Chapters Living a lie without lies.
Brave Wing glanced over at the clock, his shift ended in just five minutes. He worked in the cloud factory, giving a extra hoof when needed, maybe taking someponys place if they were sick. It wasn’t a bad job, he got the bits he needed, wasn’t to repetitive, good working hours, nice co-workers. But for now, he couldn’t really do much, everything was under control, so he couldn’t really do anything to help. He just continued to walk around, having random discussions with himself the last five minutes of the day.
****
Brave Wing crashed on the couch, tired after a long day of work, after a while he could feel loneliness growing once again, like it always did. He sat up and took a deep breath, maybe he could get away from reality in a book or something, he got out of the couch and walked towards the bookshelf, hoping to find a book that he could read. But as expected no books had magically appeared out of nowhere. A little disappointed he walked back to the couch, trying to come up with something to do. Maybe he could go to a bar or something, maybe a nightclub, or just pick the first best place that sold alcohol of some kind, yeah, that sounded like a plan. He left the house and started walking down the streets of Canterlot. After a few minutes, he found a nightclub that could work, he entered the club and started looking for a empty chair at the bar, it was a bit early so it wasn’t that crowded yet, mostly just a few groups of friends hanging out, having a great time, and once again, he could feel the loneliness creep over him, it had been worse a few months ago, but now he was more used to it so it didn’t really bother him as much as it had before. He sat down at one of the chairs at the bar, ordered a shot of tequila and placed a few bits on the table, a few seconds later, he received a small glass with a beige liquid. He drank the tequila in one sweep, and put down the glass. Not knowing he was being watched.
Sunset Heart looked around, disguised as a red maned bright yellow coated earthpony with a nail and thread as her cutiemark, she tried to find somepony to feed of, if she wouldn’t find a food source soon, she would be dead in just about three days, four if she would drop her disguise. Her last `coltfriend´ had left her for some random unicorn and she was starting to get desperate. She had no plans of stealing love, that just didn’t seem right to her, but freely given love didn’t affect the food source, luckily. She sat down on one of the couches, if you looked for easy love, nightclubs where usually the best place for it. After about an hour, she found somepony that could help her out. A light blue coated pegasus with a yellow mane, without a cutiemark, who had entered just a few minutes ago, sat down at the bar and took a shot of some kind of drink, probably some kind of alcohol.
“Can I offer you a drink?’’
Sunset Heart turned around, looking at a green coated pegasus with a dark blue mane.
“Um...’’ She started, this could be free food, buuuut... “Nah, I’m fine.’’ She replied with a small smile.
“You sure? You seem pretty lonely there.’’ He said.
“Yes I'm sure.’’ She replied, slightly annoyed.
“Alright, your lose.’’ The pegasus said and walked away.
Sunset Heart turned her attention to the light blue stallion once more, maybe she could just dace with him or something, that could probably give her a few more days, if she was lucky. Sure, she could' have accepted the stallions offer, but she felt slightly bad for the lonely pegasus, and accepting the stallions offer would probably never end well. With a sigh she got out of the couch and started walking towards the pegasus, as she got closer, the taste of sorrow and sadness grew slightly stronger, a ability changelings, it was a quite unique feeling, love slightly reminded her of hot chocolate, anger was more of a burning taste, fear had a more bitter taste to it, loneliness was more of a cold and empty taste to it.

“Is this seat empty?’’
“Huh?’’ Brave Wing said and turned around.
“I’ll take that as a yes.’’ A red maned bright yellow coated earthpony mare with said and sat down next to him and ordered a beer.
He didn’t really think to much about it, he just turned back, and ordered another shot of tequila, which he drained immediately, took a deep breath and sighed.
“So, what is your name?’’ The mare asked and took a sip of her beer.
“Huh? Oh, Brave Wing.’’ He replied and gave her a small smile, making it look as real as possible.
“So, Brave Wing, what brings you here?’’ She asked, placed the beer on the table and smiled warmly at him.
“Uh, not sure actually, just came here for a drink and the music I guess.’’ He replied. “How about you?’’
“Well, the food at the bar is usually pretty good, and a drink doesn’t hurt.’’ She replied and took another sip of her beer.
The music wasn’t that loud, yet, but in about thirty minutes when the DJ arrives, you would ask yourself how your ears survived the night when you got home, specially when DJ-Pon3 was on stage, and since she was one of the best DJ’s around, he couldn’t complain.
“Hey, wanna dance? I’m bored.’’ The mare said.
“Huh? Um... Sure, I guess, but I’ll have to warn you, I’m a terrible dancer.’’ He said with a shrug, and a split second later the bright yellow coated mare drew him out on the dance floor. He tried to keep up in the dance, but... he was glad that most of the ponies where more focused on either their dance partner or their group conversations and not his, dancing. Why did she even want to dance with him? Maybe it was just the beer talking or something, if so, she hopefully wouldn’t remember his, dancing...
“ALRIGHT EVERYPONY! ARE YOU READY TO PARTY!?’’
A white coated mare with a electric blue light blue mane screamed in the microphone and turned up the volume to max, and in response almost everypony cheered, some even raised their glasses.
“Wait, we’ve been dancing for over twenty minutes already?’’ He said, obviously surprised.
“If you call what you are doing dancing, yes.’’ The mare chuckled and smiled warmly at him.
“Well, told you I was a bad dancer.’’ He said, and smiled back, blushing slightly.
“Well, anyways, I’m getting tired, wanna grab another drink?’’ The mare asked and started walking towards the bar.
Okay... this is not what I expected to happened tonight, still, won’t complain. He thought to himself and started walking towards the bar, where the bright yellow mare sat, when he thought about it, she never told him her name, he sat down in the chair next to her and ordered a small beer. ’’So, what is your name then? I’ve told you mine but you never told me yours.’’ He asked.
“Oh, heh, sorry, my name is Sunset Heart.’’ Sunset Heart replied with a small smile.
“That is a very nice name.’’ He said as he paid for his beer.
“Aw, thanks.’’ She said with a small smile, blushing slightly.
“No need for thanking me for telling the truth.’’ He said, smiling warmly at her.
“If you say so.’’ She said, and drank the rest of the beer. ’‘Hey, I have work tomorrow so I need to get going, do you mind keeping me company?’’ She asked.
“Um... I guess so...’’ He replied with a shrug.
“Alright then, I’ll just let you finish your drink first.’’ She said with a small smile.
****
“Alright, this is my house’’ SunsetHear said and stopped in front of a door to a small house. “Thank you, for keeping me company, I didn’t cause any trouble, right?’’ She asked, a bit concerned as the turned around to face him.
“No problems at all, just a long walk back home now, but I’ll be fine.’’ He replied with shrug.
“You could spend the night here if you want to.’’ She said with a shrug.
“Um... I don’t really know what to say, honestly.’’ He said, scratching the back of his head with his right forehoof.
“Would you rather walk all the way home?’’ She asked.
“Um... I guess one night won’t hurt.’’ He replied and started walking towards the house with Sunset Heart, and walked inside as she opened the door.
“Sorry if it’s a bit messy, didn’t really expect company, so... yeah.’’ She said.
“It’s okay, I don’t mind.’’ He said with a shrug.
“So, I guess I’ll take the couch, you are the guest after all.’’ She said.
“Um... okay, I guess I’ll just go to bed then, where is the bedroom?’’ He asked.
“Right over here, follow me.’’ She said and started walking towards the bedroom.
Brave Wing followed her as she walked through the small house, most of the houses around here looked mostly the same, a hall, a kitchen and two or three rooms that you could use for whatever you thought you needed.
“Alright, this is the bedroom, goodnight.’’ She said as she opened the door.
The room wasn’t big, or maybe it looked small because the bed was so big, the only thing that was there besides the bed was a nightstand next to the bed.
“Goodnight.’’ He said, lay down in the bed making himself comfortable and after a few minutes, he fell asleep.
Sunset Heart closed the door and walked into the kitchen, but the loneliness that had been in the air when she first met him seemed to have decreased a little bit. He seemed to be a nice stallion, when they where walking back from the nightclub, he had talked a bit about his life, asked her a few questions about her, what she worked with, for how long she had been living here. She glanced over at the clock. 9 PM. Well, I better get some sleep, I just wish love could replace sleep. She thought to herself, she had been gaining al lot of love just this night. Maybe... She walked back to the bedroom and opened the door, Brave Wing had fallen asleep and was now sleeping heavily. She walked inside and lay down in bed next to him, after a few seconds he wrapped his hooves around her and drew her closer, and buried his muzzle in her mane, still sleeping. She took a deep breath and signed happily as she could feel his love filling up her body. Slowly, she started to drift away into sleep, glad that she had found a new food source, and, a new friend.
****
Brave Wing woke up, a moment later he realized he had wrapped his hooves around one of the pillows, he put it away and glanced over at the clock. 8:30 AM. Well, at least I got plenty of time to get to work, I guess there is a few perks of going to bed a little bit earlier sometimes. He thought to himself, left the bedroom and walked towards the kitchen, where he found a note on the table.
Feel free to take whatever you want for breakfast, I hope you won’t be late for work or anything, I just didn’t wanna wake you up, that’s all. Anyways, I had a nice time last night, but you really need to take dance lessons, if you want to I could go with you, I don’t really have anything else to do with my free time anyways, maybe we could hang out sometime? By the way, my number is on the other side of the paper.
Brave Wing had to read the note at least four times before he was able to process everything. He still tried to process where he had spent the night, and now this? He thought back at the events of last night, sure, maybe he drank more alcohol than usual, but he had also gained a friend. He closed his eyes and sighed happily, with a warm feeling in his chest.
Living a lie without lies.
Sunset Heart entered the little store, she was there early, as usual. She said hello to her boss, and started getting ready for work. She had been working here for about two years now, when she was done the interview, her future boss bad closed the door before she could leave, it turns out they had a changeling detector, but instead of sending her to the guards, he had made a deal with her. He knew that changelings could tell if ponies where depressed, happy, angry, sad, in love etc, with that, ability, she could give better service than a normal pony, so she could work there, get paid like any other pony, he wouldn’t turn her in to the guards, if she promised to not hurt anypony. She hadn't really had much of a choice but to accept the offer, which seemed fine to her. The clothing shop didn't open within the next ten minutes, usually she just walked around the store, helping other ponies, taking care of the payment and so on.
“Is something on your mind?’’ A familiar voice asked.
“Um... nothing special.’’ Sunset Heart replied and turned her head towards the brown stallion with a purple mane, also known as her boss.
“Found a new friend at the bar last night?’’ Prized Hue asked.
“Um... yeah, he seems nice, can we talk about something else please?’’ She said, hoping that he would change subject.
“Oh, it looks like somechangeling likes this somepony.’’ Prized Hue teased and chuckled quietly.
“Hey, stop it.’’ Sunset Heart chuckled and looked away.
“What? I just wanna know who the lucky pony is.’’ Prized Hue said and smiled at her.
“Hey, we're just friends.’’ Sunset Heart stated, slightly annoyed by the whole situation.
“Yes, just friends, can you stop now?’’ Sunset Heart pleaded and turned her head towards the stallion.
“Alright alright, I’ll stop.’’ Prized Hue chuckled and rolled his eyes. “Now, why don’t you just go and open the shop? Doesn't hurt opening a little bit earlier than usual, right?’’ He asked and raised an eyebrow.
“Okay then.’’ She said, and started walking towards the door, getting ready for another day at work.
Brave Wing looked at the clock, just a few more minutes, then he could finally head home. It had been a unusual slow day, mostly he had just walked around in circles, maybe help with one small thing every once in a while. As he continued to walk around, his thoughts slowly drifted away towards Sunset Heart, as he did so, a small smile creeped up on his face. Life could change in good ways and in bad ways, and this change was definitely one of the good ones. He had tried to come up with a reason to call her, that didn't involve dancing of course, maybe he could just watch some random movie with her, yeah, that could work. He glanced over at the clock once more, and realized that his shift had ended about five minutes ago.
Sunset Heart crashed on the couch, tired after a long day at work, once again wishing that the love from ponies could replace sleep, which it didn’t. Luckily, she didn’t have to eat, she could taste the food, but that was pretty much it. Maybe she could spend some time on her music, she didn’t really write any songs, or sing, she just played guitar. She went to the living room and took the guitar off the wall and started playing a few simple chords. It took her a while to get the hang of it again, but after about forty minutes she had gotten the hang of it once again. After a while, she could hear the phone ringing. She put down the guitar and went to answer the phone. “Hello?’’
“Um... Hi, remember me? Brave Wing.’’ Brave Wing asked nervously.
“Oh hi Wingy, how are you?’’ Sunset Heart asked cheerfully. I didn't really expect him to call that soon. She thought to herself.
“Oh I’m fine, I was just wondering if... m-maybe you w-wanted to go and watch a m-movie or something?’’ Brave Wing stammered nervously.
“I guess so, do you have any specific movie in mind?’’ She asked.
“Um... not really, I thought I’d let you choose.’’ He chuckled nervously in reply.
“Oh, well in that case, why don’t you come and pick me up at 8 PM tomorrow, does that work for you?’’ She asked thoughtfully.
“Y-yeah, th-that works, see you t-tomorrow then.’’ He stammered in reply.
“Alright, see you Wingy.’’ She said cheerfully and hung up. Yep, I got him riiiiight where I want him. She thought to herself.
Wingy? Really? Brave Wing thought to himself, but he didn't really mind, it could've been worse. At least he would spend another evening with Sunset Heart. He crashed on his bed, and looked up in the ceiling with a big smile on his face. The loneliness he had felt for a long time now, was gone. Replaced with a warm feeling. He closed his eyes and sighed happily. Maybe life isn't so bad after all. He thought to himself. He didn't really care what movie she would choose, sure, maybe he would end up sitting there for two hours watching some random scrap-movie that he wouldn't enjoy at all, but at least he would spend that time with her.
Sunset Heart walked back to the living room and picked up the guitar once again, the past two days had really been a life changer for her, a nice one. She started strumming a few chords on her guitar once again, without any specific song in mind. Since she didn’t need to eat food, she had a bit more free time than other ponies, but sometimes she just felt like taking a snack or something, and not having to spend your money on food helped her save her bits, so she could spend them on other things whenever she felt like it, mostly at a bar or nightclub somewhere. She stopped playing for a second. Didn’t Brave Wing say that he used to play bass, but he had to stop because he didn’t have time to practise anymore? She thought to herself. Maybe we could just spend a afternoon or something just playing a few songs, that would be nice. She thought and let out a soft sigh. But he did let me pick the movie so I might as well do that before I forget about it. She thought to herself and stopped playing, she put the guitar to the side for now and walked over the kitchen and opened the newspaper on the table, she skipped to the movie section and started looking for a suitable movie. A minute later or so she found something that seemed nice for a meetup with her new friend. Well, I guess I'll see you tomorrow then Wingy.
Brave Wing knocked on Sunset Heart’s door, he was a little bit early but he hopped she didn’t mind. Soon he could hear the sound of hoofsteps coming from the house and a moment later Sunset Heart opened the door.
“Hey, you’re early.’’ Sunset Heart said, smiling warmly at him.
“Heh, sorry.’’ He said with a small smile.
“It’s fine, don’t worry about it.’’ She said, still smiling.
“So... do you wanna go and see that movie now or did you plan anything else?’’ He asked.
“Um... I didn’t really plan anything else, so we could just go now, maybe get some better seats or something.’’ She said and walked out of the house, closed and locked the door and started walking, followed by Brave Wing.
Brave Wing glanced over at Sunset Heart, he still couldn’t believe that he was about to go and watch a movie with her, he didn’t even known her for a week, he liked her, not because of how she looked, he liked her for who she was.
“So... how was your day?’’
“Huh? Oh, how my day was... Um... okay I guess, a bit slow tho.’’ He replied with a shrug. “You?’’ He asked shortly after.
“A bit slow, but it could’ve been worse.’’ She replied with a shrug.
“Well, that’s always something, so... which movie did you pick?’’ He said.
“Oh you’ll see, but I’m sure you’ll like it.’’ She replied with a secretive smile.
“Not even a hint?’’ He asked.
’‘Nope, you’ll just have to wait and see.’’ She said.
Not to happy with the answer, Brave Wing continued his walk with Sunset Heart. He looked up in the sky, admiring Luna’s night for a few seconds, silently making a wish upon the stars.
****
“Hey, can I have the popcorn?’’
“Huh? Oh, here you go.’’ Brave Wing said and gave the bag of popcorn to Sunset Heart. To his surprise she had chosen a action movie, he didn’t remember the name, but he liked the movie so far, not moving to fast or to slow. but he still preferred romance/comedy movies, he just liked them better, not really sure why. He took a sip of his drink, and leaned back, and continued to watch the movie.
****
“So, did you enjoy the movie?’’ Sunset Heart asked, as they where trotting down the streets of Canterlot.
“Yeah, it was a good movie, but I never expected that you would choose an action movie.’’ He replied. He was still a bit surprised that she wanted to watch a movie with him, mostly because they met less than a week ago. ’’So... do you wanna take a walk around the park?’’ He asked after a few minutes of walking.
“Nah, I need to get up early tomorrow, work and stuff.’’ She replied.
“Um... okay then.’’ He replied, a little bit disappointed.
“Hey, I have other stuff coming up this weekend, I have a life outside my job you know.’’ She said with a small smile.
“Do you mind if I ask what?’’ He said.
“Oh, just some music stuff.’’ She replied.
“Are you gonna preform at some restaurant or something?’’ He asked.
“Um... yeah, first time I play with audience tho.’’ She replied with a small smile.
“Well, I could only say that I’m happy for you.’’ He said, smiling warmly at her.
She smiled back, she was a bit surprised, when she had met him, he had been lonely and depressed, trying to escape his sorrows in alcohol, but now, she could only feel comforting warmth coming from him, she had really changed this stallions life, it felt good. When she thought about it, a few of the other, food sources, she had found earlier in her life, mostly not any romance related stuff, just becoming their friends actually helped them, but the ones who where lonely, or just sad, where usually the kindest types of ponies she had ever met. Once, she asked one of them why? Or mostly asked her why the fact that she was a changeling bother her. She could still remember the words of the kind cyan coated orange maned pegasus.
“Does it really matter? You became my friend when nopony else would, you were nice, helped me get a new job, and if it weren't for you I wouldn't have a wonderful coltfriend, Smooth Star even called him daddy not to long ago, and she is finally happy again. Just promise me you will keep in touch, okay? Maybe send a letter every now and then, can you do that for me?’’
A small smile spread across Sunset Heart's face, this mare had been one of the kindest souls she had ever met. She still sent her a letter sometimes, this was the only friendship that she hadn't buried from her past.
“Okay, we’re back at your house now.’’
“Huh? Oh, sorry, I must have been lost in thoughts.’’ She said, smiling nervously at Brave Wing.
“It’s okay, anyway, I need to get going now, don’t wanna ruin my sleep pattern to much, goodnight.’’ Brave Wing said.
“Well, goodnight.’’ She said, gave Brave Wing a quick goodbye hug, it took a moment for him to react but after a few seconds he returned the hug. She waved goodbye as he started walking back home. She unlocked the door to her house, opened it and walked inside. She didn’t spend any time on brushing her teeth or anything, she just crashed on her bed, letting out a soft sigh and closed her eyes and slowly started to fall asleep. With her thought on a certain light blue coated pegasus.
Living a lie without lies.
BraveWing woke up, it was about three days since he watched the movie with SunsetHeart. He Had thought of inviting her to a dinner, nothing to fancy, just more as a thank you for being his friend, just having her around made him, happier. And she couldn’t be busy on a sunday, right? He thought to himself. He would need some time to prepare the dinner, and go shopping. He got out of bed, still drowsy he walked into the kitchen and started to prepare some breakfast. A cheese sandwich and a big cup of coffee, just what I need. He thought to himself. And a few minutes later, he enjoyed a big cup of coffee and a cheese sandwich. When he was finished he glanced over at the phone, thought of just skipping the dinner for a split second. He pushed the thought away, taking the phone and called SunsetHeart.
“Hello?’’ A tired voice called.
“Um... hello, it’s Wingy.’’ He said, regretting that he called so early.
“Oh hi Wingy, how are you?’’ SunsetHeart said with a cheerful tone.
“Oh I’m just fine.’’ He replied. ’‘You?’’
“Tired, but other than that good.’’ She replied.
“Heh, maybe I shouldn’t have called so early.’’ He said.
“It’s fine, so, what’s on your mind?’’ She asked.
“Um... I was just wondering if... maybe you wanted to have dinner at my house tomorrow?’’ He asked. “Just as a thank you for being my friend.’’ He added shortly after.
“Um... I guess so, do you mind if I bring my guitar so I can play on it?’’ She asked.
“Not at all.’’ He replied.
“Great, I’ll meet you outside where we saw that movie at 6 PM, does that work?’’ She said.
“Yeah, that works, see you there I guess, bye.’’ He said.
“Bye!’’ She said and hung up.
Well, that went better than expected, but why did she wanna meet... I never told her where I live. He thought to himself and facehoofed. He let out a soft sigh and went back to the kitchen, wishing that he had made more than one cup of coffee. He sat down in the chair and tried to come up with something that he could make for the dinner, he wasn’t a bad chef, he just didn’t have much creativity when it came to cooking. He went to the living room and took the cooking book from the bookshelf, he sat down in the couch and started looking for something that he could make. It didn’t take long until he found something. Fried carrots and potatoes, with some salad to have with it, maybe he could make a few mini pizzas to. He want back to the kitchen and opened the fridge, he had most of the stuff he needed, but he still needed to go and buy some groceries today.
****
SunsetHeart crashed on her bed. ’‘Did he really have to call that early?’’ She murmured to herself and buried her head into the pillow, trying to fall asleep, without any success. Slowly, she gets out of bed once again, sure, she could just play on her guitar, but she just didn’t feel like doing that for now. She sighed softly and went to the kitchen, maybe she could just make a sandwich or something, just for the taste, or just have a cup of tea, that would be nice, or both. Well, a cup of tea and a cheddar-cheese sandwich would be nice. She thought to herself. She started to cook up some water for the tea and started to prepare the sandwich, when she was done she put the sandwich on a plate and went to the living room, she placed the plate on the table and went back to the kitchen to get the tea, went back to the living room, placed the cup of tea on the table and sat down in the couch. Maybe I could go for a walk in the park. She thought as she took a bite of her sandwich and looked outside. Maybe I could just bring the guitar to the park and play, some audience would be nice. She thought as she took a second bite of the sandwich.
****
BraveWing unlocked the door and walked inside with two big bags, it had took quite some time but now he finally had what he needed for the dinner with SunsetHeart, and food for the next two weeks. It was afternoon, he had spent most of the day trying to find everything he needed, which could be hard sometimes since the market could be flooded sometimes, unfortunately that was just what happened today. He Had gone shopping right after lunch and came back home, just in time to eat dinner, by himself. With a sigh he started making a salad with carrots, grapes, apples and of course, salad. He sliced the apples and carrots and put them in a bowl with some grapes with some salad, happy with the result he placed the bowl on the table and started eating slowly, he wasn’t that hungry, so he just ate half of the salad and out the rest if it in the fridge for later. He went back to the living room and sat down in the couch, trying to come up with something to do. Well, maybe I could just listen to some music, better than nothing I guess. He thought ti himself, got out of the couch and turned on the radio, switching between different channels until he found something that he liked, went back to the couch and lay down on it, closed his eyes and concentrated on the music.
****
SunsetHeart closed sighed softly, feeling the warm sun shining down on her face. She sat on a bench in one of the parks in Canterlot, enjoying the sunny day, strumming a few cords on her guitar every now and then. It had really been a good idea to spend the day in the park, this was simply lovely. She opened her eyes and looked around, it was a nice park, not to fancy, just a calm place where you could go after a stressful day. She didn’t have to much time to practise on her song tho, she would just be at the cafe as a fill in in a band, she didn’t take any bits for it tho, and if she needed more bits she could just put more time into her work at the clothing shop, or ask for a raise.
“Do you mind if I sit here?’’ A feminine voice asked.
“Huh? Um... no.’’ SunsetHear replied, looking at a middle aged unicorn mare with a bright brown coat and a orange mane who now sat down next to her, probably just resting her legs from a long walk or something.
“Nice weather we have today, don’t you think?’’ The bright brown mare asked with a small smile.
“Yeah, very nice.’’ She replied and smiled back, taking her concentration of the guitar for the moment.
“So... how’s life?’’ The mare asked, leaning back a little bit, still smiling.
“Um... pretty good, got the bits I need, meet this really nice colt a few days ago...’’ She said, later realizing what it all sounded like. “Um... you?’’ She added a few seconds later.
“Better than in a long time, my son contacted me for the first time in years a few weeks ago, turns out that he had finally found a nice mare, he was always so shy, could barley bring himself to talk to anypony, it’s nice to hear from him again.’’ The mare said, closed her eyes and sighed softly. “Sorry if I’m just rambling on here, maybe I should just leave you alone.’’ The mare said as she opened her eyes once again.
“It’s fine, I don’t mind some small talk.’’ She said with a small smile.
“So, are you a musician or something? Or did you just come here to relax?’’ The mare asked.
“No, or well, I’m just gonna be a fill in in a band that’ll play at a cafe, their guitarist couldn’t make it due personal... stuff. But it will be the first time I play with audience tho, just trying something new.’’ She replied.
“Well, I hope it goes well.’’ The mare said, keeping her small smile.
“Heh, thanks.’’ She said and smiled back.
“So, you said you met a nice colt a few days ago? Right?’’ The mare said.
“Um... yeah, I did, didn’t I?’’ She said, smiling sheepishly.
“So, have he asked you out yet?’’ The mare asked.
“Um... he asked if I wanted to eat dinner with him tomorrow, he told me it was just as a thank you for being his friend...’’ She replied.
“Sounds more like a date to me.’’ The mare said. “When did you even become his friend?’’ The mare asked shortly after.
“Um... this week.’’ she replied.
“Yep, I am pretty sure that is a date.’’ The mare said. “Where did you even meet this colt?’’ She asked shortly after.
“Um... I met him at a bar, and he was a terrible dancer, but he ended up spending the night at my place, but that was pretty much it.’’ She replied.
“Well, if he is nice and all, I think that you two will become great `friends´, but I need to get going now, have to make dinner for my husband, bye!’’ The mare said and started walking towards her home.
Is it that obvious that he likes me? SunsetHeart thought to herself. Well, can’t really blame him, he was pretty lonely when I met him, and why did PrizedHue think I love him? I mean, he is kind, kind of cute, and it was funny to see him `dance´. She thought to herself as a small smile creeped up on her face. She took her guitar and started walking back home, looking forward to the following day.
****
BraveWing glanced over at the clock. 4:40 PM. Well, I should probably start making the dinner now. He thought to himself, got out of the couch and walked to the kitchen. He took some fresh potatoes he bought the day before and started cutting them into smaller cubes, when he was done with the potatoes he put them in a frying pan and started making the salad, just some grapes, sliced tomatoes, olives and salad. He put it on a bowl and moved on to the carrots, he sliced them up in small wheels and put them in the frying pan with the potato cubes. He glanced over at the clock, he still had plenty of time left, if he hurried he would have time to make the mini pizzas. Well, if I’m gonna make the pizzas I’ll need a shower.

SunsetHeart stood outside the cinema with her guitar on her back and waited for BraveWing, she had been there a little bit early, but she still didn’t enjoy waiting, sometimes she was just impatient. He wasn’t late, yet. “Why didn’t I just tell him to be here earlier?’’ She murmured to herself. After a few more minutes of waiting, she finally spotted BraveWing.
“There you are.’’ SunsetHeart said, slightly annoyed.
“Sorry if I was a bit late, I didn’t think it would take that long to prepare the food.’’ BraveWing said and looked down in the ground and lowered his ears slightly.
“Well, you are here now at least, let’s just get going.’’ She said.
’‘Okay then, follow me.’’ He said and started walking, followed by SunsetHeart.
BraveWing and SunsetHeart trotted down the streets of Canterlot. They didn’t really say much to each other, just enjoying what was left of the sunny day. It took them about twenty minutes to reach BraveWing’s house.
“Ok, we’re here.’’ BraveWing said, unlocked the door to one of the houses, opened it and walked inside, followed by SunsetHeart.
SunsetHeart entered the house, it wasn’t big, a kitchen to the left, living room to the right, and a third room right ahead. She went to the kitchen and sat down in one of the chairs. “So... what’s for dinner?’’ She asked.
“Fried carrots and potatoes with some salad and mini pizzas.’’ BraveWing replied with a smile on his face. “By the way, what do you want on your pizzas?’’ He asked shortly after.
“Do you have pineapple and bananas?’’ She asked.
“Um, I think so, let me check.’’ He replied, opened the fridge and looked around. “Yep, anything else?’’ He asked.
“Um... I don’t think so...’’ She replied.
“Not even cheese and tomato sauce?’’ He asked jokingly.
“Um... I do prefer my pizzas with that so I guess I’ll just have that to.’’ She replied.
“Alright, I’ll just prepare the pizzas, give me a minute.’’ He said and started slicing the pineapple in small cubes.
SunsetHeart took some of the fried potatoes and carrots and put them on her plate and put some salad over it. She leaned back in the chair and sighed softly, wishing that BraveWing could hurry up with the pizzas. “Couldn’t you make the pizzas earlier?’’ She asked slightly annoyed.
“Well, I didn’t know what you wanted to have on your pizza and I didn’t wanna risk burning down the house.’’ He replied with a small smile.
“You could’ve asked when you called?’’ She said.
“I uh... heh, sorry, the pizza is done now anyways, just have to put it in the oven.’’ He said, put the pizza in the oven and turned it on. “The pizza will be done in about twenty minutes, just so you know.’’ He said as he sat down at the table.
“So, anything new?’’ She asked as she took a bite of a fried carrot.
“Nope, nothing new.’’ He replied. “You?’’ He asked shortly after.
“Nah.’’ She replied.
“So, didn’t you say you lived in Ponyville before you moved here?’’ He asked.
“Um... yeah.’’ She replied.
“What made you leave?’’ He asked. “I don’t ask to personal stuff now, right?’’ He added shortly after.
“Um... no, mostly moved here to try my luck I guess’’ She replied with a shrug.
“And you where lucky?’’ He asked.
“Yep.’’ She replied with a grin. I got a wonderful friend. She added mentally.
“Well, that is good at least.’’ He said with a small smile.
“When I think about it, you never told me why you moved here.’’ She said.
“Um... that is something I’d rather not talk about.’’ He said, looking down, folding down his ears slightly.
“If you say so.’’ She said. “So, how’s work?’’ She asked, trying to change subject.
“Um... not to bad I guess, still haven’t found my `special talent´ yet, might look for another job soon.’’ He replied with a small smile.
“Thinking of any job in particular?’’ She asked.
“Well, maybe I’ll farm flowers or fruits, join a weatherteam group, maybe deliver packages, royal guard, I dunno, any of those are fine to me.’’ He replied with a shrug.
“Lots of choices at least.’’ She said with a small smile.
“Yep, lots and lots of choices.’’ He said.
“Well, if you ask me, take the job as a royal guard, your name is BraveWing after all.’’ She said.
“Yeah, I guess there is some sense in that.’’ He said with a shrug. At least she didn’t call me Wingy. He thought to himself. “So, did you enjoy the food?’’ He asked.
“Yeah, it’s good, but I’ll probably save some space for the pizza.’’ She replied. ’‘Hey Wingy, why don’t you go and see if the pizza is ready?’’ She asked.
“Um... it should be ready in... minus two minutes...’’ He replied as he looked at the clock. Please don’t tell me I burnt the pizzas again. He thought to himself, got out of the chair and grabbed a heat glove between his teeth and looked at the pizza. Well, it isn’t burn at least. He thought to himself, opened the oven and grabbed the metal sheet with pizzas and put it on the kitchen-range.
“Did you burn it?’’ She asked.
“Nope, luckily I didn’t.’’ He replied with a small grin.
“Alright, just give me one of those pizzas then.’’ She said.
“Didn’t you forget something there?’’ He asked with a small grin.
“Please?’’ She said with a sheepish smile.
“Here you go.’’ He said and sent her one of the pizzas.
She took a bite of the pizza, closed her eyes and sighed. “Next time you’re having pizza, make sure to let me know.’’ She murmured between the bites.
“I will.’’ He said with a small smile and took a bite of the pizza.
They ate the rest of the pizza in silence, simply enjoying the taste of flour, water, yeast, tomato, sugar, half a year old cheese, pineapple and bananas. Also knows as a pizza.
“So, what now?’’ BraveWing asked, he had just finished his pizza, and sitting still in awkward silence, wasn’t something that he liked, at all.
“Um... maybe we can tell each other stories? SunsetHeart said with a hopeful grin.
“Alright then, you want me to start? He asked.
“Go ahead.’’ She replied and leaned back in the chair.
“Okay, a few years ago...’’
****
“So, it wasn’t that easy, but I managed to pull through.’’ BraveWing said with a shrug.
“I can understand that.’’ SunsetHeart said. “Good thing it’s over, right?’’ She asked shortly after.
“Yeah, I guess so.’’ He replied.
SunsetHeart glanced over at the clock. “Um... is it okay if I spend the night here?’’ She asked with a hopeful smile.
“Um... I guess so.’’ He replied with a shrug.
“Just get me a pillow and a blanket and I’ll take the couch.’’ She said.
“Shouldn’t I take the couch? You are the guest after all...’’ He said.
“I don’t care, just get me my pillow and blanket.’’ She stated.
“Alright alright, just give me a minute and I’ll go get.’’ He said got out of the chair and went to the closet to get a blanket, after that he went to his bedroom and grabbed one of the pillows that he used, he didn’t really need three pillows anyways. Once he had the blanket and a pillow he went to the living room and simply threw the pillow on the couch with the blanket and went back to the kitchen. “So, you have your pillow and blanket on the couch, happy now?’’ He asked, trying not to smile, but failed.
“Yep, why don’t you just go to bed, I’ll just stay up for a few more minutes.’’ She said.
“Alright then.’’ He said and left the kitchen. “Night!’’
“Night Wingy.’’
SunsetHeart leaned back in the chair. Why does it feel like I’ve forgotten someth... I never got to play guitar. She thought to herself, slightly annoyed. Well, I have plenty of time tomorrow at least. She thought to herself and sighed. She left the kitchen and went to the living room and looked at the couch, it looked comfy and all, but still. She left the living room and peeked inside BraveWing’s room, where he was sleeping, heavily. Wow, he must have been really tired. She thought to herself, walked inside the room and curled up next to him, took his right wing and used it as a blanket. In response he seemed to draw her a little bit closer, still sleeping. Enjoying the increased amount of love, she leaned a little bit closer to him, and slowly started to fall asleep.
****
SunsetHeart sat in the couch playing on her guitar, BraveWing was still asleep, or just cuddling with the pillow she had given him, probably both. She had been up for about half an hour or so, now considering waking him up by herself, but he would probably not like that to much. She stopped playing for a moment and leaned back and sighed. If he doesn’t get his fat flank out of that bed within ten minutes, I’ll wake him up. She thought to herself.
Ten minutes later:
“Wingy, wake up.’’ SunsetHeart said as she shook him.
“Just five more minutes...’’ BraveWing grumbled in his pillow.
“Either you get up now, or face the consequences.’’ She said with a evil grin.
“Alright alright.’’ He said, sat up and yawned, he threw the pillow he had just been hugging to the side and got out of bed. A bit drowsy, he went to the kitchen and started making some oatmeal.
“So, did you sleep well?’’ SunsetHeart asked cheerfully.
“Okay I guess.’’ He replied, still drowsy. “You?’’
“Good, still a little bit tired tho.’’ She replied with a smile.
“So, you like oatmeal?’’ He asked.
“Um, yeah, I guess.’’ She replied.
“Good, I may or may not have made oatmeal for four...’’ He said with a light blush.
Living a lie without lies.
SunsetHeart sat behind the cashier, it had gone about one week since the dinner with BraveWing, and she hadn’t really had much time talking to him, her performance had taken up most of her free time the past four days but that was over now, and it had turned out quite well actually, she had received a few phone calls from BraveWing, but that was usually just a few minutes of chatting, mostly just talking about life. She didn’t really like to admit it, but she kind of missed him. With a sigh she leaned back in the chair closed her eyes for a moment.
“Is something on your mind?’’ PrizedHue asked.
“Not really, just a little tired, that’s all.’’ She replied shrug.
“You sure it isn’t about this special somepony of yours?’’ He asked teasingly.
“What did I say about bringing him up?’’ She said.
“You have watched a movie with him and he invited you to a dinner, I’m just curious.’’ He said with a small smile.
“Okay, I like him, fine. I just don’t wanna rush it to much, alright?’’ She said, slightly annoyed. Wait what did I just say? She thought to herself. “Just forget what I just said, ok?’’
“I’ll try.’’ He replied with a small grin. “By the way, we have costumers.’’
****
BraveWing sat down at the kitchen-table, having leftovers for dinner and mind set on SunsetHeart, hoping that he could get the courage to ask her out on a date, he didn’t wanna lose her as a friend, her friendship was the best thing that had happened to him for many years, possibly his entire life. A small smile creeped up on his face as he thought about her, her warm smile, optimistic personality, her beautiful, sapphire blue eyes. He closed his eyes and sighed happily. Maybe he could just ask her if she wanted to go and see a movie with him again, and actually pick a movie this time, just a nice romance/comedy or something, yeah that sounds good. Wasn’t there a new movie coming out this thursday? He looked in the newspaper, it took him a few minutes to find what he was looking for.
A romance, following a lonely colt and batpony filly who fell in love with each other, one night, he had found her, freezing and hungry, first, he didn’t notice anything strange, just out of kindness, he invited her to stay at his place for a meal, she accepted the offer and followed him back home for a meal, where would this lead?
Well, this seems like a good movie. BraveWing thought to himself, he took the phone and called SunsetHeart.
“Hello?’’ SunsetHeart said.
“Hello, Wingy again.’’ He said with a cheerful tone.
“Oh hi Wingy, how’ve you been?’’ She asked with a little bit more cheerful tone.
“Just fine.’’ He replied. ’‘You?’’
“A little bit bored lately but other than that I’m good.’’ She replied.
“So, did you enjoy playing at the cafe?’’ He asked.
“Yeah, it was nice, probably won’t do it again tho, to much time practicing and stuff.’’ She replied.
“But you’re still gonna play guitar, right?’’ He asked.
“Yeah, I’m just gonna take a short break.’’ She replied. “So anything else on your mind?’’
“Um... yeah, I was actually wondering if you wanted to go and watch another movie with me?’’ He asked. ’‘I’ve found a good movie that we can watch this time.’’ He added a moment later.
“Yeah, that would be nice.’’ She replied.“ When?’’
“I thought I would pick you up Thursday around 7PM, does that work for you?’’ He asked.
“Yeah, that sounds good.’’ She replied. “What movie did you pick?’’
“I think the name of the movie was An unexpected bond, not really sure tho...’’ He replied.
“Okay, I’ll look it up, anything else?’’ She asked.
“Um... not really.’’ He replied. “You?’’
“Nah, nothing.’’ She replied.
“Well, I guess I’ll see you at thursday then, bye.’’ He said.
“Bye.’’ She said and hung up.
Okay, let’s see what movie he choose. SunsetHeart thought to herself as she leafed through the newspaper. After a few minutes she found it. An unexpected bond, romance about a lonely colt who falls in love with a batpony filly, based upon a true story. She read through the review and a small smile creeped up on her face. Yep, it’s a date. She thought to herself.

BraveWing knocked at the door to SunsetHearts house, after a few seconds he could hear hoofsteps from the inside of the house and a moment later, SunsetHeart opened the door. ’‘Hey, you’re early!’’ She said and smiled warmly at him.
“At least I’m not late.’’ He said and rolled his eyes. “So, should we get going?’’
“Just give me a minute, need to get my scarf.’’ She said and walked back inside the house, about two minutes later she came back, with a orange scarf wrapped around her throat. ’‘Alright, let’s go.’’ She said, exited the house and locked the door behind her, and soon she trotted down the streets of Canterlot followed by BraveWing.
“So... I’ve been thinking of taking that job as a royal guard, and it looks like they are recruiting new guards soon.’’ BraveWing said, breaking the silence.
“Does the job pay better or do you just wanna do something else for a while?’’ SunsetHeart asked.
“Well, both actually, but mostly because I wanna try something new, starting to get sick of the cloud factory now.’’ He replied.
“Yeah, I can understand that.’’ She said. “Can we talk about something else? I don’t really enjoy talking about work to much.’’ She asked a moment later.
“I guess so.’’ He replied. “So what do you wanna talk about?’’ He asked shortly after.
“Um... I don’t know.’’ She replied. “Is there anything you would like to talk about?’’ She asked shortly after.
“Hm... do you play any other instruments besides the guitar?’’ He asked.
“Nah, played piano for a while, but nothing else.’’ She replied. “Do you play any instruments besides bass?’’
Wait, she actually remember me telling her that? He thought to himself. “No, I don’t, I haven’t really found any motivation to do that either tho, but I might start playing bass again.’’ He replied with a shrug.
“Well, I hope you do, maybe we could play together sometime.’’ She said with a small smile.
“Yeah, I guess so.’’ He said and smiled back.
****
SunsetHeart yawned, the movie wasn’t boring or anything, it was actually really good, but she was tired, way to tired. She leaned against BraveWings shoulder and rested her head on it and sighed softly, a moment later she could feel BraveWing resting his head on top of hers and a soft wing being wrapped around her and drew her a little bit closer. Yeah, this was a way better way to spend the night than just sit alone at home and do pretty much nothing. Am I really starting to get attached to this pony? She thought to herself, she enjoyed spending time with him, and he seemed to enjoy spending time with her. She leaned a little bit closer, making herself a little bit more comfortable. Yep, much nicer than staying home alone.
“Are you enjoying the movie?’’ A voice asked softly.
“Huh? Yeah, it’s a nice movie.’’ SunsetHeart replied and looked up at BraveWing for a second and smiled warmly at him.
“Well, looks like I finally picked a good movie then.’’ He said with a light laugh.
“I’m actually a bit surprised that you choose a romance movie, still nice tho.’’ She said.
“Hey, can you two do your talking later? If you don’t mind.’’ A stallion next to them whispered.
“Heh, sorry, we’ll stay quiet.’’ She replied with a small smile.
“Thank you.’’ The stallion whispered.
****
“Well, that was nice.’’ SunsetHeart said as they exited the cinema.
“It sure was.’’ BraveWing said with a small smile. “Correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t it based on a true story?’’
“I think so, happened pretty recently too, not sure tho.’’ She replied.
“Well, it’s nice to see that they bring the nice sides of the batponies for once.’’ He said.
“Yeah, I don’t see why they should be treated different just because they are slightly different from normal ponies, at least that OrchidMoon saw through that.’’ She said.
“I guess both of them where lucky that they found each other.’’ He said with a shrug.
“Yep, very very lucky.’’ She said.
And I’m very lucky that I found you. BraveWing thought to himself and looked at SunsetHeart for a second, who seemed to be lost in thoughts, looking up in the sky, her sapphire blue eyes shimmering in the moonlight. He didn’t really mind the silence, just walking there with somepony you cared about next to you, it was nice. He sighed softly and looked up in the sky, admiring the sight of Luna’s night, thinking about the past, he didn’t really mind talking about it, but he still didn’t like talking about it too much. He moved a little bit closer to SunsetHeart, who seemed to be to lost in her thoughts to notice. He kept on walking next to her for a few more minutes, but eventually they had to reach her house.
“So, I had a really great time tonight.’’ SunsetHeart said, breaking the silence.
“Yeah, me too.’’ He said with a smile. “Maybe we could go out like this again sometime?’’
“I guess, but now I need some sleep, I still have work tomorrow and I don’t wanna be late.’’ She replied with a small smile. ’’Or do you wanna go do something else?’’ She asked shortly after.
“Um... maybe a picnic?’’ He said encouraging. ’‘Does that sound good to you?’’
“Yeah, a picnic sounds pretty good to me.’’ She said and unlocked the door. “Well, I need to go to bed now, work tomorrow and stuff.’’
“Alright then, goodnight Sunset.’’ He said with a smile.
“Goodnight Wingy.’’ She said and planted a quick kiss on his cheek. “Looking forward to our next date.’’ She said cheerfully before she closed the door in front of a rather stunned BraveWing.
BraveWing just stared at the door, and soon a big smile creeped up on his face, he closed his eyes and sighed happily. And I do have a pretty good idea for a nice picnic. He thought to himself and started walking back home, happier than ever.
SunsetHeart leaned back against the door and sighed softly. A few seconds later she could feel a fast growing source of both love just outside the house. She walked into the living room and crashed on the couch, with a warm feeling in her chest. Maybe this is what being in love feels like? She thought to herself and sighed happily with a smile on her face. Lying there, she thought of what BraveWing would plan for their next date, or if it would be a date, which it hopefully would be. Eating at a restaurant would be nice, maybe another movie, a picnic could work, or maybe just go for a walk in the park later in evening. She closed her eyes and sighed once again. I’m really starting to get attached to him now, maybe this is the love I promised I’d find one day. She thought to herself, smiling widely.
****
BraveWing collapsed on his bed, letting out a soft moan as he buried his head into the pillow. He rolled onto his back and looked up in the ceiling, with a small smile on his face. She actually seems to likes me. He thought to himself, barley believing his own words. He closed his eyes and sighed softly, now wishing he had SunsetHeart next to him in a warm embrace, looking into those beautiful sapphire blue eyes, that wonderful little smile, cute laugh. He let out a happy sigh as he thought of this, and slowly started to fall asleep.
Living a lie without lies.
BraveWing collapsed on his bed, tired after a long day at work. A few days had passed by since the date with SunsetHeart, he had called her yesterday and actually asked her out, when she had asked what they would do he had just said it would be a surprise. Well, eating at a restaurant wasn't much of a surprise, but he had other things planned later this weekend, that would be a little bit more special than just eating at a restaurant, at least i his opinion. But that required quite a bit of planning, but hopefully it would be all worth it. He sighed and rolled onto his back, looking up in the ceiling. When he thought about it, maybe he should have told her that they where going to eat at a restaurant, the only thing he had told her was that he would pick her up at her place at 7 PM. Well, let's hope she likes the surprise at least. He thought to himself, got out of bed and started preparing himself for their date.
****
BraveWing knocked at SunsetHeart's door, he was a few minutes early but hopefully she wouldn't mind. He was wearing a slightly pink shirt and a grey suit and a red tie, he hadn't really done much with his mane, just brushed it before he left. Last time he wore this was at the school dance a few years ago, but it still fit very nicely. Well, I hope it doesn't look to bad. He thought to himself, and he could now hear hoofsteps from the inside of the house, and a moment later SunsetHeart opened the door.
“Hey, you're early.’’ She said, smiling warmly at him.
’’Is that a bad thing now?’‘ He asked and smiled back.
“You could come back in ten minutes so I had some time to prepare myself.’’ She said and rolled her eyes. “Or just wait in the living room so I can get dressed.’’
“I think I would prefer to wait in the living room then.’’ He said.
“Well, come on in.’’ She said and stepped aside, allowing BraveWing to enter the house.
BraveWing walked inside the house and heard the door being closed behind him.
“You can just go and sit down in the couch or something while I get dressed.’’ She said before she walked into her bedroom and closed the door behind her.
BraveWing sat down in the couch and leaned back, humming on a random song. After a few minutes SunsetHeart came back, wearing a very simple, flat, orange dress with red stripes on it. Instead of letting her mane just hang down, she had braided it and a few yellow stripes in it.
“Um... does it look okay?’’ She asked with a sheepish smile and looked down at her front hooves.
BraveWing simply stared at her, his jaw hanging down slightly. Sure, she looked good, but this. “You look absolutely stunning.’’ He managed to say, after about fifteen seconds of staring.
“Aw... thanks.’’ She said and looked up at him with a warm smile. “So, where are we going?’’
“Oh you will just have to wait and see.’’ He said with a secretive smile.
“You're no fun.’’ She said jokingly and gave him a light knock on the shoulder.
****
SunsetHeart looked at BraveWing, who was sitting right in front of her on the other side of the table, looking at the menu. She hadn't really expected him to take her out to a four star restaurant. Didn't he tell me to dress up? Or did I just do it anyways? She thought to herself, but left it at that.
“So, found anything you like yet?’’ BraveWing asked, taking his eyes of the menu.
“Um... I was thinking about the potato salad, but I might take the lasagna instead.’’ She replied with a shrug.
“Well, take whatever you want, I don't really mind.’’ He said with a warm smile.
“Okay then, if you say so.’’ She said and smiled back before she returned her attention to the menu. Okay, I guess I'll take the lasagna and drink pear cider to it then. She thought to herself.
“May I take your orders please?’’ One of the waiters asked.
“Um... I'll have the lasagna and pear cider.’’ SunsetHeart replied.
’‘I’ll have whatever she is having.’’ BraveWing said and leaned back in the chair.
“Alright then, I'll get you your drinks and your food should be here very soon.’’ The waiter said and walked away.
“So... have you been here before’’ SunsetHeart asked and leaned back in the chair.
“Nah, I don't really go out and eat that often, and if I do I usually just go to a bar or something...’’ He replied with a shrug.
“Well, this is a lot nicer than just sit alone in a bar, don't you think.’’ She asked.
“I guess.’‘ He replied with a small smile.
SunsetHeart leaned back a little bit more and sighed softly. “So, how was work?’‘ She asked.
“Um... alright I guess, just a slow day but other than that, not to bad.’’ He replied. “You?’’
“About the same.’’ She replied with a shrug.
“Alright, here is your drinks.’’ A waiters said, placed two glasses and two bottles of cider on the table. “I will be back with your food in a moment.’’ The waiter said before he left them alone once again.
“So... do you know when the tryout is for the guard job?’’ SunsetHeart asked and took a sip of the cider.
“Um... I think it is in about a month, I’ll look it up when I get home I guess.’’ He replied with a small smile.
“Well, do you look forward to it?’’ She asked and leaned back.
“I guess so, it's gonna be nice to get a little change now.’’ He replied. I guess I never noticed how miserable I actually was before I met her, she really brought a new meaning to my life. He thought to himself and looked down at his untouched glass of cider.
“So... anything else that is new?’’ She asked.
“Not really, started watching a few TV-shows again but that is pretty much it.’’ He replied with a shrug.
“Well, that is nice I guess, do you recommend any of them?’’ She asked and put down her glass of cider.
“Um... I guess The Vamponys diaries is a pretty good one, I haven't really watched many of the episodes yet but so far, I like it.’’ He replied.
“Huh, well, I guess I'll watch a few episodes and see if I like it.’’ She said with a shrug.
“Well, here comes our meals.’’ He said as he saw one of the waiters coming, levitating two plates with a rather fancy looking lasagna on them. He thanked the waiter and then turned his attention to SunsetHeart. “Cheers.’’ He said and raised his glass.
“Cheers.’’ She said and they clinked glasses. She took a bite of the lasagna, it was good, maybe a little bit to hot but other than that she couldn't complain. Well, I guess things are starting to look up for me again. She thought to herself and took another bite of the lasagna, which had cooled down a little bit. She glanced over at BraveWing, who was enjoying his lasagna quite a bit. “So, have you planned anything else for this evening?’’ She asked as she took another bite of the lasagna.
“Um... not really, maybe a walk in the park?’’ He replied with a nervous smile.
“Well, that sounds just wonderful.’’ She replied with a warm smile and took a sip of her cider. Maybe this cider is a little bit to strong, I should probably ask for some water. She thought to herself, put down the glass of cider and turned her attention back to the lasagna.

“Hey, Equestria to Sunset, can you hear me?’’
“Huh? Oh sorry, what did you say again?’’ SunsetHeart asked as she and BraveWing walked through one of the parks in Canterlot.
“I asked you if we could rest for a bit, just need a short rest.’’ BraveWing replied.
“I guess so, how about under that tree?’’ She asked and pointed her right forehoof at a tree near by.
“Sure.’’ He replied with a smile and started trotting over to the tree and sat down under it, soon joined by SunsetHeart.
SunsetHeart leaned her head against BraveWing's shoulder and let out a soft sigh. “This is nice.’’ She said and looked up into the sky.
“Well, I'm happy to hear that’’ BraveWing said and wrapped his right wing around her and drew her a little bit closer, then leaned his head on top of hers and let out a happy sigh.
Looking up in the sky, SunsetHeart gazed over all the small dots of light, it sure was a beautiful sight.
“Do you think wishes upon the stars can come true?’’ BraveWing asked, taking his eyes of the sky for a moment and looked at SunsetHeart.
“Um... I dunno, I guess, why do you ask?’’ She replied.
“Not really sure, when I was a colt, I wasn't really the most popular kid, some teased me a little bit, so sometimes I climbed up on top of the roof and if I saw a shooting star I used to wish that I at least could get one friend.’’ He replied, with a hint of sadness in his voice.
“Didn't your parents or the school try to do anything about it?’’ She asked, looking a little bit concerned.
“I told my parents, but they didn't do much about it, and the school didn't even seem to notice, half of the class didn't even know anything about it.’’
“Oh... did it get better later?’’ She asked, with a concerned look on her face.
“I guess, one of them actually came by one day when my parents weren't around and apologized for his behavior, he had been friends with them before they started picking on ponies and they were actually nice if you actually got to know them he said. He kept his role, tried to make them stop picking on ponies for no reason but it didn't really help, we kept hanging out sometimes, but after about two years he moved away, last time I met him he told me it was due personal problems and that he was sorry, he never had time to say where he went tho.’’ He said, still a hint of sadness in his voice.
“So, did they ever stop teasing you?’’ She asked. It sounds more like bullying. She thought to herself.
“Not really, after about a year I just got enough, I took care of some things and then moved here, got a job as fast as I could so I could pay for the house, guess I didn't realize how miserable I actually was until I met you.’’ He chuckled in reply and started sobbing slightly, then felt a warm pair oh hooves draw him into a warm embrace.
“Hey, it's okay, I got you.’’ She whispered in his left ear and patted him on his back.
“I-I just, I c-couldn't s-stop...’’ He stammered. “I... I never meant to.’’ He stopped there, unable to say more. “I just... I'm... I'm sorry for bringing this up.’’ He said, a little bit calmer, he took a few deep breaths, still in SunsetHeart's embrace.
After what felt like an hour SunsetHeart lightened the hug slightly and looked into his topaz yellow eyes. “Better?’’ She asked calmly with a small smile.
“Better.’’ He replied and smiled back as a final tear found its way down his cheek. “Now, shall we continue the walk through the park?’’
“That sounds lovely.’’ She replied and gave him a quick kiss on his forehead.
Living a lie without lies.
Wingy, you burnt the pancakes, again.
SunsetHeart leaned closer to BraveWing, who had his wings and hooves wrapped around her in a warm embrace, a few more days had passed by since his... breakdown. She didn't really know how she had gotten into this situation, but she didn't care. She buried her muzzle a little bit deeper into BraveWing's shoulder, taking in the scent of... smoke? “Wingy, did you burn the pancakes again?’’ She mumbled into his shoulder and opened her eyes and realized she had wrapped her hooves around her pillow. “Great, just another dream.’’ She mumbled to herself. Wait, why do I still smell smoke? She thought to herself. She got out of bed and walked into the kitchen. “Oh what the hay?’’

“Geez, calm down, I'm coming!’’ BraveWing shouted and walked towards the door, unlocked the door and opened it.
“Um... hi.’’ SunsetHeart said with a light blush and a sheepish smile on her face.
“Sunset, it's one AM, what are you doing here?’’ BraveWing asked, barley able to keep himself awake.
“Um... I was wondering if it would be okay if I spent the night here?’’ She asked, looking down in the ground.
“I guess, is there something wrong with yours?’’ He replied.
“Um... I don't think I will be able to sleep in that bed for a long time.’’ She replied and looked behind her back. “Please?’’
“Okay then, come inside.’’ He said with a tired smile and stepped aside, allowing her to enter the house.
“Thank you.’’ She said and offered him a tired smile a she entered the house.
“No problem, just don't wake me up like this again, okay?’’ He said jokingly and closed the door.
“I'll try to.’’ She replied with a tired grin. “So... I'm gonna get something to drink real quick, you can just go back to sleep, okay?’’ She said and headed for the kitchen, she could hear him mumble a “Goodnight’’ and a moment later close the door to his bedroom. How did that oven even catch on fire? I didn't even use it today. She thought to herself, opened the fridge and grabbed some milk. Well, at least I'll spend more time with Wingy now. She thought to herself as she poured the milk into a glass and took a sip. It didn't really do much, but it helped her calm down a little bit, when she was finished she put down he now empty glass and started walking towards BraveWing's bedroom and slowly opened the door. She walked inside and carefully closed the door behind her. She curled up next to him and wrapped her hooves around his stomach and buried her muzzle in his yellow mane. “Goodnight Wingy.’’ She whispered, and slowly started to fall asleep, holding him in a warm embrace.
****
BraveWing woke up, the first thing he noticed was that the bed was significantly warmer than usual, and would feel warm air blow past his right ear. He opened his eyes slowly and looked around, spotting SunsetHeart curled up behind him, holding him in a warm hug. He rolled over and returned the hug, drawing her closer in a warm embrace and buried his muzzle in her red mane, which carried a sweet scent of blackberries. He leaned back slightly and looked at her, peacefully sleeping next to him. He smiled at the sight, and nuzzled her nose, and received a blissful hum in response and a moment later she slowly opened her eyes.
“Good morning Wingy.’’ She said with a humming tone and smiled at him.
“Mornin Sunset, did you sleep well?’’ He said and returned the smile.
“Indeed I did, you?’’ She replied.
“Slept like a log.’’ He said and drew her a little bit closer than before.
“Well, I need to take a shower, why don't you go and make some breakfast while I do that?’’ She asked and nuzzled his nose.
“Sounds like a plan.’’ He said. “Anything specific you want?’’
“Um... I dunno, pancakes?’’ She replied with a small grin.
“I could make that.’’ He replied.
“Great, I'll just go and take a quick shower then.’’ She said, gave him a quick kiss before she left the bed and headed of into the bathroom, leaving a slightly shocked smiling pegasus alone in the bed.
BraveWing closed his eyes and sighed happily, trying not to think of what was going on just a few rooms away. Well, I might just start making some pancakes. He thought to himself, got out of bed and started walking towards the kitchen. He took one of the books from its shelf and started looking for a more, tasty recipe for pancakes. Sure, plain old pancakes would do, but there wasn't anything wrong spending some more effort making breakfast for your marefriend? After about two minutes he stopped at a recipe, blueberry pancakes with banana and apple slices. Well, I do have a few blueberries in the freezer, and I think I bought some fruits last time I was getting food for the week. He thought to himself and started preparing the pancakes as he waited for SunsetHeart to finish her shower. After about twenty minutes the last pancake made its way to the pile of pancakes, he placed the frying pan in the sink and placed the plate with pancakes on the table. He got some syrup from the fridge and placed it on the table and then two plates for him and SunsetHeart. Isn't she done with the shower yet? If this is a quick shower I don't wanna find out what a long one would be. He thought to himself. At least he couldn't hear the water running anymore so she would probably come out any minute now. And about four minutes later, he could hear the door to the bathroom being unlocked and a moment later SunsetHeart walked out of the bathroom.
“So, did you make the pancakes?’’ She asked with a cheerful tone and smiled at him.
“Indeed I did.’’ He replied with a grin and sat down at the table, soon joined by SunsetHeart.
“I honestly didn't expect you to put this much effort into this.’’ SunsetHeart admitted as she took one of the pancakes and poured some syrup over it. “Thanks.’’ She said with a small smile and took a bite of the pancake and closed her eyes and chewed on it slowly with a happy hum.
“So, it seems like you are enjoying your pancakes.’’ He said.
“Yep.’’ She replied and leaned back in the chair.
“So, you never told me why you came over last night, do you mind telling me?’’ He asked and took a bite of his pancake.
“Um... well, I don't really know what happened, I just woke up in the middle of the night smelling smoke, I went to the kitchen and found the oven on fire.’’ She said and looked down with a hint of sadness in her voice. “Never got an insurance or anything, didn't think anything was gonna happened, I guess I only have myself to blame.’’ She said and lowered her ears slightly. “Is it okay if I stay here? Just until I've found a new place?’’ She asked and looked up at BraveWing.
BraveWing just stared at her for a moment, with a slightly confused and concerned look on his face, he closed his eyes and took a deep breath. “Sunset.’’ He started. “If you want to stay, you can, it would be really nice to have you around here more, so if you really want to, you can stay here.’’ He said and looked down, waiting for a reply. A few seconds later he could feel a pair of hooves being wrapped around him and drew him into a warm embrace.
“Thank you.’’ SunsetHeart whispered as she buried her muzzle in his shoulder, a moment later, she let go of a rather stunned BraveWing. “Now, lets eat the rest of these pancakes before they get cold, okay?’’ She said, leaned forward and nuzzled him before she sat down in her chair once again and started eating.
“So, anything else happened lately?’’ He asked as he took a bite of his pancake.
“Um... PrizedHue thought it would be a good idea to get a small section for jewelry in the store, I might go and visit an old friend from Ponyville soon, and I guess that's it.’’ She replied as she took the last pancake from the plate.
“Well, that sounds nice.’’ He replied with a smile. “So, do you have anything planned for today?’’
“Not really, why?’’ She replied.
“I dunno, guess we could do something to make time pass by.’’ He replied.
“Well, got any ideas?’’ She asked and leaned back in the chair.
“Um... maybe we could just hire some movies and watch here? Maybe get some snacks while we're at it.’’ He replied with a nervous smile.
“That sounds nice, how about this. I can go and hire some movies, you can get the snacks and prepare some dinner, does that sound good to you?’’ She replied and smiled at him.
“I guess...’’ He replied with a shrug. “Well, lets get going.’’
****
“Hey Sunset, what kind of movies did you hire?’’ BraveWing asked.
“Um... that will be a surprise.’’ She said with a grin and leaned her head against BraveWing's shoulder. The day had passed by rather quickly and uneventful, BraveWing had bought the snacks, and SunsetHeart had hired a few movies that they could watch. And now both were sitting in a couch in front if the TV, waiting for the first movie to start.
“So, you said you would visit a friend in Ponyville soon, right?’’ BraveWing asked as he wrapped his right wing around SunsetHeart, bringing her a little bit closer to himself.
“Yes, I probably will.’’ She replied with a soft sigh and closed her eyes. “So, anything new from the royal guard thing?’’ She asked softly, opened her eyes and looked up at BraveWing.
“Not yet, but I think I might get another letter about it soon tho.’’ He replied with a shrug. “So...’’ BraveWing started. “Do you mind going on a date this Friday?’’ He asked with a nervous smile.
“I don't have anythings else planned other than visiting my old friend, but I guess Friday sounds good.’’ She replied and kissed BraveWing on the cheek, which caused him to blush slightly.
“Glad to hear that, I do need some time for preparations but it shouldn't take to long.’’ He said and brought SunsetHeart a little bit closer. “So, lets watch that movie now, okay?’’
****
BraveWing looked at the sleeping mare on his shoulder and let out a happy sigh. Well, she didn't stay up as long as I thought. He thought to himself as he glanced over at the clock. He leaned back a little bit more and closed his eyes. Well, at least I will have some company now. He thought to himself and shook her lightly. “Hey, wake up.’’ He whispered softly, nothing. “Well, I guess I'll have to carry you all the way back to bed then.’’ He whispered, lifted her onto his back and started walking towards his bedroom.
“Hey,Wingy?’’ SunsetHeart said drowsily.
“Yes?’’ He said, turned his head around and offered her a small smile.
“Thank you for letting me stay here, it really means a lot to me.’’ She said and smiled back tiredly.
“Hey, don't mention it, it's really nice to have you around.’’ He said and dropped her of on the bed carefully and lay down next to her and wrapped his hooves around her in a warm embrace. “Goodnight Sunset.’’ He whispered, closed his eyes and buried his muzzle into her red mane.
“Night Wingy.’’ She murmured, leaned her head on top of BravWing's chest and let out a soft sigh.
“I had a really great time today.’’ He whispered.
“Yeah, me too.’’ She whispered back and let out a happy sigh.
I guess wishes upon the stars can come true after all. He thought to himself before he fell asleep, holding the mare of his dreams in a warm embrace.
Living a lie without lies.
As a few days passed by, the bonds between Brave Wing and Sunset Heart grew slightly stronger every day, it took some time for Brave Wing to get used to the whole relationship thing, but was starting to get more comfortable with it eventually, with some help from Sunse tHeart of course.
****
“Wingy, wake up.’’ Sunset Heart murmured as she shook the sleeping pegasus next to her, trying to wake him up. “C'mon Wingy, wake up already.’’ She said and shook him a little bit harder.
“Just five more minutes.’’ Brave Wing groaned into his pillow, trying to shove her away with his right forehoof, without any success.
“Can you make me pancakes if I let you sleep a little bit longer?’’ Sunset Heart asked and leaned a little bit closer and nuzzled his cheek.
“Only if I get to sleep for ten more minutes AND you are staying here during that time.’’ Brave Wing replied and turned his head around with a warm smile.
“Deal.’’ Sunset Heart said and returned the smile, leaned forward and planted a soft kiss on his lips, which the light blue pegasus happily returned. “So, any more information about the royal guard lately?’’ She asked as she broke the kiss.
“Yes, I got that letter yesterday actually, I guess I forgot about it, heh.’’ Brave Wing replied and smiled nervously at her. “Forgive me?’’
“Only if you get me some of those chocolate chip pancakes.’’ Sunset Heart replied jokingly and nuzzled his cheek.
“You know that you could've just asked me to make them, right?’’ Brave Wing said and nuzzled her cheek.
“I know, I'm just messing with you a little bit, that's all.’’ She chuckled. “Buuuut, I still want those chocolate chip pancakes, mkay?.’’ Sunset Heart said.
“Don't worry, I'll make you a pile of those chocolate chip pancakes.’’ Brave Wing said and gave her kiss on the cheek, which was rewarded with a cute giggle.
“So, what did that letter say then?’’ Sunset Heart asked.
“Not much, I just have to go make it in the tryouts and I'll get the job.’’ Brave Wing replied with a smile.
“Huh, so you'll quit your job at the cloud factory then?’’ Sunset Heart asked with a frown.
“Not yet, I guess I'll quit when the tryout starts, but since I worked overtime for a while I have a few extra days off.’’ Brave Wing replied with a faint smile.
“So, have anything planned for your day off?’’ Sunset Heart asked.
“Um... I don't know actually, don't you have work today?’’ Brave Wing replied.
“No, Prized Hue let me take the rest of the week of since my... since my house burnt down.’’ Sunset Heart replied and looked away with a sad look on her face. “I'm sorry, I just... lost some personal stuff and all... and...’’ She trailed with a shaky voice and a tear founds its way down her cheek, a moment later she could feel a pair of hooves being wrapped around her and pull her into a comforting embrace. “Please don't leave me.’’ She grumbled as she returned the hug and buried her muzzle into his chest.
“Hey, don't worry, I'd never leave you, I promise.’’ He whispered in soothing tone and slowly drew his left forehoof through her mane and patted her on her back.
“Promise?’’ Sunset Heart asked as she pulled back slightly and looked Brave Wing in the eyes.
“I will never leave you, I promise.’’ Brave Wing whispered and brought her a little bit closer. “Now, how about this. I'll go and make those pancakes, and you can just sit here and relax while I do that, does that sound good to you?’’ He asked gently and nuzzled her cheek.
“Yes, that sounds absolutely wonderful.’’ Sunset Heart replied and offered him a small smile. “But first, you have to stay here for at least five more minutes and cuddle with me.’’ She stated and crushed Brave Wing in a tight embrace.
“C-can't br-breath-e.’’ Brave Wing choked, grasping for air.
“Heh, sorry.’’ Sunset Heart said with a small blush and pulled away slightly, allowing Brave Wing to breathe normally again.
“Its fine, just be a little bit more gentle next time you're gonna crush me in a hug like that, okay?’’ Brave Wing said and gave her a soft kiss on her muzzle. “Now, I believe I have at least four more minutes of cuddling before I have to make those pancakes.’’ He said and gently brought Sunset Heart closer and nuzzled her.
“That you do.’’ Sunset Heart said and leaned into the embrace. “Thank you for being here for me by the way, it really means a lot to me.’’ She whispered softly as she closed her eyes and leaned her head onto his chest with a happy sigh.
“Hey, don't mention it, it's just nice to have you around you know.’’ Brave Wing whispered and kissed her on the forehead, which caused the yellow coated mare giggle quietly.“So, maybe we could have a picnic today or something, just to brighten up the mood a little bit?’’ He asked and drew a hoof through her silky red mane.
“That sounds wonderful.’’ Sunset Heart replied softly and looked up slightly with a small smile. “Or maybe, we could get you some dance lessons, I think you'll need that.’’ She chuckled.
“I'll think about it.’’ Brave Wing chuckled, leaned back and sighed.
“So, where do you wanna have the picnic?’’ Sunset Heart asked.
“Um... there is a nice park near by, I guess we could've our picnic there, does that sound to good?’’ Brave Wing asked.
“Okay, works for me.’’ Sunset Heart replied with a small smile. “Do you want be to prepare some sandwiches for it or will you do that?’’ She asked softly.
“Nah, I got it.’’ He replied and gave her a soft kiss on the lips, which the red maned mare happily returned. “So, do you think we should have the picnic before or after lunch?’’ Brave Wing asked as he broke the kiss.
“After lunch.’’ Sunset Heart stated.
“Alright then, picnic after lunch, but now I believe that I have to make you some chocolate chip pancakes.’’ Brave Wing said planted a soft kiss on her before he got out of bed and started walking towards the kitchen. About twenty minutes later Brave Wing was finally done with the last chocolate chip pancake, he put the frying pan he'd been using in the sink and took the plate with pancakes and balanced it on his right wing and two other plates on his left wing and started walking towards the bedroom. “Okay, I got the pancakes.’’ He called out as he entered the bedroom.
“Remember, this was your idea, so if I get chocolate all over your sheets, it's your fault.’’ Sunset Heart said with a small grin as he put down the three plates on the bed and lie down next to her.
“Are you gonna get chocolate all over the sheets on purpose?’’ Brave Wing asked and raised an eyebrow. Wait, didn't she ask me to make... whatever. He thought to himself and decided it was not worth starting an pointless argument about it.
“Maybeee...’’ Sunset Heart teased.
“I hate you sometimes, you know that?’’ Brave Wing said and nuzzled her.
“I know.’’ Sunset Heart chuckled and nuzzled him back. “Now, lets start eating those pancakes, shall we?’’ She said and took one of the pancakes, placed it on the plate in front of her and took a bite.
“Like it?’’ Brave Wing chuckled as he took a pancake for himself and started eating.
“ Yes, and from now on, I want these pancakes every Saturday and Sunday morning, and days off work.’’ Sunset Heart stated as she finished her first pancake.
“So, now I'm just the little colt who makes you pancakes every day off work?’’ Brave Wing asked and raised an eyebrow.
“Um... you are a very nice pillow too?’’ SusnetHeart said with a goofy smile.
“Naaaw... c'm here.’’ Brave Wing said and wrapped his hooves around Sunset Heart in a embrace, doing this, he accidentally knocked down half of the pile of pancakes on the sheets.
“I can safely say that that was your fault.’’ Sunset Heart stated.
“I think I'll survive.’’ Brave Wing chuckled and planted a soft kiss on Sunset Heart's forehead. “I needed to change sheets soon anyways.’’
“Whatever makes you feel better.’’ Sunset Heart said and rolled her eyes. “So, what do you wanna do until lunch?’’ Sunset Heart asked.
“Um... maybe we could watch some TV?’’ Brave Wing replied with a shrug. “Or did you have anything else in mind?’’
“I thought we could play some board games or something, but I guess we could watch some TV too.’’ Sunset Heart replied.
“So, would you rather play board games than watch TV?’’ Brave Wing asked.
“It would be nice to play some chess, haven't played that in a while, is that alright with you?.’’ She replied.
“Sure, I guess we could play a few games of chess.’’ Brave Wing replied with a shrug. “Should I go and get the chess now?’’ He asked.
“Yeah, do that, I'm just gonna take a quick shower first.’’ Sunset Heart replied and gave Brave Wing a quick kiss on his muzzle before she got out of bed and headed for the bathroom.
When Sunset Heart was out of sight Brave Wing looked at the chocolate covered sheets and sighed. Well, I guess I'll have to fix that later. He thought to himself and went to the living room and started looking for the chess that he'd gotten from his parents a few years ago, he had played quite a bit with his friend before he moved away. “He could've told me where he went at least.’’ Brave Wing grumbled to himself as he continued his search for the chess, after a few more minutes of searching he found it in a cabinet. Well, now when that's out of the way I'll just have to wait for Sunset Heart to finish her shower I guess. He thought to himself as he brought the chess to the kitchen and placed it on the table. Well, now I just need to wait for Sunset Heart to finish her shower. He thought to himself.
****
“Sorry Wingy, I win again.’’ Sunset Heart said with a smirk.
“Aw come on, how are you so good at this?’’ Brave Wing said, slightly annoyed.
“I played quite a bit chess when I was younger, so you don't have to feel to bad for losing, again.’’ Sunset Heart chuckled. “So, do you wanna play again?’’ She asked.
“I think I've had enough now, might as well quit while I still have some pride left.’’ Brave Wing replied and rolled his eyes. “So, what do you wanna do now?’’ He asked.
“Well, since we don't have to eat lunch within the next two hours maybe we could watch a movie or something?’’ Sunset Heart replied.
“I guess we could do that, do you want me to check the newspaper for any good movies?’’ Brave Wing asked.
“Nah, let's just zap around until we find something interesting.’’ Sunset Heart replied with a shrug.
“Alright then, let me just pack up this chess first.’’ Brave Wing said with a small smile.
“Okay, should I try to find something interesting to watch in the meantime?’’ Sunset Heart asked.
“Yeah, that would be nice, I'll be right with you.’’ Brave Wing replied and smiled warmly towards her, she nodded and left the kitchen. He took all the chessmen and put them back in the wooden box with the chessboard. He balanced the wooden box on his wing and headed for the living room, he placed the wooden box back on its place in the bookshelf and sat down in the couch, next to Sunset Heart. “Found anything interesting yet?’’ He asked.
“Not yet, seems like all the good shows and movies only air when you have work.’’ Sunset Heart replied with a shrug.
“Heh, yeah I guess.’’ Brave Wing chuckled.
“Well, I guess we'll just have to keep looking until we find something interesting.’’ Sunset Heart said and leaned her head against Brave Wing's shoulder.
“Yeah, I guess so.’’ Brave Wing chuckled. “Well ,at least the company is good, I guess that is something.’’ He said as he wrapped his right wing around Sunset Heart and brought her a little bit closer to himself.
“It sure is.’’ Sunset Heart sighed and nuzzled his cheek. “It sure is.’’
