History of Midnight Slash

Just like before Twilight blacked out when she walked through the portal. However unlike before she didn't come to in front of Canterlot High. When she opened her eyes she was in front of a white two story house in what appeared to be the suburbs of the city. Also unlike before she still had her wings and horn. "Why do I still have my wings and horn" she asked Midnight.

"because unlike the mirror in the crystal empire my portals do not restrict the use of magic in this universe or any others I visit" he explained. He stepped up to the front door and opened it he gestured for Twilight to go in. She stepped forward hesitantly she barely knew him should she really go into his house alone? Finally she decided if he wanted to hurt her he could have earlier she walked inside. The interior was kind of drab barely any decorations and plain white walls. She looked in a room off to the right it had a workbench with blueprints and partially put together projects. Many appeared to be types of weapons and what appeared to be another partial set of Midnight's armor.

"I thought you said your armor cant be duplicated" she said. She turned around and looked accusingly at him.

"It can be but it takes too much time to make the armor properly for it to mass produce it" he explained. " So instead I make the armor and matching weapon for those I find worthy of wielding such a power" he said. " However I have a gift for you Twilight" he said. He walked down the hall to a set of double doors and opened them. They led into a living room which had been converted into a training room/armory/gym. Twilight noticed there was another person in the room.

" Who is that" she asked meekly. She noticed the second person in the room wasn't wearing a shirt and was lifting weights. He appeared to have metal wings folded against his back. He didn't seem to notice they had entered the room. along with the metal wings Twilight realized the other person seemed to be very fit having no trouble lifting the weights.

" That is a close friend of mine from a different universe" Midnight said. " His name is Bass Breaker and he is a DJ by trade and a warrior by spirit" Midnight said noticing Twilight take interest in his friend. " Hey Breaker are you going to say hello to our guest" Midnight said loudly.

Bass Breaker turned around and noticed Twilight standing there " Twi is that really you" Breaker asked. He began walking towards her.

" Shes not the Twilight from your universe Breaker she is from the regular Equestria" Midnight said sadly. " I found out what happened to your Twi though" Midnight said sadly. " She died she was killed by Celestia when she wouldn't give up her element so Celestia killed her" he said sadly. " Her final act was to destroy her element of harmony to prevent Celestia using them to expand the Solar Empire" Midnight looked down sadness filling him. " I still haven't found out what happened to vinyl and its worrying me" Midnight said depression filling his voice.

" Its okay man you'll find her" Breaker said trying to comfort his friend. " So your from the equestria that's on the right path nothing has gone astray yet" Breaker asked Twilight.

" unless you count the changeling invasion of Canterlot during my brothers wedding then no" Twilight said looking him over. She noticed he had a gold chain around his neck that had an emerald on it. She also noted he had white hair with Bright red streaks in it. " Whats that chain for" she asked politely.

"this is how I summon my armor and weapon because I don't have a horn anymore" Breaker said.

" That reminds me Twilight I have a set of armor and a weapon i specially made for you" Midnight said walking towards the armor rack. He pulled a suit down that was a deep lavender color with light purple and pink outlining it. But where the Garnets had been on Midnight's armor there were amethyst. The deep purple of the gems fit the armor perfectly.

" It looks amazing" she said. She noticed she too had gold bands around the arms and legs along with a gold face plate. " What do the gold bands and face plate signify" she asked curiously.

" the gold signifies royalty since you are a princess I had to put a way to show your royalty" Midnight said. " Also this armor is different in this universe then it is in any other" he said seriously. " In this world any who wear this kind of armor are part of a military like group who protect the mortals" he said handing her the armor.

" Well I'm going to shower and get ready for dinner" Breaker said. " Where we eating tonight" he asked.

" We'll let Twilight choose" Midnight said. " While your showering I'll make sure the armor fits properly for Twilight" he said.

" Ok then" Breaker said. He walked out of the room grabbing his shirt, shades, and headphones off the bench by the door.

As soon as he was out of the room Twilight asked " what happened to him"? " What did he mean he doesnt have a horn anymore and why did his wings look like they were made of metal" she asked.

" Well he used to be an Alicorn until celestia cut off his horn" Midnight started to explain. " And his wings are made of metal I was the one who made the for him after his were cut off by a Changeling general as torture"Midnight said. " Now lets get you into that armor so we can see if it chooses you" he said.

" What do you mean if it chooses me" she asked.

" Well since there are many different yous I must make sure you are the one truly worthy of the armor" he said. " You will know if it chooses you because you will be able to summon your weapon of choice" he said excited.

" But I've never used a weapon in my life" she said. " How will I know if I summon the right one" she asked concerned as she put the armor on.

" It should be the first thing that comes to mind when you focus your mind" Midnight said. He watched as she put on the helmet the visor opened to show her face. " That's a good sign" he said happily. He watched as she closed her eyes and a determined look came over her face. after a few seconds a purple light shimmered in her hand. Suddenly she was holding not one but two Purple katanas. Along with the great sword strapped across her back. " Ah so your like me you posses two special weapons" Midnight said.

" but you only had one weapon at my castle" Twilight said while looking at her katanas. " What is you second weapon" she asked curious.

" Let me show you" he said. Suddenly he was standing there in his armor with his bluish gray sword at his side and a large dark red two handed Great sword strapped to his back. " you will need to learn how to summon only the weapon you want if you are to have any hope in surviving combat" he said. "Tomorrow we will begin your training" he said with a hint of excitement in his voice. He was glad there was a new member of the Lunar Spartans. He looked to the display case against the wall where a white suit of armor with light reddish grey outlining and with rubies instead of garnets or emerald or amethyst. The inscription said In honor of the first Lunar Spartan and Luna's loving husband Midnight Blood. The armor had Midnight Bloods cutie mark on the chest it was three drops of blood and the center one had black fire in it. " You would be proud dad we are growing stronger" Midnight Slash said sadly.
