Twilight, Rarity, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy were heading towards the clearing where Dead was supposed to be resting. "So Fluttershy what was she doing?" Rarity asked, she had been constantly asking about the state Dead had been in since they entered the forest. They had been walking for a good few minuets.

"She was just reading books... I'm sorry if I had known that you were looking..." Fluttershy said as she lead the group onward.

"Its no worry, I just hope she is alright. The forest can be full of all sorts of horrors." Rarity said to comfort Fluttershy. Soon they were at the entrance to the clearing.

Dead was half asleep. A small pile of books on the ground had left her both enlightened and emotionally scared. A small breeze was blowing in the clearing and with it some smells. Familiar smells and mainly she could smell perfume. A shuffling sound could be heard. "Who, is there?" Dead called out, she already knew who it was but just wanted to sound surprised.

"Its just us Dead, and Fluttershy." Twilight call out from behind the treeline. "Oh and Rainbow Dash."

"Oh, Alright. Yeah come on in. Not like I own this clearing anyway." Dead said as she swung to and fro on her hammock. "So what kept you then?" Dead said mockingly as the group of four emerged from the treeline.

"Just bumped into a few things. Nothing overly big." Twilight said eyeing up the pile of books. "So I see you read those books I gave you."

"Both eye opening and traumatizing. But still, thanks." Dead was a lot calmer then she normally was, to the point it was scaring her friends.

"Dead? Is everything alright?" Rarity asked sounding concerned.

"Its alright Rarity, I'm just think about things." Dead said with little emotion in her voice, her normal peppy attitude had faded and was replaced with the attitude that she had when Twilight and Rarity first met her.

"You don't seem to happy, Dead you can trust us. Just tell us what is wrong." Rarity said, half pleading.

"I'm just thinking, that maybe this isn't such a good idea. That maybe I should just go back to my house." Dead sighed as she turned away from the group. "I'm just not cut out for this. The emotions, the involvement. I've just got a bit excited with meeting you all."

"Dead, it was just a stupid mistake, I honestly didn't know you had no idea. I'm sorry if I was too forward." Rainbow Dash apologized and tilted her head down.

"Its not that. I just don't know how long I will last before I go off the deep end." Dead said even more flatly.

"Can't we just give it a second chance? Somepony is coming down from Canterlot, you might want to meet her before you leave." Twilight said with a slight tinge of hope in her voice,

"Alright, I'l try again. But if it doesn't work out you know where to find me." Dead said as she jumped out of the hammock and headed towards Ponyville.

Just as Twilight went to follower a hood stopped her in her tracks, she looked up and saw Rainbow Dash stopping her from proceeding. "Twi, You have to tell us all what is going on with her. I have seen ponies that live alone, heck I have seen a few that don't recognize ponies because they haven't seen one in so long. Yet when they come back they always fit in. Why does she not? No more delays, please just tell me."

"Do you really, really want to know about her Rainbow?" Twilight asked sternly.

"Yes. I just want to know what is up with her." Rainbow said solemnly.

"Alright Rainbow, also Fluttershy you can listen if you want to. Dead is, a necromancer."

"A what-o-mancer?" Rainbow asked sounding confused.

"She can raise the dead and use them as minions. A lot of ponies would have saw it bad thing and would drive her out if they knew it. However on the upside, a lot of ponies don't know about it anymore. Only the Princesses do from what I have heard." Twilight explained.

"That. Sounds. Awesome! So does she like have a ton of zombies working for her and doing chores?" Rainbow asked ecstatically.

"Not so much zombies, but they are skeletons. She says zombies cause too much of a mess when they are used." Twilight said as she laughed a bit. "But in all seriousness she did kill an entire village of griffons because they killed her family and friends. And she also tried to take over Equestria several times. And you were about to try and sleep with her."

"Oh-Kay Twi. I can see why you stopped me. But still!" Rainbow aloud Twilight to push past her. "Anyway lets go catch up with her!"

Dead was with Rarity in her house. Rarity had her sewing glasses on and various tape measures that would be used in measuring a pony. "So would you rather me measure you with magic or by hoof?" Rarity asked Dead.

"It doesn't really matter too much to me Rarity, what ever one you would rather do." Dead said, her voice had become a little peppy however she still sounded slightly depressed.

"Alright then, hoof it is. So Dead, did Twilight tell you who was visiting." Rarity asked as she wrapped a tape measure around her. Making a small note of the length.

"No she hasn't, you want to give me a hint?" Rarity now went from each leg measuring how long each leg was before moving onto the next. "Do you have to measure each one?"

"If you want it done properly I do. But I can help you out with guessing." Rarity said mockingly. "She is coming all the way down from Canterlot."

"Really? Is she important?" Dead asked with growing enthusiasm. "Oh I need to know!"

"Yes, she is very important!" Rarity said happily.

"Is it one of Princesses?" Dead quizzed.

"Maybe..." Rarity teased.

"Is it... Princess... Luna?" Dead asked slowly, building up to the last word.

"Yes!" Rarity shrieked.

"Wow, I didn't see that coming. I see why you want to hurry with the dress. Well if she sees me I will try my best not to get you implemented." Dead said jokingly. "Thanks Rarity you have really gotten me out of this slump."

"Oh but of course Dead, that's what friends are for. To help pick you up while you are down. Now lets see to making you this dress." Rarity said as she pull out a variety of cloths and materials formally used in dress making.
