Chapter 1-Got Coffee? [latest update 6/19-COMPLETE]

One day in the magical land of Equestria, Twilight was in her small treehouse, ready to open her lavender eyes. She yawned, and was ready to open the window and wake up Spike.
"Spike! Time to wake up! It's morning already." Twilight opened the blinds. Ponyville was just looking normal as always.
"Uh...uhhhhhhhhh...jusph one mor minuph. Ohhhhhhh..." Spike fell back to sleep, and Twilight went downstairs to make breakfast. Spike was supposed to, but, she could do him a favor today. Twilight planned to start the day with some coffee to wake her fully up, as her vision was a bit blurry. Scooping up a hoof full of gems, she looked at the reflections in the gems. She scanned herself, and saw her mane tangled. Twilight let out a small groan, and trotted back upstairs to brush her mane. The magical aura wrapped around the pink brush, and she knew she would only take a few minutes away from her day.
Meanwhile, Spike aroused to the daylight penetrating through the window. He walked downstairs to see Twilight brushing her mane, so he decided to not interrupt her business. The dragon walked down another staircase into the kitchen, and saw the pile of gems on the table. Spike also saw the coffee on the counter, so he took it over to the table. But to his surprise, he tripped over a wooden floorboard protruding from the basement ceiling. He obviously dropped the coffee, and spilled it all over the floor. He looked around for a mop, but couldn't find one in the usual place where Twilight and he would put it, next to the door. The coffee eventually flowed to the stairs leading to the basement. The dragon walked downstairs to see the cofe To his horror, the machines malfunctioned. The lights were suddenly flashing, the magical clamps opened and closed, magic sparked from the charging tips, and the research papers came sprouting out.
"HELPPPPPPPP." Spike yelled. Twilight had finished brushing her mane, and was heading downstairs. But when she heard that, she ran to the basement. The basement was a mess. Cofe and paper was everywhere, covering the walls and coating the floors. She found Spike, and asked what had happened.

"Ya'll reafy fer sum buckin'?" Big Mac was getting ready to swing out the barn door and trot outside into the trees.
"N't bukin' nutin' 'til' ah git sum no Cofe," Applejack went back inside and brewed some coffee. ""House Roast Coffee". N't bad fer ah name." She read the Ponyville packaging, and poured the water in the mug. She turned around, and immediately tripped over an apple. Crash. "Really? Dis ain't no way t' start no mornin'."
Carousel Boutique
Sweetie Bell got up from bed and jumped on Rarity to get up.
"AUGGGGHHH" was an unpleasant sound that came from Rarity. Her eye cover things flew across the room, into a mirror, then down into Rarity's daily coffee."Really? Not fair. Sweetie Belle, would you be a dear and go fetch some new coffee from the fridge?" Sweetie Bell grunted and walked to the coffee maker at Sugarcube Corner.
"" was what it said on the display screen. Sweetie Bell was too lazy to make more coffee, so took a bit she stole from Rarity, and pushed it into the tiny slot. She pushed "". A door opened, and a cup came out. The machine dispensed brown liquid into the cup, some white liquid, some white powder, and some small crystals that looked like small sized sugar. A green light exploded from the machine, causing Sweetie Bell to cover her eyes. Then, as she adjusted her eyes, there was a coffee sitting there, ready to be consumed. The machine disappeared however, to Sweetie Bell's confusion, but she didn't mind. She took the coffee, and headed back to the Carousel Boutique.
Meanwhile back at the Carousel Boutique, Rarity was getting impatient, and she already finished breakfast. However, she still wanted that coffee. So, she trotted over to the door to open it. Sweetie Bell was unlucky being behind the door, and was about to open it too, when her face met wood. Rarity looked outside, and walked out to examine her newly grown flowers. Sweetie Bell was crushed behind the door, and her body was flat against the exterior wall. The coffee (was unfortunately) crushed too. Coffee was spilling out from behind the door, and flowing down to the river. *Gasp* "These flowers are absolutely amazing! I'll add a replica of this to a hat of mine!" Rarity grabbed some flowers and returned back in the Boutique, preparing to make a fabricated replica. "Hmm, I'll make one for my- uhhhh... Never mind."

"Ahhh. So comfortable. I wish I could never leave this bed. I just need a cup of coffee to warm me up. *grabs from bedside table, sip* Ahhhh. Soooo good. OH NO" Rainbow Dash spilled her whole cup of coffee all over her bed, now a cyan blue bed with a brown stained cutie mark. "Dang. Time for more coffee."
Fluttershy's Cottage Cabin
"Lalalalala, time to feed the animals. hmhmhmhmhm..." Fluttershy takes out a bag of feed and pours some on the floor. Everyone eats away, while she walks back to the kitchen, and pulls out coffee beans to grind. She pours the powder into the brew, and makes coffee, only to be stopped from drinking it by a squirrel knocking it over. "Oh no, that was the last of my coffee. I'll need to go buy some more, sorry Angel. I'll be back soon! I promise. Fine, one biscuit. Two biscuits? Three? oh, you've got to be kidding me. Fine, here you go. One whole bag of biscuit treats. Share, ok?"
Sugarcube Corner
*Sigh* Pinkie Pie sat up, and jumped off the bed. "YAY TODAY WERE GONNA HAVE A CUPCAKE EATING CONTEST but I need some coffee to make me more hyper to make more cupcakes." She made some coffee at the coffee machine in her kitchen, and poured 5 cups of coffee. *gulp* *gulp* *gulp* *gulp* *gulp* "YUMMY NAO IM MOAR HIPER I NEEEED MOAR CAFEEEE!"

"Ummm yes." Rainbow Dash put on her sunglasses.
"OmiMahCelestia What is wrong with your mane?" Rarity pointed at Applejack's mane.
"Nothin', ah jus' OMIMAHCELESTIA Mah mane is messed up. Ah forgot t' wear mah bands." Applejack was pointing to where her mane band and her tail band should've been.
Twilight chuckled."I guess you girls all forgot to brush and maintain your manes and tails. Also, we all ran out of coffee, *looks at brown stained manes and hoofs* or something bad happened." Everypony blushed and chuckled too.
They entered the coffee shop, and instantly met a sign that said:
OUT OF COFFEEThe town is now experiencing a shortage in coffee.We are terribly sorry for the inconvenience, but we will be closing down.Please help. If you have any coffee, Please bring it here. We would be highly appreciated.
"What????? Awwww, dang. No coffee." Rainbow Dash turned around, and walked out.
"Wait!"Twilight pulled back Rainbow Dash.
"What?"
"We can find some coffee beans, and use my cloning machine to clone itbring them back here, so the shop can reopen, and everypony can get coffee!"
"Awesome! But, where do we get coffee? This is the only coffee shop in all of equestria. There has to be some way that the pony behind the counter got those beans, let's start there."
"Alright, everypony! Did ya hear that? Let's go!"

"Ohhh. So Gilda must've told them all about..."

"Us Ponies, just us, duh. I mean, that's not bad, that's cool. We would've been ripped to shreds if Gilda didn't."
"Well, that's good to know, but let's look at the bigger problem. The train is still back there, and the giant muffin blew up into tiny muffins. Now you tell me, how are we supposed to get to Vanhoover?" The Mane 6 couldn't come up with any good ideas, so they all decided to walk. Applejack pulled out the main map of Equestria, and the Mane 6 gathered around.
They were in the middle of Unicorn Range, about one fourth of the way through. Rainbow Dash lied down on the ground of exhaustion, and the others planned on what they were going to come across, mostly with Twilight. After a few ten minutes, they started to walk up the mountain pass. The trail looked like it was endless, but they could see a few houses in the distance, and that was part of their hope. They had packed everything they needed, not counting the cupcakes. Rainbow Dash hated being so slow, so she flew forward to see the clearing. There were a few shacks, not much like Vanhoover. She groaned again, and flew back to share the news. * "Everypony Jaw Drop!" * So they set up "camp" at the small town, using Twilight's alicorn magic, while Rarity was trying to find a more comfortable and less dirty place, and they stayed for the night.

The next morning, Celestia's sun was shining up high in the sky, and the Mane 6 were all awake, ready to go on another walk . The mountain pass was more narrow this time, with jagged edges protruding the "canyon". They finally rose up from the mountains after walking for thr-

The Mane 6 quickly got on, and went off on the Ponyville Express, Deluxe. When they got to Vanhoover, only 2 beans were ready to be harvested.

The train went over a canyon bridge, and they could see the forest right up ahead. The train shuddered.
"What's wrong? Is something wrong with the train again?"
"I'm pretty sure there's nothing wring with the train. Maybe the bridge is a bit bumpy."
"Wut's wrong with th' bridge? Ah don't see no nutin'. Maybe it's ta train after al- What in carnation?" Applejack was brought to attention by the sound of wood cracking- Maybe the train floor was cracking? She thought.
The train was speeding over a bridge, with the bridge emitting cracking sounds. Twilight: O_O
"I can't stop the train! The train's too fast for lil' ol' Tim.(The brake) Plus, the train can't go backward! It's the Ponyville Express, after all! Not good ol' Canter."

The train teleported to a desert in the middle of nowhere. Everypony got out, alarmed and panicked by the exterior sight.

"Sorry, I was just focusing on to get us off the bridge, but not where we would go. Should I teleport us to Ponyville, and teleport to Neighagra Falls?"
"Sure, fine, do what ever ya want. Just get me back to what we were supposed to be doing."

"It didn't work. We don't have enough strength..."

Rarity looked amongst the sides of the dirt path, which she highly disliked. She found one with her item finding ability, and lifted it up.
"I found one!"
"Yes! Now quick, send it to Twilight!"
"Alright. nuuuuuuhhhhh"

The coffee bean appeared out of nowhere, and landed on Twilight's head. Plip-Plip
"Really? She can't drink it. Somepony has to help her!"

Twilight looked over the folded and aged map, admiring its freshly printed golden scroll paper edges, but she knew that she had no time for that. She turned over to the legend and POI side, with the Celestia Seal printed at the bottom right edge, with the ink still fresh. Hmmm. They somehow got in the middle of-
"Wha? Ah thought we were halfway int' Unicorn Range, How'd we git t' Neighagra Falls? Tis' ain't right."
"Something's not right here. Fluttershy, do you remember what happened?"
"We were headed through Unicorn Range, and you two girls teleported us somewhere. It was probably... Dodge Jun-"
"Maybe someplace near Neighagra Falls? 'cause we're here right now. Ya know, I could be circling a view right now."
"Ah think you could. It's pretty easy for ya to fly really fast anyways. Why don' ya git up there and give us uh hand?"
"Yeah, sure whatever. I'll just go take a look."
With that, Rainbow Dash flew up high into the sky and raised a hoof to shield herself from the evening sunlight.

The Mountains

"OmiMahCelestia!" Rarity looked around the mountain pass, and it was pretty narrow.
"Can somepony tell me why we're here again?" Fluttershy wanted to go home, but she thought it was best to stay with her friends. After all, she needed coffee too.
"Fluttershi, we're her fer yer cafe. Right, Pinkie?" Applejack turned to Pinkie, who was trotting behind Spike.
"Riiiiiiiiiight! CAFE IS THE BEST THING TO HAmmphhdppmhh-" Pinkie was immediately cut off by Rainbow Dash, who put a hoof in her mouth.
"That's enough Pinks. Now let's get our coffee. Speaking of coffee, what do ya girls like?"
"Medium House Roast," Twilight said.
"Cupcake Surprise!!" Pinkie added. Is that even a coffee? Twilight thought. Hmmm. I'll go read about it in my books. Maybe I can even write an article!
"Apple Frappe House Roast," Applejack thought of her coffee machine again.
"Sweet Light Crush," Rarity said.
"Rainbow Roast, With many different beans inside," Rainbow Dash held an imaginary coffee cup.
"I'd like just some... uhhh...actually any type of coffee is fine for me," Fluttershy added. They walked up the mountain, and saw the first coffee bean.
"Yay!!! Coffee for me! That's mine!"

Um, ok. You can have yours first. Twilight thought. After some walking, they still couldn't find any coffee beans. Pinkie already finished her cup of coffee, and was jumping for more. Twilight sighed, and Rarity turned around to see her walking back.
"Wait! Darling, don't go yet! We still have much more land to explore anyways." Rarity put a hoof on Twilight's shoulder, and she turned back.
"Look, we have been walking for- well, I suppose if anyone has any shortcuts? Maybe we can cut some corners so we can go go back to our own ways. I still have to finish a report to Celestia." Twilight asked.

"I suppose I could use my gem finding spell, which I practiced a lot, so now I could find anything that we missed. We could do that with Applejack and Pinkie Pie, too."

"YAY I FOUND A BEAN ITS SO TINY ITS MINEEEEEEEE" Pinkie grabbed the bean.
"No, you already got one. This one, we could give to Rainbow Dash, so she could fly faster with a boost from a cup of coffee." Twilight said.
"Alrighty then. Dashie gets one!"Pinkie Pie handed the bean up to Rainbow Dash.

Rainbow Dash flew off, leaving a rainbow trail. Pinkie jumped, trying to catch it. "Really Pinkie? Sometimes, I just don't really know about you."Spike commented.
"Alright! So now we have only 3 beans. I can't believe it!" Rarity said.
"You know that we could always ask the Princesses for help right?" Twilight suggested.
"Twilight! You silly filly, you think the Princ-" Pinkie Pie was stopped yet again by Rainbow Dash.
"...do care about coffee? Of course they do. they drink tea most of the time though..."Rainbow Dash added.
"Ya no, it's kinda worth a shot. Ain't no bad things, goin' t' happen? Ah don't think so." Applejack straightened her hat.
"We've been missing coffee here too, the Royal Guards say the kitchens are out of coffee too. But, I drink coffee, my sister drinks tea. I guess I could show you where you could get coffee. This is where I got coffee." Celestia pulled out a map, and unrolled it.
"You can go to Vanhoover, they always have coffee beans. If not, then go to the Neighagra Falls forest. That forest is known to have the best coffee beans within. These are the two places where we always get coffee if we don't have any." Celestia rolled the map again and made it vanish with a "Poof".
"Thanks!" Twilight waved and teleported to Vanhoover with the other mane 6.trotted outside with the Mane 6. They made their way to the train station, and waited. and waited. and waited. and waited. and waited. and waited. and waited. and SHUT UP

CHAPTER 3
The Ponyville Express sped through acres of endless green terrain, with the tracks burning of friction. The Mane 6 were in the main car, and watched as the train chugged. They were heading to Vanhoover, the city of- "Why is the train stopping?"Twilight broke the silence, suddenly becoming well aware of what was happening. The train was stopping. It had slowed down to a stop, and the Mane 6 looked out the windows to see what was going on. Nothing was to be of interest, so they got off the train. A "Welcome to Unicorn Range" sign was on the right side, with a picture of a unicorn. The surrounding grasslands were just like any old prairie. Tan colored grasslands. Boring. They walked up to the locomotive, and saw the engine smoking. The cover was opened, revealing the machinery inside. The train pony glanced up, "Sorry. Guess we're going to be here for a while." Rainbow sighed. Suddenly, Derpy popped out of the train. Of course. She was an alicorn princess, and so was Twilight, Luna, Celestia, Cadence, and all the other alicorns. She had the power to summon muffins. How cool.
Mane 6 got: +1 x Derpy NEW CHARACTER!

She summoned three muffins, and ate two. Then, she held one up for Twilight to eat.
"Oh! No, it's fine. You can have it."
"You sure?"
"Yes, or you could give it to somepony else like the train pony. He looks like he's working pretty hard. Want to give him a boost?"
"Sure. I would be glad to help out somepony in need."
OMN NOMN NOMN The train pony sure eats loud. Looking past the prairie, the mountain range towered over the train. Derpy summoned a muffin (shaped) cookie, a muffin hat, a muffin balloon(one you can ride in), a muffin clock, a muffin SHUT UP
nearby. The Mane 6 were so surprised, as Princess Derpy could do all that. Twilight looked at the balloon, and got an idea.
"Why don't we ride in the muffin balloon instead of the train?"
"Great idea! But it goes terribly slow..."
"We can let Rainbow Dash pull it." Rainbow Dash groaned, but agreed. She tied a rope to the front, and tied the other end to herself. The others got on, and Rainbow Dash took off. She flew past the mountains in a blast, and the other five Mane 6 had to hold onto the cords to stay in the basket.
An arrow suddenly flew up from the ground, and struck the basket. Rarity screamed, and another arrow hit a cord. So accurate, whoever or what ever is throwing these arrows. But, We must be careful. One strike on the giant muffin and we go down. Rarity screamed as a third one hit a sand bag. Sand fell out, flowing freely out. Now, the balloon was slightly tilted. Applejack cringed, and leaned to the side it was tilting off. One arrow struck the muffin, and muffins came flying out through the hole. Muffins??? I thought that was helium. The balloon descended fast, and muffins now covered the Mane 6. Rainbow Dash struggled to keep the balloon up. After all, pulling 6 ponies, a muffin filled balloon, and a basket, was very hard for only one pegasus. The balloon landed hard, and a few griffons were standing upon the wreck. He took one look at Rainbow Dash, and walked away.
"Well..."
