DarkShoutmon was sitting in a chair, watching the party on a large screen. Rascal walked up behind him, trying to open a jar of pickles. He stopped trying to open it, looking up at the screen.

"Wow, if you wanted to go to the party I'm sure they would've let you if you'd just asked." Rascal said before biting the lid of the jar.

"Ugh, this isn't about not being invited to a party! Besides, I'm not really the party guy." DarkShoutmon said, crossing his arms.

"For a guy who doesn't like parties, you sure do like the pony that throws them." Rascal added, smirking at him.

"Now why would you say such a thing." DarkShoutmon asked, not turning around to hide his blush.

"We live in the same room and you talk in your sleep. Oh, before I forget, I've been meaning to ask you something. Do you really like her ocean blue eyes?" Rascal asked, leaning of the pickle jar.

"I'm tired of this conversation." DarkShoutmon said in a flat tone.

"Alright, let's change the subject. So, why are you watching this party?" Rascal asked as he began to slash at the jar of pickles.

"Well if you must know, I had one of my new inventions sent to that world not so long ago. You see that boom box?" He asked, pointing at the screen as the camera zoomed in behind the DJ. "That is Doom Box, a killer robot that uses the sound waves of music as ammunition! Once the party dies down, the DJ will use the boom box so that it'll be easier to play songs and then..."

"you're robot blows up?"

"What? No, it transforms when she hits play and starts to attack Gumdramon."

"Oh, well I still think it's gonna blow up."

"It will not! It's going to cause chaos and mayhem!"

"I bet you three Nutty Bars that it's not going to attack once."

"You're on! We'll see who's wrong." DarkShoutmon confidently sat down and relaxed in his chair.

"Yeah well, you're not the one who read the story." Rascal whispered, winking to the reader.

Fluttershy was running down the dirt roads of Ponyville, trying her best not to trip. She had a small, pink box with yellow ribbon under one of her wings.

"Oh, I'm so late. I really wish Angel had woken me up earlier." She said to herself. She started to slow down as she got closer to the park. "Okay, just give Gumdramon the present and see what happens. He'll like it, I-I think he'll like it... I hope he likes it."

She stopped in her tracks, hearing loud cheers and screams of excitement. She walked onto the bridge and looked at the large crowd of ponies. Gumdramon was on stage, opening the last of his many presents. In the pile of opened presents were several appliances, furniture, clothes, and even an arcade cabinet.

"Wow everyone, these presents are amazing! Thank you all so much!" Gumdramon shouted, causing several ponies to say thank you at once.

Fluttershy looked at Gumdramon and then at the large pile of presents. She looked at her small box, frowning at it. She hung her head down as began to walk away.

"But you know, I actually have something for all of you!" Gumdramon shouted, getting several ponies' attention, including Fluttershy. "Now I know that this isn't much, but just know that I'm putting a lot of thought and effort into this! And to me, that's really the only thing that matter!"

"The only thing that matter?" Fluttershy thought to herself as she looked back at her present.

Gumdramon summoned the D-Drive and spun the disc, stopping it as it landed on a music note. All of a sudden, a keytar appeared in his hands. "I would also like to mention that this isn't for a particular person! This is just a song I really like and wanted to share with all of you!" Gumdramon quickly added, blushing a little.

"It's been said and done, every beautiful thought's been already sung, and I guess right now here's another one. So your melody will play on and on, with the best of 'em. You are beautiful, like a dream come alive, incredible. A sinful, miracle, lyrical, you've saved my life again... and I want you to know baby!" Suddenly, the stage pyrotechnics activated, shooting out colorful sparks and the stage lights shined on Gumdramon as he began to rock out.

"I, I love you like a love song, baby! I, I love you like a love song, baby! I, I love you like a love song, baby! And I keep hitting re-peat-peat-peat-peat-peat-peat!" Several ponies began to dance and cheer to his song. Fluttershy stared at him with big eyes, a large smile began to grow on her face.

"I, I love you like a love song, baby! I, I love you like a love song, baby! I, I love you like a love song, baby! And I keep hitting re-peat-peat-peat-peat-peat-peat!" Twilight and the others began to cheer for Gumdramon as well. Fluttershy, still on the bridge, began to shake her flanks as she leaned on the side of the bridge.

"Constantly, boy you play through my mind like a symphony, there's no way to describe what you do to me! You just do to me, what you do and it feels like I've been rescued, I've been set free! I am hypnotized by your destiny! You are magical, lyrical, beautiful, you are and I want you to know baby!" Once again, several ponies started cheering as Gumdramon jumped in the air, landing closer to the edge of the stage, bouncing to the beat.

Suddenly, Fluttershy began to sing the song, not knowing how loud she was singing. " No one compares, you stand alone, to every record I own! Music to my heart that's what you are... a song that goes on and on!" Everyone looked at her, including Gumdramon, who began to blush.

"I, I love you like a love song, baby! I, I love you like a love song, baby! I, I love you like a love song, baby! And I keep hitting re-peat-peat-peat-peat-peat-peat!" Gumdramon and Fluttershy sang in unison, Fluttershy still not realizing how loud she was singing. Gumdramon began to blush more the longer he saw her dance in place, a small smile started to grow on his face.

"I, I love you like a love song, baby! I, I love you like a love song, baby! I, I love you like a love song, baby! I love you like a love song..." Fluttershy slowly opened her eyes, finally noticing all the ponies staring at her. She quickly looked at Gumdramon, noticing that he wasn't playing anymore and was also staring at her. She blushed as everyone started cheering. She began to run away, causing several ponies to be confused. Gumdramon returned the keytar back to the D-Drive before running after her.

"What just happened?" Twilight asked the others, only to receive several shrugs.

Fluttershy continued to run through the park, her face still blushing from embarrassment. Before she could go any further, she tripped on a rock and fell to the ground.

"Fluttershy, are you okay?" Gumdramon asked, leaning over her.

"Y-Yeah, I-I'm fine." She said while getting back up on her hooves.

"Y'know, I don't think I've ever heard you sing before." Gumdramon said, blushing a bit.

"Well know everypony has and I hate it!" She shouted as tears began to form in her eyes.

"What's wrong with that?"

"I-It's just that, I'm so embarrassed. I'm not comfortable with singing in front of other ponies and now I find out I just sang in front of the entire town!" She shouted, sitting down in fetal position and crying.

"You know, I'm not that comfortable with doing some of the stuff I do either." Gumdramon said, sitting down next to her.

"Really? I thought you were this war hero, how could you be uncomfortable with doing small things?" She asked, looking at him with teary eyes.

"Well, just because I can fight a war doesn't mean I'm fearless. Heck, I'm too scared to let anyone know that I give massages." Gumdramon quickly covered his mouth, blushing.

"W-Wait, are you?" Fluttershy wondered before she began to blush as well. "Y-You're to mysterious masseuse!" She realized.

"Uh, well, I-I, uh, yeah." Gumdramon said, blushing in embarrassment.

"So, you were the one giving me that massage?" She asked more calmly.

"I know, it was really awkward for me! I probably totally ruined it too because of how weird it was and-"

"No, it was actually... nice." She interjected, blushing a little.

"R-Really? I... I'm sorry."

"Why are you sorry?"

"I don't know, I just am."

The two of them sat there in awkward silence before Fluttershy broke it.

"So... what was with weird thing you added before your song?"

"Uh, what do you mean?" Gumdramon asked, trying to act like he didn't know what she was talking about.

"You said that your song wasn't for a specific pony?"

"Who said it was a pony? I never said it was a pony?" Gumdramon said in a panicked fashion. Fluttershy raised an eyebrow at him. "Okay, so maybe it was for somebo-... somepony." Gumdramon said, blushing.

"Well, she must be pretty lucky to have someone like you like them." Fluttershy said under her breathe.

Gumdramon took a deep breathe before pulling an envelope out of his shirt. "Here!" He said, holding the envelope in front of her, but facing the other direction to hide his blush. Fluttershy grabbed the envelope and opened it, pulling out the letter. "Actually I changed my mind, this was a bad idea!" Gumdramon quickly said, trying to grab the letter, blushing intensely.

"What's wrong?" Fluttershy asked. Gumdramon looked into her eyes and quickly looked away, covering where his ears would be.

"J-Just ready, quickly!" He said, blushing.

Fluttershy placed a hoof on her mouth, turning to Gumdramon. He slowly turned his head, but quickly looked at the ground

"I'm uh, not really the best at writing my feelings in poetry." He said, blushing intensely.

"Gumdramon, I-I..." Fluttershy stopped talking as tears started to run down her face. She jumped onto Gumdramon, pinning him to the ground in a hug. "I LOVE YOU TOO!" She yelled, blushing as intense as him. Gumdramon didn't say anything, he just started to hug her as well. The two of them looked into each others eyes and quickly stood back up, blushing.

"W-Well, that was some development." Gumdramon said, rubbing the back of his head.

"Y-Yeah, so... what do we do know?"

"I don't know, I've never been in a relationship before. Are we in a relationship now?"

"I guess, maybe." Fluttershy and Gumdramon began kicking the ground, but Gumdramon stopped when he noticed the small, pink box.

"Hey, what's this?" He asked as he picked it up. Before Fluttershy could stop him, he opened the box to reveal a small, silver heart locket with wings. "W-What, what is this?"

"It was a present I was going to give you at your party. It's not big and bold like the others, but I thought about you when I got it." Fluttershy explained, rubbing her foreleg.

Gumdramon put the locket around his neck and over his shirt. "It's perfect. So, what are we going to tell the others?"

"C-Could we keep this a secret, just between the two of us? I mean, at least for now? I'm not sure I'm ready to tell them about this."

"I understand."

"And that's what I love about you."

"I keep a lot of secrets?" Gumdramon joked.

"No, that you understand." Fluttershy said, giggling. Gumdramon started laughing as well.

On top of a distant hill, a shadowy figure is hiding in the bushes, watching the two. "So, you finally found someone to love? Well then, looks like it's my turn to destroy her like you did to mine!" The shadowy figure said in a deep voice as one of his eyes glowed red.
