Colgate's Practice
Three New Acquisitions

After Colgate fed her patients late that night she began to head home. She suddenly realized that the tooth Moondancer swallowed would wind up tearing her insides up and kill her. She said to herself, "Damn it, how could I be so dumb as to not have a plan on how to handle the bodies?"
She was walking past the butcher shop and got an idea. She realized that if she could steal the meat grinder from there she could simply reduce her victims into piles of meat. She decided to go back to her office and wait until midnight, when everypony would be asleep. Finally midnight arrived and there were no lights on in town, so she headed out to acquire the equipment needed. She was sneaking around and when she got to the butcher shop, she unlocked the door and headed in. She headed to the back and saw something she did not expect to see as she had discovered that the local butcher had his own dark side. She saw a meat grinder that was much larger than the others. It was so large that cows could be ran through it alive. She became giddy with excitement and realized that she had to have that meat grinder.
"JACKPOT!" Colgate said to herself quietly. She knew that getting it back to her practice would be tough, especially because her horn gives off a great amount of light when she levitates things. After she got the grinder out of the butcher shop she quickly locked the door back and began the toughest part of her journey. She was levitating it to her practice and was so close, when suddenly a light came on in the top floor of Sugarcube Corner.
Pinkie was looking out and saw it was Colgate. She shouted "Hi Colgate! Whatchya doin'?"
Colgate knew that this would be a major problem so she decided to take care of it. She levitated Pinkie down to the ground. Pinkie was yelling, "Help, help!"
Before anypony else heard her and woke up Colgate shoved her hoof in the pink pony's mouth. She growled, "Shut up Pinkie, you're coming with me."
Pinkie was terrified by Colgate's unusual demeanor. Colgate led her to her practice as she was levitating the meat grinder. She finally got the two inside and took them down to her hospital. She set her meat grinder over in the corner as Pinkie stood at the base of the steps still terrified. Colgate then headed over to her and stared straight into her soul. She sternly asked, "So Pinkie, what are your plans for tomorrow?"
Pinkie replied, "We-well I'll have to tell my friends about how I helped you get this meat grinder."
Colgate knocked her to the ground over this statement. She hit Pinkie so hard that she was a bit woozy and unaware of her surroundings. Colgate picked her up and put her in the chair next to Moondancer where she got her secured to where she could not escape. Pinkie cried out in pain as the spikes plowed into her hide. She cried, "Colgate, what did I do to deserve this? I've never done anything to you."
Colgate got up in her face and replied, "No but you were going to and I simply can not allow that to happen."
Pinkie realized that the one thing she does the best could drive Colgate to let her go, so she started talking a lot. She started rambling on about anything and everything. Very quickly Colgate was getting sick of it. She headed to the main basement, grabbed some gauze, took it back down and stuffed it in Pinkie's mouth. "Mphff, Mphfff" said Pinkie as she could not speak much with the gauze in her mouth.
Colgate glared at her and said, "Give it a rest."
Colgate headed upstairs and slammed the door behind her. It was one in the morning when she finally got home. She was tired yet relieved. She laid down to sleep realizing that she was able to get everything she needed to take care of done as Lyra would be arriving home that evening and despite having nothing to worry about, that evening would come all too soon for Colgate.
When Colgate woke up Sunday morning a thought burst into her mind. She thought of another way to punish her unruly patients. She thought to herself, "Hmmm......perhaps if I have something to cut them with it will shut them up." She then remembered how tasty she thought Bon Bon and Moondancer's blood was and knew what she needed to do, so after breakfast she headed to the local hardware store.
When she walked in the clerk said, "Good morning Colgate! What brings you in today?"
Colgate replied, "Oh I just need to get a high quality chainsaw for some renovations I need to do in my office."
The clerk smiled and took her back to where the chainsaws were located. There were several back there but one drew her attention, the Everfree 500. She pointed her hoof at that one and said, "That is the one I would like."
The clerk looked stunned that she would want such an expensive chainsaw. He asked, "Colgate, do you really need that heavy duty of a chainsaw just to do renovations? It is twice as expensive as the others."
Colgate frowned and replied, "You're as bad as the clerk was yesterday at the grocery store. You shouldn't be questioning what your customers wish to purchase."
The clerk apologized and Colgate bought the chainsaw. She took it over to her practice and took it down to her hospital. She placed it over by her new meat grinder and one of her patients asked, "Colgate, is that you?"
Colgate ignored her patient entirely and headed back upstairs as she knew that her sister would be getting home soon and that nothing could appear to be out of the ordinary. Late afternoon arrived and Colgate was waiting at the train station when Lyra's train pulled into the station. Lyra rushed off the train and rushed into her sister's hooves. She had tears in her eyes and said, "Colgate, I'm so glad to be home."
Colgate could tell that her sister was quite distraught. She asked, "Lyra, what happened? Why are you crying?"
Lyra replied, "My friends dumped me because they believe I had my job handed to me."
Colgate asked, "Why? Because I hired you on the spot?"
Lyra continued to sob, "Yes. A couple of them still don't have jobs and they are jealous of me."
Colgate stroked her hoof through Lyra's mane and said, "Come on Lyra, let's go get a bite to eat. I know exactly what will ease the pain."
Colgate decided to be more relaxed that evening. She took Lyra to the cafe and let her get ice cream and a milkshake, as that has always been the one thing to calm her down in moments of distress. Lyra looked at her sister and said, "Thank you big sister. You're too good to me."
Colgate smiled and replied, "Don't mention it Lyra. You enjoy your snack and get some rest tonight. We have a couple of early appointments tomorrow and I need you to be at your best."
Lyra and Colgate headed home and after an evening of playing their favorite games and leisurely chit chat, the two went to bed. They had a full schedule the following day so they had to be at their best. While Lyra fell into a deep sleep Colgate laid there remembering how Rarity's teeth were at the cafe the previous week. She began to snicker realizing that Rarity, who she views as a snobby pony, would eventually be reduced to a bloody, whiny mess.
