The 13th Doctor

I finally see it! The Golden Harvest is the Answer, I must find it. I must think about it very hard, then I shall grasp it in it's true meaning. I can wield it against the dark force and destroy it! Something feels odd, however. It's like I've already found it...

Vooorrpp Vooorrpp--THUD

"Here we are then!" I said. I opened the TARDIS doors to Equestria's NON-Hostile twin planet. The TARDIS shields turned off as the environment was completely safe. Also, just in case you were wondering, the Daleks were recognized as friendlies from that point on. Well, those few.

"And this one has NO hostiles...right?" Dr. Healthy said. I gave him an assuring gesture. Or at least that's what I thought it was before he gave me a confused expression.

"That means yes." I said. "Sorry, still getting used to not having fingers." Both Carrot and the doctor gave me a confused look this time. I sighed to myself slowly and said, "It's a human thing." We walked out on the soft fields of a type of grass-resembling vegetation. The two, surprisingly, noticed the difference quickly.

"What is this, doctor?" Carrot Top asked. "It doesn't look like normal grass." I squatted down and took a look at it. The grass curled out in a crystal formation. It seemed to hold a sort of energy as opposed to water. It's form was much different than chlorophyll. I plucked a piece out of the ground and it quickly wilted.

"Doctor...what is it doing to the Taa...The Box?" Healthy panicked. I quickly turned to look at my TARDIS which was now covered in an aura. The TARDIS went completely black as all of it's power was drained.

"No no!" I said. "I swear I thought this planet WASN'T hostile!" I looked down and noticed the small blade of grass grew back. I had an idea.

"What are we supposed to do now?" Carrot asked.

"Okay, my hypothesis:" I started, clearing my throat. "The grass is a species of plant that revolves around a balanced energy transmission. Once even a piece of one blade is torn off, it restabalizes by draining the energy out of anything nearby, whether it be a living organism or a machine. However, we can eliminate it's threat if we overcharge it, which would cause an large electrical field over the grass that would kill us. If we can get far enough away, the TARDIS will harvest the approximate 315,000 amps of electrical energy and turn it into nearly 800,000 Quadromolecules of Artron energy. That would dispose of the field and refuel the TARDIS. That will take about 3 hours, but in that time we can explore the planet. So follow me, and run because we're fixing to fry." I pointed my screwdriver to the grass and reversed the polarity of the neutron flow, causing the alien vegetation to overflow within the next three minutes. I was hoping no one else would be there.

We ran out of the field and into a different type of vegetation that surrounded the other plant. Eventually, we made our way to a sort of village. Looked abandoned. No ponies roaming about. No alien species. Nothing. The town was very nice, however. It's buildings were made of beautiful architecture that could have only been completed and maintained by an intelligent species. The buildings were in perfect shape with now flaws whatsoever. I assumed then that everyone was there, just asleep or resting. I walked into two large crystal gates. I got a closer look at the building's architecture. It seemed to be constructed of solidified Carbon Dioxide. The creatures must have liked the cold, and were very advanced to sustain frozen CO2 in a 73 degree Farenheit temperature. That must have been why they never came out, sensitive to heat, the sun. Maybe they didn't like caves. I could assume that there would be strays that were hostile in the caves, or maybe just plain stupid. But these creatures were very intelligent. Far beyond their time. I noticed something on the ground that said "Golden Harvest." What was the big deal about it? I disregarded it, and walked into it.

I walked up to a door and knocked. I looked to my companions and said, "Don't touch it. It's Solidified Carbon Dioxide, you'll get frostbite the instant you make contact." They nodded and the door was opened. I saw a creature that resembled a pony. I assumed from it's figure and distinctive eyelashes that it was female.

"Hello? Who are you?" She asked.

"I'm the Doctor, I'm from a different world. These are my companions." I replied, pointing to my companions. "We were just exploring, and we certainly mean no harm. Also may I say you do look quite beautiful. You cities too. I admire the architecture." I smiled, but she didn't smile back. "Okay" I said, beginning to frown.

"Sorry...Doctor....It's just that..." She stopped, took a breath, and continued. "We're all dying."

The Golden Harvest must be here. I know in my heart, that it is near.
