Chapters Tale of Derpy Hooves and Time Turner Whooves
One day, young Derpy Hooves was trotting down her daily mail route. she was a seventeen year old gray coated Pegasus mare with blond hair, yellow eyes, and a bubbles cutie mark. She was not the most balanced pony in Ponyville, but she was, strangely, the only pony whom was out and about. Seemingly, Derpy trotted along the path.
I wonder if anypony’s home here, she thought. This was the 37th house she’s been to on this route, but no pony was home… again. This was starting to get annoying. WHAT THE HAY WAS GOING ON, FOR CELESTIA’S SAKE?! She didn’t know what was going on, but little did she know, she was in for a big surprise.
"Hmm? What's this?" She squinted as she read the print at the top. "Police Box? What in the world is a 'Police Box'?" She looked inside, and saw it was huge on the inside!
Confused, she called out, “Hello?” hello, hello, hello? “Is anyone in here?” here, here, here? “What is this place?” place, place, place? Then Derpy heard someone say, “AHH! DASH IT ALL!” The voice had a Trottish (mlp for British) accent, and sounded like the speaker dropped something heavy on their hoof.
“HELLO?! ANYONE THERE?! MY NAME IS DERPY, AND HOW DID YOUR BIG BOX HOUSE THINGAMAGIG GET TO PONYVILLE?!” No pony answered, but after a few moments someone called back, “Is someone there? I didn’t think anyone would notice my TARDIS.”
Derpy was confused. “What does TARDIS mean?” she asked. That voice called back, “Time and Relative Dimension in Space. It helps me travel from one place to another in the past, present, and future. I know it sounds utterly insane, but it’s true.”
Derpy now was still confused. “Wait, who are you?” The pony said, “My name is Tennant. David Nigel Tennant. I’m from England. I created this TARDIS with my own hands-“ Derpy interrupted, “Hands? What are hands? And I’ve never heard a name that strange! What does David Nigel Tennant mean? My name means derped hooves because I can’t walk straight. That, and my right eye doesn’t line up right. It just likes to wander. But if I concentrate really hard… and…. Ta-da!” she said a few moments later and, surprisingly, both her eyes were straight! How did she do that, David thought.
Derpy was going back to David's house. Still, it was a strange name for a pony. So, she was going to find a name that would fit his personality. And from what David explained, he was born with a special gift. The gift of time. When he found out, he became the Time Lord. But while he was completing the TARDIS, every one in his town, including his family, formed an angry mob, and forced David to use the TARDIS before he was done completing it. Since he wasn't finished building the TARDIS, it crashed into Equestria and he then met Derpy, who helped him get to know the ponies of Ponyville.
When Derpy got to the TARDIS, David greeted her at the door. "Ah, Derpy, how good to see you! Are you ready to help me find a pony name?" Derpy nodded excitedly. "Yep! But first, may I come in?" It was mid-winter, so it was super cold. "Of course, Derpy. Make your self at home." David said.
"Okay, thank you. So, let's see..." Derpy said, "Well, according to this book that Twilight-" David was surprised to hear that name. "Did you say Twilight? That's my half-sister!" Now Derpy was surprised. "Twi's your half-sister? How?" David started to tell Derpy why Twilight was his half-sister. "Derpy, did you ever wonder whom, exactly, was Twilight's father? Well, he was from the human world, and in this world he is a unicorn, so i got my powers from him. Strange I'm not a unicorn like my father in this world, but who am i to judge?"

Rarity was so excited. “You’re engaged?! To whom?!” she shouted. She just found out that Derpy was getting married. Derpy smiled and said, “His name is Time Turner Whooves. He has a brown coat, blue eyes, and dark brown hair. I have a picture of him right here.” She showed her a picture of her fiancé. Rarity was impressed. “Well, well, well, haven’t you found quite the match.” Derpy realized she forgot a detail. “Oh, I almost forgot! He has the same accent as you, Rarity! He’s from Trottingham,” she lied. The accent part was true, but he wasn’t from Trottingham, he was from the human world. But she wouldn’t tell her.
“Okay Derpy, let’s get to work.” Rarity said, “First, let’s take my measuring tape to measure tour waist size.” She took her measuring tape, and saw that Derpy was a size 5. “Okay, now we know you’re a size five, so now we need a color for the ensemble. What color would you like for your gown?”
“Uh, do you have brown with gold accents? We were hoping for a steam punk wedding.” Derpy said. Rarity was confused. “What’s steam punk? I’ve never heard of that.” Derpy was surprised that Rarity didn’t know what steam punk was. “I’ll let Time Turner tell you.” She said.
That was just the beginning of everything.
Derpy was on her way to Pinkie Pie’s home at Sugarcube Corner. She was a good cake baker and close friend. And when Derpy wanted baked goods from Sugarcube Corner, she went there. Okay, Sugarcube Corner wasn’t only a home, but a family business. Pinkie Pie was taken in by the Cake family when she moved out of her family’s rock farm. She loved her family, really, but they were too boring. She was only 5 years old when she moved out of her old home.
When Pinkie heard the news, she wouldn’t stop talking, and boy, could she jabber. “YOU’RE GETTING MARRIED?! OH MY GOSH! I HAVE TO TELL THE OTHERS!!!!!”
And off she went.

Soon Derpy was talking to Twilight about the wedding planning. "Do you think you can help put it together in time? I know you planned Princess Cadence's wedding, but you know what happened with the changelings. I don't want that to happen at my wedding." But Twilight understood why Derpy was nervous. "Don't worry, Derpy," Twilight said, "I won't let that happen to any of my friends. Pinkie Promise." She did the funny motions of the Pinkie Pie Promise.
"Thank you, Twi. And I know that if you break your Pinkie Pie Promise, Pinkie Pie herself will come after you with her party cannon!" Both mares laughed at that thought. "So, when is the wedding going to take place, Derpy?" Twilight asked.
Derpy thought about it. "In about a month from now, so... what's today?" Twilight now looked at the calendar to see what today was. "January 13, why?"
"Oh, just want to make sure I'm getting married on the right date. Is something wrong, Twi?" Derpy asked. I wonder why Twilight is so shaken. Twilight looked away from the calendar. "Derpy, the date for your wedding is on February 13, on a Friday! Can't you move it to the 14th? It's the most romantic day in Equestria." She sounded scared. "Oh, don't be such a scaredy-cat, Twilight! It's just a silly superstition. It'll be fine."
Oh, she didn't know just how wrong she was.

Dr. Whooves looked up from his study. “Derpy, when are we going to dinner?” he asked. He was getting very hungry, and it was almost dinner time. “In 5 minutes, Doctor. I just have to get this stupid dress on.” Derpy called from her room. They had been together for a whole year now, and Whooves was going to tell Derpy something really important.
He was going to propose to her.
How can I propose to her without making a fool out of myself? He thought. No, don’t think of that, David. You’ll get through this. You are going to propose to her without making a fool of yourself. And she will say yes. She will. But how can I marry a pony? I was born a human in England. How can it work? But it will work. This will work. People marry for love. So do ponies. This will work.
Without saying a word, he strode out of his study, wearing:
• A black neck tie
• A white shirt
• A black tuxedo
• Black dress shoes (for a pony)
He was ready for dinner in Canterlot. It was the capital of Equestria, and the fanciest town in the country. And maybe after today…
Derpy was going to be his wife. And nothing was going to stop him from having her.
On the train, Time Turner was a little skittish. But Derpy was keeping calm. How can he be nervous? Is he hiding a secret from me? Why is there a lump in his pocket? Derpy’s head was racing with questions. But what she didn’t know is that he had a wedding ring for her.
It was a half-hour trip to Canterlot by train, and Time Turner was having some doubts about proposing to Derpy. But he wouldn't let them stop him from doing what he wanted.
And they didn't.

In the restaurant, Whooves was fiddling with his hooves. He was waiting for the right time to propose to Derpy. But then he decided.
He was going to propose right then.
“Um… Derpy, there’s something I’ve been meaning to tell you, and I’ve wanted to tell you this, well…” he showed her the ring. “Derpy, will you… marry me?” he winced as he squeaked out the question.
Derpy’s eyes went wide. “Yes. I will.” Whooves smiled, “What was that? I couldn’t hear you.” Derpy smiled as wide as she could. “YES! I WILL!” she yelled. Now, he smiled as wide as he could. “What’s going on over here?” a female voice said. Whooves looked over. It was his sister, Twilight Sparkle. “Twi? What are you doing here?” Twilight was his sister because their father was from the human world, so Twilight was part human too. “Remember? I live here.” She said. “Oh, that’s right. Oh, I just proposed to Derpy, here. Looks like you’re going to have another sister-in-law.” He said. Oh, boy, that got twilight so excited, like you would NOT believe! “YES, YES, YES, YES, YES, YES, YES!” she screamed. Now, the whole restaurant was staring at them.
But Time Turner couldn’t be happier.
Derpy was on her way to Carousel Boutique to tell Rarity what was going to happen. She couldn’t stop smiling on the train home. I wonder how she’s going to react. She thought. She needed measurements done, a wedding dress made, talk to Pinkie Pie about a wedding cake and party planning, but no, she had a friend named Scented Ink that was good at organizing. She was going to ask her about planning her wedding. Okay, where were we? Oh, that’s right! Ask Rarity to make Time Turner’s suit, ask Fluttershy to cover the music for the reception, ask Twilight to be her best mare, oh, this was going to be PERFECT!
