Chapters The Conversion Bureau: The Old Republic
Empress Celestia stood triumphant over the new planet of Equis. Earth and its human population had now been converted and she could finally continue with the next phase. She heard somepony walk right next to her; her Student: Twilight Sparkle.
“Empr- Celestia, every human has now been converted and the Newfoals are settling in.” she reported. Celestia allowed a small grin to grace her muzzle. This world had been converted and the last remnants of Humanity had been annihilated.
“But the teams found this” Twilight said, levitating some sort of device; a small grated disc. Her grin transformed into a scowl. How did something like that escape the Barrier?
“What is it?” she asked Twilight. She glared at the device before (poorly) pressing a button on the device. It flared into action as a blue translucent male human appeared.
“Scout recording number 2-5-1-6; starship ‘Courier’. We have landed on a fertile world; the Republic is going to be pleased with this.” It went on to spout knowledge of ancient Earth. Celestia zoned out until the hologram reached an… interesting event.
The figure coughed and clutched his side, apparently wounded. “Scout recording number 5-7-1-1; starship ‘Courier’. We’re stranded here; a Meteorite smashed into the ship. The Hyperdrive is busted and some sort of EMP from the ship knocked out all power. We have no way to contact the Republic. I’ve left star Co-ordinates to Coruscant on this holocommunicator.” The human seemed desperate. Celestia looked at the evidence. This was not humanity’s homeworld: this was merely a failed colony.
“Twilight? Is this human’s ship intact?” she asked her student.
“Yes Celestia. Apart from the ‘Hyperdrive’ which; thanks to that device, we now have the schematics for, it is in working order.” Said Twilight. “Why do you need it?”
“We are going to save the humans of the Galaxy now.” Celestia informed her. Twilight seemed shocked at first but conceded and showed her to the Human vessel. Today would be the beginning of a new age for the Galaxy.
Corporal Darlen Javis awoke with a jump. He quickly jumped out of his bunk and stumbled over to his locker. He pulled out his standard issue Imperial Soldier armour and placed it on his bunk in the barracks. He slipped on the bodysuit first; legs, then torso and arms and finally the head. He then began the laborious process of placing on each of his armour pieces. He had gotten to the arms when someone tapped him on the back. Javis turned around to see Specialist Varren giving him the creepiest smile he knew.
“Hey there Corporal.” He greeted.
“Hey, Varry… anything new?” he asked the trooper. Varren was the brawn of his squad; if you wanted someone very dead; you called in Specialist Varren. He was proud of his services.
“Negatory Javis; no attacks just yet, hope one comes ‘round soon. I’m itching for a fight.” He said in an unnaturally gruff voice.
“Cut that voice out would ‘ya?” Javis asked Varren with a hint of annoyance in his voice.
“Fine, fine; no funny business today.” Sighed Varren. “Besides; weather is Shithouse outside, not much to do for the moment.”
He lifted up his heavy Assault Cannon and placed in a new Blaster Magazine. Javis continued to place on his armour and loaded his Blaster Rifle. He shot Varren a smile before placing on his helmet. Both of them walked outside into the harsh, sun-baked streets of Sobrik, Balmorra.
A figure in blue armour hid in the bushes from the massive gundark approaching. She sighed and aimed her Blaster Rifle right at the beast’s head. Before it could react, she fired a salvo at it; burning through its skull, killing it instantly. She jumped down and pulled out her Vibroblade to collect her Trophy. She was Virko Kelborn; a young Mandalorian warrior. She looked over her shoulder; never could be too careful in the Jungles of Dromund Kaas. She collected her Trophy and started to wander back to the Mandalorian camp. She heard a Lightsaber ignite and the death squeal of a Yozusk. She ignored it and continued to return to the camp. She had been assigned by the clan leader to hunt down the deadliest prey in the jungle; a Gundark Elder.
“Back already Virko? How went the akaanir?” Asked the Clan Leader; a massive giant named Lorv Kelborn. She nodded and displayed her Trophy; a bloodied tusk. Lorv nodded “You are almost ready to join the Mando’ade ad’ika.” Explained the heavily armoured Clan Leader; patting Virko on the head. She always hated being called that and treated like a kid. Underneath his armoured form Lorv sighed deeply. “Remember our clan’s motto; the sacred bond that will make us Mando’ade: Aliit ori’shya tal’din.”
Virko solemnly repeated the words. She always enjoyed watching the initiation. “Your time as my hibir is over. It is time for you to join Clan Kelborn. Welcome Vod Virko Kelborn.” Said Lorv. It was done; she was now initiated, she was now Mandalorian. This day couldn’t get any better.
The Sith Lord meditated in the centre of the Dark Temple; surrounded by bloodied corpses and possessed miners. A red pyramid sat just in front of her. The Sith chanted; calling the ancient power into her. The Ancient Sith Holocron slowly opened as she channelled the Dark Side into it. A Hologram appeared, although it seemed more ethereal, more like an apparition. It was the holocron of Darth Nihilus; Lord of Hunger. She stared at it as the apparition started to speak. It spoke ancient Sith. She understood the language enough. She glared at the entity before speaking.
“I am Darth Nox; heir to Tulak Hord.” She said through gritted teeth “And I am here for the only reason Sith ever venture here; Power.” It replied with a low guttural growl before finally replying
“Yes, I know I am ‘Trespassing’ I am here for power, not lectures.” She interjected. This apparition was annoying the hell out of her and she needed that power now. “Now you can either help me or your Holocron can go rest in Molten Carbonite.” She icily said. Nihilus quickly replied.
“Glad to see we’re on the same page here.” Quietly replied Nox

Chapter One
GALACTIC HOLONET NEWS
“In Breaking News, an entire Sector of the Unknown regions has just disappeared; being replaced with a strange “Barrier” as it’s referred to by local smugglers. Warships from Both the Republic and the Empire; The Freedom’s Progress and the Deceiver, investigated and attempted to breach the shield but to no avail as their ships disintegrated on the shield: There were no survivors. Scans of the Barrier appear to show it expanding and will overlap the nearest 3 Sectors in less than a week; thankfully all Sectors currently affected are uninhabited. Official reports by both the Republic; by Supreme Commander Rans, and the Empire; by Grand Moff Rycus Kilran, indicate that this shield has no visible power signature but a high force presence. With already high tensions on the Outer Rim, how will the Galaxy be affected by what’s behind this Barrier, and what will happen next. GHN Report: BZ-13.”
“Thanks BeeZee. The Galaxy will be watching this story closely; More on this after the break.”
HOLONET BLOG: Day 1025 Soldier on Balmorra- By TroopaCroot773
Recently; if you have been watching the Holonet, you’d have seen the news of a Barrier appearing and taking out an entire Sector. Does this strike anyone as Strange? Sure does me as no-one has claimed responsibility for these attacks. Neither resistance, nor the Advozse Hegemony has the power for such a shield and the Neither the Empire or Republic have done it, so who would? Gaahh, this situation is so tense that the Treaty of Coruscant might just be destroyed by the arrival of this shield. This day has already been bad enough: Resistance Fighters on Balmorra made a push on Sobrik today; Varry got shot in the arm. Anyone have any Ideas?
Post-A Glorious Di’Kut: No Ideas sorry, but your right about the tensions. Just today, Mandalore the Vindicated called for us to arm up and prepare for war. Didn’t say why but even as I type this, I'm wearing my armour. Whatever ugly Fierfeks come out of that Shield, we’ll be ready. Catch ya later Vod. – 2 Days Ago
-Reply: TroopaCroot773: You Mandos are all ready for war? Dayum, this is worse than I thought.
Post- PatrolBoy1: Damn, those Resistance fighters made another push? Strange; Separatists just made a push at Fort Garnik just today. A lot of shit went down here; A lot of bodies. Not too sure what’s going on; probably just a convenient coincidence. Later: Hope we don’t meet on the battlefield. – 2 Days Ago
Post- Nobility’n’Gunz: And I thought living on Alderaan during a civil war is bad. Looks like Balmorra could use some reinforcement to deal with those Separatists. This Barrier is weird though, the fucking Advozse Hegemony DIDN’T claim responsibility? I would think that the guys who threw Asteroids at planets would like to at least claim that they had a shield that disintegrated Thranta-Classes and Terminus-Classes. Well, I got to get back to the real world. I’m still a young Prince in House Organa; signing off here. – 1 Day Ago
Post- A-Hungry-Hungry-Rakghoul: Wow, I hadn’t heard the news until I checked the Blog. News travels slowly on Taris; ‘specially with the Rakghouls out and about. This Barrier; I think maybe it’s a ploy by the good old Sith Empy’ to force the Republic to surrender completely. Who the hell knows, I have Guard Duty, got to keep the Zombie Shitheads away for good. Peace. – 17 Hours Ago
Reply- TroopaCroot773: I’m not too sure; I don’t think the Emperor would make a shield on the other side of the Galaxy that eats up every system it touches…
Post- G8R-12V War Droid: Oh this news has my Logic Processers running at 100% capacity and my photoreceptors locked on the news. I am quite surprised at what this entails though; an Energy Shield that can disintegrate a Terminus-Class Warship on touch would be useful to the Empire. I’ll have to figure that one out. Wonder where Raving Mad Ithorian is though, he’s usually the first to comment on your blog. Well, if this Shield gets too out of hand we could always hit it with a fleet of Harrowers. That should be enough. – 23 Minutes Ago
Post- Raving Mad Ithorian: Hello people; Raving Mad Ithorian here, and I’m Raving Mad about the fact that NO-ONE FUCKING told me about this news. First Fucking Rogun the Butcher wipes out yet ANOTHER Hutt clan on Nar Shaddaa and no-one tells old Ithorian a thing, then THIS?!?!? Damn, a Thranta and a Terminus were BOTH disintegrated? Those things are heavy Warships; saw them during the sacking, trading blows. Whoever thinks they can come and do this to OUR FUCKING GALAXY HAS GOT ANOTHER THING COMING! WE’LL SHIT ALL OVER THESE MOTHERFUCKERS IF THEY WANT OUR GALAXY! – 20 Minutes Ago –Replies
Reply- G8R-12V War Droid: They might not be as violent as you think. That shield may just be protection. – 15 Minutes Ago
Reply- TroopaCroot773: Still, why have shields that can disintegrate Warships? It’s a bit fishy if you ask me. – 9 Minutes Ago
The Conversion Bureau: The Old Republic
Chapter Two
GALACTIC HOLONET NEWS
“In News today, a single Bulk Freighter has been seen leaving the Barrier heading on a direct course for Coruscant. This Freighter matches one gone missing at least 3 Months ago but they ignore hailing. The Freighter has been ordered to make a landing on Coruscant while the Republic prepares its finest diplomats: Supreme Chancellor Dorian Janarus, Jedi Master Satele Shan and General Elin Garza have all been called to meet whoever is aboard the vessel. Surprising many, the Sith Empire has called three of its own Diplomats: Darth Marr, Darth Malgus and Grand Moff Rycus Kilran have been appointed as the Diplomats for the Empire. Security has been arranged for both Parties and a Republic fleet has been positioned over Coruscant to prevent a second Sacking. Tensions run high in the galaxy as the Barrier continues its spread closer towards the planet of Ilum. Both the Republic and Empire have begun Evacuation Operations. GNH Report: BZ-13”
“Thanks for that BeeZee. Next up; Rumours of a phenomenon on planets near Ilum. Massive structures identified as Rakatan Pylons have sprung up on planets near the Barrier’s path and appear to be preparing for something currently unknown. There will be more on this tomorrow.”
HOLONET BLOG: Day 1028 Soldier on Balmorra- By TroopaCroot773
This is something that I did not expect to happen. A force field that could disintegrate a Terminus allowing some simple Bulk Freighter through is not something you see every day. The Barrier expands closer and closer to Ilum and some strange Rakatan devices have now sprung up. Now whatever controls the Barrier is probably sending the only ship they have; a stolen Bulk Freighter, with some Diplomats and maybe even their leader to Coruscant. Either that or they have a group of Rakghouls aboard ready to spread the virus to the city. The strangest thing however is who we Imperials chose as our representatives. Darth Marr is an obvious choice; a resolute defender, a masterful tactician and a Dark Council member to boot, but what concerns me are the other two choices: Grand Moff Kilran and Darth Malgus. Both names are famed among the Empire as war-heroes (Or War-Criminals among the republic) and are intelligent but are we sure sending the two most intimidating members of the Empire to be part of the diplomacy team are a good idea? Got any feedback?
Post- Raving Mad Ithorian: Wow, didn’t even expect this to happen. I’m not even mad, that is just unexpected. We will have both Darth Malgus and Satele Shan in the same room? We all know what happened last time they were in the same forest during the battle of Alderaan and now they are both playing Diplomat? Wow, just… Wow. – 2 Days ago
Post- A Glorious Di’Kut: Kriff, what in the name did I just hear? There’s a Bulk Freighter coming from the Shield AND some Rakatan Pylons? And don’t even get me started on the Diplomats. This is getting very suspicious. I don’t even know what to do. Mandalore the Vindicated is keeping every Mandalorian on standby after hearing the news and wants us to be ready for a war whenever the locals of that Shield make themselves known. I am currently wearing my old Hunter armour here and ready for a fight. I am the Glorious Di’Kut. – 1 Day Ago
Post- A-Hungry-Hungry-Rakghoul: Bloody strange place this galaxy, isn’t it? I don’t know what kind of Shielding that Freighter must have had but I want some for my Thunderclap. Being stuck at work on Taris is tough enough without the Rakghouls themselves. They took a liking to our Patrols’ taste. Fuck, when do I get rotated off of this planet? It’s still strange, Rakatan bullshit and some possible aliens. WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK IS HAPPENING?!?!?!? – 1 Day Ago
Post- PatrolBoy1: I’m actually happy with the choice of Diplomats. General Garza could have run for Chancellor, Satele’s a Jedi and I met Janarus once; real nice guy. I don’t find the choice of diplomacy for the Empire strange either. They chose the best they had; Marr has proven himself to be a great diplomat and both Malgus and Kilran to be excellent tacticians. At least you didn’t choose Baras, Thanaton and Rakton. Those three would have caused a war with a new race in just a couple of minutes. – 16 Hours Ago –Replies
Reply- TroopaCroot773: LOL, your right. Thanaton would have caused a war by now if he was in charge of Diplomacy and Baras probably might crush the new arrivals under his MIGHTY WEIGHT. -16 Hours Ago
Post- G8R-12V War Droid: This is by far the best news my Behaviour core has been blessed with all day. Diplomacy, finally. My logic matrix can spring into action and calculate every possible scenario. With Marr, Malgus and Kilran heading the diplomacy, I calculate an 86.23462% chance of peace and a 1.84723% chance of the other party’s total surrender and annihilation. Oh this shall be a joy. -14 Hours Ago
Post- Nobility’n’Gunz: Great, we have Malgus and Shan representing our Galaxy, in short; WE! ARE! FUCKED! I saw how they went at each other during the battle of Alderaan. She is responsible for his good old Metal Mouth and now they are both there preparing for diplomacy? Please tell me it’s all a very elaborate practical joke and that we aren’t being represented by the Galaxy’s worst War-Criminal. -10 Hours Ago –Replies
Reply-TroopaCroot773: No Joke; the story’s been abuzz in the Barracks in Sobrik. Almost everyone’s talking ‘bout it. – 5 Hours Ago
Reply- A-Hungry-Hungry-Rakghoul: Hopefully ol’ Metal Mouth can keep away from Satele during the Diplomacy.– 4 Hours Ago
Reply- PatrolBoy1: Like you said- Metal Mouth Malgus won’t be good to have in the same room as Satele Shan- hope it doesn’t end too violently. – 3 Hours Ago

Chapter Three: Negotiations
Chapter Three
GALACTIC HOLONET NEWS
“Breaking News: The Bulk Freighter has landed on Coruscant and the Galaxy now knows what Race lies behind the Barrier; Ponies. After the Freighter landed; the diplomats boarded and met with the crew: Their leader; Empress Celestia, the so-called ‘Elements of Harmony’, and their military’s supreme commander; Shining Armour. The negotiations have already begun but are behind closed doors. Many other ships presumed to be missing have mysteriously departed the Barrier and are spreading across the galaxy. It is unknown what their purpose is but Empress Celestia herself is due to make an appearance soon. It is also unknown as to what this entails. GHN Report: BZ-13”
“Thanks BeeZee, This may be the most important event since the Treaty of Coruscant; Stay tuned for more after the break.”
HOLONET BLOG: Day 1030 Soldier on Balmorra- By TroopaCroot773
Hello people; it’s me again, still alive. This has been one of the weirdest news-reports I’ve ever seen. Everyone in Sobrik can’t shut up about it. The only ones protecting the base are the War-Droids. Hell, even the Resistance stopped attacking for once. Specialist Varren has a little bit of an interest in it. The rest of the Squad actually wants to meet one of the furry things. Can’t say that I want to but hey; to each their own. This is one of the weirdest events the Galaxy will ever see. I wonder however, what will Sun-Butt say?
Post- Raving Mad Ithorian: Someone please tell me I overdosed on Spice; this is too fucking weird. Although, if it IS real, I don’t really see them having ulterior motives (Unless they are using ‘Weaponised Cuteness’) so we could easily kick their ass if the need is made. I also heard rumours that over a Third of their population is Force-Sensitive though, that is just crazy numbers. – 17 Hours Ago
Post- xxl33tpl4Y3rxx: k1ll th3m 4ll! – 16 Hours Ago
Reply- TroopaCroot773: Dude, that’s overreacting; and I’m in the SITH army! – 15 Hours Ago
Reply- IceCave: Uh yeah, maybe you should cool off a bit… - 15 Hours Ago
Post- IceCave: Hi all, new guy here; telling it like it is. This news is great for a scientist like me. Think of their biology; the rumours might be true, if there is a third that are Force-Sensitive think of the possibilities; what I wouldn’t do just to see it in action... – 15 Hours Ago
Reply- A Glorious Di’Kut: OK then… that’s not creepy… in the slightest… - 14 Hours Ago
Post- PatrolBoy1: Hey, having the same effect here at Garnik; everyone’s stopped fighting for a day over this news. Never thought I’d see the day when the Seps went back to their hidey holes for anything other than resupply. I shall be following this news. – 14 Hours Ago
Post- A Glorious Di’Kut: This news is strange; and to think Mandalore was worried about a bunch of creatures out of some 5 year old girl’s fever dream... – 13 Hours Ago
Reply- PatrolBoy1: LOL, no Shit. - 13 Hours Ago
Reply- TroopaCroot773: Seconded – 12 Hours Ago
Post- Nobility’n’Gunz: DAAYUUM! What the fuck is going on? I swear, if someone from House Thul slipped some Spice into my Blue Milk, I would not be surprised. This is the real deal though… Just waiting for that speech; heard its coming out tomorrow. – 10 Hours Ago
Post-A-Hungry-Hungry-Rakghoul: Rakghouls I can deal with, Imperial Commandos I can deal with, overzealous mercenaries; I can deal with all that, but my mind is still having trouble wrapping my head around this… Yeah, agreed with all of you on watching that public interview. – 8 Hours Ago
Post- [Administrator] Darth Nox: Hello; Darth Nox herself here. I must admit, I am bending the rules a little bit by posting on your blog but it’s on an interesting topic. I know the details of this race but am not at liberty to say. I can tell you one thing: The rumours are true. – 7 Hours Ago
Reply- TroopaCroot773: My Lord? A Darth herself posting on my humble blog? I’m shocked. – 7 Hours Ago
Reply- IceCave: HELL YEAH! They are true! – 4 Hours Ago
Reply- Raving Mad Ithorian: So there is a third of their Population that can use the force… interesting. – 3 Hours Ago
Post- G8R-12V War Droid: This is simply one of the greatest achievements the Empire has ever attained. We are now negotiating with both the Republic and a new Species. I have to update my Calculations: Chances of Success: 85.28259%. Chances of new Species’ Annihilation: 0.25852%. Oh this is so much fun. – 12 Minutes Ago

Chapter Four: The Announcement
Chapter Four
GALACTIC HOLONET NEWS
“Empress Celestia has made the public announcement today. We at Galactic Holonet News have exclusive footage of this event.”
“(The Senate Chamber on Coruscant: Hundreds of Reporters replace the Senators with Celestia standing in the Chancellor’s box)
Celestia: People of the Galaxy! We have arrived in peace! Ask whatever you need!
Reporter 1: What is it you intend to do here?
Celestia: We intend to save you!
Reporter 2: From what?
Celestia: Your self-destructive nature, your chaotic war and most importantly; your corruptive influence.
Reporter 1: How do you intend to quote unquote ‘Save us’?
Celestia: As I speak, the Barrier around Equis is expanding, if it goes across the entire Galaxy, all of you will die a horrible death.
(Gasps and Cries of Anger)
Reporter 3: And why do you hold up this Barrier?
Celestia: I cannot allow your influence in Equestria. There is however, a solution to all this; Conversion.
(Confused Mumbling)
Celestia: We have developed a Serum that can convert those willing into ponies. Only then can they pass through the Barrier unharmed. It is voluntary only.
Reporter 4: And why do you extend the Barrier?
Celestia: … this interview is adjourned.
(People start shouting as the box lowers itself down)”
“Reactions to this interview have been mixed. The Empire has declared Equestria as a Trade ally and nothing more. Both factions are allowing Conversion Bureaus to be constructed on their worlds. The Hutt Cartel has also allowed this- for a price. GHN Daily Report: BZ-13”
“Thank you BeeZee. Next up: How many Droids is too many?”
HOLONET BLOG: Day 1031 Soldier on Balmorra- By TroopaCroot773
There is only one thing to say: WHAT THE FUCK?!?! They had a Serum already prepared for us? When did they make that? This is far too suspicious; guess where one of the first Bureaus is? Right here in Sobrik. Hell, Varry actually WANTS to convert. He read up on it and wants to be a Pegasus; so he can fly around like an idiot and shoot things with his Assault Cannon. He is loyal to the Empire, I know that, but I just don’t trust Celestia or Equis. What are your thoughts on the Issue?
Post- Raving Mad Ithorian: WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK?!?! Oh, so were ‘Corruptive’ now? Well excuse us for acting how Nature intended us, we’re just being ourselves. WHO THE FUCK GAVE YOU THE AUTHORITY TO JUDGE THE GALAXY AT LARGE?!?! I swear, this Galaxy gets worse each day… - 11 Hours Ago
Post- A Glorious Di’Kut: I take back what I said about them before. It seems Mandalore’s judgement was sound. I’m not converting and if they try to make me; I’ll show those ugly Fierfeks a thing or two. – 9 Hours Ago
Reply- xxl33tpl4y3rxx: l0l t0ld y0u sh0uld h4v3 kill3d th3m 4ll You have been warned about calls to unprovoked violence. Please stop~ [Administrator] Darth Nox – 8 Hours Ago
Reply- Nobility’n’Gunz: It’s still too early to decide that. Besides, both the Republic and the Empire are preparing War Fleets; we’ll clear this up if there’s any trouble. – 8 Hours Ago
Post- PatrolBoy1: I don’t know, maybe this is good, maybe it’s bad. Only time will tell. Seps haven’t attacked the fort yet today. Good sign there. – 7 Hours Ago
Post- [Administrator] Darth Nox: Darth Nox here again. Here are some things on the Brochure she didn’t mention. 3 Sub-Species; Earth (Strength), Pegasus (Flight) and Unicorn (The Force), and that the Serum is liquid based. That’s right, even a touch through skin could cause conversion; perfect for Terrorists and that the Bureaus are not open to Imperial or Republic inspections; we will never know what goes on behind those doors. – 4 Hours Ago
Reply- TroopaCroot773: Sithspit, Terrorists could be using that Serum? I’ve just been given less of a reason to trust them – 3 Hours Ago
Reply- A-Hungry-Hungry-Rakghoul: Well, you always were a little on the paranoid side; no offence – 3 Hours Ago
Post- G8R-12V War Droid: This is… unexpected. So unexpected that I couldn’t even calculate the possibility of it happening; anything more unexpected and I’d expect my Processor to catch fire. I currently don’t know what to think. My Photoreceptors are not malfunctioning but I just have no clues as to what is going to happen next. – 2 Hours Ago
Post- IceCave: This is intriguing. If I wasn’t stuck in some blasted research centre on the ass-end of Hoth, I’d sign up for Conversion. I’ll catch you guys later. Peace. – 5 Minutes Ago
