Colgate's Practice

Finishing the Job

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

It was one in the morning on Sunday and Colgate had taken care of most of her problems, but two remained. While one would be relatively easy to wipe out, the other would prove to put up more of a fight. She stood before her remaining captives soaked in the blood of her earlier victims. She had a sadistic smile on her face as she asked her captives, "So you two, did you like the show that I have put on tonight?"

Bon Bon began to cry. She asked, "Colgate, you have always been so friendly. How could you suddenly turn so mean and want to punish everypony for cavities?"

Rather than being angry like she normally would be, she remained quite calm. She replied, "You see Bon Bon, cavities and bad oral hygiene in general are a major threat to Equestria. I know I can't cleanse the whole country of them but I do know I can eradicate them from Ponyville by taking those who teach bad habits out."

Lyra sneered, "Oh yes, you think it is your job to force your will upon this community. Just you wait, even if you do manage to get away with this at first, eventually all the deaths you are responsible for will be tied to you! Luna will likely execute you for killing Celestia."

Colgate smacked Lyra for daring to say such a thing. She stared down her sister and replied, "Oh you don't know me very well little sister. I have planned all this out perfectly. Once you and your marefriend are out of the picture, I'll finish this off and start from scratch."

Bon Bon had a feeling as to what Colgate was going to do. She asked, "Colgate, are you going to blow up your practice to destroy the evidence?"

Colgate smiled, patted Bon Bon on the head and replied, "Wow Bon Bon, you're smarter than you look."

Lyra interrupted, "Well you won't get away with it because all these spiked chairs will be discovered as will all our remains."

Colgate laughed, "Oh I doubt that. I know what I'm doing."

Colgate decided that she wanted this to be a bit more fun. While it would be easier for her to take them out with them strapped in their chairs, she decided to let them out of their chairs. When she was freeing them from their spiked prisons Lyra asked, "Wait a minute, are you letting us go? I thought you wanted to kill us."

Colgate laughed, "I will let you two go under one condition. As you can clearly see, Bon Bon is unable to walk on her own. If you can get her and carry her out of this building completely, I will allow you two to survive. I would advise you take Bon Bon to the hospital though, she is in really bad shape."

Bon Bon's eyes lit up and she asked, "Really?"

Colgate smiled, "Yeah, really!"

While this sounded easy enough to Bon Bon, Lyra knew it would be challenging. She was weakened a bit by not being able to eat much, that along with the fact that she could not easily levitate heavier things such as ponies like Colgate can. Bon Bon was unable to move any with her dislocated front leg and her infected back ones, so she was just sitting up against her chair. The weakened Lyra was laying on the floor getting up when she saw Colgate holding her chainsaw pointing it at Bon Bon. This enraged Lyra.

Lyra shouted, "You said you were going to let us go if I can get her out of here!"

Colgate smacked her sister and sneered, "I will. I'm just doing this to provide you with some ambition. It seems as though you are moving along quite slowly."

This brought out the fire in Lyra that was so important at this time. She got up on all fours, used all the energy she could to levitate Bon Bon and began to head towards the door. Colgate followed them pointing her saw at them the whole way. When Lyra got Bon Bon to the stairs she realized that this would be next to impossible. She glared at her sister and asked, "How am I supposed to get her up these stairs? You know my magic isn't as strong as yours!"

Colgate laughed, "That's your problem sis, not mine! Now chop, chop! I don't have all night."

Lyra's horn was glowing brightly and she had a grimace on her face as she was slowly but surely levitating Bon Bon up the stairs. She knew that this would be the hardest part yet the rewards would be well worth it. After thirty minutes she finally was able to get Bon Bon up the stairs. Lyra's horn began to glow to open the door but to her dismay, she couldn't get it to budge. Lyra shouted, "Colgate, how am I supposed to get us out of here if I can't open the door?"

Colgate laughed, "Oh silly sister. There is one thing you never took into account. The lock on that door can only be activated or deactivated by me!"

Lyra screamed, "But you said if I could get her out of here, that you would let us go. Now that is impossible."

Colgate, in a calm and collected voice replied, "I did say that but it looks like you'll never make it out. I'll go over in the corner while you say your final farewells to your little marefriend. I doubt she will last much longer."

Lyra scowled at Colgate and realized there was only one thing she could do. She knew that she probably wouldn't be able to blow the door off but she knew it was worth trying. Her horn began to glow so brightly it made the room as bright as if it were being illuminated by the noonday sun. She was putting so much power into this that even she began to glow herself, she fired a powerful bolt of energy at the door but instead of blasting the door open, it threw her and Bon Bon back into the main part of the hospital. Lyra landed at Colgate's feet. Colgate was laughing, "Oh Lyra, so close!" Colgate looked over to see that Bon Bon's back legs were broken when she was slammed into the wall. While Bon Bon was screaming in agony Colgate's laughter was easily drowning it out.

Lyra stood up and smacked her sister. She shouted, "You are pure evil Colgate, pure evil!"

Colgate was holding her saw, aiming it at Bon Bon when Lyra had enough. She charged at Colgate and ripped the saw from her grasp. Yet while she did this she turned the saw on and rather than getting a good hold of it, it went flying up in the air and landed on Bon Bon, leaving a deep cut on her abdomen. Lyra rushed over to her, turned the saw off and began to cry. She looked at her friend, who was bleeding badly at this point and cried, "I'm so sorry Bon Bon. I didn't mean for it to turn out like this. I was just so mad at her."

Using all her remaining strength, Bon Bon pulled Lyra close to her with her one good leg and said, "Lyra, there is something I have to admit to you. We have been great friends for years but it is just now that I realize my feelings for you are far more. I love you Lyra Heartstrings, I truly love you."

Lyra began to cry, "Really? I love you too Bon Bon. I was always so scared to tell you my true feelings. I've loved you ever since seventh grade."

The two embraced and began to kiss. This would be their one and only kiss though, as once Lyra broke the kiss her beloved Bon Bon let out one last gasp before she died. Lyra began sobbing uncontrollably as she lay next to Bon Bon's remains. Colgate had a huge smile as she believed that the death of Bon Bon would crush her sister's desire to live, but it didn't, it did the exact opposite. At that moment Lyra wanted nothing more than to kill her sister, even if she could never get out.

Colgate was laughing, "You know sis, Bon Bon's death was your fault. Did you like killing your marefriend?"

Lyra got up and charged at her sister. She knocked her backwards, pounced on top of her and began punching her. She was shouting, "You bitch, you dirty bitch! I may not be able to make it out of here but I'm going to make sure you don't either!"

Colgate kicked her off of her and shouted, "Alright you little wretch, bring it! Your magic is no match against mine! I OWN you!"

Lyra shouted, "You want a fight, fine! But we're fighting the way earth ponies do!"

Colgate shouted, "Fine, bring it!"

For a while early on, despite being weakened by malnutrition and injuries, Lyra seemed to be getting the best of her sister. Colgate was getting thrown around, kicked and easily overpowered by her younger sister. Lyra even threw Colgate in to one of her spiked chairs. Before Lyra could get her locked in it though Colgate got out and kicked her sister harder than she had ever kicked anything before. Lyra went flying into the wall with so much force it stunned her temporarily. This did not drain any of the fight from her though, she charged at Colgate and both of them continued to level hit after hit on one another.

Finally around four in the morning Colgate knew she needed to finish this once and for all. She kicked Lyra up against the wall, got in her face and shouted, "Alright sis, we've fought like earth ponies for long enough. We're fighting MY WAY now!"

Before Lyra could do anything Colgate rammed her horn into her chest and let forth a powerful bolt of energy. While the backfire from this energy threw Colgate into the opposite wall, it caused Lyra to be blown to bits. Despite being weakened by being thrown the way she was, she smiled and said to herself, "Mission accomplished. Now to destroy the evidence and I'm home free!"

Colgate laid there for about an hour before she finally had the strength to get up and hose herself off. Once she was nice and clean she headed for the exit. Before leaving though, she unplugged her freezer as it would no longer be needed. As she left her basement hospital one last time, she slammed the door shut and headed home. When she got home she collapsed onto her bed and slept for a good part of the day.
