Twilight woke up, not only was it the early hours of the morning but, she was asleep outside. To make matters worse Twilight had a killer headache. "Urgh." Was all she could string together as she shakily stood up. Twilight glanced around and noticed a old music box with a large amount of ponies bowing around, and a equally large group building a wooden shrine to it. "Dead! What happened?" Twilight shouted. after a brief moment of silence she felt a hoof placed on her back.

"Hey Twilight, you really kicked that party up to an twelve, after Pinkie kicked up to a eleven!" Dead sounded like she was also nursing a hangover. "I still can't believe you summoned a demon."

"I summoned a demon? That sounds like something you would do Dead." Twilight said as she tried to hide a sheepish grin.

"Nope, I'm undead. You summoned a party demon after you got drunk on spiked punch. I don't know who spiked it but they might as well made us drink fire. That stuff burned." Dead quickly cast a spell and Twilight's headache was gone.

"Thanks Dead, do you remember what happened? And why are ponies here worshiping that music box?" Twilight asked with a confused and concerned tone.

"Alright Twilight, but get some popcorn. This one is going to be a while."

The previous evening...

"Alright Dead, this in Pinkie Pie. She really, really, really wanted to meet you." Rarity said nervously. Twilight and Rarity had tried to avoid Pinkie and Dead meeting, but Dead had gone out looking, and found her.

"Hey Pinkie. I'm Dead! Pleased to meet you." Dead said in a cheery voice with a beaming smile. "But please if you have anything else you want to call me, feel free to."

"Hi Dead! Its wonderful to meet you! I'm Pinkie Pie but my friends just call me Pinkie!" Pinkie said ecstatically as she bounced around Rarity's house. "But you already knew my name... That must mean... We were friends and I never even knew it! Wow your good!"

"Yeah, just don't ask me to do a magic trick. My magical abilities are fairly limited as it stands." Dead said without thinking, a few moments after she had said she became aware of how silly she sounded. It was as if she had been forced to say something that could possibly be related to parties

"That's fine Dead, but why would you be doing magic tricks?" Dead could swear that some sort of mind control was forcing her to think about party related activities.

"Whats your angle Pinkie? Your minds tricks won't work on me!" Dead said playfully as she received looks of concern and confusion.

"What mind tricks? I don't see any mind trick. Do YOU see any mind tricks?" No Pinkie I don... Wait...

"Pinkie who are you talking to?" No reply. "Pinkie? Hello? Anypony in there?" Twilight waved her hoof in front of Pinkie's face and received no response. "Alright Pinkie is out. Now what?"

"I say we have a rave about it." Dead said expectantly. "Wait... I didn't mean that! Its the mind tricks! THE MIND TRICKS!"

An hour later...

The so-called 'rave' took place outside of Rarity's. Due to a lack of music Dead had quickly ran back to her house to retrieve what she called the 'music box.' The fact that she referred to it like that gave Twilight concern however she was still trying to figure out why Dead wanted a rave in the first place. "Rarity, I need you to help me keep Dead under control when it starts. The last thing we need is a skeleton filled party."

"Of course Twilight! If it gets too much for her -or- me for that matter I will bring her to bed." Rarity said calmly before realizing what could have been implied by her last words. "Her bed of course! The sofa!" Twilight sighed.

"Rarity, tonight is going to be a long night."

"And so I came back with magical music box that plays whatever music the majority wants to listen to. I set it up and the party started. Ponies brought snack foods and punch. I think somepony spiked the punch and made it really alcoholic! You got plastered and thought it would be a good idea to summon a party demon! And you did." Dead said happily as the look of terror in Twilight's face said it all.

"Why would I do that?" Twilight asked sounding very, very concerned.

"You were drunk! Like super drunk! Like mega super drunk! Wow I am sound like Pinkie. You didn't warn me she had mind tricks and/or control." Dead said with a mock anger at the end.

"I didn't! And she doesn't!" Twilight partially yelled. "Oh my head..." Twilight's headache came back. "I must have really drunk a lot, I normally have a high alcohol tolerance." Twilight groaned and place her off on her forehead.

"You did. I mean you thought summoning a demon would make it better. But know a party demon is just a demon that uses parties to subjugate ponies. Not a demon that makes ponies party as you thought."

"What did it do?" Twilight asked.

"I don't know. The second you summoned it Rarity dragged me back into her house and I for some reason I drunk some of the punch I had with me. I blacked out and woke up in Rarity's bed. For some reason."

"Oh..." Was all Twilight could muster.

The previous night...

"Come on Dead, Twilight has gone off the deep end. Its time to get you to bed." Rarity said as she grabbed a slightly tipsy Dead holding a small glass full on punch. "Look at you! We need to get you to the spa ASAP!"

"Naw ish fine Rarishe. I jus need shome sheep." Rarity was leading Dead back to her house as she chugged the remainder of the punch she had. "Woah! Thash goo punch!"

"Hush now, you sound unladylike when you are completely wasted." Rarity said sounding slightly frustrated.

"Buh Rarishe! Yew luk lovehly!" Dead slurred.

"Hush, that's the punch talking." Rarity said as she opened the door to carousel boutique. Dead tumbled in and feel on the sofa but quickly rolled off it due to its small size. "Oh Dead, you are a funny drunk." Rarity let out a happy sigh. "I guess we are going to have to share beds if you want to get to sleep without getting a concussion."

"Air bedsh? Buh tha meansh..." Dead was putting a two and two together that didn't exist as she walked up the stairs to Rarity's room.

"No it doesn't! Now get in bed before I change my mind!" Rarity snapped at Dead who let out a small whimper as she climbed into bed.

After a few minuets of quiet in the room Dead whispered in the silence. "Rarish... Yew arh beutooful..."

"Go to bed Dead. I need sleep just like you." Rarity said in a flat tone followed by a huge sigh.
