Previously, Phantasma had invited the mane six, Derpy Hooves and Spike the Dragon to meet her on a train to an unknown location. When the train had reached a point far enough away from mainstream civilisation, Phantasma had begun to talk to the invited ponies and dragon. She had told them why she invited them, who she was and how she knew so much about them, but little else.

Our story continues on the same train as before. Rainbow Dash managed to regain her composure before anypony else.
The blue pegasus rigorously shook her head from side to side before asking "What's so special about being The Pony from the Shadows?" she asked.
Phantasma smiled, while looking semi-psychotic and said "Multiple things Rainbow Dash, the least of which is my ability to vanish without alerting anypony who is watching," with that she disappeared.
The mane six turned to face outwards and split up to look for Phantasma, who reappeared behind all six of them. Rainbow Dash turned around and notified her friends of Phantasma's appearance.
The red mare looked out of the carriage window and said "We're nearly there."
Rainbow Dash asked "Where are we exactly, because I don't recognise this place at all."
"You should, we're near the Crystal Empire, but we won't be visiting, there's business to attend to" answered Phantasma.

The mane six, Derpy and Spike looked out of the windows and saw the Crystal Empire growing smaller as they sped away. They all wondered where they were going for a moment before the train ground to a halt and Phantasma told them that they had reached their destination. When everypony had vacated the carriage, they were met by a steel door in the side of what appeared to be a large glacier. Spike gulped, Derpy flew muzzle first into the face of the wall of ice and the mane six gazed in awe. Phantasma casually walked up to the door and used a spell on it causing it to open.
The red mare said to Twilight "That my magically gifted acquaintance is a spell I have recently mastered, it is a magical lock that only opens when I use a particular spell on it, I will grant you access to it should I be unable to return here for any reason but the spell will only be revealed to you in a dire situation."
Twilight nodded slowly before asking "What is this place, and why are we here?"
Phantasma replied "This is my home, it's where I grew up and now it is where I have gathered all the facts on the threat to Equestria and linked them to one another."

When they got through the door the eight guests were greeted with masses of threads which meant that negotiating their way around the ice cave became a hassle, meanwhile Phantasma traversed the room with ease as she had done this many times before. When Twilight got to the converging point of the threads the saw a rather cluttered board with pictures of Discord, Scorpio, Tyrek, Sunset Shimmer's demonic form, and what the beast looked like. The being that was threatening to bring down Equestria looked very similar to Discord however all four of his legs were equine and he had large horns protruding from just behind his ears, however his size remained that of a draconiquous. Fluttershy saw this picture and screamed, her eyes burst into tears and she huddled herself up into a reasonably foetal shape.
Phantasma slowly approached her so she didn't startle her and said softly "We'll get your friend back, whatever it takes. I know how much he means to you after all you are the one who showed him the magic of friendship." She then turned to the others and said "On a partially related note, now that you've seen the information I have gathered, how about we put our heads together and get working on a-" however she was cut off by Derpy hitting her in the back of the head with the pegasus' forehead. Phantasma blacked out. When she awoke she saw Derpy crying, and the other ponies staring at her. She asked what had happened and they all tried explaining except Derpy who continued to cry.

Phantasma said "One at a time, you're giving me a worse headache than I already have"
Twilight said "Derpy Hooved head-butted you, causing you to black out, Rainbow Dash saw this and shouted at Derpy who didn't understand what she had done, which made Derpy cry. Meanwhile me, Fluttershy, AJ, and Rarity started trying to revive you while spike had a look around your home, then you regained consciousness and that's where we're up to right now"
Phantasma got up on her hooves and walked up to Derpy before embracing her reassuring her that she was fine and that there was nothing to be worried about. Derpy slowly and hesitantly stopped cyring and hugged Phantasma, the unicorn was surprised by this at first before hugging Derpy back.
Phantasma tapped Derpy on the foreleg and said "Come with me, let's get you a nice soft muffin." With that Derpy juped for joy, narrowly avoiding the threads running across the expanse that was the main work room of Phantasma's humble abode. Rainbow Dash nudged Twilight, when the lavendar pony looked to see what her friend wanted, Rainbow simply grinned. When Twilight understood what her friend was getting at she smiled and chuckled to herself.
