Pearl and Onyx
Meeting Again
Load Full StoryNext ChapterSombra slept quietly in his cave, laying on his bed of cut crystals. He mumbled in his sleep, some words in English others in Spanish.
"There is he!"
"Get him!"
Sombra stirred a bit, but remained asleep. He heard thundering hooves, but he forced himself to think he was dreaming.
He was then yanked off his bed and being strapped down into a carriage. He tugged and pulled at the restraints, charging a beam of dark magic.
"Sombra! Don't!"
The former crystal king looked up to see Celestia and Luna. He immediately stopped charging his magic, staring at them with his mouth ajar slightly.
"Mi Princesas..."
But Sombra quickly shook off his stupor, charging another blast of dark magic. Celestia and Luna shook their heads, charging their own magic.
"I was hoping we wouldn't have to do this, Sombra."
"But we have to since thou resists to go peacefully."
Sombra growled, pulling on the binds once more in attempt to attack the princesses.
"Peacefully?! You can not except me be peacefully when you have ripped me from rest, mi princesas! Not to mention chaining my body!"
Sombra continued to rant as the sister drew closer, finally touching horns with Sombra. He was still screaming, even as his body started to turn to stone.
"We are sorry, Sombra..."
"But this is the only way."
"What are you brujas talking-"
Sombra's head stoned over before he could finish. When he completely turned to stone, the princesses climbed into the carriage with him. Celestia nodded to the flyers, who took off immediately.
"Will we be successful, sister?"
Celestia brought in for a small hug.
"We can only hope they will help him, Luna."
Luna nodded, snuggling into Celestia's embrace, something she hadn't done in a thousand years.
"Tia has to be right. She's never wrong, even when she sent me to the moon. She did it because she loved me and I was going insane," Luna thought, looking at her older sister.
"I just want my friend back..."
Cadence was walking around in the castle, bored out her mind. She was actually waiting for the princesses, but ran out excuses to do nothing a while ago.
"Where is everyone?"
She wanted to go swimming, but last time she did that, they had buy a personal pool.
"Curse those crystal stallions..."
Cadence groaned and fell muzzle-first onto the heart shaped bed. She mumbled several choice words into the satin sheets.
"For the love of my aunts, let something happen!"
A knock emitted from the door, causing Cadence to jump before trotting over to open it. A crystal guard stood there.
"The princesses are here, your highness."
"Thank you! Yes!"
Cadence turned to see the guard looking confused. She cleared her throat.
"T-thank you."
"Of course...your highness."
The guard trotted away, and when he rounded the corner, Cadence ran full speed toward the balcony.
Luna's ear turned toward the sound of hoofsteps, followed by her head. She smiled to see Cadence, but flinched when saw her speed.
"Easy, Cadenza!"
Luna caught the speed mare with magic, fixing her into a trotting position before let her go.
"Thank you, Aunt Luna."
"Twas nothing, Cadenza."
Cadence turned to Celestia, bouncing like a filly in a candy store.
"So, what did you bring?"
"An old friend."
Cadence nodded eagerly, still bouncing. Celestia nodded to the guards, who began to unload the princess' guest.
Cadence stopped bouncing immediately when she saw who it was.
"S-Sombra?!"
"Yes, Cadence. We need you to-"
Cadence looked into Celestia's eyes, grabbing her crestlock.
"Are you mad at me? Did I do something wrong?"
Once again, Luna levitated Cadence again fixed her into a normal position.
"Listen, Cadenza! We need you to reform him."
Cadence was speechless. The stallion who tried to murder them all was needed to be reformed.
"W-we should probably wait for Shining-"
"Wait for me why?"
"Speak of the handsome devil."
Cadence turned to hug Shining, who hugged back.
"What's the problem, Caddy?"
Celestia walked over and rested a hoof on his shoulder.
"We have a task of the upmost importance for you two."
"Sure! What is it?"
"Reforming Sombra."
Shining went silent and buggy eyed. He looked passed the princesses to see the stone Sombra. The stallion shot up and charged his magic, but Luna and Celestia quickly stood in front of the stone stallion.
"What you doing?"
Instead of answering, the princesses charged their own magic. They threatened to fire, the look in their eyes to Shining that much.
He huffed and let up, as did the defense.
"So you want us to reform that?"
"Yes and though Celestia may be asking..."
Luna stomped on the crystal ground.
"I am not."
Shining and Cadence both took several steps back. They saw tears at the edges of the moon princess' eyes.
"F-fine."
The princesses smiled and hugged them both tightly. They let go and trotted back over to Sombra. They touched horns with him once more, undo the stone spell.
"-About? I am King..."
Sombra involuntarily stretched, giving the princess's enough time to get to the balcony.
"Write if you need anything!"
"Bye!"
With one flap of their wings, the princesses were gone and Sombra was watching them.
"Mi Princesas..."
