Spike went over to the laundry pile, and saw the dirty underwear. Spike hesitated but then got a shovel, picked up the pile, and threw it into the washing machine. Spike saw the underwear all shiny and clean. "Hahahahahahhahahahahah!" laughed Discord. "I don't even WEAR underpants! This got Spike MAD! Spike's nostrils flared and he blew his green fire on Discord, which turned him to dust. But Spike just realized: he burned the page as well! "NOO!" what have I DONE?!" cried Spike. Spike then was teleported into a giant gem wonderland. Rarity was there. She said, "where's my Spikey-wikey?!" Spike said, "Right here!" Rarity walked over to Spike. Rarity went up to Spike's lips and was about to kiss him, when..she turned into a gem?! Spike was so confused at what had happened. He looked around the gem wonderland, and ate a few gems, then forgot about Rarity. He was in paradise. Discord popped up right in front of him, angrily. "You value gems more than FRIENDSHIP?!" said Discord. Spike replied, "No, it's just--" "JUST TERRIBLE! I wouldn't do that myself!" said Discord. Spike grew in size. Spike noticed little wings sprouting out of his back. They grew into large dragon wings. Spike's arms and legs got longer, and his voice became more rough. Spike saw a vision: He saw two scientist ponies next to some kind of artificial purple egg. Wait a second--that's Spike's egg! Spike teleported back home, feeling sad because he thought he was an actual dragon, not a test experiment. The CMC got in the way of Spike's path back home. Sweetie Belle told Spike if he wanted a gem, Apple Bloom said it could get them a gem cutie mark! Spike took the gem and went home. Twilight asked Spike what happened. Spike said he lost the page but got a flashback. He was a test experiment, possibly a failure...or WAS HE? Author's Note Ah, yes. Spike is losing it.
Chapter 3: Spike's DestinyView OnlineA Dragon's TaleChapter 3: Spike's DestinySpike's parents were dragons, or were they ponies? He must know. Twilight said it was in Canterlot Academy, the school she took. Spike and Twilight rushed to Canterlot. Discord got in the way of them. "Spike, I'm sorry." said Discord. "Sorry for what?" said Spike. "THIS!" barked Discord. Spike was turned into an apple, and Twilight was turned into a dragon. "Why, Discord?" said Twilight. "Well, I just thought that if Spike found out his destiny, he would become too powerful, and destroy Equestria! said Discord. Spike said, "Why would I do that?" "Because your destiny is---" replied Discord, until Princess Celestia stopped him from talking. "Don't listen to him!" said Celestia until Discord turned her into a melon. "As I was saying, Spike, your destiny is, ..it's......greed!" yelled Discord. Spike heard the words and then turned back into his dragon form, and started blowing green fire all over Canterlot. Twilight turned back into a pony and ran to Ponyville to warn the ponies. She wondered if Spike actually believed Discord, because greed couldn't be his destiny. Right? Spike's green fire grew stronger the more he destroyed. He grew as well, his arms and legs were long, he had sharp teeth, and his tail became much more curly. Spike said, "I think this really is my destiny! I like destruction and I love gems! This is the LIFE!" "Let's be friends." said Discord. "Ok." replied Spike. The destructive duo raged across Canterlot destroying everything and every pony in their way. The damage caused made Spike grow so big, he was bigger than the whole Canterlot castle! Meanwhile, Twilight told Rarity to go in there and use her generosity to defeat Spike's greed. Rarity accepted the challenge. She went up to Spike who was 10x taller than her by now and said, "Spikey-wikey, would you pwease stowp?" "ROOOOOOOOAAAR!" said Spike and wacked Rarity miles away using his humongous tail. Twilight had to defeat her own creation. She went up to Spike and said, "SPIKE, I CREATED YOU! I BROUGHT YOU TO LIFE WITH MAGIC! THOSE TWO SCIENTISTS WERE THE JUDGES OF MY EXAM! YOU'RE THE CLOSEST TO A SON I EVER HAD!" Spike stopped. He felt like there was a piece of his heart, missing. Discord said, "Spike! Back to work!" "I..I..did this?" said Spike. "I don't want to be greedy! I want to..be..loved." Spike shrunk down back to his previous size, and hugged Twilight and cried. Discord said, "YES! My plan worked! Simulation OVER! That was an awesome fanfiction." "F--fanfiction?, this seems real to me." said Spike. "Well, I don't exactly know what a fanfiction is.." replied Discord. "Celesta was never a melon, those were props." "I used my magic to test your friendship!" said Discord. "Why?" said Twilight Sparkle. "Because....Friendship IS MAGIC!" said Discord with a smile. Chapter 3: Spike's Destiny "Alternate Ending"View OnlineA Dragon's TaleChapter 3: Spike's Destiny "Alternate Ending"This alternate ending is about when Discord & Spike both succeed at destroying Equestria, and this is what would happen: Equestria. Destroyed. Spike & Discord were best pals, they had corrupted the Elements Of Harmony, and turned them into Elements Of Disharmony! Spike & Discord ruled Equestria. 200 years later, A wall-eyed, grey pony had survived the destruction, because she hid underground in a 2-feet hole, and ate muffins for 200 years. Her name was Derpy. She was an Alicorn. How could this be? Derpy used her alicorn magic to imprison both Spike & Discord in stone. Spike's heart was filled with greed, and some pony had to stop him. Derpy then restored the elements of harmony, and used it to create a new Equestria. Derp-Dee-Questria. Derpy had restored the land and spread across Derp-Dee-Questria (let's just call it DDQ from now on) and made a new species. Derp-ponies. Every pony was wall-eyed. Every pony loved muffins. It was a happy ending for Derpy. Or let's say, Princess Derpy. The Mane 6 were both derped as well, and the elements changed into: Muffin, Muffin, Muffin, Muffin, and Muffin. Friendship is...muffins. DDQ was a great world, every pony was forever blessed with muffins.
Chapter 1: Spike's DreamView OnlineA Dragon's TaleChapter 1: Spike's DreamOne faithful morning Spike had woke up, cleaned the library, made Twilight a checklist, ate some gems, and went back to his well-earned nap. In Spike's dream, he could see himself in a mirror, but all grown up, the full package: wings, sharp teeth, and claws. He then looked behind himself. He was standing on a gigantic hoard of gems. Ponies were running around screaming and panicking! "It's the dragon!" screamed one pony. "He'll burn us to dust!" said another. Spike asked them what was wrong, they didn't answer, and they fainted when Spike came near them. Spike felt like he was the reason the ponies where panicking. He saw Rarity locked up in a cage on top of his hoard. Why was she locked in? Could he have something to do with this? He opened the cage and Rarity jumped out, running for her life. Spike starting crying. He wondered what he did wrong. Then, Applejack caught Spike in a lasso and tied him up to a pole. She was holding a tomato, so was every pony else. "Every pony fire on the count of three..1...2...3..." shouting Applejack. As Applejack was about to throw the first tomato, Spike jumped out of bed and woke from his dream. He wondered if Princess Luna was sending a message to Spike to not hoard. Spike had already given up his hoarding a long time ago, why would this dream occur to him now? Spike walked downstairs and told Twilight Sparkle all about his dream. She said it could have been just a dream, but Spike wanted to know what it meant. He wrote a message to Princess Celestia about his dream and used his green fire breath and sent it far away. Celestia told Spike to come over immediately with Twilight Sparkle. Celestia had a book that represented all the destinies of every pony there ever was! But Spike was a dragon, and the princess could not find even a little bit of information. Spike saw a page ripped out of the book. It had a heading; Dragons. The ripped page had drool all over it, as if some pony had ate it. Spike and Twilight Sparkle were both very disappointed. On the way home by Fluttershy's house, Discord was eating some paper on the couch while having tea with Fluttershy. "Why, hello there Twilight!" said Discord kindly." "Hi, Twilight. Hi, Spike" said Fluttershy. "You destroyed the only thing that would help me find out who I am!!" Spike cried out to Discord. "Oh, I haven't eaten that page. I'm saving it for later." replied Discord. "Then hand it over!" shouted Spike. Discord grinned at Spike. "After a few chores, Spike." Discord said. Spike sighed, "Fine." Discord told Spike to get him a glass of water. Spike did that. Discord wanted Spike to clean his ears. Spike did that. Discord wanted Spike to entertain him. Spike did that. Discord wanted Spike to play a game. Spike said "What type of game?" Discord smiled. Author's Note My first FIM fanfiction! Hope you like it!
