A Discorded Experience - Finale

"You're doing great, just a little further and you'll find me." The mysterious voice said.

"I forget, what am I looking for again?" Gumdramon asked.

"You're looking for yourself." The voice replied.

Gumdramon continued walking, but a little slower than he was before.

The mane six were trying everything they could to stop Gumdramon from walking off the cliff. Pinkie tried to blast him back with her party cannon, but to no avail. Rainbow Dash and Applejack tried pushing him back, but kept going trough him. Twilight tried to use her magic to blast, levitate, or teleport Gumdramon away from the edge, but nothing worked. After a few minutes of trying, they all went back towards Fluttershy and Discord, sitting down and breathing heavily.

"I don't know what to do anymore, we've tried everything. We... we can't do anything." Twilight said, tears forming in her eyes.

"T-There has to be something we can do!" Fluttershy quietly yelled, tears falling down her cheeks.

"Alright, this has gone on long enough. Sorry KK, but I do this anymore." Discord thought to himself, snapping his fingers. Gumdramon sparkled a bit, but soon became even paler. "What, this can't be happening. It's not supposed to do that, what's going on in his head?"

Fluttershy got up and quickly flew in front of Gumdramon, only a few feet away from the edge. "Gudramon, please listen to me! I'm here for you, we're all here for you! Just tell us what's wrong and maybe we can help." Fluttershy said, walking a little closer to him.

"Gumdramon!" Fluttershy's voice echoed trough the endless void.

"What was that?" Gumdramon asked, looking around.

"It was nothing! Quickly, you've almost found yourself!" The voice yelled.

"Find myself? That doesn't really make much sense."

"What?"

"I mean, how can I find myself if I'm standing right here?"

"You're only half of yourself. You need me to be whole again."

"Wait, earlier you said you were me."

"I am!"

"But now you're telling me you're a part of me. I'm starting to think you don't know what you're talking about."

"That's It!" The voice yelled, black smoke forming in front of Gumdramon. The smoke soon vanished, revealing a black version of Gumdramon with the Shadow symbol on his forehead instead of an X.

"Who are you?" Gumdramon asked.

"I'm you, the old you that is. I'm the your life that you tried to get rid of, but you can't erase the past. I'm literally your past coming back to haunt you, but instead I want you to be me again. It was fun being me, no rules, no remorse and no one holding me back. Come on, I'll give you one more chance to be me again before I force you to become me." The dark version of Gumdramon said, offering his hand to his purple counterpart.

"N-No! I don't want to go back to that! I have people who depend on me now! I have... friends!"

"Ha! I gave you a chance, but looks like you just won't listen. Now I'm gonna have to make you!" He yelled, turning into black smoke and flying into Gumdramon's chest.

Parts of his started to glow certain colors, blue, purple, orange, red and light blue. Gumdramon opened his eyes and started screaming in pain.

"No, stop! Please!"

"Sorry, but you made me do this. I think the best way to win you over is to relive the memory of your first sin. You know the one."

"No, I don't!" He yelled even louder.

"You will."

Flashes of Gumdramon in a small white hallway appeared in his mined. Scrambled voices yelled at him from behind could barley be heard. He lifted up his arm, shaking in fear of something.

"NO!!!" He yelled, a loud gunshot echoed through the hallway after he said that.

Gumdramon slowly regained his colors, staring up at the sky. Fluttershy was squeezing him in a hug, her back legs hanging off the edge of the cliff. Gumdramon slowly started to tear up before going into full cry mode. He returned Fluttershy's embrace, scaring her a bit, but slowly calming down and cried tears of joy. The other five ponies quickly ran towards the two and hugged each other in tight embraces.

"We're so glad your okay!" They all cried in unison.

"Thank you, all of you." He mumbled loud enough for all of them to hear.

Discord looked at the heartwarming moment and smiled. His smile quickly disappeared as he teleport away.

"Ah, Discord. How did it go?" Princess Celestia asked him.

"I'm never doing that again." He said, folding his arms in anger.

"And you won't have to. I just wanted to see if this new technique would help us see if was truly on our side."

"Well we still do not trust him." Luna interjected, drawing the attention of Discord and Celestia.

"Luna, there's is nothing more we need to prove. Not only did he save our castle and the Crystal Empire, but Discord's spell showed that he's actually just as scared as we are." Celestia said, putting a hoof on her sister's shoulder. Luna slapped her hoof away and walked towards the doors.

"Still, there's just one thing we must do before we can truly trust him." She said before closing the doors behind her.

"I've gotta go, my friends are probably wondering where I am." Discord said, preparing to snap his fingers.

"Just don't tell them what you did. I don't want them to lose faith in you again." Celestia said.

"I won't... But I hope you'll tell them what you did." He said, teleporting away.

Celestia looked around the empty room, seeing no one was there.

"Huh, I wish they'd understand I do this things with good intentions."

Luna walked into her Hall of Mirrors and teleported to the very end of the hall. In front of her was a fancy, dark blue mirror with a crescent moon engraved in the glass.

"Ponies say that the eyes are the windows to the souls. I believe that mirrors are the doorway to the mind." Luna slowly walked into the mirror, entering a magical void with millions of doors floating in the air.

"All I need to do is find the right door."

"End of Episode 6"
