The ground beneath him was covered in a blanket of snow. He felt a chill as a wind blew past him. It seemed to go right through his bones. He produced a scarf to warm himself. As he walked he looked above into the sky. It looks like a storm. I've lived through plenty of those He scoffed. Then he heard a growl from behind. He spun around to see a Manticore. It hit him square across the face and Discord was thrown into a pond of thin ice. He blinked, and everything went black. Fluttershy knocked on Twilight's door. Spike opened the door "Hey, Fluttershy!" He said. "Is Twilight home?" "No. She's out running errands. Do you need something?" He asked as he let her inside. "Yes. If you don't mind, I need a book of fairy tales. For Angel Bunny. Do you have some?" "Yeah. I think. Here." He said as he pulled out a book. "Careful. It's kind of old. Some of the pages are falling out. If any come out bring it to me and I'll tape it up." "Okay. Thanks Spike!" She called as she trotted away. "... And he turned into a handsome colt. They got married, and lived happily ever after. The End!" She looked at Angel expectantly. He twitched his nose and turned away. "You don't like that one either? But I've read half the book!" She cried. Then a page fell out of the book and started to fly away. "Oh no!" It floated out the window, followed by Angel. "Wait! Angel Bunny!" She galloped down the stairs, outside. Angel was bouncing after the page, ignoring the yellow Pegasus' cries. Fluttershy stopped suddenly when she realized Angel Bunny was bouncing into the Everfree. "Angel Bunny! " She screamed "Get out of there! What are you thinking?!" Angel paid no attention. Fluttershy mustered up every ounce of courage she could, and followed him. A little while in she came across a ball of ice. And there was something inside.
The Creature in IceView OnlineTears of a GodThe Creature in Ice"So let me get this strait: You saw a creature, stuck in ice, in the Everfree?" "Um... Yes." Said the yellow Pegasus. Twilight pondered this. "I think we should get a closer look." She said. "You mean unfreeze it?" "Yes." "Will it be..." "No. I hope not. For your sake." Fluttershy winced at the thought. Twilight concentrated. Slowly the ice around the creature melted. "Oh my," whispered Fluttershy "It's a... No... They've been extinct for years... But it... It's a... Oh my" "Fluttershy, you know what this creature is?" "Yes, but I don't belive it. They have been extinct since before Nightmare Moon! How is this one still here?" She rubbed her eyes and blinked. "No pony's seen one for over a thousand years!" She cried. "What is it?" "It's a Draconequus." They set him on Fluttershy's couch, seeing as that was the only place he would fit. The little Pegasus could not stop wondering how he survived. (They ended up finding out he was alive) They are magical. She thought. Maybe he saved himself somehow? Still baffled by this creature, she decided to start cooking dinner for her animals. (She was going to eat out with her friends) When she finished, she took one last look at the Draconequus, and went to dinner. "... And he's been all over me lately. I don't mind but sometimes he's not super helpful." chuckled AppleJack. "Please don't tell him. I don't want to hurt Spike's feelings." "Don't worry. I won't." Said Twilight. "None of you will guess what Soarin said to Spitfire when she wouldn't give us weekend off!" Laughed Rainbow Dash. "He said: 'Well whet do you get a break? Huh? If we get a break, you get a break.' You should have seen her face! She liked the idea and gave everyone the weekend off!" "I don't see what's so funny but since you're laughing, I will too!" And Pinkie started laughing too. Fluttershy kept quiet mostly. "Well FancyPants and I are doing fabulous! We recently went to a party in Canterlot, it was magnificent!" Said Rarity. "Yeah sure, whatever." The blue Pegasus rolled her eyes. "I'm sure it wasn't a great as the WonderBolts performing tonight!" "WHAT?!" cried Pinkie. "The WonderBolts are performing tonight!" "WHAT?! Why didn't I hear about this sooner!" She said "Now I have to throw a 'Welcome WonderBolts you're so Awsome' party! And before tonight! Wait. It is night! It's 7:00! I have to go! Bye!" And with that she zoomed off. They all stared in her direction. "Okay that was, well, normal for Pinkie I guess." Said Rainbow. Anyways you guys will love our show! It's at 9:00 by the way" "I'm sure we will darling!" "Um guys? I have to go... I have something to take care of at home. I'll see you at 9:00 okay?" "Alright sweetie." "Okay Flutters." "Bye Fluttershy." "See you soon sugar cube." "Bye guys." She said. And with that she trotted home.

Oddly enough he was on the ceiling, though she shouldn't have been surprised after yesterday. She thought she would go for a stroll. She was walking on the edge of the Everfree Forest when she thought of her empty vase at her cottage. She trotted over to a patch of flowers and started to pluck a few when she heard a growl. "What's that soun- Eek!" She screamed as a creature slapped her and she hit a nearby tree. When she got back up, she saw what had hit her. Discord woke to a high pitched scream. He raced out the door to see what had happened. He saw Fluttershy on she ground whimpering. He turned in the direction of the attacker and saw a hungry Timber Wolf biting her wing. "Don't you dare touch her!" He growled. He tore at it breaking twigs and branches. The Timber Wolf was gone in a minute. All that was left were some leaves and wood chips. "T-thank you, Discord!" "Fluttershy!" "I-I'm fine." She lied. "No your not!" He said as he conjured some bandages. "Why did it attack you?" "I'm not sure... I was looking for some flowers for my vase at home and it, well attacked!" Discord thought about this. "Okay my turn. Why did you save me?" The draconequus didn't answer. He put Fluttershy on his back and flew to her cottage. The yellow Pegasus looked at her hooves. "Thank you." She said. "You're welcome." He clapped his hands over his mouth. What are you thinking?! He thought When have you ever liked somepony? It had been a month since the Timberwolf incident. Fluttershy and Discord started to like each other more and more. Fluttershy had told her friends who she was housing and to her relief, the Princesses didn't make a big fuss about it. "Fluttershy, I um..." He gulped. "Would you - er - go out... with me?" She looked down. "Um... Well... I..." She whispered, rocking back and forth. "I... Well... When?" "When ever you're alright with it." She bit her lip. "Is there something the matter?" He asked. "Well... Um... Yes." She sighed. "Do you really mean it? You're not going to trick me?" "Of course not! Why would you think that?" "Well when I was around fourteen... One pony asked me out... And, well... When we met... He said that I...was stupid to think that he would really like to go out with me..." "That was wrong of him! Why- " She put a hoof to his mouth. "It's okay. I don't think you're lying..." She said. "I... Yes I will go out with you." "R-really?" "Yes." She smiled. He smiled back and started to comb her hair with his fingers. "You know... I love you... Twilight, Apple Jack, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Fluttershy and Discord had been summoned by the Princess Celestia, the reason they did not know. "I am afraid that Tirek has returned." Said the Princess. Discord's eyes widened. "Wait. So who's Tirek? And what do you mean 'returned'?" Asked Twilight. Fluttershy looked at Discord worriedly. He seemed afraid. "Tirek was a terrible monster. Sucking everypony's energy and magic." Said Luna. "He must be stopped before he gets too strong!" Now Fluttershy knew why Discord was so scared. She stared at the ground. Suddenly a glass wall appeared and lifted her up into the air. She was inside a glass sphere. Then came the booming voice. "Surrender your magic, Discord. From what I've heard, you love this mare very dearly. A mistake you will forever regret. You would hate for her to die wouldn't you?" At this the little Pegasus felt herself being drained of her energy. She slumped. "I will exchange her for your magic." He said. She heard a pop, and she found herself on a floating piece of land. She was still inside the glass bubble though. She heard another pop and when she turned around, Discord was standing in front of Tirek. "Discord no! Don't do it! I'm not worth that!" She cried. He looked at her solemnly. "No! Please." She said those last words quieter because more of her energy was draining. "You surrender? Have you really become that soft?" Said Tirek. "Like I said: Big mistake." He chuckled. Fluttershy could only make out a few words because they were quite muffled. "I am not soft. It was no mistake. I..." He looked at his beloved Pegasus. "No!" She screamed. Don't do it, Discord! I'm not worth it!" "Ah, Fluttershy... He said. "You are. You are worth every gem, every bit, every diamond in the world to me. What would I do if you died? What would be the purpose of chaos... the purpose of me... If you were gone?" He gave her a weak smile. "I couldn't live like that." He turned to Tirek. "I surrender." "No! Discord!" Screamed the Pegasus, tears streaming down her face. Tirek opened his mouth and, colorful light came from Discord's levitating body. It flooded into Tirek's mouth and Discord fell to the ground. He got up weakly. The glass around Fluttershy disappeared and she ran to Discord's side. Tirek kicked the weak Discord over the side of the floating land. Fluttershy screamed. She went after Discord. Then she felt a chill. Her energy was draining fast, and she couldn't fly. She fell alongside Discord. "Fluttershy..." He said weakly. "I couldn't let you go." She said. "I love you." She smiled, and hit the ground with a thud. All the magic left inside of poor Fluttershy was sucked out by Tirek. It was too much and he glowed a bright red, and exploded. Everyone's magic and energy was returned. Except Fluttershy. Her lifeless body could not gather the energy, so it was consumed by Discord. "Fluttershy..." He said. He picked up her cold, limp body and teleported to the palace. "Discord!" cried Twilight. "What happened to-" She stopped when she saw Fluttershy's body in his arms. "She fell." He said, tears streaming down his face "She-" He couldn't say anymore. He laid her down on the floor. She looked so peaceful. Almost like she was sleeping. All the ponies around him were crying. "I am sorry." Said Celestia. She closed her eyes and bowed her head. Luna and the others did the same. "To our dear Fluttershy." They said. Discord just sat there, staring at her body. It seemed impossible. She couldn't be dead. He waited. Hoping for a sigh or even a breath. Nothing happened. She only lay there. Fluttershy's funeral was held in an open field. Even the Princesses came. She lay in a cherry wood box. It had a gold plate on it saying when she was born and when she died. Discord came up to the box. He couldn't help but cry. Some of his tears landed on her forehead. He levitated the cover and put it on top of the box. On the lid, lay painted words saying: Fluttershy, I will never forget you. He lay her coffin down, into a hole and buried her. Goodbye, Fluttershy. He said as he walked away. He would never forget her.
Waking UpView OnlineTears of a GodWaking UpFluttershy was feeding her animals when Discord woke up. "Where am I?" He said. When he saw the little Pegasus he got on all fours an growled. She shrunk into a ball and whimpered. "Ow!" He said. Angel Bunny had thrown an acorn at him. He rubbed his head where the acorn had hit him. "Little beast..." He grumbled. "Angel! That's no way to treat a guest!" Scolded the Pegasus. "I'm so sorry. My name's Fluttershy. What's you name?" She asked. "Wait. You don't know me? How long have I been out?" He asked. "Well... about two days here... Then how ever long you were in that ice..." He gulped. "Ice...? How long has it really been?" He asked himself. "So... Do you have a name?" She asked again "Uh... Oh! Right I'm - erm - Discord..." He finally answered. "Well then. Discord, what do you want for breakfast? Boiled eggs?" "Sure. With marmalade." "Marmalade?" She asked with an 'are-you-sure?' tone "Mmhm." "Um... Okay...?" She said rolling her eyes. She walked into the kitchen and got to work. "Discord? Are you sure he said Discord?" Asked Twilight. Fluttershy had gone to the library to see Twilight about Discord. "I'm sure." Fluttershy confirmed. "Because it says here that Discord was the Lord of Chaos." She said. "He took over Equestria. But when the two Sisters tried to defeat him..." Her voice trailed off. "What happened?" Asked the worried Pegasus. "He escaped..." Fluttershy gasped. The two stared at each other. "So... Then... I have a... Lord of Chaos... inside my home?!" She cried. "The Lord of Chaos." Twilight corrected. When Fluttershy got home her house was a wreak. The ceiling was raining chocolate milk, the couch was turned to cotton candy and the floor was all soapy. Discord was on the couch drinking his... cup. When he noticed she was home, he snapped his fingers and everything was turned back to normal. She looked at him with a 'what-were-you-thinking?!' look. He grinned slyly. 'How nice it would be to caress that silky pink hair...' He thought. He quickly dismissed it though. Fluttershy looked at him uncomfortably, rubbing her fore leg. "I um... know who you... are..." She said carefully. "And I uh..." "You hate me now?" He guessed. His smile was gone. "What?! No! I just..." She couldn't seem to find words. "You're afraid?" He guessed again, rolling his eyes. "That's news." "No... I'm not. I'm afraid that others will recognize you." "Like who?" "Well... Apparently... You escaped about a thousand years ago... And the only ones who've been alive that long are... The princesses." "Well maybe I don't care!" He said. "I think you do." She countered. He hissed at her. "Anyways..." She said. "Would you prefer the bed or the couch?" "I think couch." He said. "Alright then. Good night!" She smiled. and went upstairs to bed.
