Not Ready For That!

The rest of that night were just the two princesses and I talking about the, “EAT THIS SUCKER!” incident.  I was so nervous just floating in front of those doors while we began to talk. When they told me they were both princesses and sisters made me even more nervous. So it turns out they can move the sun and the moon! I mean you have to admit, that is very impressive!

"So Nick, can I ask you stay here in the castle? I would love to ask some questions about your world tomorrow with the bearers.” Celestia asked with a hint of curiosity in her voice.

“What now?” I wonder what the bearers are, sounds important.

“We will talk more of this subject come tomorrow. For now you should get some rest…unless you are nocturnal. Are you nocturnal?”

“Oh no, I’m not nocturnal. But where am I going to rest? I mean, wouldn’t the beds be too small for me?” I had always been a quick thinker at these situations, so that question had come naturally to me.

“THY MAY, ERR… Sorry. Still trying to get used to this knew speech type.” All three of us shared a quick laugh at this.

“Anyways…Tia, your bed is the same size as mine right?”

“Where is this going?”

Celestia (or ‘Tia’) narrowed her eyes in suspicion, and grew an odd smile, “Yes little sis, that they are.” Now it is my turn to get suspicious. “WELL…he could sleep in my bed while we sleep. My bed may be the same size, but because I am smaller than you I have a little more room.” At this point my eye’s felt like they were going to grow out of there sockets. I looked to Tia only to see a very serious look on her face. “Are you calling me fat sis?” Oh god…I have seen cat fights back on earth and they were not pretty. Now there were two princesses, not with grabby hands but with hard hooves. “Time to stop this before something happens!”

“HEY! No need for violence. Celestia, what she was meaning was that because you are older than her she is smaller…”

“Now if this doesn't work, I’m so screwed.” I was directly in between the two fuming royal sisters. Tia mad because she was just basically called fat, and Luna because of being accused of calling her big sis fat. Both sisters looked at me simultaneously and grind. “You know he is right Tia.”

Tia looked straight at Luna with the same grin. “I’m sorry Luna. Want a hug?” As they started to lean in for a hug all I could think of was, “CRAP!”

That night may have been a little disturbing from the fact that after one day I was sleeping alongside the princess of the night, but I have to admit…that was one comfortable bed! As I was getting out of the bed I could feel something warm draped across my body. I shortly found out it was one of Luna’s wings.

“Hmm…This may be a slight problem.”

“KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK!”

“Whoever is banging on that door is really loud…”

“KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK!”

As I started to move Luna’s wing which was temporarily immobilizing me from any motions, the knocking started to get louder and faster, “Uhh…and really persistent!”

Man could that princess sleep! It was like a drier having shoes shuffled and clanging in it. All in all, it was very annoying!

“Ya…I’m getting there!” I opened the door to see a frantic alicorn. Ya that were one of the few words I learned about the last night. This alicorn on the other hand, was as small as the guards around here…that includes her horn. She had a lavender colored coat and had a purple mane with a pink strip running through it. Did I mention that she was pretty frantic over something?

“Princess Luna! Princess Celestia told me that the creature was in hea…oh.” This new princess and I stood there for what seemed like hours, just staring…and staring…and staring…Until I cleared my thought, “Yes the creature is here, you’re looking at it. Also, you can just call me Nick.” She shook her head wildly before speaking, “You can Talk!?!? Well anyways Nick, princess Celestia requested for me to tell both you and Princess Luna that breakfast is ready. Also, why are you in the princess’s room?” Well that was a respectful question, “I’ll tell you that later at breakfast.”

“Ahh, Princess Twilight Sparkle! It is a pleasure to see you this morning. I see you have met Nick here. He is our guest in the castle.” I may not have met royalty back on earth, but I knew that bowing was respectful…so I bowed, “I’m so sorry Princess… you see I never really met any royalty until now.”

So with all that said, we started down the hall to the eating area. This place was massive! I never saw the outside before I came in since I passed out. At one point I saw the guard that ate a mag of BB's looking at me with a look of, “I’m going to KILL YOU!” plastered across his face.

“Note to self: Stay clear of Commander Pissed Off. CHECK!”

After a few more minutes of walking we finally got to two double doors that had a food emblem on them.

I knew what we were about to do but I still had to ask, “So… now what?”

“Well now that we are here, you will be properly introduced to the rest of the bearers. After that you will then be introduced to the rest of Equestria. We have already made a public announcement to Canterlot about this and messengers will be sent to the rest of the land.” I really had no problems with small introductions, but to the hole land is a bit much. I don’t know how large Equestria is so I mean this can be the biggest introduction known to mankind! What really made my stomach turn was ALL of the LAND was going to know me. I was NOT social back on earth, so going from one to three people knowing me, to all of existence on this world is not going to be easy on me.

The doors opened and I was greeted by all of the eyes in the room. Now, to my knowledge I was going to be introduced to some ponies and be on with it. WRONG! I saw a pony with holes in it, a zebra, dogs, and birds. They were all seated around one long table filled with food. One thing caught my eye very quickly. Remember how I was a quick thinker? Well… I was expecting hey and fruit because ponies last I checked were herbivores.

“Why hello Nick, please have a seat. I had everyone to leave you a seat near a part of food. We have no knowledge of what you’re species eat. I do hope we have some edible food for you.” I noticed a hint of concern in her voice. I decided to ease her concern about my appetite. As I began to seat myself besides one of the birds I spoke, “No worry’s Princess. Humans are omnivores, so we can eat both meat and plants.”

Before anyone could respond to my comment the bird… thing raped its talons around my neck and jostled me before saying, “Well hey! You eat meet like me and you look tough in that umm… suit thing! You are good with the Griffon kingdom!”

“Commander Silver Wing, please be a little gentler with our guest.” I there went Tia with her usual concern in her voice. Once again I reassured her, “It is ok Princess, I believe that we need some introductions…” I then stood from my place, “As you all know, I am

Nick I am a Human.” Now Silver then stood to introduce himself, “Well Nick, as you heard the Princess I am Commander Silver Wing, and I am a Griffon.” Then came the holed pony, “I am Queen Chrysalis and I am a Changeling” Now the one… the only… ZEBRA! “My name is Zecora and I am a Zebra.” Then last but not least, “My name is Rune and I am a Diamond Dog.”

“Ok then… now there only leads you ponies. Are you the famous bearers I have been hearing about?” I was about to address Princess Twilight when I was basically assaulted by one of them. Who might this be you ask? Well I haven’t gotten their names yet so that will just have to wait. I can tell you what she looked like.

This very enthusiastic pony was bright pink, was what is called an earth pony, and was somehow levitating upside-down about three inches from my face.

Now she didn't assault me physically. Oh no! She assaulted my ears! Well if you don’t believe me, this is what she said…I think, “Ohmygoodness! We’refamous! Oh! Ineedtostartplannin a‘WelcometoEquestriaNick!’Party!” Before I could even speak a word I was looking at a dust shadow slowly dissipating.

“I…umm…what…just…huh…”

“I’m sorry Nick. You will have to excuse Pinkie Pie. She gets a little… excited.” Twilight spoke out trying to ease my confusion.

“She. Just. Screwed. LOGIC! HOW IN THE WORLD CAN SHE DO THAT WITH EASE?!?! Um… sorry about that. I’m still adjusting to talking animals.” All species in the room had a nice little laugh at my outburst…accept me.

“Well ok Nick. As you know, I’m Twilight Sparkle; bearer of the element of Magic.” Bowing her head I could see a tiara with a pink star in the middle.

“Guess its ma’ turn. The names Applejack, and it’s good ta’ meet ya’. I’m the bearer of honesty.” She stood and puffed her chest out to reveal a necklace with an orange apple.

“Well I’m Rainbow Dash, and I’m the best flyer in ALL of Equestria! That makes me the coolest one here. Top THAT!” Because she was flying I could see the same type of necklace as Applejack's, the only thing different was a red lightning bolt replaced the orange apple.

“Well, I out ran about one hundred royal…”

“One hundred and thirty-three to be precise.” Both Luna and Tia corrected me.

“Well, I out ran about one hundred and thirty-three royal guards yesterday wearing all my gear, which weighs about fifty pounds”

“Well that’s cool I guess. Anyways I’m the bearer of loyalty.”

“Ok…well my name is Fluttershy and I’m…The umm… bearer of kindness…” Necklace again…

Assault on ears once more on my mark… 3, 2, 1… INCOMING PINKIE! “Yep, that’s Fluttershy for you! As for me, I’m Pinkie Pie and I am the bearer of laughter!” Aaaaannnnd… dust cloud. This time I couldn't tell what she had for her Element, I’m just going to assume a necklace.

The last to stand was a little different, she was wearing actual clothing. She had an all-white dress that had a few purple lines running down the back of it. It actually looked pretty nice.

“Well I suppose I’m the last one. My name is Rarity; bearer of Generosity.” She then presented another necklace. “I must ask darling, why are wearing armor?”

“Oh this is actually meant for…”

“War.” I was once again interrupted by a new voice directly behind me. As I looked up, all the others were looking behind me with feared expressions.

“I have a very bad feeling about this… Oh screw it!” I whipped my head around to see yet another… Alicorn… Wait What?
