Chaos And Magic: The TwiCord Collab

Twilight was determined. She had been thinking and planning her move for several weeks. Backup plans and escape routes where thoroughly mapped out and memorized should her current decision fail.

With unwavering steps she walked into the maze in the Canterlot garden. As she got deeper it began taking on a more crazy or chaotic look. It felt like she was walking in a circle having passed the same silly faced balloon for the third time. Twilight wasn’t really trying to get to the center though just the being that lived in the maze.

She stopped in front of the silly face balloon in confusion as she really didn’t know which direction to go that would get her close to her destination. Having stared at it for so long she noticed the eyes blink at her. Realization came to her and she couldn’t help but snort at her obliviousness.

“Discord why didn’t you tell me I was walking around in circles?” she addressed the balloon.

“I was appreciating the view too much. So what brings you to my abode dear princess?” The balloon spoke as it elongated into a Discord shaped balloon instead.

Twilight flushed at his words and felt her heart thu-thump as she stepped a little closer to him.

“Well I…” she hesitated; come on you can do this, Plan A in motion.

“Discord, I want you to have this,” Twilight said, putting a small box on the floor.

Curious, the Draconequus leaned forward uncaring of personal space as he was a few inches from Twilights face.

Seeing he was near enough Twilight tilted that little bit more and kissed Discord on the lips. Discord was so surprised by the action he was only able to notice how soft her lips were before they left his own.

“Happy Birthday,” with cheeks a rosy hue, Twilight summoned her magic and flashed out of there.

Coming out of his own daze Discord gave a sly grin as he licked his lips tasting parchment, mint and magic.

“It is indeed,” he muttered to himself, picking up the package and disappearing as well.
