Equestrian Warriors

The main six and Discord were having a friendly conversation, but they quickly stopped once someone banged on the table. They turned their attention to Gumdramon, arms hanging on his sides and just staring off into space.

"Gumdramon... are you okay?" Twilight asked, waiting for an answer.

Gumdramon slowly got up and started walking away from the table. Rainbow Dash quickly towards Gumdramon, stopping in front of him.

"Hello, is anypony in there?" She asked, tapping the top of his head. Once she made contact, his colors slowly became pale. The others quickly ran over towards the two, worried expressions on their faces. "I didn't do anything!" Rainbow quickly yelled in her defense.

"Twilight, what's happening to him?" Fluttershy asked, turning her head towards Twilight.

"I'm not sure, but I have seen something like this." She replied, rubbing her chin with a hoof.

"Now where in Equestria have you seen this kind of thing?" Applejack asked, confused by what her friend had just said.

"Actually, we've all seen. This looks like the same thing Discord did to us in the maze." Twilight said, pointing a hoof at him.

"How dare you! I thought we were all friends, I feel so betrayed." Discord said, dramatically tilting his head back and placing his claw on his face.

Everyone raised their eyebrows at him, not buying the act.

"But seriously, I didn't put this spell on him. It seems similar to mine, but it's a bit different." He started, getting everyone's attention. "He does seem to be acting different and starting to loss color, but the magical aura feels very different. He's appears to be in some sort of mental state."

"How would you know all that if you didn't do it?" Rainbow asked, getting up in Discord's face.

"Um, hello? Spirit of Chaos and Disharmony, I can tell whenever there's something wrong with somepony, magically of course."

"Alright, so can you get rid of it?" Pinkie asked, tilting her head.

"Oh, there's no why I can fix it." Discord replied, filing his dragon claws with a toothbrush.

"What?!" They all yelled in shock.

"Everypony just calm down. I can't do anything, but prissy princess here can."

"I can... wait, I'm not pri-"

"Just do the same thing you did when I used it on you girls." He said, getting into a bed that came out of nowhere.

"Oh yeah, the Memory Spell!" Twilight exclaimed, realizing what Discord was talking about.

"Shpingo!" Discord said, snapping his fingers in bed.

"Um, I don't want to ruin this lovely conversation, but where's Gumdramon?" Rarity asked.

Everyone, except Discord, started to panic and ran towards the direction Gumdramon was originally going.

"Why wasn't anypony watching him?" Applejack asked.

"Oh, your the one to talk. Why didn't you watch him?" Rainbow retorted.

"That doesn't matter!" Twilight interjected. "All that matters now is trying to find him and use the spell to remove that spell on him."

"I see him! Hey Gumdramon, where are you going?!" Pinkie yelled, riding on her part cannon.

"Rainbow, hold him down!" Twilight asked.

"Alright." Rainbow replied, saluting before flying towards Gumdramon. She started to get closer and closer to her slow moving target.

"Aaaaand... Gotcha!" She yelled, pressing wrapping her legs around his chest.

Slowly after grabbing him, she flew right through him, hitting the ground. Gumdramon continued walking and was about to step on her. Once his foot made contact with her, it continued to go through her, causing Rainbow to shiver. Rainbow quickly flew off the ground, shivering a little more.

"What the what?!" Rainbow shouted, the expression on her face capturing pure confusion.

"Rainbow, what happened?" Twilight asked.

"I don't know! I thought I grabbed him, but it was like I was grabbing frozen air. It was weird." Rainbow answered, shivering again.

"There's no time to worry about that now, I need to use the spell while I still have the chance." Twilight said, running in front of Gumdramon.

She blasted a ray of purple aura at Gumdramon's head, making him stop. Twilight started to smile, but it quickly faded as his colors started to become even paler and continued to walk.

"I don't understand, why didn't it work?" She wondered, worried about her friend.

"I forget, what was that spell suppose to do again?" Pinkie asked, bouncing on a party balloon.

"The spell is supposed to make the pony you use it on remember their true... selves." Twilight stopped, realization the answer to their problem. "The spell couldn't work on him. He doesn't have any memories about his past. He can't remember a memory if it's not there." Twilight stated, tears forming in her eyes.

"There there, Twilight. You tried your best." Discord said, coming out of nowhere and giving her a tissue.

"What are we suppose to do? None of us can use our magic to get rid of it." Twilight said, tilting her head down.

"Well, maybe it's not as bad as we think. Maybe he just needs to walk it off." Rainbow said, trying to lighten up the mood.

"Uh, I don't think he's gonna be able to walk much longer." Pinkie said.

"Why's that?" Rarity asked.

"Because he's about to walk off that cliff." She finished, pointing at Gumdramon who was only a few yards away form the edge of the cliff.

"Gumdramon!" The other five ponies yelled.
