Lyric was married, but his wife (Vinyl Scratch) left because she killed her own father when he decided to try and ruin their wedding. During her time away, Lyric has made many new friends including the ever random, Pinkie Pie. Pinkie begins to have feelings for Lyric and Ash, Lyric's best friend, develops feelings for Pinkie. Vinyl comes back seven years later as DJ-PON3, and she and Lyric meet at the local club, renew their vows and begin living together. This begins to create disharmony between the ponies.
