twilight’s eye’s light up at my news. She was jumping up and down. Wait for it, wait for it! “The solar wing?! That means you’re going to practically be living with the princess! She told me she was working on a surprise that I’d like but I didn’t think it would be this!” Twilight’s character didn’t change much. The only reason I’m this close with her is...SCIENCE! I had an engineering background as well so I fixed shit up as it broke. So when I found her working on a device and it failed, I just couldn’t help but fix it for her. One thing led to another and I was exchanging letters with her almost as much as I was wit Celly. I had to visit her and have a good talk every time I paid Celly a visit.
I waited for the jumping and squealing to stop, but damn fillies are just to cute! My eyes trailed to places it probably shouldn’t but I couldn’t help it. It was just giggling in my face. I almost felt shame at getting a rise out of seeing Twilight shake it. Then I reminded myself of one thing. She’s a filly and I am (technically) a colt. Thankfully I’ve got more control than a colt, otherwise I’d have to have a talk with Twily. I wonder where Cadence is.
“Twilight, I’ve brought some more fire wards! Did you ever find out what’s causing Barb to do this?” Cadence paused as soon as she saw me, most likely a vision of the lashing to come.
Putting Barb in her bed and activating a localized sound barrier, I walked up to the pink fool while giving her my best “you’re in trouble” look. “YOU FED HER GEMS?! What were you thinking, she could’ve burned through those wards faster than you can say fire extinguisher. If I hadn’t been here, twilight would have been in serious trouble!” I told them both about the stray ember. Then I inform them that the fire of a hatchling is highly volatile and if fueled by gems could burn a hole through say, the fucking tower we’re in! Not to forget that poor Barb could have gotten seriously ill.
The girls (Cadence more so) hung their heads in shame. It was about then that Twilight remembered my gift, the grin was back. Walking to the bookshelf, she handed her foalsitter and friend the book I wrote for her. “Read up! Unless you want Storm to give you a remedial course, that is!” Eris added a little something to the book that I approved of, a crack at Cadence. When Cadence opened the book, a projection of me appeared.. “Hatchling Care 4 Foals. Cadence, you best read the whole book, lest you do something stupid like feed the poor thing gems a full month too early!” She gave me a” how did you know” look and I just brushed it off. I put a projection of me stating care facts to calm Barb down. Eris was also ever so kind as to change any mention of Spike to Barb. I’ve learned my lesson in making assumptions.
Looking out the window, I could see 2LT Shining armor running through the course again in an attempt to break his record, again! I decide to let the girls “Read” the book I had stored in a crystal with a holo reader. I think I did a good job with that one. The record reader wasn’t portable a few months ago, but with time I made the one Twilight now has and she has a few crystals that she can view in the comfort of her room. I’ll work on mass production as soon as it gets more popular. I’m just glad I made the right choice in the look i went with, a book!
Announcing my exit, I leave the way I came. Only this time I banked left to the field to give Shining a greeting. I’ve been coming to the castle for the weekends for two months and I’ve only hung out with Shining a few times. Haven’t seen him in with the colt. Hell I’ve even met Nightlight and Twilight velvet (MILF) but today, I’d talk with the colt. You don’t become the captain of the guard by being antisocial.
“Yo, Shiny. Still trying to beat your old record huh?” Shining Armor turned to face me. He looked perturbed at my using his pet name, but being friends of both Twilight and Cadence gives me the right!
The prick just turns his back and gets back to hitting the pavement. “Shining Armor, that’s no way to treat a friend!” That deliciously smooth voice could only belong to one mare, Twilight Velvet. “I know you’re trying to impress your father by breaking your old record, but you should take some time to acknowledge your friend. So apologize!” Velvet sternly said, stomping her forehooves on the ground. Oh that got him whimpering.
“No apology necessary, ma’am. Your boy’s got his eyes on the prize and I don’t see a point in reprimanding him for it.” I turn to Shining. “But if you ever want to have friends than just me and not just subordinates that put you on a pedestal, I suggest you pull that stick out of your ass, sir.” I say while saluting him. He may not be able to pull rank on me since we’re two different branches of guard but he’s still a 2LT and that earned him some respect.
“Noted, uh.” What, did this fool hit his head or something? “Corporal Storm Shadow. Welcome to the guard buddy!” He gave me a bro hug. I can’t believe I fell for his little I don’t care act. “My dad told me.” The question must have been on my face or something. From what I can tell, there’s no way he’s breaking that record if he keeps pushing it like this. He needs to relax!
“That’s only half the news, bro! Celestia just named me as her ward and I’m staying in a the new suite in the solar wing starting tomorrow.” Both their jaws dropped.
“Prepare for hazing, bro.” Shining informed me. Considering my rank all that’s gonna happen is an officer’s may take his frustration out on me. I’m one of the most powerful beings in Equestria, I think I can handle a little verbal abuse.
“Come now, it can’t be that bad!” Velvet shook her head in disbelief. Shining and I just face hoofed/clawed. For a guard mom and wife, this mare is so naive. I time to smack some sense into her.
“Velvet, I’m going to be announced as the ward to the princess at the Gala. Let’s not forget that I’ll be sworn in as a CPL of the sol guard then as well. You know how nobles behave in canterlot?” Velvet shook her head. “Well imagine a nittier gritter version of it, only these guys only want to break you to prove that you are absolutely worthless and your nobility means even less than you do!” She shied away, took me a second to realize what I was doing. Shining was even cowering (it was in his eyes not his body) “I’m sorry, I let my emotions get the better of me there.” I say while hugging Velvet.
“You feel better though, right hon?” Now that I think about it yes, I do. She let me vent at what was going to happen. “So they’ll try and break you, just don’t let them! Show them what happens when the get on the bad side of a dragoon!” She was grinning at the last part. Fear was no longer present and love was in its place. I took that time to get it out of my system right now...I cried it out, not wanting to she a single emotion at the fools that were bound to give me shit. Shining went back to the course to give Velvet and I some privacy. She just sat there and let me cry in her fur, petting and cooing at me the whole time. She saw me as I was at the moment, a lost little colt.
I hadn’t cried in a long time. Now that I think about it, I hadn’t cried since I lost tou san. Meaning the pain and anguish had been in me for almost twenty years. “mommy” I murmured in Velvet’s loving bosom.
“Shh, it’s alright baby. Just let out. Let it all out. Momma’s here” Velvet continued to comfort me. Then something I should have seen coming happened. Cadence and Twilight along with Barb joined in on the comforting me. I could sense Shining, but he left it to the emotional part to the mares. After about a minute of that, I felt better. “DId you get it out of your system, Stom?” Velvet asked in a motherly tone. I nodded my head.
“Storm!” All eyes turned to Barb. Suddenly, I’m glad that this change was made. She’s just too cute! Barb climbed onto my back and tried to clamp into my back. Dragons usually have spikes, but I don’t have them. Focusing on my spine, I try to extend it like I do with my blades, nothing. It’s a good thing to. I wouldn’t want herself on my blades! Barb grabbed my back and clamped to it and took a small nap, on me using some type of magic magnetism. So that’s how it worked! Every time I asked the Dragonesses in the pride the just said “You’ll find out when you’re older”. That is by far the most annoying answer in the world!
Cadence hands me the baby bag I made for bard out of my own feathers. “There’s plenty of guava in there but she prefers the mango mix you make her. I attempted replicating it, but of nothing. She spits it out in my face and goes for the guava!” No one bothers shushing her, once a hatchling takes a nap they’re out. Laughing at her predicament, I motion to the kitchen. The girls follow me and Velvet keeps cheering on her son.
One does not simply walk into the royal kitchen, they walk in like it’s their fucking birthright! I received a warm welcome from the dogs and griffons that resided in the kitchen. I make good food and share, so yeah they’d like me! I was in on of my preferred elements, a kitchen! All was right.
The girls on the other hand, were a little disturbed. I had brought them into the kitchen for meat eaters! And they were no doubt working on the platter for those who partook, it smelled delicious. Never so quickly have I left a kitchen. Twilight almost puked at the smell of cooking meat. Now that I’m in a kitchen that they should be comfortable with, I give them the ingredients for the mix. I gave Barab a little pat and she sighed in comfort. There’s nothing better for a hatchling than to sleep on an older dragon.
When The ingredients were ready for me, I diced them and put them in the blender. The mix was almost done it was just missing one thing, the very thing that they couldn’t replicate. Placing the contents in an enchanted container. I placed it to my mouth and released a small white flame. Now that it was simmering, I decided to pour some into a bottle (again custom made by me for her) and wake Barb up to give her some food. Funny thing is this ain’t baby formula, it’s my draconic protein shake! Albeit with minus a few key ingredients that she can’t process yet. Waking her was easy enough, I just unlatched her from her comfy place.
She woke up seconds later, smelled the goodness and demanded it with a cute little roar. “Calm down, sister. I’m giving it to you now.” I gently say to Barb as she began whining. As soon as the bottle was to her mouth, she devoured it.
“Sister?” Both Twily and Candy asked me. I got to explaining that Dragons (in the empire at least, I don’t know or care for the dogs of the kingdom) share an ancestral kinship at some point in time. So when I called Barb sister, I meant so in spirit. Twily was excited about learning something new about dragons (the Empire’s at least). Candy was more happy to see me caretaking a hatchling. She didn’t like me at first for my lustful nature and exceedingly violent cutie mark and no, that’s not a double negative. She hated my ass for the first couple of visits, until she caught me studying with Twilight. Needless to say Celestia also gave her the true interpretation of my cutie mark. It may be one of my kill moves, but a sword can be used in defence and that was what it truly meant. Defending what I care for come hell or highwater!
As soon as her bottle was done, Barb went back into her slumber. While I was enjoying spending time with the girls, I had other things to do. LIke getting ready to stand and greet nobles with Celly, yay.
It was time for me to don the blue hoodie (silk) and white jacket (denim), I thought I make a classic (that Equestria has never know) my own and I think the white and blue made an amazing comparison to my scales. Hell, I’m just glad my tailor and a friend that moved from the empire to Fillydelphia to set up business didn't make too much of a fuss when I told her it was my Gala Outfit. She didn’t deviate from the design I drew her. Shit, she even gave hoodie a tie that extended from the neck. Nice work Matoi Ryuuko! “I look pimp in this shit!” I declare from my guest room (Celly won’t let me see my room until after the gala).
“Yes, you do look quite ‘pimp’ Storm. Now are you ready to go we have to be there before the gala opens to the public.” I nod her an affirmative and steel myself to go. Then I get a good look at her Dress. Thee dress itself was gorgeous But what really got me was the color. Black, Celly was wearing black!
“You talked with my tailor, didn’t you?” She didn’t even deny it, not like I asked for nondisclosure. And I don’t blame Ryuuko for informing her, a royal design would be the highlight of her career. The dress matched my theme, she looked like it was inspired by the 1930’s the sun was a big pattern on it and the lacing was extravagant. “Copycat!” Celly stuck her tongue out at me. “But it does look damn good on you. Ryuuko did some good work! Give me a spin.” She did a spin for me, she looked awesome and I spared no effort in telling her that!
With the both of us ready to party, we made our way to the ballroom. No one but the staff and the Band was there. I take that back there was another pony setting up something on one of the stages. Speakers, this filly was setting up sound equipment. Giving her another good look, I noticed she was a white unicorn with a two-toned blue mane and her flank was blank. It couldn’t be...could it?
“Excuse me miss, but is your name Vinyl Scratch?” I ask once again, fuck subtlety.
The filly gave me the once over right quick. “Does she owe you money or something?” The filly, that by this point I’m sure is Vinyl asks. I know where this is going!
“No, she does not. I was just hoping to see or rather hear her drop some bass tonight. I don’t know if you know, but for the most important dance in Equestria, this shit is boring as all fuck!”
“Storm Shadow!” Celly heard my statement but her angry face changed to a goofy grin. “Yes, you’re right it is.” She whispered in a tone that only my ears would pick up.
“Dude, you just dissed the GGG in front of the princess, that’s hardcore! There’s no way I’d owe anyone like you money, so yeah I'm Vinyl Scratch!” She jostles her glasses a bit. Too bad she’s trying to hide those beautiful red eyes. Yeah, I’m one to talk about hiding!
“Yeah and did you notice that all she did was yell at me a bit. I’m her escort for this shindig. Wait until the end and you’ll hear something good about me too, you won’t believe it!” She already looked like she didn’t believe me, so I went up to Celly and kissed her on the cheek. That earned me a small blush from her and a dropped jaw from Vinyl. So bass ain’t the only thing she can drop. Once again my eyes went for the flanks of the now working Vinyl. I snapped out of it before Celly caught me and walked up to the Band. “You guys practice what I gave you?” They gave me the affirmative, excellent. We’re gonna play something fun but it won’t be Johnny b goode! SGT Doe was standing at attention doing yet another perimeter check, this must be her first gala. As I walk up to her, the doors open and the ponies slowly flood the room. It was time for me to take my place next to Celly, her speech was coming up soon!
She gave the basic “Welcome to the gala and have fun” speech, so I tuned out that part. “Everypony” Ugh that word! “It is with the utmost pleasure that I introduce you all to my young ward Storm Shadow. He will be a member of the Sol Guard as of tomorrow!” Great and here come the whispers. The worst part is I can hear all of them!
“What is the princess thinking, adopting a monster such as that!” one of them whispered to either themselves or a compatriot, I don’t really care what these foalish ponies think about me. They’d soon be eating their words once they’ve had a taste of my power. I hear another one making me sound like some sort of pet project. Celestia must know that not all of her little ponies are as into love and tolerate as she thinks.
Not even ten minutes after the gala had commenced, we started reciveing asskissers, I mean wellwihsers. It was funny when the monster lady and husband got to us, I noticed their voices. “Next time you call someone a pet or a monster, remember that they can probably hear you.” I inform the couple while giving a toothy grin. They were fighting the urge to piss themselves. Celly even made them apologize and the frosting on the cake was the “I’m disappointed in you look she gave them” I wanted to remember their faces, so I took a good look. Holy shit, its Jetset and Upper Crust! No wonder I didn’t like them from the second the stepped up!
Most of the ponies we greeted were ones I didn’t know. Then something made my night, Prism and Maxi came up. “Prism, Maxi It’s good to see you!” I say as I’m shaking his hoof and I wanted to hug, if not kiss Prism but that wouldn’t go well for me.
“So, you’re the princess’ ward nod are you? That’s amazing news!” Maxi cried, happy for my step up in life. Prism however was a different case. I could feel the sorrow in her and a touch of anguish.
“Sir may I steal a dance with you date. I won’t be able to see her for a month after tomorrow.” Maxi gives me the okay and I fly to a higher level with Prism onto the balcony. “You’re not losing me, it’ll be the reverse of how it’s been since now. Nothing in the world could keep me to from seeing you and Dash, not even Celestia. You know that right?” That made the tears and the doubt stop. We finished our dance in mid air. Landing down on the balcony where Maxi was waiting, I let go of Prism and fly back to Celly to greet ponies for another hour before it was showtime.
Placing my hood upon my head, I took flight to the center stage. The band and the small crew I had prepared (Tidus, d’Artagnan, And Unique) were ready to roll. As soon as I touched down on stage the act began. We performed Smooth Criminal, with the full choreography. We killed it. It took us a while to pull off the anti gravity lean in practice, but we nailed it in the performance. The common ponies were eating it up. They loved us. The upper crust (no pun intended) had mixed reviews. Until hooves started stomping for a standing o! I looked around for the inciter of the riot and it was non other than motherfucking Fancy Pants, albeit a much younger version. So I guess he’s about five to ten years older than Fluer, because she’s nowhere to be seen. Even in his young twenties he’s still got the juice in Canterlot.
We went with the song we had prepared, Beat it! Handing a audio record jem to Vinyl, the crew and I get ready to jam. The crew however wasn't’ expecting Cadence to get on stage and duet the song with me! Just like we planned. The first time she heard me singing Beat It, she fell in love with the song. I really didn’t think she’d like that song but oh well. Her voice was dazzling, so it made me happy I can change my vocal cords a bit. Not saying that’s what I did though. No one had ever really heard her sing before, so that got rid of all the neighsayers (pun intended)
“That was a sick beat, Vinyl! You’ve definitely got a fan in me” Must resist urge sing Friend Like Me! Good news was I didn’t sing it. Cadence and I went back to our respective places while the band changed their instruments for a waltz. Flying back to where I once was Cellly hugged when I landed.
“That was an amazing performance! You even got my niece to sing in public!” Celly was elated.
“Yeah that wasn’t easy. When she heard me singing, she started singing with me when we had the time. I got her to do this since it was her favourite out of all the songs I sang. As soon as I told her I was doing this for you, she was in. I’m glad you’re happy Celly” I held out my claw and she grabbed it. We waltzed on the dance floor. Every pony cleared the way for us. Shining gave me a brohoof for dancing with the princess. It’s sad that I can honestly say that no one else would have done this. Celestia’s too wonderful and beautiful to be alone like this. No more I say! She has me now, a friend that cares for her unconditionally. Who knows, maybe in time deeper feelings could arise?
Some eyes were filled with shock and other awe that the princess was on the dance floor and with me no less. After we got two good long waltzes in. I can’t believe it, the gala’s almost over without incident. By the ancestors, when the fuck am I gonna learn not to tempt the fucking fates!

The bands instruments were playing a melody of their own and specters appeared out of thin air! Ponies ran away in mass numbers. “Celly, you need to get out of here!” she hesitated for a moment “CELESTIA, BUNKER, NOW.” That snapped her out of it and She left, allowing the sol guard (thank you for being paranoid SGT) do their job.
Doe walked up to me with an asking look. “The present is in the box, ma’am!” I saluted my superior.
“Good work CPL, wanna punch in early?” Did she even need to ask me?
Taking off my clothes and putting them in a safe place, I run into the fray with Doe. Doe was bucking and piercing the specters with her legs and lance while I was getting my pyro on. White flames are as strong as black ones so the burned just the same.! Sadly enough, the unicorns had either gone to secure the VIP (Celestia) or were in charge of evac (teleporting any non guard the fuck out), so we had no magical backup.
I took a few hits, some of these things actually got through my scales. Doe watched in awe (while still fighting) as I healed from my wounds. It didn’t take long for us to get outnumbered. It was time to changed tactics I switched into katana mode and went back to back with doe I gutted what came close and she handled the range. One of the fuckers started strangling Doe! She tried to fight it off but it wasn’t happening.
Blasting a barrier of flame from my side to by me the time to save her, “Get the fuck off of her, you little shit!”I do a forward thrust to avoid hurting Doe. But she had strayed too far, I wasn’t gonna fucking reach. *sizzle swish*
“What the fuck! did you do Shadow?!” Doe asked me while gagging a bit, still using her lance to even the odds. I think I can absorb and redirect mana! I’m a mana sponge, nice one Eris! Oh yeah, I think I’m gonna like this! Well nothing makes a technique feel stronger than giving it a name.
“Holy fang, that’s what happened!” I repeated as much as I could but since I don’t have a horn of my own yet, I can only go so long without absorbing mana for more holy fangs. These things were pure energy but they seem to be pulsating with… the rhythm! Vinyl was still in her booth, ducking away to be unseen by the monsters. She’s still just a pony after all. “Vinyl, I need you severely disrupt their rhythm!” She was lost and scared, I could feel it.
Gotta say something to motivate her, she’s still a musician after all. “Vinyl, drop it hard. Harder than you’ve ever dropped it before! GIve me an epic eargasm with you wubs!”
I think that did it. She’s looking for a beat. “Wub a dub dub Motherfuckers!!!” As viny was in the zone. “D to the to the P.O.N. 3” My plan was working. The orchestral specters were losing to the power of the wubs. Get it girl! As the music continued the rest of the company (non unicorn) continued the battle. It was epic! There was bucking diving smashing stabbing and of course slashing! By the time Vinyl had cut her track, someone made it to the instruments and pulled an el kabong. I managed to save a small chunk of that shit. Maybe a specialist can track the fucker down who hexed the party. With the amount of sweeps Doe had ordered there’s no way it was here before the gala. So a pony had to have a hex stone on them.
“SGT, radio, now!” she handed me her radio after givng me a don’t take that tone with me look. “Attention all unicorns, this is CPL Storm Shadow of the Sol Guard! Shining armor, cast your shield over the castle! No one gets in or out until we find the fool responsible!”
“Copy that, SGT” I could see the shield from the window.
“Every other unicorn, I need a powerful hex finder spell to be cast. Pool your mana if you must! Once the culprit is found, Anyone not actively in a spell has permission to use whatever force necessary!” They didn’t question my orders. Since Celly was in her bunker and at this point Blue Blood is but a child and Cadence has no military experience. I relayed the message. Hoping that Night Light would back me up on this one, if he was here. If not, I had been publicly announced as Celestia’s ward so they might just listen.
“Hey DJ PON3, check your flank!” Vinyl looked down and squealed. She got a cutie mark in her desired field, music!
Five minutes later the perp was caught, by Cadence no less! Well she casted the spell, but shining and Nightlight did the knocking out. It was some mare by the name of Bitter Sweet. She was a lime green unicorn that kinda reminded me of Lyra a bit. What are the chances of it being her mother...Nah!
“Well done CPL, and it’s just your first day too!” I was going to ask her what she meant but I spotted theh, She was right!
Celly appeared behind me. “You’ve had quite the first day on the job, huh Storm?” She said with a grin. Damn it Celly!
“I couldn’t say it any better, kid” NIght Light sighed. He had seen some of the action since his team was in the front line defending the party goers while we were working on eliminating the threat. Well, this is going to be a fun report to write! I opened my door and noticed it had been decked out with the theme of the Draconic Empire (the japanese part of it to be specific) I’d look at i more later, right now is sleepy time. I hopped in bed and entered my slumber even though it would be a short one. I noticed a very plush white something in my ever fading vision.
“Good night Storm Shadow.” Celly hugged and kissed me and then I was gone.

It’s been a month since the gala and my quick thinking gained me some acclaim with the brass. That however did not stop me from looking over my shoulder (metaphorically speaking) for anyone that wished me ill. Doe gave me a squad of three and low and behold that there was only one pony in the batch. Burning Soul (artillery and demolition), a unicorn Stallion with a nice medium muscle build and a striped coat. According to his dossier, he was half dragon (mother) and a quarter zebra on his father’s. Shit, even his horn was striped! He was a full quadruped, unlike me who had no problem walking on two legs. The teeth and eyes screamed dragon but everything else looked pony. The guy was babyfaced though had a few battle scars. Good, he’s a battle mage.
The next on my team was a bitch, literally. Sasha Landers (Sniper), damn does she have a human name or what? I was glad that Fido wasn’t a template for diamond dogs. Sasha was a Doberman and a beautiful one at that. Her files said she pulled off the Stalliongrad job on her own and from 6Km away with a raggedy ass bow. I wonder how she’s liking the compound bow I made for her! “CPL, that bow you made me works like a charm! I love it and I love you, sir.” Sasha said to me in her sexy as all fuck English accent and kissed me. Dogs were an intimate race, so it wasn’t a problem. As for her look and personality, fuse Bernadette Mataki (in her prime) and Sam Bryne (looks and skill) and make her a dog and boom! I had to kill the gearhead in me when I first met her, I knew we’d be getting on well.
The last member of my group was another predator. Medusa, I pause to even think her last name... Gorgon. Talk about history repeating itself. Medusa was a Lamia (Snake person) that possessed ample breast a lovely face and a well toned body. Once again another beauty was placed in my squad, I’m beginning to think that the brass has a bet going on for how long it takes me to fuck one if not both of these ladies. I’m losing my point here! Medusa was my (other) heavy hitter, however I wouldn’t be counting on her in cold climates since lamia are extremely cold blooded. A dragon won’t hibernate unless you submerge it in a shit ton of snow, as for me, I'd just be cold and annoyed. The plus side of being walking flamethrowers. I'm just glad that I don’t have to worry about that shit since I’m a hybrid, all the strengths of both races and few of the weaknesses.
“Medusa, how’s that mana blade I made working for you?” I ask, wanting feedback on my invention. Seriously, why haven’t ponies thought of this shit? She was toting a souped up katana the size of me that had a small groove for placing of enchanted stones for elemental damage. My mana lock system allowed more efficient use of enchantments by using a new type of crystal I (accidentally) created while trying to make Twilight an enhanced record crystal. Charging a spell into the crystal allowed it to lock in the specific element the spell used and the spell flowed from the stone into the grooves in the blade. It was easier to enchant a small device and make the enchantment flow than to to enchant a device over and over again. I modeled the blade after Saya’s sword from Blood+. I wanted to make a Red Queen, but that would’ve just been a replica and not a working model, so fuck it I’ll work on the rotation device later!
“Like Landers said with the bow, It works like a charm. I wonder why ponies never thought of something like this since they’re the only ones with magic!”
“I know right?!” I replied in excitement at my creation. Funny part is the four of us were talking while we were eating manticore steak in the mess. They don't have a separate wing for meat eaters so we got to watch some of the newer troops hold back their bile at our food of choice, it was hilarious! I eat lunch and dinner with the troops and spend breakfast with Celly. The four of us together make Echo Squad.
Lunch went by quickly, it wasn’t long before we were back on the yard doing some drills. Today’s gonna be a nice day! Oh shit, here comes Shining and his crew. "Shining, what's up bro?" I asked in all honesty since we haven't spoken in two weeks. I wonder if he's still mad about the course.
“I’m just fine CPL!” He muttered through gritted teeth. So he’s still mad that I destroyed his course record. I don’t think he’ll be getting over that anytime soon, I’ll just let that simmer down. He’s working his squad hard to get his anger out of him, too hard in fact!
“I think you should lay off before your squad files for transfer, Shiny. Pops won’t be pleased if that happens you know.” I say while putting my claw on his shoulder.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about, my crew is going….strong?” He finally took a look at his crew. They were minutes from needing to be put in sickbed. “Okay crew, that’s enough, for the week I think. Get some rest!” They all gave the standard pony salute, a salute to which my crew and I don’t use. We pay homage to my time in the Empire and use a closed fist to the heart with my arm at a right angle. Shiny gives me a small word of thanks and exits the field with his crew. I think he’ll be giving them light drill duty for a bit to compensate for overdoing it.
Medusa and I are sparring (I’m using a real katana) with each other while Soul was running laps and Sasha was doing target practice (blindfolded). Medusa nicked me when I was distracted with Sasha’s amazingness. “Watashi ni shūchū suru kawari ni, kanojo no, ma nuke!” Medusa spoke our maiden tongue to snap me out of it. She’s right I do need to focus on her instead of Sasha’s fine ass, otherwise I’m in trouble here. I was tangled in her tail by the time I snapped out of my lust and wonder.
“You know this is kinda hot, Medusa!” I say while feeling her up and cutting her top off with my tail She blushed and let me go to hide her shame, much to my chagrin. “Cheater, pervert!” How adorable.

I toss her my jacket, she may have an amazing rack but it’s not worth getting stabbed and slashed with a lacerating Mana blade even if it takes a lot of force to cut through, that shit still hurts. Healing factor or no pain lingers for a while and stacks up.
“Are you sure you want to give me this, I mean you can’t take your eyes off me! I kind of like it.” Most lamia are shy, most. Medusa is by no means a slut but she is very open with her sexualtiy and doesn’t mind me looking, much. I’m very tempted to take her up on her offer, but it would be best to give her some clothing.

Truth be told I bought that jacket for Night Fury from the apparel store on the common ground near the barracks when I was walking along and she has only worn it once! It was intended for a woman anyway. Besides I can get a better one for myself that can pass ass unisex for me and cute for her! That one was a little to thermal for my taste anyway. It was one of those cute half jackets that went to breast level. It didn’t look that way on me since Night Fury is much larger than I am. Hell the females tend to be larger (and more developed) than the males at our age anyway, so no one questioned me wearing it, but Celly. She caught NIght Fury in the act of tail fucking. Damn that was an awkward conversation, until she went shopping with me for apparel and accessories for her! I stayed went since Night Fury wasn’t much for clothes shopping and I just love all shopping. Hey Eris is it odd that I’m referring my female self as if she’s another person?
“I wouldn’t say so since your personalities are flipped to a point. You’re cool in my book.” Great ,my lady approves back to the training.
As if to tempt me further, she puts the jacket on but refrained from zipping it up to leave her glory in my vision. She must think I’ll slip up just because she slips me a little nip. Medusa gave a vertical slash while I countered with a more powerful spinning slice, knocking the blade into the air and going in for the “kill” “I yield” I asked if she wanted another round but she replied negative.
“Keep that fire burning and you’ll become a Sergeant in no time, CPL!” That voice that had an air of a big sister talking to her little brother could only belong to one woman, Doe!
“SGT on deck!” we all give the Draconic salute to Doe.
“At ease, soldiers!” We all dropped our attention stance and continued what we were doing last. “Care to give me a spar, it looks like you want more.”
“Negative, ma’am. I have a meeting with Celly today and it’s best I hit the showers!”
Doe gave me a stern look of outrage. “You aren’t to attend Evening court with her highness for several hours and you’re still on duty! My request to spar just became an order, CPL!” Ah shit, she’s pulling rank. I must’ve offended her. Woah!!
Dodging at the last second, I avoid her new lance. She was sporting another invention of mine. Her lance had a small boost device in it that utilized her vectoral thrust and greatly increased the impact it wouldn’t go through my scales in one hit, but continued damage could lead to me actually bleeding. “Pansy” I love you too, Eris.
“You’d fucking better, darling.” Getting my mind back in the game, I continue dodging Doe’s lance. DIdn’t take me long to switch from dodging to parrying. Since she was using a lance, she had limited attacks, I however was using a katana (non-lethal debuffed). Backstepping her thrust once more, I feint a thust and go into an upwards slice and send her in the air. That was a mistake! Doe came down, her lance heading for me in full rotation. That would really hurt if it connected, so I dodged the last minute and let Doe’s weapon get lodged in the ground.
Doe went in for a buck, it connected and sent me flying in the opposite direction. I've had enough of this shit! SInce Doe went with melee, I put my blade in the ground as well and went down on all fours and speed to her so fast I was creating afterimages. Circling around her and striking her whole body in an unrelenting tirade of punches kicks and tailwhips, I could tell she’d had enough but I gave her a downward kick for good measure. “Ok, I give!” Picking up the blade from the ground and returning it from whence it came, I leave the field and look for my shining friend. After the coast is clear, I shift into Night fury and look for him.
“Hi Storm...um Night, how was the workout?” I swear does looking for Shiny summon Candy or something?
“It went well, Candy. Have you seen Shiny anywhere. I really need to speak with him!”
“Oh is he still mad about the record or is it about thinking he and I were a thing?” I still couldn’t believe that Shining and Cadence weren’t a thing but, that gave me room to get mine! “Go get him girl! Just remember, he has no experience with girls” She’s reading my mind damn love princess! “Relax, I haven’t told him about who you are so you can hit on him as much as you like!” She was happy I had embraced love (even if it’s in a form that was Storms opposite). She loves seeing her friends in love without the help of her “talent”

My heart skipped a beat and I got nervous...I actually got nervous! Maybe this isn’t a good Idea right now!

It took him a few seconds to cover his shame, maybe I should have toned it down a bit. Nah that just ain’t my style! It was just too much! Maybe I should give.him a minute. I wonder what he was doing before I came around. Working on his shield maybe? There was a faint aura around his horn, yeah it was shield practice.
“Heh, so you’re Storm’s cousin. That explains why you look like him! I’m guessing that you two have similar talents since you have similar cutie marks.” Wait what, I don’t look a thing like him! I'm probably gonna get an earful when I go to a mirror. But who cares anyway, he’ll still help me since my happiness is his happiness! “Sorry, was that a sore subject?” Damn is he nervous or what?
“It’s okay, it’s just no one’s ever said that before. Since you’re all revved up and all, how about you help me out with a new ninja move of mine that Storm taught me.”
“Um, yeah I’ll help you with that. What do you need?” He’s so eager to please me! This is going to be fun!
“I just need you to pay close attention to me.” LIke that’s gonna be a problem! I used the afterimage technique Storm had just used on Doe, that skill needs work! I dug a few holes and jumped in one.
“Wrong answer, try again!” I repeated the process, this time eliminating a hole from the equation. I could feel his emotions from my hole. This sweet and tart feeling was temptation. He was considering cheating.
Shining went to the right hole and received another blast to the face. I could feel amusement and hear him chuckling. Good he’s having fun! “I’m gonna get you this time.” Shining’s getting into the mood of things. With another round shunpo (it’s easier to say than flash stepping), we began the game again. He poked his head down the middle hole and I popped my head out and kissed him on the muzzle. Shining paused for a second and blinked “Wha, what?” He’s just too cute right now!
We play the game for another five minutes, He got an actual kiss on his last success. Things were going well, I got him interested in me at least! That was the easy part, getting him to love me might be trickier. “That was really fun, Fury. Did you have anything else you wanted to try?”

“Yeah, okay. Same time tomorrow then!” He turned around and walked off for the showers. Part of me was tempted to change into Storm and go in there.
“I’ll have no part in that type of shit young lady!” Looks like he doesn’t like that idea. I should have known that he wouldn’t let me use his body for my acts of perversion. I could feel his glare in my head. Okay I’m sorry alright! now go back to your part of the brain! “No problem It wouldn’t have worked anyway, I need to give you permission to use my body and vice versa.” Well that’s good to know, I won’t have to worry about him doing naughty things to me at night!

“Okay candygirl, I’m back” She dropped the spell. I thank her for the help and fly to my suite. I’m just glad that Celly let me move puzzle into the castle. After all I refused to up and leave her since she was sworn to me and not Prism!
“Boss, we have a new filly starting today. Celestia had her transferred here.” Puzzle said to me in her usual adoring tone (when it came to me at least) “She’s here right now, along with the princess!” Great so this new girl isn’t optional! I’ve been here for two months with only one primary servant, It was only a matter of time until Celly found one she approved of when I told her quality and not quantity. Either way, I made myself clear that it had to be a she and she’d have to be willing to deal with my “urges” when they arise.

She seemed like she was a teenage filly complaining to her coltriend and not the ruler of Equestria for a few thousand years! But that’s the effect I have on her, I let her be young. Celly had to grow up fast to raise Luna after all. I won’t be pressing into that situation at all. I’d like to avoid a tender subject like that and just let her be happy. Shit her happiness makes me happy as well and not just because I’m half changeling.
“I know, I’m sorry. Doe got mad at me and made me duel her and I came up with a bridge for a new technique I’m gonna be working on!” I tell her as I'm hugging her

“Mou, why are you being so mean Celly! You know full well Storm and I are different people, so why’d ya have ta bring that up with him?!” I say still blushin like a mad mare!
Celly put on her “you’re so cute!” smile and hugged me. “Because you made him late, dear Night Fury. That and It was fun to watch you forcibly switch places with him! Now please change back into Storm.” Shoulda known it was trap!
With the mind and body swap done, it was back to business with Celly. I went to open the door, but she insisted on doing it herself. She draped the door in her twinkling aura. I could see the form of a unicorn sitting in the sitting room. No sooner than I went for the sitting room was I bashed by Celly’s mane. I get it, wait here and let you do the “unveiling”. After all , this girl will most likely be serving me for the rest of her life.
“Storm Shadow, it is without further adieu that I present unto you your newest maid! You may now enter the sitting room!” The figure looked my way and I could sense happiness coming from her. Let it never be said that I'm rude! As I went to open the door to my sitting room, I could feel her (and for some reason my) elation. Celestia was smiling her “you’re going to love this smile. So I just knew this was going good!

I sat down on the pillow adjacent to her while Celly and Puzzle stayed outside. “Allow me to pour you some tea, Goshujinsama!” With a smell from the tea, I could tell that she hand brewed this. Medusa was breathing heavily and Soul was doing just fine. The four of us talked about what we think were getting into. I didn’t even have all the intel, so it was purely speculation at this point.
As the door opened, Echo starred in anticipation. With a proud stride COL Nightlight came in the room with CPT Shimmer in towe. So I was wrong and they did use Shimmer’s team to gather the intel. It was most likely out of convenience
They stepped to the podium and placed the crystal in the slot to display the intel via the projector (I begged the COL to let me put a few of my inventions to work, this one is used for every briefing) to display the magical powerpoint.
Nightlight motioned for Shimmer to take the stage. “Alright Echo, this is what we got!” The intel appeared on the board. “Based off our observations, it appears that the Griffons and Dogs in the area appear to be under the sway of mind control. Amongst the controlled, there seems to be an Earth Pony holding onto some spherical device The device has been classified as a 404” 404 means they have no fucking clue, well this should be fun! She pointed to the device…Holy shit, it’s the Apple of Eden!
“You act like this is the first thing from games that’s in this world” Eris was giving me the full “don’t be an idiot” treatment

“Sir, Permission to speak?” He nodded his head. “I've been working on stealth technology that utilizes the camouflage spell since pure invisibility is impossible and would like to implement it. I’m still working out the kinks and the power will most likely fade if the mission takes more than a few hours (which it might). But for the time that it’s active, we should be near undetectable as long as we move slowly and avoid direct conflict. I have equipped Lander’s bow with a string silencer and have been working on making my hyper beam absolutely silent and thin if need be. However I’ve come up with long range null-weapons that should aid in taking down the controlled, Sir!” I say in one breath.
Pops grinned menacingly. “Good on ya, SGT! How soon can you have this equipment ready for Echo and better yet mass production for the Sol guard and it’s recon teams?” Sweet, pops gave the seal of approval!

Everyone blanched at that. The battle of Tide’s End was on my dossier and I was the only survivor of that event. They took one from the harpies of the empire and hit our asses with a kamikaze! As I regenerated from the wounds I suffered, I noticed a whopping one didn’t commit. I flew at her like a bat out of hell in pure rage pinned her down to the cloud face down and ass up and gave her two choices. Rape or torture. Being the coward she was (I realise that she was being sensible now), she chose rape.
After a few round I started to feel how damn good a Griffon was, it was my first interspecies fuck and gott damn was it tight! At that point the two of us were having consensual fun. Shaking off my quick memory, I noticed pops was thinking about it. “You’re right, son. Your unit will go as is.you'll be heading out in an hour, dismissed!”
“Sir” we all saluted and made our way to my lab for our gear. and prep for the flight to our DZ which is a few klicks away from Trottingham. Well, this is going to be fun!

Fall From Grace: Code 403
After my tinkering, we had forty five minutes till final mission brief. I finished the five suits in fifteen minutes. Hell, I even managed tweak the gear to use less power and managed to drop the discharge by a full magical ampere! As far as our date with shining, I’d have Puzzle cover for her so Shining doesn’t connect the dots. Night Fury is a big girl, she can understand that this takes priority. Fun fact about the distance from canterlot to Trottingham by train it would take at least a week and a half and that's without stops. A normal flight would take about a day, so I’d have to hazard a guess. I’d be flying the team on my carrier.
Whilst I was formulating my plan, someone bumped into me. "Ah, sorry about that. I can be a little clumsy when I'm in a rush!" I could tell by the voice that is was Sunset. She seems a bit off. My eyes caught a view of the goods and she knew it. Sunset stood upright and her face was redder than her hair.
I better apologize before I get reprimanded. "Sorry Captain, I should have paid more attention to my surroundings. It won't happen again! " I threw in a Japanese bow for good measure. And she's totally laughing at me right now, isn't she?
"At ease, Sergeant. I'm a squad captain, not a Captain. My actual rank is Specialist. Celestia just likes calling me that." Wow, that's one hell of a misunderstanding.
There was another problem with this conversation. "Why the hell are you doing grunt work?" Sunset put her head down and to the side. What was she trying to get her mind off of? She’s not being bullied...is she? Diving into her emotional cocktail of grief sorrow and unwanted lust, I confirm my suspicions. She’s someone's plaything! Her pride must be stopping her from going to Celly. Well this might be blunt, but it has to said. "Sunset, who's abusing you, and don't lie to me."

Her ears drooped. "I can't tell you!" She must be terrified of this guy if she doesn't think I have what it takes. "No seriously, I can't tell you. He's got this gag spell on me. We both gave a happy affirmative and I got to teaching Sunset her new role.
Twenty minutes later
We were all assembled for a final briefing about ten minutes prior to mission. Before us was the Colonel and Celestia. "Echo, your mission shall commence once this briefing is terminated. Sergeant Storm Shadow, the floor is yours."
As soon as I had the go ahead, I stood up. "Echo this is a time sensitive matter, as you are all aware. Normal means of travel would have us in Trottingham in anywhere between twenty four hours and a week. We cannot afford to waste time here. My plan is to have you travel in a subsonic carrier I had been working on and have confirmed its integrity. This method will have us on site within six hours. The carrier will land here in a remote area outside of the town. The carrier shall serve as a CIC to which our newest edition, Specialist Sunset Shimmer shall be running from now on. Medusa, you're sitting this one out. It's pretty cold up there around now."
The Colonel raised an eyebrow and Celestia had a confused look on. "Sergeant Doe will be filling in for you. I really can't have you hibernating on us. Doe, I'm trusting you to not undermine my authority. Please dont make me regret this decision. Shimmer, I've equipped the carrier with a control console for surveillance drones, which will be cloaked as well. Please keep in mind that the main goal is to terminate the situation with as little fatalities as possible. Echo, let's move out!"
As the crew left, Celly stopped me with a worried look on her face. "Please be careful Storm." She whispered as she hugged me. I gave her a smile and carried on to put my gear on and strap myself in.
"Smack her on the ass, you know you want to!" As tempting as that may seem I would be so grounded after this op was done. So no, I won't be doing that. "You're no fun sometimes!" Yeah, well I'm fun most of the time.

"You heard the lady Echo, Let's kick some ass!" Everyone yelled out an oorah to that. With the assistance of the launching catapult, we were airborne. Getting this thing airborne alone might be a bit of a bitch. But hey, one thing at a time. Ten minutes later, we arrive at the drop zone about a thirty minute trek away from town.
Shimmer deployed the drones that were recently equipped with an active camo mod. They seem to be working pretty well. "Okay Echo, here's your tutorial. Keep cloaked movement slow. The drones are small enough that they won't have this problem. But if you run, the cloaking field will fluctuate briefly. Another important fact you're cloaked, not invisible. Don't get too close to a target unless you can drop their asses quickly. The townsfolk are being mind controlled, so avoid lethal takedowns if possible. And lastly keep it quiet. Let's move"
I went with Doe and Landers and Soul were in the other group. Crows nest each with two guards were at our sides. Landers and I dropped them with arrows. We slowly advanced into the the town, keeping our eyes out for enemies and our ears open for any intel that Shimmer might feed us. A shaggy looking diamond dog was creeping on our location. Shit, he's sniffing us out.
"Echo, I've got multiple diamond dogs fixing on your position. I suggest making their neutralization your primary objective."
"Copy that, control. You heard her echo." With that we began our hunt for the dogs. The one that was near me looked right in my direction. Gotta slow my breathing and see if he's in his right mind. Doe had the same idea and was creeping up on him. Oh shit, he's got her scent. I got a glimpse of his eyes, which weren't glowing, he's a henchman. I clawed his throat out before he could get any closer to Doe and she moved the body into a nearby irrigation ditch. I dropped another dog that was in our path.
Cool thing about my being mostly dragon is I have superior senses to those dogs and just about anything I feel like hunting at the time. I let myself get surprised earlier, I don't think I want that happening again. It almost cost Doe her life. We turned the next corner and met up with Landers and Soul. "All clear Echo, nice going. Continue with primary objective. There should be a building a few meters northeast from your location. Cutting through the building should allow you easier access to the secure area." I'm sensing a but here. "There are Griffins there"
"Are their eyes glowing?"
"Yes, they also appear malnourished and weak. Infrared scans of the infrastructure indicates there's a lot of em. Caution is advised." We only have a few sleep canisters on us and we may need them later. But we can't exactly sneak past all those hungry griffins no matter how mindless they are.
"Alright Echo, switch to negotiator mode." The non lethal functions I had imbued into our weaponry was now active. Landers and my bows changed in format to deliver a mana arrow that would render targets unconscious for hours. Soul and Doe kept dart launchers at the ready. As we silently breached the building, we saw three groups. One was in the back and in a corner where we couldn’t get a shot off. They're currently pounding away at what I assume to be a female. It's too soon to initiate direct conflict and they're obviously not gonna kill her since they're horny, not hungry. The vic is on her own...for now. The second group was fighting over a piece of meat. The last one was. fighting for something higher up... oh ancestors, it’s a filly and she's still alive. According to Black Lotus, the one in possession of the apple is named Silver Rain. He was one of the main mine technicians to go missing in the cave in. He and his crew were thought dead. That thought had been confirmed false. Based off this information, it ain't hard to conclude that he found the apple during the time they were trapped.
Silver Rain must have compelled the dogs by using the apple. Considering the fact that these griffins are semi-mindless husks, he must’ve had some time to practice with it. "How long ago was the cave in, Lotus?" Doe asked as she moved to her. Lotus shrieked and cowered behind me.
She feels safe with me, nice. "Lotus, aisuru ko, I need you to answer that question."
She looks at me and smiles. "Watashi wa besuto o tsukushimasu. It was about two years ago and he did all this in two days. My friend Silver crow, the pegasus your dragon friend"
"Dragoon" I just had to Correct her on that one.
"Right, Silver and I didn't go down without a fight. We tried our best, but We're just two fillies! We didn’t stand a chance since most of the city's heavy hitters either fled, fell, or are currently under his control. We, as in Silver and my honor guard , the griffins you fell so easily. Attempted to take back the city. We failed, of course. To make a point Rain used the relic to compel all 12 of the guards rape and beat Silver and I in front of the townsman. And that was only six hours after my mother and Silver's father had escaped with their envoy to attain reinforcements. To make things worse, he had the griffins turned into what you saw." *Sniff*
I put my claw on her shoulder and let her cry in my chest. Silver walked over worse for wear than Black but she had been taken care of by Soul. The potion he gave her after stitching her up should help fix the rest. "Silver Crow and Silver Rain, any relation there?" Landers just had to address the elephant in the room!
"Miss Doberman, that fiend ain't no kin a mine! Just because two ponies have similar soundin names don't mean they got any relation!" She stomped her hoof to prove her point. I took the chance to get a good look at her. True to her name, she was pure silver in coloration. Her eyes were a deep blue and unlike lotus, she had her cutie mark. Which kinda reminded me of Led Zeppelin's take on Icarus... if they were a pony band. Not forget that she was cute as well.
"Control, we've located two VIPs. Please advise."
"Scans say your area's not clear yet. I suggest you clear the building before you carry on"
"Repeat that." I cannot be hearing this right.
"Area still has live targets, Sgt."
"Roger, will keep searching for bogies. Doe and Landers stay here and guard the girls. Soul with me, I'd like another fire breather with me just incase." I got no arguments from my crew at least. Lotus grabbed my tail and but those big purples to work. "I'll be right back. My friend and I just need to see if this place is safe." Lotus released my tail and got between Doe and Landers. Silver Crow grabbed pipe and added herself to the defensive formation as if it was second nature.
"What? I'm a cadet in the guard academy! I can be of use in a partial diamond formation around a VIP!"
I chuckled at her gusto. She must’ve made them work for it. "Iron's cool, but I think you'll fare better with Draconic steel." I handed her a katana I had forged and intended to give to Soul. "It's yours now, take good care it Draconic katanas don't rust and can cut through most things like a hot knife through butter." Soul looked a little disappointed. I gave him a pat on the back. "She needs it more than you do." He accepted my statement. Soul and I went into the final part of the building and were found that horrid smell near a small hole in the wall.
"Sergeant, the bogies are in front of you. They appear to be severely frightened. Take caution."
"Control, we're two dragoons this hole is big enough for a few onies at best. I think we'll be fine." Soul said his piece like the smartass he is. But he's got a point.
"If you're in your right mind come out this instant or we'll burn you alive. And just so you know, it will be a green and white flame. So expect soul crushing pain and motorary dysfunction leading on to an agonizingly slow death." They'd be dead in minutes but it would feel like hours. Way to work the crowd Soul. A group of four ponies (one unicorn and three earth ponies) came out of their hidey hole and followed us back to the main area.
"Control, I've got a few faces that need IDed."
"Copy that, Sergeant. Scanning IDs now. They appear to be some of the city's aristocrats. Give em the VIP treatment."
"Copy that, control."
"You cowards! I should take this blade and run it through your hearts." Silver cried in what tasted like righteous fury.
"Hold up pup, why would you do that. Did these guys do something wrong?" Landers asked with a puzzled look on her face. Actually, I'd like to hear that one myself.
The girls both had looks of pure rage on their faces. Eris you eating fucking popcorn?! "Less talking more Tom Clancy! I have a feeling this is going to be good!" Fine just mute the mic while you're eating that shit, ne? "Hai!"
"These maggots...no these amoeba pushed an innocent civilian into a flock of hungry behexed griffins, yeah that carcass you burned was a pony and a good one. She died so these fuckers could live! Then they put up a barrier and left us out of it and you know the rest." Shit, she’s telling the truth.
"Control, I rescind that statement. We found those other VIPs DEAD."
" Dead, sir?" I retold what I just heard for Shimmer. " Copy that Sergeant, give em what they deserve!"
"Girls, I don't think you want to see this." I said said as both my and Soul's mouths went ablaze.
"The fuck we don't, Midnight Ember was a saint to the community! We Owe it to her to watch these fuckers burn!" This cadet is hardcore, I want her! I'm gonna have to file the proper papers. Considering that Trottingham is a fucking city state they have a nice academy, but Canterlot's is the best. Chances of her saying yes after this are high.
As we drew closer, they began to tremble. "You're the good guys, you can't do this!" Wow, they're begging for their lives. Any mercy I would've shown them is now down the shitter.
All of Echo and the girls smiled toothy smiles. I think Soul and I were the scariest since our mouths were still smouldering. "Good guys, yes. Heroes, no. We're spec ops, pal. This mission don't exist and soon neither will you. Lotus restrain them, if you please." She did so and "Ready, Soul" he nodded and the dead men shook their heads I took a breath. "Fire" I did my best put a little soul in it.
"I love that song, Storm. Fire by the Canterlot Players, right?" I point a finger at Doe, she’s got taste! The screaming wouldn’t last long and it wouldn't raise any attention either, since that's what this place was intended for. By Rain's design at least. In a few minutes, they were dead and gone. And I put out the fire before there were any clear signs of said fire outside. A pile of smoke might of given us away.
"You girls have been through enough as it is but, I think we've breached protocol enough as is. You're gonna have to come with us." The drones "Control, expand the drones' cloaking field around these girls and guide them back to you slowly though. The cloaking field won't be as effective at fast speeds when you do that."
"Copy that, Sergeant."
Lotus and gave me a frightened look. "Have some faith in Silver and my coordinator, they won't let you down." She started crying a little.
"The girl really likes you Sarge, why don't you take her back. We can rest up here for a bit." I raised an eyebrow at Landers. "Not everyone here has a healing factor that kills fatigue, sir" She had a point and even Doe was looking fatigued. I shook my head and escorted the girls to the carrier and made it back without incident. The whole trek took about ten minutes. I'm just lucky there's no snow right now.
Walking back to the makeshift base camp, I noticed the team seemed in better spirits. "We ready to go, Echo?" Everyone took one last swig from their flasks and we were back on mission.
"So, Lotus has got the hots for you huh, didn't know you like em young."
Great I get to explain my aging process again! "Quit bitching and explain" That hurt Eris. "No, it didn't" . Ok, you got me there. Well, here we go.
"Let me enlighten you on how dragons age mentally and physically. While I have the mental capacity of an adult of about twenty two years of age. That is not my age. By dragon standards I am technically a minor barely over eleven. The only reason I was in the army was dragoons mentally and physically age to a point at an accelerated rate then stop. While the age the mandatory enlist is fifteen (dragon) I was enlisted at fifteen (standard). Dragons age at a rate of 1 year for every two. Dragoons hyper age to eight within the first full (dragon) year and then age normally afterwards. After a dragon (or dragoon) reaches adulthood (25D), half aging ceases. As you all know, Dragons will live until they are forcibly terminated. Now can we get back to our regularly scheduled systematic slaughter of a group in possession of a 404, please." Irritation was oozing out of me. The crew could feel it and shut up.
We cut through the building as Shimmer suggested. We're surrounded by larger buildings the streets are paved and the air isn't as clean, we're in a urban area. "Good, you've made it downtown. I've managed to trace the 404's signal to an area further in. This area is going to be heavily guarded. Please be careful, guys." We all gave an "aww' at her concern and moved out.
"Control, route. Cloaked or not I'm not, I'd rather not be in the street."
"Won't have to look hard, I've found the 404 and its wielder! Take the alley to your left and walk it till you reach fourth and mane then you'll find the building where Rain appears to have set up shop. Be warned he's got heavy hitters under influence in there. The girls have given me some details on what a few of these warriors are capable of. Lethal takedowns may be necessary. You're not gonna like the building he took, Sir."
"Don't tell me...he took the academy?"
"Worse. He took the armory, sir." Chikushoume! Not only do we have to deal with glamoured elites, they happen to be well armed. I didn’t want to have to do it but I guess we really will have to kill some of the controlled. No, drop the thought. I'll deal with that when it's time. Rain's smarter than I thought. Not only did he take the armory but he has convoys of his own men (mostly dogs) patrolling the area for any possible threats. Hell, he's even got griffins doing skyward patrols. If we weren't so well cloaked, we'd or rather my team would be dead meat.
"Local knowledge, either one of you know of any tunnels near the barracks and armory area?" I'm just hoping for a long shot at this point. All other POEs are absolutely suicide.
"Local crow, here. There's a tunnel entrance about a half a klick southeast of your position. I'd use it to sneak out sometimes. Not many know about it, so you should be good." Nan seiko?!
"And how is that, was your mom an architect or something?"
"Actually sir, yes she is. She also flew away before Rain had control over the griffins or access to artillery. I'll give you directions as needed when you're down there and the code to make the path open into the buildings. It will only get you in near the academy but the buildings are interconnected via breezeways so you should have no trouble getting to Rain." If I hear one more coincidence, my mind might have to reboot. "I just remembered that there's a lot of concrete in the tunnels. Miss says we might not be able to talk to you so here's the code. Line up the kanji for Storm, Chaos, and Sun. In that order top to bottom." *kchuck errrrr*. We are experiencing technical difficulties, please bear with.
"Honey, I don't think now is the time for you to be crashing on me. Now get your obsidian ass back in the game or it's a cold war for the next two months!"
"...We need. Hey Sarge, we can't speak or read Japanese which characters do we need?" Doe asked
"Sorry guys. I went somewhere else for a second. Er, twenty minutes" I turned to Soul with a look of surprise. "You can't read the script of your homeland. Sekai de nani?"
Soul holds his claws up in defense. "Second generation Equestrian-Draconian, I speak it and practice a few of the customs for my grandparent's sake. You're the one from the motherland here. Think you could do your thing, sir?"
We've been uncloaked in these tunnels for about fifteen minutes, the cloaking systems should be fully recharged by now. "Cloak up Echo. We're going in."

“Well, this ain't a bad day at all. Glad I got leave for the day.” I say as I walk about the bazaar. A few people are giving me a weird look, but what do you expect I'm Mercenary shopping in an Iraqi Bazaar. I just don't give a shit. Follow protocol, don't cause trouble and you'll be fine. That Lesson was beaten into me Maxwell 'Mad Max' Monarch back when I was here as a Soldier.
Why do they call me that, well since I was in school I've been ready to kick ass for what I believe in and take one for the team when necessary. Well back to the point I was just getting a lay of the land wasn't that often I'd get a treat of being outside of Command Center and have leave at the same time. As for the looks I'm fucking ripped most Civies would think twice before fucking with me, until they see my tattoo of Queen Chrysalis (Yeah I'm a brony got a problem bro) even though I had a bad-ass image and not some cartoony version of her. Higher ups pretty much made me cover it saying it was inappropriate and a source of conflict
But I digress, I walking around town with some time to spare before curfew and I notice this beautiful girl. Hell if I didn't know better I'd say she was the human version of Eris but everyone knows she's a fictional character. However she was hot so I thought I follow her, hell she looked about as American as I was. Little would I know what was coming for me. I enter the bar and order the girl a beer (What this was a shitty bar only a soldier or a brute would come here).
Shit the barkeep told her I ordered it. Here she comes gotta look cool. “Hey there, soldier. Thanks for the drink, mind if I sit?” I was getting ready to say free country but then I remembered where I was. “I guess you're right it is a free world so sit I shall!” Hold the fucking phone did I say that? I must have, I just shrug it off and pull her chair out for her. “Well well a gentleman and a soldier good traits to have”
Dude she's complimenting me time to talk. “Thanks, names Max what's yours?” I sit there for a second drinking my beer hoping that I didn't blow this.
“Eris is my name, Chaos is my game. I'm here as a photographer taking shots of the chaos.” Wait.....did she just say Eris. Loading brony.exe.....Holy Luna what a coincidence well let's see how far I can get I've got about six hours of time to spend before it's not safe out.
Time to respond “Eris, as in the Greek goddess of chaos and disarray. You got yourself a good job to go with that name hon this place is a PIT of chaos.”
She gave me a wry grin. “Well if this place is such a pit of chaos then why are you here, Soldier boy trying to fix it?”
I could swear I saw a golden glow in those beautiful eyes. “Fix this place, yeah that ain't gonna happen in my lifetime. I came here to get away from all the mundane shit civies have to deal with. Tried to re-up but US wasn't having it so I went merc. I just can't live a life without a little trouble, had to get my ass out of America or I'd go insane. I just couldn't live a civilian life, too much fucking order not enough chaos!”
I clasped my mouth what the fuck is going on here I'm saying what I'm thinking instead of what I should be saying. Eris started to smile “Well that just doesn't make sense, soldiers exist to maintain the order don't they?”
What is going on here “Sense, what fun is there in making sense my dear Eris? I'm here for the chaos and also to bring some order, for what is chaos without order. That is the one true sense my dear.” Okay now I'm freaking out I'm spilling my guts to this girl I just met. What if she's an undercover official and I get reprimanded or worse sent back home.
“Well you're a different type of soldier, even for a rent-a-soldier” She said while keeping interest in me.
“Yeah, I used to live in Japan when I was a kid. Got the full 'samurai spirit' treatment. Hell my mom kept me with her at the dojo saying it would be safer for me than living in the barracks. Turns out she was right they got their shit bombed and my dad was dead. Seeing how I possessed dual citizenship. Japanese mother African American father (deceased) so I was officially my mom’s problem. We chose to stay the dojo with ojii sama instead of returning to the states.”
Why the fuck am I telling her my life story just don't mention the ninja training. “So, you're like some kind of modern day ninja!” she said while clapping her hands. Well fuck me sideways either this chick is psychic or she's the real Eris.
As I thought that her eyes glowed that brilliant golden glow and changed back to a green. Now I know I'm not seeing things, once sure but twice I don't think so. “I have a question for you.” She gave me a 'ask away' look . Are you the real Eris, Goddess of chaos and disarray? Right like I'd ask her that “So your name really is Eris right?”
She looked slightly offended. “Of course it is Soldier boy... I mean Max. So shall we leave this drab little place for a more fun venue?” Wait is this an 'invitation'? Oh hell yes!
“I would love to” I answer with a slight bow and she leads the way out of the bar. I couldn't help but look at that ass, it was magnificent! Hell, everything about her was screaming come on and jump me. From the beautiful and playful eyes to even the way she fucking walked I was going crazy. Shit it was a damn shame she covered herself, but I guess that was for the better. “So where are we going exactly?” I ask the military man in me just reached out for intel.
She turned to face me dead in the eye for effect. “A beautiful lady is letting you, a trained soldier escort her home. If you play your cards right you might even have some fun along the way!”
And there goes the glow in her eyes again, I don’t even think she’s even trying to hide it anymore, is she? Well not like I give a fuck anyway, she clearly wants my company and she will get it. We spend some time walking about booths and checking out their goods. I say we but it was mostly just a shopping trip for Eris. If this were some tv show it would be a good time for a montage. It was just her until she dragged me to some male clothing and said to give it a look
After about an hour and a half of both of us trying on clothes. Well putting them near our bodies is more like it. We were both satisfied and of course bought a few things to avoid angry merchants. Among those things was a pack I wasn't about to carry all those clothes that’s just screaming come rob us to anyone who wasn't scared of getting near me.
Five minutes after our walk away from the booths began, Eris just stopped. “Well here we are, Sir max. Is there anything this fair maiden can do to thank you for the fun time” she said in a mock ye olde English accent before grabbing me by the collar and pulling me into her abode.
Gott damn, Eris plays no games when it comes to the horizontal tango well it was more like a perpendicular seeing as she’s riding me and not letting me have control. Being her bitch right now is definitely worth it. I try to flip the script on her but she didn't seem to like that. Her face screamed ‘I want to be on top NOW’ I sigh and give in to her non voiced command.

“Wait Max don’t!!” but it was too late I was plummeting from the tenth floor and my brilliant destruction was coming.
The cheesiest thing just came to mind and I couldn't help myself in the face of death. “Looks like Mad Max is blasting off again!” boom (not ding)and that was it I was giblets with what little time was left I thought of something happy... Equestria
Somethings wrong shouldn't I be feeling either an upwards pulling or some downward tugging. Shit,I even set myself up with a fucking sparring area.
I go to lay in my beach chair when I realize someone’s in it. As I walk closer I notice the silhouette was a female. My mind went crazy I really hope Eris didn't join me after I went so far as to take a plunge for her. That fear was confirmed when I saw Eris in a hot ass emerald bikini with complementing shades sipping on a Mai Tai.
Eris took one look at me. “What’s up, lover boy?”
What’s up lover boy? Is that all she’s got to say to me I bit the big D so she could get away safely and I just find out she’s here that wasn't going well with me so I spoke it as nicely as I could. “Eris what the absolute fuck?! I am not dead and your thoughts earlier were indeed correct I am THE Eris goddess of chaos and disarray! And we are in more of a limbo or a sanctuary, I stopped you from ‘checking in’ to the pearly white palace. Believe it or not that’s where you were heading. And pulled you here in order to give you another chance ” She just said that in a matter-of-fact tone of voice. “So, Max do you want another shot at life? I can do that for you lover, just not on Earth.”
I would call bullshit but for some reason I believe she’s not lying to me. “But if not Earth than where am I going to go and let’s not forget I’d need a new body honey, seeing as my old one is kinda giblets now.” She gave me an appraising look happy I knew that my body was what I think it to be in this place.
She thought for a minute and the next thing I know music started playing. “My dear Max. Your mission, if you choose to accept it. Is to go to Equestria and cause some mayhem. Also as a side note if Discord gets free kick his ass.”
I just stand there gawking can she read my fucking mind or something. There goes that beautiful glow again, yup she can read my mind. “I’ll go but as for the causing mayhem, I’d prefer to balance Equestria’s checkbook of chaos. They've got it too damn good there but no need to destroy them with too much chaos.” Eris just smiled at my decision then I remembered a fic I read with a similar plot. “But I get to choose where and when I get sent to and what I’ll become. Can’t go leaving it to chance. I mean how much chaos can a bat or a pig cause?”
She seemed a little peeved that I took a bit of her fun away but she looked like she was agreeing with me. “Okay I’ll give you the power of choice just don’t pick something boring like a pony!”
Oh Eris my love, I you’re in for a surprise you didn’t notice my tat during our romp because of my armband. I take a breath for dramatic effect. The drama queen known as Eris liked that bit. “I want to be a changeling, but not a normal one I want to be Chrysalis’ equal a king but still with something different. She then explained that Changelings had healing factors but she gave me one that was on steroids. Mine would make Wolverine, Deadpool, and Jack Harkness eat their hearts out. She was going to explain more but I stopped her with a hoof. I had decided to explore a bit. I noticed my legs and tail were different there were divots in my forelegs and my hind legs as well as my tail were serrated.
I took a look of joy at Eris. “My bones are weapons! Sweet, I’m like Wolverine!” I gave her a hug, careful of my now sharp bones. “So I’m assuming I have an Exoskeleton and my bones are indestructible. So when will my flesh regenerate?”
Eris nodded at my assumptions “You were thinking ‘I want to be the Wolverine of the changelings’ weren't you so I gave that to you. As for your flesh just think about it, we aren't in Equestria yet so it hasn't kicked it in. All you need is to perceive yourself as whole. Also before I forget love, why a changeling?”
I didn't even need to think about that. “Ponies have got it too damn good and with my training I can give the changelings some hope. Let’s face it a children’s cartoon is going to paint them in an overly negative light, they were starving and most likely emaciated and there’s no way Hasbro would let that part be shown.”
It looks like yet again I have Eris speechless. “You’re correct they were. So where and when in Equestria am I sending you?” She asked showing intrigue at what I had just said to her.
I thought about it with my knowledge of MLP going up to almost midway into season four, there’s a lot of possibilities. So I sit down in a lawn chair and shift into my old body. The sexy one not the trashed one. After a minute of contemplation I had a decision.
I shift back into my changeling form to notice my blades had been sheathed. With another thought I took on a pony form. One pony came to mind the cutest little filly in the world, Scootaloo. Since I wouldn't be running into her anytime soon, I didn't have to worry about it yet. I took on a similar form. My coat was the same orange. While my hair was ink black with streaks of slime green and my eyes were draconic. I could say my dad boinked a dragon and I came out like this or something. Eris’ eyes flashed again.
“That’s actually a good Idea hon. I’ll put that in your backstory. Oh and just so you know, anything we think of before I send you will be real there so let’s do this wisely. Don’t want to wake up Discord too early now do we?”
I decided to take a second glance at my new visage, it was magnificent. With amethyst dragon eyes, orange scaled pony ears, dragon claws, multicolored Pegasus wings…? I didn't question it I just assumed she gave them to me for a reason. I pulled one out it hurt a little but it grew back in a second and put fire to it...nothing. These are feathered dragon wings. Meaning they’re flame retardant,nice. Still looking in the mirror, I notice my mane looked slimy. With a quick claw to the hair I found out it was made of ink and slime. I’m gonna chuck that one in the “because..magic” pile. I felt around for scales and found them matted under fur. I’m gonna have to work on growing more scales somehow. Opening my mouth to notice I had draconic teeth. That meant I could eat meat and gems..fuck yes. I craned my neck to the back a bit to notice an obviously bladed tail that looked more draconic than equine
We went over the details in a quick conversation. She snapped her fingers and boom that was it. I had the strength of the dragons and changelings and the none of their weaknesses. She kept calling me a dragon-kin and that was annoying so I fixed her error.
“I am not a dragon-kin, I am a dragoon! Oh yeah Eris. I need you to make me a colt, for real. For what I have planned I can’t have myself getting caught. Don’t you think I’m gonna need to know my backstory”
“Yes, dear. I can do that, just give me a second. And you can, don’t need to know it now it’ll be pounded in that sweet little head of yours.” Eris told me with love and joy at the fun I would bring to Equestria by my mere presence. How I know this is... come on it’s fucking Eris that’s how. With a snap of her fingers I was a fucking colt. “Where and When do you want to go now that you have a form. One that might cause a problem, might I add. But we’ll burn that bridge when we cross it!” I fucking love this woman!
After my moment of thought, there could only be one place for me. “Take me to the first rainboom incident. My plans include me meeting Rainbow Dash.”
She cringed at the mention of the element of loyalty. But did not question it..much.
I blanched a bit at my name. Max ain't a pony name and it definitely ain't a changeling one. The first order of business was to get myself two new names. Eris was going to send me off but she noticed my thinking face and waited on me.
“Thinking of a name for yourself, I see.” I didn't even question it anymore when she did that.
Taking a moment to ponder on the subject since once I name myself I’m stuck with it. Eris is not the type to allow a redo on something so trivial. One thing came to mind, Hasbro. So I started combing through the male names of Characters they owned not affiliated with MLP but passable for either a dragon or a pony. Then it hit me with one smooth flow from my mouth. “Storm Shadow” Eris didn't laugh at me she actually nodded her head in agreement Storm Shadow it is then. Because, fuck Snake Eyes.
“Sir Storm Shadow, how will you be meeting this filly?” Eris asked in a mock quizzical/sophisticated tone. Eris decides to match the theme and becomes a Draconequus
I just grab her by what I assumed was her waist and dipped and spun her then started waltzing with her. What I can be distinguished. “I plan on flying next to her and keeping up even after the boom. Impossible as it may sound I’m gonna hope that the dragon in me can do it and if I can she’ll try to save me when I lose consciousness.”
She has a look of pure joy on her face. I’m guessing at what my plan implied. Another pony who could sonic boom. I hope she doesn't expect a rainbow because all I’m equipped for is a nickelodeon boom.
“That sounds..amazing, no wondrous. You can do it if you can stay conscious. You might even be able to keep doing it...but no rainbows okay?”
“Eris, oh my queen of chaos. I love you. Did you read my mind that time though?”
“You’ll never know my love.” she snaps her fingers and I’m plummeting from the stratosphere.
As I was falling panic was hitting me and I couldn't help but shriek at the moment. What came out wasn't a shriek but a dragon roar...right I’m a dragoon. Eris said my memories would start flowing but I don’t think she meant this soon. As I came to my senses I stretch my wings out..oh please don’t be like the real scoots.
Luckily enough for me they weren't and I was now gliding instead of falling. Why I was panicking, I don’t know because I’d survive the fall. Oh yeah the pain and of course force of habit. Not used to being indestructible. Now fully calm I take a look at my guided fall with my glorious dragon eyes, instincts now kicking in. I could see various approach vectors and damn could I see far. It was amazing as I let the wind guide me I looked around Cloudsdale was beautiful. There it stood...floated? in all it’s fluffy white glory. I was curious but a small chime in my head later.
“You don’t have time for sightseeing, kick it into gear and follow the wind or you’ll miss her.”
“You’re in my head now? I’m not even gonna ask how” She gave me a small explanation and it was like I thought. I had a mental line to Eris.
I noticed the wind flow in the form of arrows for possible flight paths. I couldn't help but wonder if it was like this for all fliers or just the few with heavily trained minds and bodies. But that was a subject for later, I must go faster. I dove to pick up speed and shot up I was done gliding, it was time to fly. Faster, FAster, FASTER. I can’t miss her or my plans go down the shitter and Eris won’t let me live this down.
A couple of minutes and impromptu turns later. There she was Rainbow Dash, the (eventual) fastest (equine) flyer in Equestria getting ready to start the race I land on the cloud. “Mind if I join ya” I say wow my voice sounds a bit predatory hope I don’t scare her too much.
“Sure miser whatever you are. Saw you flying, you’re pretty fast. But you’ll be coming in second.” She said with with her chest puffed up they bullies did the same. They are so cute if they think I’m scared of them. Fluttershy just kept her head down, but if I didn't know better I’d say she was checking me out.
“Name’s Storm Shadow, my enemies call me the oncoming storm. You miss can call me Storm. and I’m not a ‘whatever’ I’m a…”
“Dragoon...right” Fluttershy finished. Well I’ll be damned it looks like she had some smarts on different species before the fall huh. I felt guilty at what I knew was about to happen to her.
“Correct, now I’d like your names if you don’t mind” I got their names even though I knew them already I didn't even listen to the idiots spout their names jackasses would get theirs in a minute.
When the race began I didn’t look back as Fluttershy fell, knowing full well she’d be just fine. I flew past the fools one after the other leaving me right next to dash. I winked at her while flying at her upside down. A moment of foolishness that would not repeat itself in this race. One of the jerks bumps RD and that causes me to shift a bit and RD to accelerate. Okay the game is on.
I accelerated as much as I could following RD's slipstream the goal was not to beat her but to match her. As She reached the crescendo of her speed I did the same and up we boomed, her leaving a rainbow and me leaving a slime trail. It was awesome. I look her in the eye. “Yes RD, that did just happen. You did a sonic rainboom and I guess I did a sonic slime boom of sorts, and we are still going!” I take one look at her flank to see her cutie mark and look at mine...nada. We boomed across Equestria and of course the predestined events ensued on our return I noticed my plan was failing I was still conscious and we were nearing home plate. I make a mental call to Eris.
“Yes love, I’ll help you redout in 3,2,1.”
I fell to the floor of Cloudsdale RD slowed my descent to an acceptable level and screamed for help. When I came to on my own in a nice bed that smelled nice. I took another whiff, it smelled of a mare. Not the sexy smell albeit but the comforting kind, it smelled like a mother.
“How you feeling, kid. Rainbow brought you home with the help a stallion spouting off some nonsense about her doing a rainboom, names Prism Lilly by the way.”I was laying on the bed back down. it was comfy satin sheets and all. Then one thought came to mind. How the fuck is this bed not...
“Don’t finish that thought or you’ll have an angry mare on your hands. There’s no slime on the bed because you’re trying to be courteous and not fuck up her bed. You have to want to slime something for it to get messy.”

I take a look at who I assume to be RD’s mom and she was a mirror image of her daughter only her beauty was more feminine and her hair was in a bun with chopsticks in it. I look at her cutie mark and it was prism with light shining out of it for a rainbow flower effect. I have no clue what job that ensued. It was time to analyze.
This house looks nice and the bed’s way too big for a single mare. No necklace on her and all photos are of her and RD. And damn was she fit, I could tell even through the robe she had what stallions wanted. *Ding* She’s a whorse, most likely a high end one or a companion of sorts. I just need to ask, fuck subtlety.
“I’m fine, miss Prism.” I say in a “I’m not going to sue you” voice. She gave me a look that said drop the miss. “As for the rainboom nonsense it’s real I was there hell I did a sonic boom myself.” She rolled her eyes in disbelief, I’d have to prove it to her later. Now it’s time for the whammy. “Not to be rude, but after a quick analysis of you and this place. Wow there’s really no nice way to ask this so here it goes. Are you a mare of the “business” ?
Prism blushed at my question and then I knew I hit the nail on the head. “How does a little colt, dragoon or no. Know about the business?” I gave her a who knows gesture and she glares at me. “Don’t even think about blackmailing me twerp, I’m licensed.”
Okay now I was hurt. She thinks I want bits? I gotta straighten this out. “Prism, I’m not trying to pull anything I swear. I just need a place to stay! Let me stay here with you and Dash and I’ll protect you.” Prism was thinking about it. Having a fire breather under her roof meant she wouldn't have to worry about the more violent johns, one proper scream and I would run in mouth ablaze. I could feel her voice over on her face, time to bring it home. “For free!” Yup that had her.
“Can you breath fire?” I ignite a small blaze in my mouth. “Are you strong?” I get out of bed and pick her up with one claw. “And you’ll protect us for food and board?” I nod. Prism takes a moment to gather her thoughts about my proposal. “Okay kid, but I’ll sweeten the pot a bit. You do good by me and I’ll give you an extra treat, sound good?” She put a bit of classy and sexy into it and this time it was my turn to think I nod.
“Oh and I don’t need to go to school so I can follow you or watch dash at a distance. My sensory abilities are that of a dragons not a pony.” She smiles at my acceptance of the deal and joins me in the bed….
Luckily for me and Prism RD was out cold for a while. Considering how small she was, the rainboom completely fucked her metabolism. The only reason she didn't pass out with me was to get us somewhere safe. If it took me, the colt with the godly healing factor an hour to return to the waking world it might take her a full day or two to get back to being herself.
I asked prism if RD knew about her job and she said she did. They needed to eat and she was a MILF , so there was no shame to it when she took to the job. She’s laying next to me cuddling me like a child and not like we just had sex for the past few hours. Prism was a veteran at knowing where and when to flip the sexy switch and by what she told me, she wouldn't quit this job even if I gave her a brick of aluminum (turns out it’s a rare metal here) it was an easy job and she got to feel good doing it (most of the time any way).
“Keep your promise, okay.” Prism said while massaging my feathers. In the medical way not the sexual way, that had already been done. Now how could this become awkward. Rainbow Dash came groggily walking into the room to snap awake and notice her mom servicing me.
“Mom, you didn't!” Prism being a veteran whorse and knowing how to fake it lies. While Dash being young and naive buys it.
I decide to roll with Prism on this one. “She was just comforting me, I was pretty messed up.” To get her to drop the subject, I gave them something that had just come to me, my backstory.
I Started from the part where dragoon eggs are usually crushed on sight by dragons out of fear. Then going into detail on how my egg was dealt with since it wouldn't break. They tossed it in a pit of lava as my mother watched in horror restrained by the enforcers. Their plan to kill me before I lived however was short lived as the lava caused me to hatch. I clawed my way out of the pit and plopped down next to my mother Nova. Now that I was hatched they tried to crush me. My bones made that task impossible, I’d only cut the shit out of anything that tried to hurt me or my mommy. And then I gave them something terrifying to chew on. One of those bastards ate me.
“They ate...you?” Prism and RD said in unison both blanching at the idea of someone eating a foal, which I technically was since I was half equine. I held a claw up in the air to get silence and continued my epic.
When the idiot ate me, the dum-bass actually swallowed. She didn't chew they figured out damn quick that my bones won’t crush, my scales were strong, and I regenerated whenever I was hurt. I clawed my way out of the dumb fuck using my claws since I didn't know how to “unsheathe” my blades yet. Turns out my claws and teeth can gut a dragon and I popped out of her stomach. The dumb-asses hadn't had enough yet they charged at me screaming “abomination” and blew fire at me. Fire to which I ate and spat back at them with twice the force. Since Equestrians know jack shit about dragons I had to explain that...
1.We could remember things from birth.
2.We Should not be able to breathe a mega-flame as soon as we’re hatched. But I did.
3.I had just gone through a rite of passage in ascending from the lava pit and as luck would have it the shaman bore witness
and that saved me from any other would be assailants coming at me yelling the a word I hate so much.
4.Despite my age (in pony years, not my actual age) my mind was the equivalent of a teenagers (that was more for Prism than
dash considering what we had just done).
With that done I continued what little was left. After the assault on me I made it clear that I wasn’t just a foal, I was a warrior capable of protecting what was important to him. So I pretty much got to integrate with the clan and within two years I had grown to the size of an eight year old (once again pony years not dragon). My body didn’t age past that point for a while but my mind got sharper. I made friends with the tribe members and they pushed me to new heights flight came to me within the lunar cycle.
The thought of me flying terrified mommy (yes I said mommy, I’m digging through old memories after all). After accelerated growth rate or not,I was still her baby. My teachers loved me for my ability to learn and grasp the abstract parts of being a dragon. While kids that were twice my (birth) age were struggling to make fire, I was the teachers aid. That part didn’t surprise the pair since they remembered my affinity for fire.
After about a month of flying my ability to see currents and approach vectors kicked in. Apparently I had yet another gift, advanced flight calculation. Mommy was starting to get alarmed at my growth both mental and physical. By that point I was what they saw before them. I had to explain that I am around Prism's age, making me twenty-five (birth age not body type). That made me older than her (she's eighteen). By pony standards I was of age however by dragon standards I was barely older than dash’s age and should not be this size nor should I be thinking like an adult. The clerics had told her that it was natural for a dragoon to grow like I had and to not worry about it anymore, for it would soon stop. She still did of course as all mommies do but she let me grow and didn't smother me like a pony mother would.
Now came the fun part, how I ended up in Cloudsdale. “I’m here on a Pilgrimage to find my true self. Something I could not do at the roost. I would have to live amongst the ponies for a while to find a balance between the two sides of me. Mom agreed that I need to find my own way. Not one that was expected of me.”
I drank a glass of water Prism got for me during a small pause. They liked my backstory and so did I. Both of them had the typical pony reaction..tears of empathy. Sadly they weren't similar in being considerate
“Wow, that was Epic. You totally kicked a bunch of older dragons flanks on your hatching day!” Dash shouted while bouncing up and down in excitement for the action she had just heard.
“Oh sweetheart, you've lived through such strife! It would be my honor to house you for your pilgrimage. If you chose to stay with us ponies feel free to stay here!” Prism cooed. Damn this mare was growing on me.
I preferred Prism’s reaction to Rainbow’s but then again I just think Prism is the better pony since she’s not well, jumping up and down saying how “awesome” it is that I can stay. But her eyes did have a small glimmer in them. I have a feeling that she has yearned for male company beyond the johns that come to and in her. And now she would have it in me. Although I may be a school colt in comparison, I have the a mental capacity far exceeding a young teenager. Meaning I wouldn't be having childish conversations with her, that’s what Dash is for.
After a talk with Prism we tell Rainbow what my role in the house would be. I’m the home security system since I’m a fucking dragoon and school foals would freak out at me being in school I wouldn't be going.
“Oh plop, I was hoping I’d get to have an awesome friend at school!” Dash Shouted
“Young lady, your language!” Prism countered
I just shake my head at the mother daughter display before me. “Prism, you and I both know she could've said something worse. And Dash I don’t want to deal with colts and fillies calling me monster and all that jazz. If you got anything from my story it should’ve been how dangerous it is to get me angry. So yeah, I’ll be avoiding anyone our age for a while. And yes that’s right I refuse to talk like a pony.”
“Well kid, I for one don’t care how you talk so long as you stay classy around my customers. Oh and try to keep my Rainbow Dash out trouble will you.” Damn is she always gonna talk to me with that sexy tone of voice. I hope so!
Prism had to call a few favors to get me citizenship and some ponies wanted more than she could give at the moment I for one was just happy that I had a place to stay and am a proud citizen of Cloudsdale, Equestria.
After my registration was complete, we went shopping for stuff for my room which would conjoin to Prism’s (For security Purposes). We ended up doing most of the shopping at a shop that focused on draconic customers. I ended up getting a nice lava bath for my room and got a normal shower attachment. As it turns out it’s not actually lava, the tub was enchanted and had multiple settings on it lava was just my favorite. Prism insisted on getting me a bed that had a diamond dust mattress. Saying that it would give a dragon the feeling of sleeping with diamonds or other gems and anyone else the feeling of sleeping on a cloud.
“I’m sorry Prism, you’re spending so many bits on me!” I stand on my hind legs, it felt more easing to do so. RD and Prism had gotten used to it but Prism pulled me right back down saying other ponies would find it intimidating. I am such a dumb-ass I didn't even think about that. Back down to all four claws I went.
“Nonsense Storm. If you have such a problem with my charity, consider it a business investment.” I wanted to rebuke that but I couldn't, she had me there. Dash just snickered at my defeat by her mother and was being really quiet.
“Dash why haven’t you been talking much or trying to get Prism to buy something.”
Dash jerks at the mention of her name and looks at me.“Shopping for home stuff is more mom’s thing. I mean, have her suggestions been wrong so far? It’s just not my scene.” Prism rolled her eyes a bit Dash didn't notice that but I did. I say nothing more to the out of her element Dash and embrace something I love doing... shopping (guys can like shopping too you know)
With that over and out of the way, we headed home. For some reason being able to call their home mine as well made me happy. Was this the harmonizing magic of Equestria making it easier for a misfit like me to find happiness?
I heard the tell tale ring of Eris contacting me. “You’re correct Storm, that’s exactly what it is. Crazy shit will happen in Equestria, just do your best to cope and not question it too much.” and the call ended without me saying a thing to her. Well this is going to be fun.
Prism went to make dinner as soon as we got home but I stopped her. “Let me make y’all something. I’m sure you’ll love it!” i I nom a ruby, which tasted like a cherry jolly rancher.
I head into the kitchen and get to business. Considering the pony diet I had to kill most of my ideas for dinner and settled with a nice veggie bowl. The bowl consisted of mashed potatoes, steamed carrots, corn, and a spritz of sour cream. I added a glass of wine for Prism and another for myself to see if I could get away with it. I sat the food and beverages down on the square table that was definitely made out of unpolished quartz. There was an imprint of Lilly’s mark on the table. It was made of a slightly different material I’m gonna say pearl. I’ll take that as a sign of stature and elegance or something.
Turns out I did she figured it would take a metric fuckton to get a me drunk and so she just let me enjoy the wine with her. Prism was at one end and Dash was at another. I, of course was sitting between them. When we’re all done Prism takes the plates. She would allow me to give no objection to the matter.
After that was done we sat on the couch and watched some TV. It was a generic pony sitcom according to Dash but I like it.
“Storm that was a lovely meal, dear” Prism said to me in her mother-like voice with a hint of sexy in it.
“Yeah It was pretty good!” Dash chimed in
I was happy they liked my cooking. “Thanks, you two. The recipe calls for salt and pepper but I didn't know how much salt would be a safe level for a pony since it doesn't do to me what it does to y’all.” I stated in an honest manner.
Prism stated her appreciation of my thoughtfulness and as we finished the show the stuff we purchased for my room came in. The installation team consisted of Pegasi, Griffins,a few unicorns with the cloud walking spell equipped, and one dragoness around my age (technical not official). The unicorns handled the creation of my room and helped with moving some of the more delicate things while the Pegasi and Griffins handled everything else. The dragoness was the one to set up my bath and shower and she calibrated it perfectly.
I rewarded all but the dragoness for the hard work with a veggie bowl. I gave the dragoness my juiciest ruby for her work and she (discreetly) moved her tail just enough for me to see the goods as she walked away. Either she’s trying to bait me for more or I’m exceedingly attractive for my age. As prism and Dash glared at the dragoness I decided to go with the later. Dash yawns and heads for bed. With Prism’s schedule clear for the full day, I decide to do the same.
“Goodnight, mom”
“Goodnight, Prism” We say at the same time.
She blew us both kisses, mine got a wink. Once again Dash missed it. I head up to my newly acquired room and retire for the night.
Rainbow Dash Takes a Dash
It's been a few months since I started living with the girls (yes I'm calling Prism a girl) she's about eight years older than me putting her at twenty. Dash's dad was a cooler who knocked her up on her first estrus. Lightning Blitz was his name and he lived up to it. As soon as prism gave him the news he blitzed outta town. Prism's parent's wanted her to give RD up, she didn't like that and moved out. She didn't tell me much about her hard times but she took to the business quickly to take care of them.
Since I didn’t go to school, I had plenty of time to get to know Prism’s coworkers. Which consisted mostly of pretty mares and a few handsome stallions. The seemed to like me and none of them thought of me as a kid either.
I was just finishing my morning flight after escorting Dash to school. She’d still make a few comments on how “unfair” it was that I didn’t have to go, but I’d remind her how old I really was each time. I've been there already and learned what I needed to know in dragon classes.
I was on my way to meet Prism for a date at this nice restaurant since her schedule allowed for it. I was wearing a denim jacket and a white fedora with a small black metal chain on its rim. What date is complete without some sort of token of affection for the female? Pausing on that thought, I stop at a flower shoppe and buy some Sky Lilies.
“Heh, I’m giving Prism Lilly Sky Lilies!” I couldn't help but laugh at the irony. Making haste to my date, I booked it.
Within minutes, I stared upon the visage of the japanese joint known as the Happy Kappa. I’m gonna enjoy eating sushi with Prism. Stepping into the joint I notice a few familiar faces
“Storm, my boy! What took you so long?” Tender Touch asked. She was a silver pony with a jet black mane and radiant blue eyes. Her cutie mark was a set of hooves kneading something. Her talent was massage, but all hers come with happy endings.
“Yeah we’re hungry, you silly colt!” a voice coming from the left cried. I just groan. Loving Embrace was Tender’s twin sister. Yes that’s right, twin whorses. Her coat scheme was the exact opposite of her sisters and her cutie mark was more of a cradling gesture. Anypony who doesn’t know her would think her talent was foal care. They would be dead wrong, her skill was the nuru massage used in soaplands. I’m not ashamed to say I was a customer. But unlike her foolish customers thinking they’ll get some from her or her sister for that matter, I actually do.
Prism face hoofed.
“Come on have a seat!” All three of the pronounced. This caused an anime style glaring war between them. Being part changeling meant I could see it as if it were.
I chose to sit between Prism and Tender. I could actually see and feel the jealousy and want flowing from Loving. I licked my lips, it was delicious. The four of us enjoyed our lunch and each others company, laughing and smiling like a bunch of idiots.
“Here storm try this one.” Prism Tuna roll
I grab the roll with my tongue, licking it all over while slowly bringing it to my mouth. “Prism, your tuna is so delicious!” I say with a bit of a sultry tone I learned from the guys. The girls were mesmerized. Loving and Tender’s mouths were agape and Prism was blushing a storm. I turn around to see every mare staring at me. “What never seen a dragon tongue before!”

“You are charged with felony level theft and one charge of attempted theft. What do you plead?” The Justicar said.
“Not guilty!” The pegasus pleaded
“Nolo contendere” The Griffon sung a different tune.
I decide to step in for the griffon, who looks like she could be reformed. The pegasus however, was a lost cause. “Are you sure about that” I snap repeatedly for a name to fill the blank.
“Nocturne Sunbeak, sir.” she hung her head in shame. Wait she just called me sir. I must be in “adult mode”. She raised her head and looked at the Justicar. “I say innocent on the felony level theft. But to be honest I’m guilty of misdemeanor level theft and guilty to the attempted theft as well. I swear, I only took what I needed to survive!.” Both the Justicar and I smiled at her honesty.
Being part changeling means I can see emotions, so I’m a damn good lie detector. There was no deceit on her person. That and I had watched the full month and after doing the math, she was right the items she stole were worth about twenty-five bits. That and she didn’t appear until the last second to last crystal.
“You’ll still be doing some time in a prison you lady. You might learn to never commit a crime again after you go to the attic!” Both I and the Justicar didn’t like the tone that “Not guilty”s” father was taking. He was most likely trying to get some heat off his little filly. Well I’m about to take a shit on that.
I get up on my hind legs, putting my claws to my side and begin walking to the bastard. “Sir, that proof the Justicar mentioned just so happens to be video surveillance!” I snarl with a bit of spittle to sell the “Bitch I eat people” angle while saying that. The parents and Not Guilty’s eyes went wide in horror as I pressed play from the beginning crystal. “Now my girl Nocturn, and yes you will be working for me and not Unique since she can’t afford to hire anybody else. Didn’t appear until the second to last crystal!” I put that in to prove my point and then played the snippet from the last crystal. The father of Not Guilty slumped down even further than when I snarled at him when faced with irrefutable proof that his girl had done wrong.
Pulling Unique aside, I pay her the 40 bits for the items Nocturn stole. Unique then dropped the charges made on Nocturn, knowing that after 1 night of working with me she’d have worked off her debt. But at least the girl would have a legit source of income.
“The charges have been lifted from Nocturne Sunbeak. As for…” I didn’t want to know her name “You will be sentenced to work off the twice the amount worth of merchandise you stole by working at the Cloudsdale Department of Sanitation.” The Justicar sternly stated. I couldn’t help but laugh at the fact that the little shit’s gonna be cleaning shit. I love this part of the Equestrian legal system. You have to do something really bad to get thrown in prison and something unthinkable to get sent to Tartarus.
Not Guilty had fucked up because a false plea leads to a double sentence. Not Guilty’s parents were pissed, but there was nothing they could do after being show the hard evidence that she had stolen and had been doing so since the first record crystal. I’m really glad I took the time to make those things.Too bad that the only crystals I can make right now just function as storage devices. Who knows with enough time and engineering, I could make a small computer or telecommunications device.
As the guard and Justicar were leaving with Not Guilty and her parents, I walked up to Nocturne. “I didn’t pay your debt out of charity, it was a business investment. I can feed and clothe you, If you wear clothes at all. And I’ll also give you a roof to live under, but you’ll be working for me as a “service lady”.” Nocturne nodded her head.She must know a good deal when she sees it, I guess. “I’ll be taking forty percent of your daily earnings until you pay off your debt. Then I’ll be getting a twenty percent monthly cut for protection. License or no, some mares and stallions will make violent attempts at muscling in or your action. It’ll take anywhere between a week to a month to pay me off depending on how popular you are and until then, your protection fee is waived.”
Nocturne nodder her head again. “So what about training? I hate to rain on your parade, but I’m not exactly experienced in this.” I raised a scaley brow at her, knowing full well what she meant. I just wanted her to say it, that delicious word that meant she was untouched by anyone. “I’m a virgin okay!”
Gilda and I chuckle a bit, she knows where I’m going with this and Dash had long since left the room. Flying home to jump up and down with glee no doubt. “I’ll be giving you a weeks worth of training, so you’ll be fine. As long as I get my cut after you pay me off, I won’t have Prism fire your ass meaning you get to keep you room and the free meals that come with it. You won’t have to worry about giving her a cut, she gets a fee once the stallion or mare enters her abode and views the catalogue. Not to mention she gets cuts from others but since you’re my enlistee, you won’t have to worry about that.”
Nocturne asks me just how big Prism’s cadre is. So I inform her that it’s big enough to pay for itself four times over since there aren’t many (legal) whordes in Cloudesdale and we are by far the most exotic, thanks to me enlisting others. But for some reason Prism will only let me get a finders fee. I'm sure she’ll waive the cut from Nocturne if I beg (eat the shit out of her) enough. Also the housing complexes are my property, not hers so I have at least some leverage when it comes to this. It’s a good thing that property taxes are relatively nonexistent since we live on fucking clouds.
“You’ll be staying in the Griffon wing, hon.” I say to Nocturne with as much love as I can without being creepy. “So I’ll have GIlda, yes she’s that Gilda take you to your room. Which should be next to adjacent to hers and don’t prod into her personal business or d'Artagnan will have to stab the fuck out of you with, well her rapier.” She audibly gulped at the concept of angering a holy knight of Griffonia. Her training would begin tomorrow, for now I had to send a letter to my old pal Tidus about the shit that just happened. His reaction letter would be funny as all fuck (Yes we write to each other, it’s more private that way).

I thought it necessary to show Prism's work in some chapters and not just mention it in them. So expect some whoring sex scenes every no and again. This will NOT be the last such scene exposing Prism's and now Storms business. I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I did writing it.
