Dead Rising: Off the World
Out Of Control (Psychopath Included)
Previous ChapterNext ChapterChapter 5 - Out Of Control----------
Nighttime overcame Ponyville; a time Frank had always feared. Having a crapload of zombies inches away from you in the night truly traumatized him, and even now, he was afraid of the dark. Light was still a valuable partner to him, but it sometimes proved to be useless.
The freelance photographer planned to stay in the library for several days. He didn't want to bother the purple unicorn because the fact that she's a bookworm irritates him. The bed was too small for him, so Frank slept on the floor. However, something bothered him.
He walked out of the entrance of the library silently. What he was planning to do was meant to be a secret, as he saw several things many other ponies probably wouldn't have.
'I saw some weird flashes of light out there...'
Frank silently followed the path to the damn forest. He took out a flashlight that, to his luck, seemed to have full batteries. Clicking the button, an excessive amount of light burst out of the tiny glass. It faced the darkness of the forest, confirming where Frank was going to. He knew something was wrong instantly.
There was absolutely no noise coming from any animal. At first, he thought about considering the fact that the weird-ass place he was in only had creatures in the daylight. However, he did see an owl outside the library once, and owls are nocturnal.
But just when he thought about going back, a familiar noise came in his left side. The noise of a tree branch being stepped on.
Frank twirled around and found nothing. Fearing the worst, he took out his handgun and prepared for any form of combat that would be necessary. This was a correct decision, however, as the noise of two chainsaws blasted right behind him.
----------Psychopath Battle: Adam MacIntyre----------
What Frank first did was to get the hell away from two deadly blades that just screamed, 'These are just for you.'
He looked behind him, only to find the thing he hated the most; clowns. What was worse? It was a familiar fat clown with red-hair. Oh, and don't forget to add in the fact that he always smiled and laughed.
'First, the guy with a few screws short of a workbench. Now it's the fatass that gave me nightmares about clowns...
Adam asked in a strange child-like voice, "What's wrong, gramps? Who told you that the ride was over?"
"Why the hell are you here, Adam? Those chainsaws literally cut you in half, you sick bastard!"
The insane clown laughed at Frank's intense aura. This caused the photographer to get aggravated and fire several rounds. As expected, Adam deflected the bullets with the pair of gifts sent from his brother.
"Well..." said the clown as he slowly looked up to see Frank, "You did stop the ride, gramps. And I don't think flashlights were supposed to be allowed!"
Adam's right chainsaw deactivated as the noise from it died out. He dropped it, only to suddenly grab something and throw it at Frank. The photographer raised a hand up and attempted to block it with his flashlight. Once he did, however, his only source of light began to flicker as he realized what exactly hit it.
"Aw, shit..." mumbled Frank as the hunting knife was pointing directly at his face. He looked up, only to find the chainsaw-wielding psychopath dashing at him. However, even if the lunatic did have some neat tricks, he had some of his own.
Adam began rolling towards Frank in the similar fashion he did in Willamette. However, he seemed to be much faster than he normally was, making his prey startled by the high-speed. The clown stood up just in time to swing both chainsaws in an 'X' fashion, but missed Frank. Barely.
Frank began firing several rounds at the clown to distract him. He began to contemplate with a very short amount of ample time,
'If this guy was hard-headed as Chuck, than I could use the same method I used before in order to kill him. But I know he's clever despite his stupid IQ...' thought Frank as he proceeded to jump back just in time before a hunting knife stabbed him right in the chest.
'The only source of light I have is that flashlight, but it's keep on flickering as if it's teasing me! Dammit, think Frank West! Think!'
Just when he thought about firing once more, the clown pulled off a new trick; he jumped up and grabbed onto a tree. He then proceeded to jump from tree-to-tree, approaching Frank in a stranger method.
"Dammit, stay still you fatass!"
"HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!"
Adam abruptly cut off the process and landed in front of the photographer. However, the fall did inflict some pain in the clown, giving Frank a chance to pull off a cheap trick that Chuck had once used on him. He ran towards the clown without hesitation. As expected, the clown hesitated to attack, but did proceed to run towards him and laugh once more. When they were in a point-blank range, the photographer slid on the ground with his back and took away Adam's left chainsaw.
While Frank stood up, the clown threw a knife expertly at his enemy. The knife, however, was deflected by the chainsaw that Adam had been using once. The sane man grinned smugly.
"Dejavu could be one hell of a bastard."
But to his surprise, the photographer heard something that he didn't expect would come out of Adam's mouth; he screamed in rage. It sounded terrible just to listen to, as it made Frank cover his ears.
"No one uses my brother's gift against me. No one."
As soon as he was done, the clown began laughing once more. The insane man lunged towards Frank, attempting to saw his prey in half. Frank dropped his chainsaw and expertly dodged the attack, tripping Adam in the process. He knew the battle was over as soon as blood was painted all over him.
It happened again. Adam died laughing while two chainsaws sawed him in half. Frank felt drowsy just by listening and seeing the event happen once more in front of him. As soon as the clown stopped laughing, he turned off the chainsaws mercifully.
"I saw his stupid prank." said Frank sarcastically.
As soon as several minutes passed with the body lying on the ground, Frank began making a graveyard with his hands. He wanted the damn clown to stay in a grave before he came back out alive miraculously like Chuck Greene.
'Since Adam was in the source of light, then that means it must've somehow transported himself in here. I don't know how this happened, but those other sources of light... I'm worried about them.'
Tired from the battle, Frank thought about walking back to Ponyville after the graveyard was fully created. However, he realized one thing he would need to explain.
'...I'll just put the clothes in the laundry. They'll get over it.'
(Author's Notes)
I know I've been leaving out the Mane Six out for a while, but I'll try to make up for their absence. In the meantime, I hope you enjoyed the gory battle! It was something I had wanted to do for quite a while by now. Also, Psychopath Battles will become slightly absent, because I am now creating several original psychopaths as well. PM me for ideas, but don't expect me to accept them freely, because I want the psychopaths to develop a battle that's actually interesting.
