Manehatten Memorial Hospital: Room 42A, Mental Rehabilitation Wing

Two ECIB agents walked up to the receptionist's desk and rang the bell, a very pretty mare, dirty blonde with a ponytail and wearing a pink nurse uniform, walked up to the desk and fixed her apron, giving a smile to the two agents. She spoke in a gently, warm voice.

"May I help you?" The agents flipped open their badges and showed them to her. She gasped and her smile faded away into a terrified look. She quickly pointed towards room 42A. The agents nodded and opened the door to see a mare in a wheelchair. Her head was bandaged, which covered most of her brown mane, and she wore a green hospital gown that matched the curtains. Her yellowish-white fur was stained with dirt and what looked like blood.

She stared out the window. The agents thought of her as a vegetable. She barely blinked. They couldn't even see if she was breathing. One of the agents walked up to her and looked down at her. The mare exchanged his glance, emotionless in her eyes. One of the agents took off her shades and kneeled next to the mare.

"Did you see it?" she asked in a pathetic attempt at a calming voice. The mare cringed and gripped the chair arm rests and didn't respond. No head movement. No yes or no. Nothing. The agent tried again. "What did you see?" No better results than the previous question. She must have been asked this a million times before. She was like a vault, but nopony had the Celestia-damned key. However, an idea popped in the other agent's head. He walked up to her and whispered into the mare's ear,

"She would want you to tell us." The mare glared at him with killer instincts in her eyes. She wanted to choke him. She wanted to kill him, but she knew it was useless to try. However, she knew he was right. She pulled out a picture of her and another mare smiling together, and kissed it. It was five minutes from 8 PM, and the sun was still out.
