Thunder Flash is the captain of the Thunderstorms Division of Cloudsdale weather team and is famous for his amazing thunderstorms and his thunderous boom and lightning trail created when moving at his speeds.

He is tired of his life in Cloudsdale and Celestia offers to help him out. Now in Ponyville Thunder Flash meets a certain cyan rainbow maned pegasus and a starts to develop feelings for her, something he thought would never happen again ever since Flitter his ex broke his heart.
