Sombra, former ruler of the Crystal Empire, is now being reformed by Shining Armor and Cadence, under the order of the princesses. The Crystal Couple fail at first, only chipping away at Sombra.

Then he meets a mare.

This mare can hold her own against Sombra, one many things he begins like about her. They meet every night, the mare always standing in the light waiting for him. As they hang out more and more, she begins to sledgehammer her way the evil of Sombra.

Can this mare help him out of the shadows and into the light?
