Courtroom No.2

June 12

1:00 p.m.

"Hey Trixie, didn't Flash Sentry go with you?" Phoenix asked.

"Yes. That bumbling fool accompanied Trixie on her investigation, that's how a I got the tape." Trixie answered.

"Where is he then?" Phoenix replied.

"Well he stayed behind so he could find the Crystal Heart." Trixie said.

"What?!" Twilight called out. "You mean you left that idiot alone in the Changeling Empire???"

"HEY!" Trixie shouted. "He asked me to!"

"Yea right!" Dash exclaimed. "Everypony Lies. I bet you left him there so you could cash in all the credit!"

"I think maybe we have another trial to hold afterwords. You left him ta die didn't you." Applejack agreed.

"SHUT UP!!!" Trixie yelled. "HE ASKED ME TO LEAVE HIM SO HE COULD GET THE HEART! IF ANYONE YOU SHOULD BE MAD AT TWILIGHT! HE'S SHOWING OFF TO GET HER ATTENTION!!!"

With this Trixie ran out and slammed the door behind her.

"Hey why you looking at me like that Nix?" Rainbow asked afterword.

"I think you owe Trixie an apology. You and Applejack both." Phoenix answered.

"The heck I do!" Dash exclaimed.

"Ya, you weren't here! She's a show off and a bully! She tried ta take over Ponyville and run Twilight away!" Applejack defended.

"But can't you see she's trying to overcome that and be your guy's friend?" Phoenix replied. "She's trying to change."

"B-but!" Dash pleaded.

"No. No buts." Phoenix said firmly. "Tomorrow before the trial you and Applejack are going to apologize to her!"

"Whatever." Rainbow Dash said with her head down.

"Speaking of which." Edgeworth interjected. "The trial tomorrow. Do you know how you're going at it?"

"Ehehehe." Phoenix laughed awkwardly. "Imma wing it!"

"You're hopeless." Edgeworth sighed.

Changeling Empire

June 12

1:30 p.m.

"Shit, shit, shit." Flash Sentry screamed, as he ran away from the hoard of Changelings he had alerted he was present. "I really need to learn when to shut my mouth!"

"Give usss the Cryssstal Heart back and we'll let you live." One of them said.

"No! I need to get this back to Mr. Wright so he can prove your Queen and Princess are the real murderers and not Princess Cadance!" Flash remarked.

"You foooool." the Changeling replied. "We are giving you a chance to surrender and you choose to die?"

"If that means that justice prevails, than yes." Flash shot back.

"Hahaha justice he says! What a laugh!" the Changeling spat. "Kill him and retrieve the Heart!"

("Oh man. I really dug myself deep this time. 6 feet deep it seems.") Flash thought. ("Forgive me, Princess Cadance, Mr. Wright...Princess Twilight.")

Outside The Courthouse

June 12

1:30 p.m.

"Stupid, losers, I hate them all!" Trixie shouted. "I try to do one good thing for them and they throw it into my face!"

"Trixie." Phoenix said approaching the upset mare.

"What do you want?!" She shouted.

"Hey now. I just want to help you." Phoenix replied calmly.

"Haven't you helped me enough?" Trixe huffed. "I tried being their friend and they just act like I'm the criminal in this case."

"I'm not saying that they're right, but it seems like you've done some pretty nasty things to them a while back." Phoenix said.

"Yea...But still I'm trying to make up with them!" Trixie replied.

"Well, sometimes you need to look outside the box and choose a new perspective. Try looking at this from their point of view." Phoenix calmed.

"O-ok."

"Can you see why it may be hard for them to trust you?" Phoenix asked after a few seconds.

"A little." Trixie answered. "I really am sorry."

"I know you are." Phoenix said. "Now what to do about this trial tomorrow?"

"You'll do fine." Trixie said walking off.

"Where are you going?" Phoenix asked as she got up.

"To wright a wrong." Trixie answered.

("Why is it only funny when I'm not the one who says it?") Phoenix thought.

Courtroom No.2

June 13

7:00 a.m.

"OK!" Judge Harshwhinny announced. "Today is the last day the Court will listen to the case of Princess Mi Amore Cadenza. Today it is to be decided whether she or Princess Larvia of the Changeling Empire is the murderer of Cadance's late husband and Captain of the Guard, Prince Shining Armor!"

"The Defense is Ready Your Honor!" Phoenix said standing up tall. ("At least I hope I am...")

"And the Prosecution?" Judge Harshwhinny asked.

"The prosecution has just arrived." Celestia said as she took her place as Phoenix's Co-Council. "Mr.Wright I think you might know her. We were on such short notice we summoned another friend of yours."

("Her? That could only mean...") Phoenix thought

Suddenly the sound of a whip cracked.

"The Prosecution is ready!" A female's voice rang out.

"O-oh no." Edgeworth worried. "Franziska..."

"OK! I want to know who you allowed to impersonate my father!" Franziska Von Karma yelled, seemingly directly to Phoenix.

"N-nice to see you too." Phoenix sighed.

"The only reason I agreed to take this case is to clear the Von Karma name." Franziska continued.

'Well good then." Judge Harshwhinny said. "Now that a Prosecution is here we can get the trail underway! It is my understanding that the defense has a few witnesses to call to the stand, yes Mr.Wright?"

"That is correct, Your Honor." Phoenix replied. "The Defense would like to first call Mrs. Harshwhinny to the stand. She is the hostage I mentioned last time. She was able to escape thanks to a friend of mine."

"Very well. She may take the stand." The Judge said nodding his head.
