Rarity was staring at Dead, this had been the first time in a while where the two were alone. While Dead was giving more of a confused look at Rarity, she was simply gazing into her eyes. "Sooo...." Dead stuttered, however Rarity didn't want to respond, in fear of breaking the moment. The whole world seemed to slow down for Rarity as she just sat down staring at Dead, who had changed for being confused to concerned. "Ummmm Rarity? Is everything alright?" Once again Rarity didn't respond, she remained fixated on Dead's gray eyes as she watched them dart around nervously, however once those eyes locked with Rarity's they stopped darting around.

Dead chuckled nervously as she started at Rarity, once again she tried to provoke a conversation but it went unanswered. "So Rarity, got anything on your mind?" Rarity wanted to respond by saying you but she thought it might break the mood. "Well ummm..." Dead chuckled again however she was a lot more nervous. "Rarity? Rarity..." Dead's voice faded out.

"What was that darling?" Rarity asked as she looked back up at Dead.

"I said, I love you Rarity." Dead said happily.

"Excuse me?" Rarity asked as she was taken back by Dead's sudden outburst.

"I said I love you Rarity! I want to spend every moment of everyday with you!" Dead sang out.

Something about this felt very unreal to Rarity, yet she didn't want it to end. "Dead are you sure of this?"

"Of course I am! Ever since you first knocked on my door I have been sure!" Dead announced to everpony in the room, that being only her and Rarity. Dead then jumped off the sofa and did a small dance before stopping. "Why else would I have come out of the forest? Why else would I have let Luna take me away? So that you can make me better Rarity. If I could only show you how much I love you... But alas, nothing short of overthrowing Princess Celestia will be big enough." Dead sighed as she sat back down.

"But you didn't know what love was a two weeks ago. How could you have loved me before?" Rarity asked Dead, in truth Rarity just wanted to hug and kiss Dead. But that feeling of unsure that made feel funny was still prominent, Rarity needed to know the why before she could get involved.

"A feeling, in my chest. The moment I saw you! It was there I never knew what it was and I had never felt it before! But it was there. And when I saw you choking in my dream, I couldn't let that happen..." Dead looked sadly at the floor. "I never want nothing bad to happen to you, and if that mean taking over Equestria then so be it!" Dead stood up on the sofa and waved her hoof in the air. "But lets hope it doesn't have to come to that."

Rarity was officially sure that this was genuine love and not some poor prank that Rainbow had asked Dead to do. "Alright then Dead, I just have one last question..."

"You want a kiss, don't you?"

"Yes. If you don't mind."

"Of course not, I would be more then happy to oblige, however I need you to do one thing for me first."

"And what would that be?"

Just as the couple were about to lock lips  Dead muttered two words that Rarity would regret hearing.

"Wake. Up."

That was a cruel joke Rarity's mind played on her, she was so sure it was real but then again, there was that feeling. The feeling that Rarity could now identify as being in a dream. Of course she would never tell Dead that she dreamed of her confessing her love. However that none of this could explain the puzzled look Dead had on her face when Rarity opened her eyes.

"Hey Rarity, you alright?" A puzzled looking Dead asked as she looked over Rarity, who had apparently fallen on the floor. "You're luckly I caught you. That would have been a nasty bump had I not grabbed you."

"What happened?" Rarity asked as she stumbled back up. "Did I fall asleep?"

"Very much so, one moment you were giving me funny looks and then the next you were passed out on the sofa. And well, you kinda scared me." Dead said as she once again started to shuffle around the room.

"How so Dead? I am sorry if it was too much." Rarity apologized.

"Well it wasn't anything too bad, I mean if any other pony had seen it they would have thought it was something else. But I guess it may have just been me and my reactions." Dead spoke with a concerned tone, she walked around the room a bit and then sat back down on the sofa. Her eyes kept darting around the room and glancing outside as if she was waiting for something to happen.

Rarity was used to Dead taking her time when she was nervous however this time she was taking a bit too long, while Rarity would never order one of her friends to 'spill the beans' she couldn't help but try and speed thing up a bit so that they would not be stuck all day. "Dead, its alright you can trust me. I won't tell a single pony unless you want me to." Rarity reassured Dead as she sat next to her. "But you have to tell me what it is."

"Well Rarity, while you were asleep you kinda said my name." Dead slowly said. "I didn't think much at first but then you said it again, and again. You were asleep for an hour and you seemed to say it once every five minuets. But right before you woke up, you said it differently."

"Oh?" Rarity started to form a blush. "How was it different?"

"You kind of moaned it... And then pushed your head forward which then caused you to loose balance and fall. I'm not really certain what it all meant..." Dead said as she turned her attention to a very interesting patch on the sofa.

"Oh... Don't worry about Dead. I'm sure whatever it was will pass. Eventually, as do most thing around here." Rarity sighed. Just as the silence started to get scary a loud pounding was heard at the door which caused both mares to jump.
