Bodies of Water
I Can See The Dock That It Stares From
Previous ChapterNext ChapterA rainbow desires to drink from the waters that it does not truly desire.
Rainbow Dash stares out at the waters that surround her.
She sees its color, the beautiful blues that grace her vision roars its ever-so-loud call before slamming against the dock that gives her the ability to stand proudly without falling and drowning in the depths of color.
She sighs. The desire to dive in is high, yet she must resist the temptation. The night before was discouraging for her, she succumbed to the pleasures of the waters that wishes for her to be the only one that remains.
All she remembers after that was drinking some true water from a sink at a hotel room with another mare.
She remembers the mare; they woke up together drowning in each other's water.
Of course, their waters did mix; they did love it.
The waters inside them boiled before they released, spilling onto the sheets.
They never knew that water could be this much of an issue.
Rainbow Dash begins to walk to the end of the dock, getting an even greater view of the vast ocean in front of her. She cranes her neck, the reflection she sees is her own, but not one she desires.
Tears begin to fill her eyes.
Rainbow Dash does not see the true reflection that she wishes would appear.
They mat her cheeks.
Rainbow Dash does not see the body of water she wishes to tread in.
They drip to the wood.
Rainbow Dash does not feel like she's on top of the world.
They drip to the ocean.
Rainbow Dash feels like she's drowning her own water once again.
She grasps it tightly.
She takes a sip.
She succumbs to the pleasures once again.
