“You idiot! You must not act like this in front of him!”
“I'm sorry! I'm sorry!”
“You will be if you don't improve your attitude! This is Dorchester we're talking about here, not some regular bridemaid! Now stop being such an idiot, and get back!”
“I'm sorry...”
“Just go... go...”
“Yes Luce...”
“Wait! Lure him into the throne room when the practice is going on! Then send him into the crystal chambers.”
“I like your thinking.”
“Enough flattering! GO!”
Dorchester's POV...
I had finally finished. I put the last piece of hoof shiner on the shelf, when the door opened. In my shock, I slammed my hoof into the wall. Breaking all the items onto the floor.
“Damn it!” I yelled. I began to pick up the items once again, I turned my head to see Princess Cadanze walking towards me.
“Look... I'm sorry I was such a bitch to you earlier... I was just stressed out.” She said.
I waved my hoof. “No, no. It's fine.”
“Here, let me help you. It's the least I can do.” She said.
“Oh... thanks.” I said.
When me and the princess finished, I got up, popping my back.
“Well, need anything else?” I asked.
“Yes, actually.” She said.
“Can you go into the throne room during the practice? You are going to take place in it, afterall.”
My eyes widened. “Of course!” I said. I ran out.
“Yes!” I hissed to myself.
Meanwhile...
“Nightmare... everything is going according to plan. Soon, that pesty pony will be out of the way! I will then send you to kill him, and the actual princess as well!”
Nightmare smacked his lips. “A meal fit for a king... and a savior? My lord, you are too kind!”
“In a disturbing way, yes.”
Dorchester's POV...
I stood next to Silvermoon. The doors opened and Princess Cadanze walked through the aisle until she was next to Shining Armor. Yet something seemed... off about him.
I heard him then ask, “Hey... has anypony seen Twilight?”
The doors suddenly burst open and Twilight came marching in. “I'm here! I'm not going to stand next to her. And neither should you!”
Princess Cadanze looked up at Shining Armor, his face scrunched up in worry. “I'm sorry, I don't, I don't know why she's acting like this.”
Cadanze just sighed. “Maybe we should just ignore her.”
“You have to listen to me!” Twilight yelled out.
I laughed nervously. “Uh... Twilight... you are making things awkward...”
Fluttershy ran up to Twilight. “Oh goodness, are you okay?”
“I'm fine!” Twilight snapped back.
“Ya sure about that?” Applejack asked.
“I've got something to say!” Twilight pointed her hoof at Cadance. “She's evil!”
“Twilight!” Silvermoon gasped. “Don't say such a thing!”
“Yep, evil!” I heard Lance say.
“Lance!” I gasped.
“She's been horrible to my friends, she's obviously done something to her bridesmaids, and if that wasn't enough, I saw her put a spell that made his eyes go all.” She backed Cadance back into a corner. She began to cry.
“Why are you doing this to me?!” She yelled.
“Because you're evil!” Twilight pointed at her again. “Evil! And if I don't stop you you're gonna ruin my brother's life!”
Cadance ran out of the room crying. When Twilight turned around, she bumped into Shining Armor.
“You want to know why my eyes went all,” He made his eyes roll around in his head. “Because ever since I started having to preform my protection spell, I've been getting terrible migraines. Cadance hasn't been casting spells on me, she's been using her magic to heal me!”
“Migraines are a bitch...” I muttered.
“And she decided to replace her bridesmaids because she found out the only reason they wanted be in the wedding was so that they could meet Canterlot royalty! And if she hasn't been on her best behavior with your friends, it's because with me being so busy, she's had to make all the decisions about the wedding!”
I saw Lance approach Twilight. “Told ya.” He whispered into her ear.
I gave him a nasty look, he smiled sheepishly.
“Just because you can't die, and you repair your bones almost instantly, makes it all the better the next time I kick your ass!” I hissed.
“I was just trying to-” Twilight began to stutter.
“She's been completely stressed out because it's really important to her that her big day be perfect! Something that obviously wasn't important to you. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go and comfort my bride. And you can forget about being my best mare. In fact, if I were you? I wouldn't show up to the wedding at all. The same goes for you Lance! Consider yourselves uninvited! Dorchester!” He said.
“Yes?”
“You're my best stallion now. In place of her.” Shining Armor spit. He then trotted out the room.
I saw the rest leave, including Silvermoon.
“You go, I'm going to give these two a piece of my mind.”
Silvermoon nodded, and left with the others.
“You two have a lot to think about.” Celestia said, as she was the last to leave. I sat there with an angry face. Staring at the two.
“Maybe I was being overprotective...” Twilight said.
“You were only looking out for your brother, even if what we thought was wrong.
“I couldn't gained a sister... but instead, I just lost a brother.”
“Hey.” I snarled.
“Oh... shit...” Lance said.
“Ha ha... yeah...” I hissed.
“You've done well, Dorchester.” I heard Cadance say.
I spun my head around. “Princess! You okay?”
“Yes, yes...”
Cadance paused for a moment.
“Dorchester, it's not their fault. I was stressed... I should have been punished instead.”
I walked over to Lance and Twilight.
“You sure?” I asked.
“Yes, I'm sure.” Cadance said.
“I'm so sorry!” Twilight cried.
Cadance smirked. Her eyes became like Luce's, but instead of pitch black eyes with a dark red slit, they became green with a black slit. “You will be.”
Suddenly, large green bubble like things rose above our heads and began to sink us towards the ground.
“Luce Danneggiato! You sick fuck!” I roared.
“Oh... it's not him this time.” Cadance grinned.
“No! Let me out of here! NO!”
I sunk into the ground, and fell into a large crystal like pit. I landed on my stomach.
“FUCK!” I yelled out. My stomach stinging with unbearable pain.
I looked to my sides, I couldn't see Lance or Twilight anywhere.
“Damn...” I said. My voice echoed loudly through the crystal halls.
“Why... hello Dorchester... long time no see? Especially face to face...”
I looked to see Luce Danneggiato's face reflecting off the large flat crystals.
I gritted my teeth. “Luce!”
“Don't forget the Danneggiato! Other then that, you'd just be calling me Light. Which is honestly the complete opposite.”
“Quit being a smartass!” I yelled.
Luce sighed. “Anger, one of my favorite emotions. Yet I've never truly understood what causes it.”
“You wanna find out?!” I challenged.
“I wish I could, but as you can see,” Luce moved out of the way, to reveal his massive plate armor suit. Massive silver back plates lined with gold on the edge of the armor with a massive helmet that would fit a snakes head were hovering in place. I saw more armor being made, it looked like... wing armor!
Luce roared with laughter when he saw my face turn into one of horror. “Beautiful, isn't it? When I take over this universe, it will only get more impressive! I suggest you go and find your friends. You know, the ones you began to feel... hate towards?”
“I realized Twilight and Lance were right! I feel nothing but friendship towards them!”
Luce sighed. “Only until your death, will you find out that it was meant to be this way. You should have died after our first encounter, me along with you. At least I could have died knowing I took you down with me! But noooo~! You had to play hero and live! Well, no more second chances Dorchester! Live or die in the next month! Live. Or. Die!”
Luce's snarling face vanished from the crystal's face. I sighed.
Better go find Lance and Twilight.
Yeah...
I walked around in the crystal room until I heard hoof steps.
“Lance? Twilight?” I yelled.
“Dorchester!” Twilight said.
“Oh my god, I'm sorry for doubting you!” I said.
Twilight waved her hoof. “It's fine. We just need to find Lance and get out of h-”
“Ha ha ha!”
“Cadance!” Twilight yelled.
“You dirty traitor! Luce is evil!” Twilight blasted a massive bolt of magic at the wall which reflected Cadances smirking face. When the smoke cleared...
What?!
Another Cadance?!
Lolwut?
Twilight ran towards her.
When Cadance noticed us, she backed up on her haunches and tried to protect herself with her hooves. “No! Wait! Ugh! Please! Don't hurt me!” Then she noticed it was Twilight. “Twilight, it's me! Please, you have to believe me. I've been imprisoned like you. The Cadance who brought you down here was an imposter.”
“Likely story!” Twilight said.
Cadance began to sing.
“Sunshine, sunshine, ladybugs awake. Clap your hooves...”
They both said, “...and do a little shake.”
Twilight hugged Cadance. “You remember me!”
“Of course I do. How could I forget the filly I love to sit for the most?” Cadance hugged Twilight back.
I heard Luce's and the fake Candance's fake laughter.
“Sunshine, sunshine, ladybugs awake...” Luce mimicked Twilight and Cadance.
“Clap your hooves and do a little shake! Ha ha ha!” The faker laughed.
“Isn't this sweet? Too bad you'll all die here! This day was supposed to be perfect. Wait, scratch that. It is perfect! This day is going to be perfect!”
“Who... are you?” Cadance said.
“My name is Luce Danneggiato,” Luce said. “In other words, I am Corrupted Light. I am the brother of Tythol, creator of the universe this pitiful world sits in so merrily... and soon to be mine. I am evil itself!”
Cadance gasped. “You! I've heard about you!”
Luce smirked. “Doesn't make you anymore special.”
The faker and Luce's face vanished from the crystal's walls.
