A Fresh Start and a New Love

The bright sunlight broke through the window in Dash’s room, hitting Thunder in the face, causing him to wake up. Thunder sat up and looked around the room to find that he was alone and that Dash was gone. Looking all around the room while rubbing his eyes with his hoof, he sleepily got up and moved into the main hall. There he saw Dash sitting down eating a sandwich. Thunder trotted slowly over to Dash, in a still sleepy state, leant over and put his head on her shoulder. Surprised, she jumped in her seat a little. “Oh! Morning Thunder, how was your sleep?” Dash said blushing and scratching the back of her head with her hoof.

“Oh you have no idea, that was the best sleep I’ve had in weeks, I normally didn’t sleep much in Cloudsdale, y’know? Having to be ready to be called out in a job at any time during the night and living in a cheap motel because it was the only place close to the weather factory.”

“Really? I didn’t know that? That must have sucked royally; well at least you had friends there to keep you company.” Dash said, starting to feel bad for Thunder. She had thought that he was living it up in Cloudsdale until now. Dash had no idea what Thunder’s life really was like before he moved to Ponyville.

“Well, heh, you see, the thing is, I never really had any friends, and I spent most of my life alone, just going to work, then home to eat and sleep.” Thunder said looking down, “So I decided to give up my so called life and leave. It just so happened that Celestia gave me an offer to come here and she would take care of my living arrangements.”

“She did all of that for you? That’s so nice of her to do that and I’m even more grateful now because I get to be with you.” Dash said, walking over and snuggling against Thunder. “Well, I don’t have to deal with weather today, so how about we spend some time together, just you and me, no pony else.” Dash said, gently kissing Thunder’s neck, sending shivers down his spine. His neck was a very sensitive spot and Dash may have just figured that out. She kissed his neck again, slightly deeper this time, ending the kiss with a teasing lick across it. Thunder shivered again and started to blush, he could feel his body heating up.

“Are you sure you’re ok with this Dash?” Thunder said, between breaths.

“What do you think lover-colt?” Dash said, “Let’s get out of the middle of the kitchen and migrate to somewhere, more comfortable.”

She pulled him by the neck, as they trotted to the bedroom Thunder couldn’t help but think what he had gotten himself into, he promised himself he wouldn’t rush his relationship, but he guessed Dash had different plans. “Dash, are you sure we should be doing this? I mean I don’t want to take things to fast… and ruin what I could have with you.” Thunder said

“You could never ruin what we have together, especially by going too fast. I just want to be close to you, I promise I won’t leave you.” Dash said reassuringly with a kiss on Thunders cheek, then again on his lips, pressing firmly into the kiss, Thunder pushed back into the kiss. They broke the kiss, feeling hot, breathing heavily; Dash looked into Thunder’s eyes with hunger in her own. “Now just relax and go with the flow, stop being so uptight.”

“Y’know how much trouble I had not doing this last night?” Thunder said chuckling.

“That doesn’t matter, because I’m here with you, like this now.” Dash said, while pressing her lips against Thunders again, moving her hoofs along his back, and onto his wings. His wings twitched a little from the sensation of her touch. Pegasi have very sensitive wings. Thunder let out a deep moan into Dash’s mouth as she continued exploring his body with her hoofs. “No pony has ever told me that they loved me before.” Rainbow said, sniffling and wiping the tears from her eyes, “I love you too Thunder, so much!”

In saying that, Dash pressed her lips against Thunder’s once again, wrapping her hoofs around Thunders neck and pulling him down so that he was lying on top of her. They broke the kiss and Thunder began moving his head down her face, kissing gently, to the point in which he had reached her neck. He stopped and looked up at Dash who had look of pure pleasure on her face, she was breathing heavily.

Thunder and Dash both took notice to a certain part that was getting rather hard, “You seem to be getting rather excited, but uhmm, this is my first time, so I’m not that good.” Dash said, looking embarrassed.

“Well that was quite out of character for you Dash, you’re usually so brash.” Thunder said, through his deep breaths.

“Oh shut up you, it’s embarrassing.” Dash said blushing, “Now, just enjoy yourself.” Dash slowly moved down from Thunder’s face, down to his neck, kissing him deeply and passionately. “I’m good with that, let’s head there now.” Thunder said, spreading his large wings. They were bigger than most Pegasus, and created a large gust of wind when he flapped them. He took off, grabbing Dash by the hoof and lifting her into the air with a spin, almost as if they were slow dancing in the sky. “I’m so happy to have somepony to love.” Thunder said nuzzling Dash.

“I won’t ever leave you Thunder.” Dash said with a smile.

The two pegasus arrived at the lake side and sat down. Thunder trotted over to the lake and stepped in slowly, it was the perfect temperature, nice and warm. Dash soon followed after, swimming over to Thunder and kissing him deeply while the floated in the water. Thunder smiled and dove under water and surfaced, his wet mane covered his face, shaking his head, and he could see Dash again. Thunder smiled at Dash giggled. Dash dove under as well, and then re surfaced.

“Woah, you look really sexy with your mane all wet Dash.” Thunder said blush beet red.

“Hehe, thanks, you look good with your mane wet to." Dash exclaimed with a wink.

As the two pegasus swam in the water to clean themselves off they played and flew around for an hour or so. “It’s almost 8:00pm Dash, we should probably go find somewhere to get a later dinner or else everypony will be closing up shop and going home for the night.”

“Good idea, let’s go to the café for something easy, I don’t want too many ponies asking us questions about what we’ve been doing all day, especially not my friends.”

“Alright let’s go, but, how about we fly nice and high, so no pony will see us unless necessary.”

Thunder and Dash flew up into the sky, hoof in hoof, as a couple. Both pegasus where clearly in love, even after one would consider such a short time, but time did not matter to them, they were happy and no pony could stop that.

After a quick bite to eat and a nice walk home in the dimly lit streets of Ponyville, Dash and Thunder finally reached home and flew up to the top and in threw the window. “Hey do you want to go up into the clouds and watch the stars for a bit? It sounds like it would be very romantic.” Dash said with an awkward smile as she nudged Thunder with her nose.

“Yeah, quality time with just you in the sky, alone, nothing but you, me and the stars.” Thunder said with a sigh of happiness, “That does sound good, really good to me indeed.”

The two pegasus stretched their wings and soared out the window and into the clouds above Dash’s house. Thunder and Dash laid together in the fluffy white clouds, gazing up at the beautifully lit black sky, riddled with stars, large and small. It was a truly a sight to be remember, then a flash of light soared across the sky, it was a shooting star. Thunder, nor Dash, had ever seen one before even with all of the time they spent in the air at night, soaring above the clouds. Thunder couldn’t take his eyes off of all the twinkling lights in the sky, until finally; he got a sudden urge to look towards Dash. When he did he saw that she was looking at him, instead of the sky.

“We’re all alone up hear, no pony around, do you want to have a little more fun, I think I’ve got enough energy back from last time.” Dash said, her face was already looking heated, just the same as the rest of her sexy athletic body. Thunder really couldn’t control himself when she was practically throwing herself at him.

“I am so down for that, you have no idea.” Thunder said, rolling over across the cloud, so he was holding himself above Dash, looking down into her vibrant lavender eyes. “Dear Celestia, you are so beautiful”

“That means a lot to me Dash, thanks” Thunder hugged Dash, wrapping his wings around their bodies in a cocoon. Dash felt so safe like this, she felt so small and almost girly for the first time, she let out a very girly little giggle.

“Wow, that sound very out of character for you.” Thunder said softly with a small laugh, kissing Dash gently. She melted into the kiss, feeling the warmth of his body melt into her own.

“I guess it was, but it’s kind of like, I feel like a real mare when I’m around you.” Dash said blushing, “I know it sounds kind of stupid.”

“It sounds like nothing of the sort, it was actually very sweet and quite touching, another thing that’s rather out of character for bold and brash Rainbow Dash.” Thunder smirked “Heh I made a rhyme.”

“Yeah you did, what do you want medal?” Dash joked “Let’s head back down to the lake, to clean up again.”

“Yeah I guess we might need to.”

Flying towards the lake, Thunder folded his wings at his sides and dove into the water with a clean dive, slicing the crystal clear calm lake like butter. Thunder poked his head out of the water and looked up to see Dash fly straight at the water and fold her wings in last second, she sped into the water and flew back out like a torpedo.

The two happy ponies swam about the lake for an hour or so, having a great time. “So, when are we going to get some breakfast?” Thunder asked after his stomach made a loud groaning sound.

“Let’s go now, we can go to Sugarcube Corner and give Pinkie a visit. I’m sure she’ll find something good for us to eat.” Dash suggested, unusually cheery, “I can’t wait to get something to eat, I’m starved! And it’ll be nice to see Pinkie again, she’s always a riot!” Dash was now flying a couple feet above the ground, with a very large grin on her face.

“Wow Dash, you seem so happy, why the huge attitude change?” Thunder asked quite curious as to why Dash was so unusually happy. “You’re usually so cool and bold about everything. Your personality seems almost like Pinkie’s.”

“Well, I don’t exactly know why, but I just feel so happy to be alive right now, with you.”

“Ohh I get it, must’a been a lot of sexual tension pent up in you eh?” Thunder said with a stifled laugh, nudging Dash in the side lightly.

“Well, that may be a part of it, but I think it’s more that I’m just happy that I can be with the most amazing pony in Equestria.” Dash said scratching her head, face turning rose red.

“Hah, you don’t mean that Dash, no need to joke with me, I’m nothing great, just your regular old, run of the mill pegasus who worked his way to become the captain of a weather team.” Thunder’s heart was starting to beat fast, he was very modest.

“Oh really? Stop being so modest about that stuff! You’re an amazing flyer and what other pegasus can make lighting and thunder? None, that’s who, only my amazing boyfriend.” Dash was now wrapping her forelegs around Thunder in a loving embrace. “Now get your rear in gear, let’s go visit Pinkie!”

“Alright, alright, I’m going, Don’t be so pushy!” Thunder exclaimed as Dash was pulling him by the foreleg. Thunder and Rainbow made their way to Sugarcube corner and entered the store.

They were greeted by a group “Rainbow Dash! Thunder Flash!” All of Rainbow’s friends were there, Applejack tipped her hat, Pinkie jumped onto Dash, Fluttershy was smiling shyly, Rarity winked at Thunder which surprised him a little, but he knew she was a flirt and finally Twilight ran up and hugged Thunder, they had become the closest because she had really helped him out with Dash and with his own mind. They really were all the best friends Dash could have asked for and now they accepted him as Dash’s boyfriend. Thunder really started to feel as though he was becoming friends with all 6 of them, and most particularly Dash, his lover. Rainbow Dash, the brash and bold rainbow mane pegasus, fastest flier in Equestria and also the sexiest pony Thunder had ever met. Dash was so perfect in Thunder’s eyes, he loved everything about her, her alluring lavender eyes and her sleek and athletic muscular body, she not only beautiful, but down right sexy. All of Dash’s friends were very good looking mare’s but Dash was by far the best looking.

The 7 ponies hung around Sugarcube corner ordering food and drinks all on the house thanks to Pinkie, chatting and having fun. Finally Rarity finally spoke up, “so Rainbow Dash where were you yesterday? Usually when you have time off you’re practicing for the Wonderbolts or some other thing of the sort?” Rarity said smiling devilishly. “Don’t tell me you to were, you know?” Rarity was very smart when it came to other ponies and she knew immediately.

“Doing what? What?!?!?” Pinkie said bouncing around the room giggling.

“Yeah sugarcube, mind tellin’ us what you two were up to all day?” Applejack said, now starting to get interested.

“Now, now you girls, this is their personal life, we don’t need to be meddling.” Twilight stepped in.

“Oh come now Twilight, darling, we all know that they were busy all day doing nasty things together, come on? Why wouldn’t they? I know I would if I had my own handsome stallion alone to myself all day.” Rarity said, with a sly grin on her face.

“Rarity! Don’t say things like that! That’s such inappropriate conversation for ponies at a restaurant.” Twilight spoke up, “Plus, I’ve said it once before and I’ll say it again, this is their personal life and they can do whatever they want!”

“Oh alright Twilight darling, but you know it’s true.” Rarity gave her hair a flip as she headed for the door, “Well I must be going everypony, it was great seeing you all, and you to Thunder” Rarity winked.

“Bye Rarity!” The group of ponies said in unison

“Well I guess we better get going now to, it’s getting late” Dash said, “I’ve got to conjure up a doozy of a storm tomorrow bright and early.”

“Alrighty there, I guess I’ll be seein’ ya’ll around sometime soon after.” Applejack said, tipping her hat and bowing.

“Bye Applejack, I’ll be sure to visit you tomorrow when Dash is busy with the weather for some of those delicious apples of yours, that I’ve been so unfortunate enough as to not have had any by now.” Thunder said with a laugh.

“Aww shucks you, I’ll have a big batch of appletastic treats for you to try y’hear?”

“Okay! Sounds good to me!” Thunder was smiling brightly, “See you all around soon everypony, bye”

Thunder and Rainbow Dash left the shop after saying there good byes and flew back to Dash’s house. Once home, Dash immediately went into the room and went to sleep.

“Not coming to bed handsome?” Dash asked seductively

“Naw, not that tired, I’ll join you later.” Thunder had other things on his mind.

Thunder stayed on Rainbow’s couch until he was sure she was asleep, and from there he took off, out the window and onto the roof of Dash’s house, lying down and relaxing on the cloud house’s soft roof. Letting his thoughts wonder, he finally came to after around a half an hour of day dreaming, he looked up to see some clouds that had drifted from the nearby Everfree forest. Spreading his very large wings, he soared up into the sky, with an intent on surprising Dash when she woke up.
