Chapters Lay Your World On Me (Edited)
Spike was just sweeping in the Golden Oaks Library, and He was whistling while sweeping. "Twilight!" he called "I'm finished!"
A purple allicorn walked downstairs with a smile on her face. It was Princess Twilight Sparkle with her usual, happy smile on her pretty, adorable face. "Great." she said in her usual cheerful and happy voice.
"So... is there anything else that I could do around here?" asked the baby dragon in an excited voice.
Twilight thought of it for a moment, thinking of anymore chores for little ol' Spike to do for her. "I think i'm fine for now, Spike." she said finally. "Why don't you take the day off?"
"Really?" asked Spike
"Sure. You deserve a break from the hard work you do." Twilight said sweetly while gently patting her number one assistant's head.
"Aw, stop it." Spike giggled.
Twilight giggled and said "Sorry."
"Well... what can I do on my day off?" asked Spike
"I don't know, that's up to you." Twilight answered, unsure of what Spike should do on his day off.
"Yeah, I think I will just go outside, and see what I can do for fun." Spike said
"Okay." Twilight said
"See you in a little while." said Spike before going out the door
"Okay. Oh! and... try not to get lost." said Twilight in her tone of sisterly instincts, and Spike went out the door, but was interrupted when Twilight said "Try and stay clean and... please get home safe-" but she was interrupted by the Baby dragon's annoyance
"Twi." said Spike a little irritated
"Right, sorry." said Twilight, and this time, Spike walked out the door out to Ponyville.
It was beautiful as ever in the small town of Ponyville. The birds were chirping, every-pony was happy. He walked around Ponyville, looking for something fun to do, but he saw nothing in particular. He thought about if any of Twilight's friends such as Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, or Rarity needed any help. Then, he thought of Fluttershy. Fluttershy, was somepony special to Spike. Sure, Rarity is his crush, but she treated him with great respect, and thought that he was the cutest thing she has ever seen.
Spike's smile had grown to a frown. "Why hasn't Fluttershy paid attention to me more?" He said out loud to himself. "Nah, who am I kidding." He said with disbelief. "I'm pretty sure she still likes me." The baby dragon saw a male pegasus hugging his little brother, and it made Spike think "Why hasn't Fluttershy ever hug me like that before?" The feelings got a little more deep, and he felt like Fluttershy shuns him, and doesn't pay attention to him enough. He had memories where Fluttershy, what Spike thought hasn't been knot icing him at all. It began to hurt him.
"Hey Spike?" Said the pegasus brother with his little brother next to him. "You okay?" He said. It was Thunderlane, and his little brother, Rumble.
"Oh, h- hey, Thunderlane." Said Spike. "I'm fine."
"Are you sure?" Asked Rumble with concern.
"Of course, Rumble." Spike answered. "Why do you ask?"
"Well, you look a little down in the dumps, like something's bothering you." Said Thunderlane
"Oh no no no no no, I was just thinking." Spike lied
"About what?" Asked the younger brother of Thunderlane.
"Well.... I was just thinking about... About... How they make good cupcakes at Sugarcube Corner." Said Spike
"Oh, I see." Said Rumble, falling to for the baby dragon's little fib.
"I hear you, Spike" said Thunderlane, also falling for the fib.
"I just need some time alone." Said Spike.
"I understand." Said Thunderlane. "Come one, Rumble."
"Coming, big brother." Said Rumble on his cheery kid voice.
Spike looked at every-pony that might ask Spike what his problem was, so he decided to walk in the wilderness to think things over without any-pony bothering him about it, and asking him questions involving him and Fluttershy
Just Outside of Ponyville.
Spike was looking for a place to relax on. He wasn't far from Ponyville, but it was still tiring for him to walk like this. Finally, he found a large tree with a wide trunk. He decided to rest there for a little while. Now, Spike was thinking of What would happen When he says hello to her. He thought of her shouting at him In response, and shooing him away.
"Fluttershy," said Spike under his breath. All of a sudden a few tears formed In his eyes. "Why don't you love me anymore. He realized that Fluttershy or so what he thinks of course, hates him now, and think of him as an annoying pest since, she doesn't pay enough attention to him Since the day that he and Twilight first came to Ponyville. Now, Spike was thinking that Fluttershy thinks of hi. As an annoying insect instead of an animal now. He buried his face in Between his legs and began to sob.
But, little did he notice was that he was not alone in this wide open area outside of Ponyville.
Fluttershy was just picking some Flowers for herself and Angel Bunny too, with a basket ties to her left side. "La la la la la." She sang in her beautiful voice. All of a sudden, she saw Spike sobbing in misery under a tree. She took the flower basket off of her, and sat it next to the spot that she was picking flowers off of.
Spike was still sobbing when all of a sudden, he stopped by a soft, kind, and gentle voice that he knew all too well.
"Spike?" Said Fluttershy, who sat in front of Spike with a worried look on her face. "What's wrong?"
"N-nothing, Fluttershy. I... I'm fine." Spike lied with a few choking sobs. He turned himself away from Fluttershy so that she wouldn't see him crying, but she gently turned him back over.
"Oh, Spike. There is nothing to be ashamed of." Said Fluttershy softly in her motherly voice. "You don't have to hide your tears from me."
Spike couldn't lie any longer, even to a very kind and sweet pony like Fluttershy is. "Okay, I'll tell you." He said. "I... I...I..." He was a little hesitant to say what his problem was
"Yes?" Asked Flutter softly
"I'm worried that..." And Spike began to chock on his sobbing, but he said "i'm worried that you don't love me anymore." he said finally, and then he turned away from Fluttershy again.
Fluttershy gasped at what he just said. "What??" She said with in a shocking but soft voice. "Why would you think that?" She said in sympathy.
Spike choked on another few sobs, but despite that, he said "because on the day we first meet, you were... All over me, and now you... Hardly pay attention to me now, and think of me as a normal everyday baby dragon that doesn't interest you anymore." and then he began sobbing into his legs again
Fluttershy gave a look of surprise. She felt like she was about to shed tears now because she feels really guilty about not paying attention to him enough lately. She turned Spike around gently again, and gently pulled him into a very caring hug, and held him in a cradle like position, like an infant. "Shh.. sh, sh, sh. It's okay." she said very motherly. "Don't cry." She slowly rocked him a few times "That's not true."
Spike stopped his sobbing, and said "It's not?" and then he sniffed
"Of course not." said Fluttershy sweetly. "I just thought that you wouldn't like it if I called you adorable, and that it would make you mad. I'm sorry if you feel this way."
"It's.... it's okay." said Spike. "I just wished that You would pay attention to me more. That's all. And... and... I just want to spend some time with you, like something fun."
Fluttershy hugged him again, patting him gently on his back. "I love you Spike, with all my heart. Don't you ever think otherwise. You are the cutest little baby dragon I know." and the she gave him a kiss on the forehead, while breaking her hug with him
"Really?" said Spike
"Really." Fluttershy replied sweetly. She had an idea and then she softly asked him "Would you like to stay with me, in my cottage for a little while?"
Spike looked up with surprise and said "Really?"
"Of course, Spikey-Whikey." said Fluttershy. "Let me take you home, and I'll talk to Twilight if it's okay with her if you can stay with me."
Spike gave a little smile and he sniveled "Thanks."
Fluttershy smiled down at him and said "You're welcome. Come on, let me take you to my home." She knelt down and asked "Would you like to ride on my back?"
Spike thought of it, and said "Sure." and then she slowly climbed on her back. Fluttershy then walked her way back to her cottage, while carrying her basket of flowers with her mouth. What's even more good is that her cottage was only a short walk from the fields.
Fluttershy's cottage
The cottage was just the same as ever, peaceful with the animals inhabiting in and out of if. Many species of birds were chirping, many animals were having random conversations. When they saw Fluttershy, they grew excited to see her back from picking flowers, and see he smiling face. She went into the cottage, and greeted many of her animal friends. Angel Bunny, her rabbit, came downstairs, happy to see her.
"Hello, Angel." said Fluttershy. "Did you do okay by yourself and the critters today?"
Angel nodded a yes. Angel looked at Spike, and his face changed from happy to scornful.
Spike looked at him with annoyance and said "Hello, Angel."
The rabbit just blew a small raspberry at him, then turned away from Fluttershy and the baby dragon.
"Angel! Be nice to him!" she scolded. "Spike's just going to stay with us for a little while."
Angel gave a little gasp of shock, and nod at her a "No" very rapidly. Fluttershy gave him a stern look, and gave him "The Stare"
"Be nice to him while he stays here. If you are mean to him when he stays here, then no extra lunch time for a month." said Fluttershy sternly "Do you understand me?"
Angel was scared of Fluttershy because of her stare, but he reluctantly nodded a yes.
"Good." said Fluttershy in her now happy voice. She knelt down so Spike would get down from her. "I'll be right back, my friends." she announced. "I'm just going to go talk to Twilight if Spike can stay here for a while.
The animals, minus Angel gave sounds of happiness, and excitement.
"I'll be right back, Spike." Fluttershy said to the baby dragon
"Okay. take your time." Spike replied. As soon as Fluttershy left the door, many animals crowded around Spike, happy to see him. The baby dragon felt himself being licked by a few animals.
Golden Oaks Library
Fluttershy knocked on Twilight's door. It opened and showed the purple allicorn with her smiling face. "Oh hello, Fluttershy." said Twilight
"Hello, Twilight." said Fluttershy a little melancholy.
"What's the matter, Fluttershy?" asked Twilight a little concerned.
"I want to talk to you." Fluttershy answered.
"Of course, come right in." said Twilight, moving aside for her friend to come in. "So what do you want to talk about?"
"Spike."
"What's wrong with him?" asked Twilight with concern
"He's worried that I don't love him anymore, because I haven't been paying enough attention to him lately." Fluttershy answered.
Twilight gave a little look of guilt and said "This is my fault."
"Why your fault?" asked Fluttershy
"I kept him away from you when me and him first moved to Ponyville. I'm to blame." said Twilight with guilt.
"Don't be so hard on yourself, Twilight." said Fluttershy kindly. "You were just trying to warn us about Nightmare Moon's return that day."
"I know."
"So, can Spike stay with me for a little while. I want him to be happy. When I saw him earlier, he was crying." said Fluttershy
Twilight thought of what she said "Of course he can stay with you."
"Really?" said Fluttershy in an excited voice
"Of course. If he was crying, then I want to make him feel happy. I would hate to see him cry like this as much as you would." said Twilight
"What about any chore?" asked Fluttershy.
"Don't worry, I'll do them" said Twilight. "I want him to be happy too."
"Oh, Thank you Twilight." said Fluttershy in an excited voice.
"You're welcome. But please, make him feel happy."
"I will." Fluttershy replied. "I'll see you later." she said as she went out the door.
"Bye, Fluttershy." Twilight called before closing the door, and then she went back to her reading.
Back at Fluttershy's cottage
Fluttershy came back home to see Spike just sitting and relaxing on a chair. "I'm back." she said
"What did Twilight say?" asked the baby dragon a little eager.
"She said it was okay." Fluttershy answered.
"Yes!" Spike exclaimed with happiness, and he jumped with excitement. "Soooo.... what should we do right now?"
"Well.... we can have a tea party, or tell each-other stories." Fluttershy suggested. "But, Spike... I wanna tell you something about how I feel."
"What's that?"
Fluttershy cleared her throat, and she sung:

After she finished, Spike felt a few tears running down his face. He was touched to here those words come out of Fluttershy's mouth. "You really mean that?"
"Of course I do." said Fluttershy. "I love you Spikey-whikey." then she gave him another kiss on the forehead. "Let me get ourselves some tea,: she said going to her kitchen. This sounds like Spike and Fluttershy will be having a good time together

Some More Flower picking/Settling In (Edited)
"Would you like some more tea, Spike?" asked Fluttershy. She and the baby dragon were just sitting at the small table downstairs of the cottage. Drinking some of Zecora's famous Zebrican tea. They have been doing this for at least fifteen minutes.
"Of course." Spike Replied like a gentleman. He reached his small cup over to Fluttershy, and she poured the spout of tea right over the cup. "Thanks, Fluttershy." said Spike.
The yellow pegasus smiled at him and said very kindly "You're welcome, Spike." and then she sat the spout back on her table.
After Spike was finished with his drink, he asked Fluttershy "So... what shall we do today?"
Fluttershy thought about it and said to him in reply "What do you want to do? I think you should decide."
Spike now thought of it, and said "Do you think... maybe I can pick some flowers with you? I mean... when you saw me earlier, I interrupted your flower picking." He bowed his head with a little guilt on his face. "Sorry if i was bothering you." He said with a sad sigh
Fluttershy gave him a sympathetic smile and said "It's okay, Spike. You don't have anything to be sorry about. Of course we can pick some flowers."
The baby dragon smiled and said "Great."
"Oh, Spike. I almost forgot." said Fluttershy. "Me and my critter friends were planning a picnic. Would you like to join us?"
"Of course." Spike replied.
"Let me go get the baskets." said Fluttershy. She got up and grabbed the two flower baskets; one for her and one for the baby dragon. "Don't worry, my friends." said Fluttershy to her critter friends. "We'll be back in a little while." She looked at Angel and she told him "Please stay out of trouble."
Angel nodded his head an "Okay" to her and Fluttershy smiled at him.
"Let's go, Spike." she said to the baby dragon. Spike followed her out the front door with the small flower basket in his hand, and then closed the front door.
At the fields not far from Fluttershy's cottage
Spike was picking a few chrysanthemums while Fluttershy was picking a few daisies. Spike put the last batch of Chrysanthemums in his basket, and looked at Fluttershy. Her back was turned to him while she was busy picking the daisies. Spike's cheeks began to turn red to See Fluttershy's beautiful ass. Her beaufitul humming and singing was making the baby dragon blush even more. He turned away from her, nodded his head out of his little dirty thought and said under his breath "What am I thinking. I love Rarity!"
"Spike?" said Fluttershy who noticed him scolding himself quietly "Are you alright?"
"Oh, I'm fine." said Spike
"Are you sure?" asked Fluttershy with concern.
"I'm alright. I promise." said Spike
"Okay." said Fluttershy. "I'm just checking on you."
"I know." Spike said, and then he resumed his flower picking "Whew. That was a close one." He thought to himself. All of sudden, he felt Fluttershy gently patting his back. The baby dragon turned around to see the yellow pegasus holding a large yellow daisy in her hoof.
"Spike?" said Fluttershy with a smile on her face
"Yeah?"
"I want you to have this." Fluttershy replied.
Spike gasped and said "For me?"
"Of course, silly." said Fluttershy kindly. As Spike took the flower, Fluttershy said to him "Listen, I feel really guilty about not paying enough attention to you, and... I want you to be happy." She bent down, and gave Spike another caring kiss, but this time, on his cheek. The baby dragon blushed and rubbed the back of his head.
"Thanks." Spike said
Fluttershy giggled and said "You're welcome, Spike. Glad you like it. You- you do like it, do you?" she was a little unsure if Spike liked it or not.
"Of course, Fluttershy. I love it." Spike replied.
"Good." said the yellow pegasus in relief.
"This flower is really beautiful." Spike said with honesty.
"Thanks."
The two continued to look at some flowers for quite some time. They also looked at many adorable insects like ladybugs, ants and other types of insects. After a little while. they decided to have enough, and went back home to the cottage.
Back At the Cottage
Fluttershy and Spike were still carrying their flower baskets, which has quite some flowers in them. Fluttershy opened the door and saw many of her critter friends just relaxing, that is, until She and Spike came back. Many critters crowded around Fluttershy, very happy to see her.
The yellow pegasus giggled as she was feeling many noses rubbing her legs, like they were slightly tickling her. "I know, I know." said Flutterhy. " I'm so happy to see all of you too." She rubbed a couple of animal head, and she went to put her basket away, as did Spike. "I'm going to get the picnic basket." Fluttershy said to the baby dragon.
"We just got home." said Spike teasingly.
Fluttershy laughed and said "I know, but I forgot to tell you that we're having a picnic at the back of the cottage."
"Oh. I see." Spike said, and he sat on the couch, waiting for Fluttershy with a picnic basket.
"Okay, Spike." said Fluttershy. "We're ready." Spike looked back, and saw many critters behind Fluttershy, including, Harry the bear, and of course, Angel, who gave Spike his usual dirty look. The baby dragon however, just ignored him, because he knows that Fluttershy will be with him too, and he knows that Harry is a very gentle brown bear.
Spike then followed Fluttershy to the back of the cottage. They found a good spot to have lunch, and Fluttershy placed the picnic quilt on the nice, soft grass. The yellow pegasus mare got out a bottle of hay juice, and a few cups for everypony to drink from. She gave a cup to Spike first, and then her animal friends. She however, saw Spike thinking about something.
"She looked so beautiful"l Spike thought. I know I love Rarity, but... I do think Fluttershy is the most beautiful mare I have ever seen."
"Spike?" Said Fluttershy. "Something wrong?"
"Oh! Sorry, Fluttershy. I was- just thinking." Spike said out of his thoughts
"What were you thinking about?" asked Fluttershy with concern.
"I was thinking.... about how Twilight would be if I wasn't there to do my chores." Spike lied to her
"Oh, you don't have to worry about that, Spike." said Fluttershy sweetly. "She said not to worry about it, and that she will do it."
"Good." Spike said.
Fluttershy smiled at him, and handed Spike a plate that had a bread slice with marmalade on it, and a small hayburger for him. "Here you go, Spike." said Fluttershy kindly
"Thanks." Spike said, and then he ate his food. Fluttershy then handed a plates to her animals, Harry and Angel were the first ones. Many plates for the animals had many types of food, like Harry had a trout, and Angel had many vegetables mixed together on his plate. The other animals varied, mostly by nuts, Fruits, vegetables, and cheese.
After a few minutes, Spike ate all of his food, and gave out a burp. He closed his mouth with surprise, and said "Excuse me."
Fluttershy giggled and said "You're excused." She looked at his plate and was surprised by how fast he had eaten his lunch. "You were really hungry, weren't you, Spike?"
"Hm-mm." Spike replied patting his stomach. "I'm stuffed."
Fluttershy smiled and then formed a frown
"What's wrong, Fluttershy?" asked Spike
"Well... I just want you to be happy, and... you seem a bit worried about something." Fluttershy replied. "Are you sure you're alright?" she asked him once again
"I told you. Of course I'm alright." Spike replied. "I'm not lying. I promise." Ironically, Spike was lying about what he is saying.
"I'm just checking, because I care about you." said Fluttershy.
"I know, it's fine." Spike said.
"You know... maybe since you are here... would you like to come with me for some errands one of these days?" Fluttershy asked timidly
"Of course. What kind of errands?" Spike asked
"You know, food for the animals, and for me." Fluttershy answered. "Oh, and... would you like to... come to the spa with me sometime?" she asked in suggestion
"Sure."
The animals and Fluttershy continued to eat while Spike sat on the quilt, looking around him.

The evening came, Spike and Fluttershy were telling eachother fairy tales. Spike however, was trying to be careful on his stories and made sure they weren't scary, because he knows that Fluttershy is a very sensitive mare, and he worried that even the story is the least scariest, it would make her cry.
After they were finished, Fluttershy looked at her clock, and saw that it was 9:15pm. "Oh! It's getting late."
"Aw, but I'm not tired." Spike said. However, when he yawned he told Fluttershy differently.
"I think a certain baby dragon needs to sleep in his snuggly-wuggly little bed." Fluttershy teased while gently ruffing his head
"Stop that." Spike chuckled. "Okay okay, I admit it. I'm tired." He rubbed his eyes so he wouldn't be so drowsy.
"That's alright, Spike." Fluttershy said. " so where would you like to sleep?"
Spike thought of it, and said "Can... Can.... Can I sleep with you?" Spike said finally.
Fluttershy smiled at him and said "Of course you can sleep with me, Spike. Let me tuck my critter friends in first, and then we'll go to bed."
"You do that." Said Spike. Fluttershy than went to many of her animals beds, leaving Spike alone of the couch for a moment. What Spike said about him being alright, and how he was worried about Twilight; they were all lies. Spike hated lying, but he worries that Fluttershy figures out his... Feelings for her, then she will kick him out of the house. It was bad enough that Rarity rejected him many times, but he doesn't want to let Fluttershy think he is annoying. He really cared about Fluttershy, and thought that she is the sweetest mare he has met,
After a little while, Fluttershy came back, and said "time for bed." And then she went up stairs with Spike following behind her
Spike got himself in bed, and asked Fluttershy unexpectedly "Fluttershy?"
"Yes?"
"Can you..." Spike gulped and said "tuck me in?"
"Sure." Fluttershy said sweetly with her smile. She grabbed Spike's covers, and laid them on his small body, leaving his head exposed. She bent her head, and gave Spike a goodnight kiss on his forehead,"I love you, Spike." She said softly.
Spike smiled slightly, and replied "I love you too, Fluttershy." In his head he was thinking what did I just say that for?"
however, she heard Fluttershy "Aww, that's sweet." And then gave him another motherly kiss; time on his cheek. "Goodnight." Said Fluttershy. Finally, Spike couldn't take it any longer, and then fell asleep right on the spot.
Fluttershy looked at him and Smiled down at him. "Sweet dreams." She whispered in his ear, and then she fell asleep, thirty minutes later

The next morning, the sun of Celestia was shining so brightly down onto all of Equestria. Fluttershy woke up with a cute yawn, and saw Spike sleeping so peacefully under the pegasus' warm and soft covers. She smiled very warmly at the way he looks and she thought "Aw, so cute." She gently rubbed his small body with her hoof, and whispered very softly "Spiiiikkkkkeeee."
The baby dragon began to stir, and sighed. He slowly stood up, stretched his hands into the air, and gave out a yawn while rubbing his eyes.
"Good morning, Spike." said Fluttershy softly
"Good morning, Fluttershy." Spike replied in a groggy tone of voice.
"Did you sleep well?" asked Fluttershy.
"Yep." Spike said, now in a less groggy voice. He gave out another quiet yawn
"Good." Fluttershy said. "So.... what would you like to do today?" she asked very softly. "What ever one you chose is perfectly alright with me."
"Ummmm.... I don't know if I wanna actually go anywhere, I mean, I just wanna relax right now. And, besides, I just got here yesterday." Spike answered
Fluttershy smiled and said "That's fine. Whatever makes you happy."
Spike then felt a stain on Fluttershy's bed, and it was at the direction right were the tip of his dragonhood was when he was sleeping last night. The stain had a bit of white on it. He looked shocked and horrified to see that he thought to have wet the bed. "Oh no." he said under his breath.
"Spike, what's wrong?" asked Fluttershy
"Oh, nothing." Spike lied.
"Are you sure?"
"Uh huh."
"Okay. I'm just making sure." Said Fluttershy. "I'm just going to take a shower." She said as she sat up.
"That's fine." Said Spike. "You do that."
Fluttershy smiled at him and went to her bathroom. After she closed the door when she went in, Spike gave a sigh of relief.
"That was close." He said out loud to himself. "Super close." He decided to get up and went downstairs. He sat on Fluttershy's couch, and looked at the animals waving at him a "good morning", Well that is, except for Angel of course. The baby dragon waved at them too, and thought of Fluttershy again. "She looks so beautiful." Spike thought. "Ah! What am I saying? I'm in love with Rarity." He had another thought that said "Rarity doesn't even like you back. Fluttershy is very sweet and you should tell her how you feel, because she really likes you."
Listening to his conscience, he was thinking about if he should tell Fluttershy his feelings for her, or not. He thought that Fluttershy would be touched, but on the other hoof, she would react horribly, and lock him out of her cottage.
"No. No. " Spike said to himself. "She can't find out."
"Find out what?" said Fluttershy from behind him. The baby dragon made a small yelp of surprise and looked back to her. "Sorry, i- i- i didn't mean to scare you." said Fluttershy
"No, it's fine." said Spike.
"Spike, please tell me. What's the matter?" said Fluttershy. "You've- you have been acting a little worried about something, and I want to help you."
Spike could stand it no longer. Fluttershy was becoming more and more curious for his little secret. He gave a little sigh and said timidly "Fluttershy?"
"Yes?"
"You do care about me, right?" the baby dragon asked
"Of course." said Fluttershy very sweetly. "Why do you ask?" she asked in a tone of concern this time
"Well, the truth is I.... I..." Spike was trying to admit his thoughts, but was having a difficult time trying to explain.
"Yes?"
"I... I... I love you. I really love you." he admitted. "Yeah, I have a crush on Rarity, but she treats me just like a friend, but..." "It's perfect!" Spike exclaimed. "Do you have any roses?"
"Of course, let me go get them." said Rarity. She went into her room, and went back downstairs carrying a bouquet of roses with her magic. "Voila."
"Great!" said Spike. "I hope Fluttershy will love these." Spike said very doubtful. He felt his chin being touched by Rarity's soft hoof.
"Of course, she will love them, sweetie. I know it." said Rarity.
Spike smiled at her, well, I might as well be off then, and then opened the front door of the botique.
"Would you like anything else before you leave?" Rarity asked "Like some tea for you?"

It was nighttime and Luna's full moon was shining down upon Ponyville and its surroundings, especially Fluttershy's cottage in the outskirts of town. Her relationship with Spike became stronger since Spike gave her an emerald and a bouquet of roses for her just earlier today. She loved the gifts, and she was very touched by them. Right now, Spike was enjoying a bedtime story from Fluttershy called: "The Mare Bride", and he enjoyed it very much.
"The End." said Fluttershy, closing her book, ending the tale she read to Spike.
"Wow. Awesome story." said Spike.
Fluttershy giggled at his comment. "I knew you would enjoy it." she teased. She then put the book away, turned out the light, and tucked herself in. "I hope you didn't mind the kissing, did you?"
"Not at all." Spike said. "I loved it!"
Fluttershy smiled at his response. "I'm glad to hear that. " she said happily.
"Fluttershy?" Spike said as he suddenly sat up on the bed.

The yellow pegasus smiled warmly at him, and said "Sounds wonderful. Fluttershy gave. Spike a tender goodnight kiss on his lips. "Goodnight, Spike. " she said very softy.
"Goodnight, Fluttershy. " Spike said with a yawn before falling asleep like baby.
The yellow pegasus smiled at him as he was sleeping. She pulled him close to her and wrapped her arm around him."Sweet dreams." She whispered as she fell asleep too.
The Next Morning
Fluttershy was holding Spike as she slept, both of them softly snoring. The yellow pegasus then woke up, letting go of Spike while he was still sleeping. With a very cute yawn, and rubbed her eyes, she looked at Spike, sleeping so peacefully. She smiled warmly as he was sleeping. She gently rubbed his small body around to wake him up. The baby dragon began to stir, and slowly sat up, stretching his arms with a yawn.
"Did you sleep well, Spikey-Whikey?" Fluttershy teasingly whispered
"Y-yeah." said Spike while rubbing his eyes, and looking at Fluttershy. "And how about you?" he asked her.
"I slept perfectly." Fluttershy responded as she got out of bed. Spike got out of bed with her, and he stretched himself. "So, I forgot to ask you last night: When should we have our date?" Fluttershy asked
Spike thought about it, and responded. "How about later on in the evening. Does that sound good to you? I mean... if it isn't, I can postpone it for you if you like." The baby dragon didn't want to sound to pushy, and wanted Fluttershy to be as happy as he is with their relationship.
"Oh, Spikey. Don't be silly." said Fluttershy, walking up to him with a warm smile. "Of course it sounds good." She bent down, and gave him another kiss on his cheek, making him blush.
"Okay." Spike said. "It's a date."
"Wonderful." Fluttershy said happily. "Would you like me to make you some breakfast?"
"Yeah, um.... can I have a dandelion sandwich?" Spike asked.
"Of course. Coming right up." Fluttershy went downstairs to fetch Spike his breakfast of choice on this morning. Spike followed after her downstairs into the living room, and sat on the small table on her carpet, waiting for the breakfast to come. He wondered if Fluttershy would like this little date that he just thought of. "Do you think she will like this?" he thought in his head. Out loud, he said under his breath, "Ah who am I kidding, of course she will?"
"What was that?" Fluttershy said, briefly hearing what Spike just said under his breath.
"Nothing." Spike answered while nodding his head sideways. "I was just thinking of something out loud to Myself."
"Oh, okay."
Fluttershy put Spike's breakfast on his plate, and flew above the ground while holding the plate with her forehooves, and gently sat the plate on the table where Spike was. "Here you go."
Spike licked his lips just looking at the sandwich. It looked absolutely delicious, then, he dug himself in, eating the breakfast under a short thirty seconds. After he was finished, he gave out a loud burp while patting his belly like a pair of bongos. "Excuse me." He said, covering his mouth as he caught himself burping inappropriately.
"It's okay." Said Fluttershy after she gave a small giggle. She sat down on the couch, and she patted on the mattress next to her. "Come sit with me, Spike." She said
"Okay. Just let me put this away." Spike said. He got out of his chair and put his plate in the kitchen sink. After that, he took a seat next to Fluttershy, like she asked him, and made himself comfortable. "So, what would you like to wear on our date?" He asked sheepishly.
"I don't think I will we anything fancy. After all, it's just a little outing together." Fluttershy modestly admitted.
"You know what, I was thinking the same thing about how I should dress tonight. You're right; it is just an outing. "
Before they could say anything else, somepony knocked on Fluttershy's door."I will be back, Spike. " said the yellow pegasus before she answered the door. It was Twilight with a smile on her face, happy to see Fluttershy. "Hello, Twilight. " said Fluttershy kindly.
"Hello, Fluttershy." Twilight said back to her. "What brings you here?"
"I just came to check up on Spike to see how he's doing. " said Twilight. She looked through the yellow pegasus and saw Spike sitting on the couch. It was good for her to see Spike's adorable smiling face once again. "Hi Spike" she said.
"Hey, Twilight." Spike said back to her.
"Are you feeling any better?" The purple allicorn asked him in a sisterly voice.
"Yeah. I'm feeling a lot better. "
Twilight smiled at that. "I'm so glad to hear that." She said. "So what have you two been doing? "
Fluttershy and Spike looked at each other, and were silent for a moment until finally, Fluttershy answered her by saying "listen Twilight; we're friends, right? "
"If course we are. Why do you ask?" Said Twilight
Spike stepped up and said "well, Twilight. Me and Fluttershy are... well..." However Twilight interrupted him unexpectedly.
"You guys are in love. I know." Twilight said happily.
Fluttershy and Spike looked surprised to see that Twilight knows their relationship already. "Yeah. How did you know that?" Spike asked.
"Rarity told me last night." Twilight answered.
"Oh, well... Twilight... you... you don't mind..." Spike felt really awkward after hearing that Rarity told her about him and Fluttershy.
"What he's trying to say, Twilight, are you happy for us?" Fluttershy asked, filling in for Spike when he couldn't finish the sentence himself.
"Of course I am." Twilight said. "I am very happy for you two." She bent down make appropriate eye contact with Spike. "I always had a feeling that you two were perfect as a pair. So no, I am perfectly fine with this as long as you are both happy."
"We are" said both Fluttershy and Spike in unison, wrapping their arms around eachother to show their affections.
"Well, I might as well be going now. Oh, and Spike; If you ever feel like you want to come back, please don't hesitate." Said Twilight.
"Okay." Spike replied.
"See you later." Twilight called as she left the front door and close it, leaving the two lovebirds alone with the animals in the cottage.
The two looked at eachother. "So... what would you like to do now?" asked Fluttershy.
Spike sniffed his armpit, and gave a look of disgust, sticking his tongue out in response to his body odor. "I need a shower." he said
"I could use one too." Said Fluttershy.
"Would you like to help me feed your animal friends?"
"Oh yes. That would be nice." Fluttershy replied.
The baby dragon headed upstairs into Fluttershy's bathroom to take a shower, and Fluttershy waited on the couch.
Later that evening
It was time for their date. Fluttershy and Spike both decided that it was going to be a normal date, as in: no need for any fancy get-ups. It is going to be a normal, not so special date. Meanwhile, Spike was waiting patiently on the couch for Fluttershy to come down so they can go. Finally, he heard footsteps, and a grin showed on his face.
"I'm ready." said Fluttershy as she was walking down the stairs. "You ready to go?"
"Yep." Spike said, very excited. He got off the couch and got on Fluttershy's back to ride.
Fluttershy and Spike arrived at the cafe in Ponyville, there were tables both outside, and inside the building. Surprisingly, there wasn't that many customers there-- fifteen customers to be exact. It was probably a good thing, because less people would equal less waiting for any food for these two lovebirds will have on this night.
"Where would you like to sit?" asked Spike.
Fluttershy thought of it for a moment, and replied "How about we eat outside." She moved her face to Spike's, and whispered with a seductively look "It's more romantic out here."
The baby dragon's cheeks blushed from her comment.They looked around for a good spot, and found one in the center, getting themselves comfortable. They waited for about thirty seconds, until finally, a waitress named White Iris came. "Hello." She said "how may I help you."
Spike was the first to speak. "I would like a... Zesty cucumber sandwich, s'il vous plait."
White Iris smiled at him. "With pleasure." She turned her attention to Fluttershy now. "And what might you like to have?"
"What he will have." The yellow pegasus answered.
"Very well." Said the white unicorn waitress. She left the two alone, and they waited for their food. It took a long ten minutes, but White Iris came with their orders, looking delicious. "Here you are." She said as she sat the plates down on the table with her magic.
Spike and Fluttershy dug in their food, and White Iris let them be.
They had a very good dinner together on this date. Right now, Spike and Fluttershy were in the pastures, not far from the cottage, or Ponyville. They looked and gazed at the stars on awe. Fluttershy kept Spike warm with her wing. It was dark, yes, but thanks to the full moon, it feels like a light.
"Thanks for taking me out tonight, Spike." Said Fluttershy.
"Ah, no problem" Spike bragged.
The lovebirds continued to look at the sky and it's beauty. It was silent in the night, except for the sound of crickets chirping, and birds singing. "It's so beautiful out here." Said Fluttershy in awe.
"I know." Spike agreed.
Fluttershy then thought of something. "Spike?" She said in a seductive voice. She had a sly yet cute expression on her face. "Would you like me to make even more romantic for you?"
"I have no idea how, but... Okay." Spike said obliviously. Just then, he felt himself being pushed and Flutter held his lips in a kissing position while she was making out with him on the spot. The baby dragon gave into the feeling shortly, and kissed her.
The two continued to make out and kiss under the full moonlight.

Thunderstorming/Indoor Camping (Edited)
The swimming lake on the outskirts of Ponyville was beautiful, even in the nighttime. The waters were glistening and sparkling from the moonlight mirroring from it. The moon was also very beautiful. Fluttershy and Spike however, weren't going to go swimming in it, no, they were going to just have a look at it's beauty. They looked at it for a long time, and the sparkling waters were making them daydream into la-la land.
"Isn't it beautiful?" Said Fluttershy dreamily
"Yeah. It's... It's so cool." Spike replied, also dreamily. "We should do this more often sometime."
"Yeah. I know." Said the pegasus. After they were done talking, there was no sound at all minus the nature sounds of crickets chirping and the moving lake waters around them. Without thinking, the two lovebirds made out u der the moonlight again, with a little french kissing as well. They both moaned in pleasure as they were kissing for a long period of time. Finally, they stopped, both blushing crimson red on their cheeks.
"The felt good." Spike said, rubbing the back of his head
Fluttershy giggled. "It was wonderful." She said in agreement.
"So... Fluttershy?" Spike said
"Yes, Spikey-Whikey?" said Fluttershy softly.
"Do you... think that Twilight really is happy for us?" Spike asked, a little worried about something.
Fluttershy's smile slowly turned into a frown after Spike asked her that specific question. "Of course she is, silly." she replied. "Why wouldn't she be? She sounded pretty happy for us to me."
"Yeah. But.. what if she's lying?" Spike asked. "I mean... i know she SAID that she was happy, but... what if she was hiding her true feelings about this?"
"Oh, Spike." said Fluttershy. She gently pulled Spike closed to her, wrapping her arm around his small body. "I have known Twilight for a long time, and she is a very understanding pony. I am pretty sure she is happy."
Spike thought about Fluttershy's summarizing, and maybe Twilight was telling the truth after all, and not just said that as words of honey. "You're right." he said with a smirk.
"Do you feel better?" Fluttershy asked, happy to see that smile on the baby dragon's face.
"Yeah. I do." Was all Spike replied. Spike then gave a little yawn, and stretched his arms out into the air. He must have been making out with Fluttershy under the moonlight so much, he's already used so much strength to satisfy himself and his soul.
Fluttershy looked at the baby dragon, and giggled "ready to go back?" She asked
"Uh-huh." Spike replied with another yawn. "I'm ready."
"Here." Said Fluttershy, "let me carry you." She gently scooped up Spike on her back and made her way back to her cottage. For she was getting tired and ready to hit the sack herself.
The Next Morning
Spike awoke from Fluttershy's bed first this time, and yawned as he got up. All of a sudden, there was a loud thunderclap. It woke up Fluttershy with a fright, and made her jump with a small, cute scream. The baby dragon also yelped with a startle and he and Fluttershy hugged eachother, scared to hear what that was.
"What was that?" Spike exclaimed. The two looked out the window, and saw that it was really cloudy outside, and it was raining, almost like a monsoon or a typhoon.
"Oh no." Said Fluttershy, realizing what was happening. "No another thunderstorm." She hid under her bed for cover, shaking while covering her face.
Spike got out of bed and joined Fluttershy under it, concerned what her little stunt was all about. "Shy?" said Spike. "Are you... okay?"
"N- not exactly." said Fluttershy uncovering her face, still shaking a little, and then she covered her face with terror again. "I... i... I'm a little scared of thunderstorms." she admitted with a little shame.
Spike smiled at her, and gently patted her for comfort. "We all have that kind of fear sometimes."
"But... I'm afraid of a lot of things." Said Fluttershy. "A scaredy cat and a coward."
"No you're not." Said Spike softly. "You're just being you. We never think any less of you. Besides, there is nothing you could possibly do to tell me otherwise." The baby dragon hugged Fluttershy tightly. "Don't worry, Fluttershy. I will always be right here with you."
Fluttershy was touched. "Oh Spike." She said "that's so sweet." She got out from under her bed, with Spike being pulled by her, and she hugged him while she was hovering, really tightly. She gave him a huge kiss on his lips, making him blush. "I love you."
The baby dragon smiled and replied "I love you too, Fluttershy." He then hugged the yellow pegasus back. "So... Should I help you build a shelter for all your critter friends to take shelter from the rain?"
When Fluttershy gently sat him down after they broke their hug, she replied. "Oh, they won't mind the rain. They're pretty use to it."
"Okay." Spike replied. "Would you like me to... Make you some breakfast?" He asked after that.
"Oh no. You can just relax while I get food myself." Fluttershy answered sweetly.
Spike smiled back at her. "That's cool. And... If you want... I can... Close the shades so you don't have to see the lightning outside." He suggested
"Thank you, Spike." Fluttershy replied. "I appreciate it."
"You're welcome, Fluttershy." Said Spike, blushing. "Happy to help."
The yellow pegasus went downstairs to feed the animals and then herself and Spike for breakfast. All her animal friends crowded. Around her, many of them saying "good morning" to her. "Good morning to you too, my critter friends." Said Fluttershy. "I hope that you're not afraid of the storm." She said with a tone of concern this time.
All the animals replied to her, probably saying that their not, thanks to Fluttershy as their company, and Spike, too.
"That's good. " said Fluttershy happily. "Now I'Lloyd be right with all of you. I just got to make myself and Spike some breakfast first. The animals responded with happy animal noises, well... except Angel, of course, since he didn't really like Spike very much. Fluttershy saw Angel's face and gave him an unamused glare. "Angel." She scolding. "Be nice to Spike. He's just. Baby dragon.
Angel didn't really respond, and he just gave. Reluctant sigh, saying that he will be nice, but only for Fluttershy's sake, also to keep his extra meal time privileges. The yellow pegasus continued to make the food right after she gave her ultimatum to Angel. She decided to give out Spike's breakfast first, and then she will get onto feeding her animal friends after that. She went upstairs and sat the baby dragon's breakfast on the bed, with a tray to keep from making a mess on the sheets. "Here you go, Spike." She said sweetly. "A dandelion, tomato, and lettuce sandwich. "
"Thanks!" Spike remarked before he started to eat. He was really hungry, and for a small size, he has such a big appetite, almost like Applejack, or more than Applejack's big appetite.
"Glad you're enjoying it." said fluttershy, facing some crumbs flying onto her while Spike was eating. But, she didn't care, she is just happy to see Spike happy. Turns out, this was a really good idea for these two after all. So far, These two are now in love, and are now officially a couple, a perfect couple.
Fluttershy went downstairs to fetch breakfast for her dinner friends now. Of course, as always, she started with Angel, since he was Fluttershy's especial pet, and then gave to Harry the brown bear, and then the rest.
"I hope you all enjoy." Said Fluttershy. "Bon appetite"
Just like that, every animal dug into their food. They were, like Spike, as in; they were all really, really hungry like Spike was this morning. Just then, a sudden idea came to Fluttershy in an instant. She never thought of an idea like this before, but it was something for her and all her friends in the cottage can enjoy. She went back upstairs to tell Spike about her... sudden thought that just came to her. When she came up, she said to him "Spike, can I... ask you something?"
"Sure. Let me just take my plate back downstairs to take the plate, but he was stopped.
"Wait!" Said Fluttershy. Spike stopped right where he was. "I can take it for you." She said
"Oh. Okay. But, you don't have to do that. I can do it myself." Spike remarked.
"I know. But, I'm just being kind." Fluttershy said.
"Oh come on, Spike." He thought. "Fluttershy is a very sweet and kind pony. How can I possibly disappoint her?" He didn't want to hurt Fluttershy's feelings, because he knew how sensitive, nice, and innocent she was. He decided to give her the plate. "Okay." Spike said
Fluttershy smiled warmly at him. "Thank you, Spike." She said. She took the plate back downstairs and came back up few seconds later.
The baby dragon then laid back with his hands behind his hand on the bed. "So, what do you want to ask me?" He asked
"Well... you see..." Fluttershy was a little sheepish, but she finally said "I'e been thinking; since it's heavily raining outside, would you... like to... Like to camp here in my cottage with me and my animal friends? if... that's okay with you, that is." She waited for a reaction. She sounded very nervous.
"Really?' said Spike, excited to hear that. "I love camping!"
Fluttershy was so relieved to hear Spike say that right out of his mouth, and said "Wonderful."
"What should we do?" said Spike.
"Well, we can tell eachother fairy tales, or stories." Fluttershy responded cheerfully. However, a look of terror came to here in an instant, and said while shaking a little. "As... as long as it's not so scary."
Spike smiled, knowing that scary campfire stories were definitely not her thing. "Don't worry." he said reassuringly. "No scary stories. I promise."
Fluttershy stopped her shaking, smiled at him, and said "Whew. Thanks, Spike."
"No problem." said Spike. He showed his left face cheek to Fluttershy and asked "how about a little kiss?"
The yellow pegasus smiled seductively, and replied "sure." She puckered her lips, and pressed them against Spike's cheek. "Oh, and I was thinking about using a blanket to cover all of us like a tent for fun."
"how are you going to get that, Fluttershy?" the baby dragon asked.
"I talked to Rarity about it. and she is making it right now." fluttershy answered. "we'll go get it later."
"Wait, what about the animals outside? Should we feed them?" The baby dragon remembered. Yes, just because there's a storm outside, doesn't mean that Fluttershy doesn't have to feed her outside critter friends.
"Oh, you're right. And... can you please come with me?" Fluttershy said, a little scared.
"Don't worry, Fluttershy. I'll be right here with you while we are out there." Spike replied proudly. "Do you have umbrella around here?" He looked around for an umbrella as he asked.
"Sure. It's in my wardrobe." Fluttershy answered
"Great." The baby dragon ran to the wardrobe and picked up an umbrella to keep him and Fluttershy from getting wet outside.
"Let's go." Said Fluttershy, going downstairs again, with Spike following after.
Later in the evening, it was still raining outside,minutes not as hard as it was, but still thunder clapped, and lightning exploded through the storm clouds. Fluttershy was having her evening tea, while Spike was playing with the other animals in the cottage.
They didn't get even wet outside earlier when Fluttershy fed her animals their breakfast. Fluttershy, was a little scars from the thunder and lightning, but not as much when Spike was with her in the rain. Thanks to them. All the animals were fed, and happy.
Fluttershy put her down on her table and looked at the clock. It was seven in the evening, which is the perfect time for this camping trip she had just thought about. She looked at Spike who was playing monkey in the middle with a seal, and Angel in the middle of the catching. "Spike." She said, walking up to them.
The three stopped their shenanigans and looked at Fluttershy. "Yeah." Spike said.
"It's time now." Fluttershy.
Spike's face grew excited. "Should I go get the blanket?"
"Oh yes, please." Said Fluttershy. Spike went to get the blanket, and tried to hold it all, but it was too big for him. Luckily, Harry the bear was there to help him.
"Oh, thanks, Harry." Spike said, thankful for Harry's help. The bear gave a happy growl to him in response. Together, Harry and Spike lifted the blanket as the animals gathered around in rows of circles, for instance their were outer and inner circles. Fluttershy went to get her lantern as a fireplace for inside and placed it in the center.
"Okay, everyone, make yourselves comfortable."said Fluttershy. Spike and Harry readied the blanket, and some of the other animals helped them. The blanket was as wide as the whole cottage, or maybe a little bigger. The Animals, Spike, and Fluttershy covered themselves with it like a tent. "Since it's raining outside, we might as well have fun inside. Me and Spike are going to tell eachother fairy tales, and you're going to listen to them. Won't it be fun?" Fluttershy announced. The animals ls gave many sounds of excitement, except for Angel, thinking it was boring. The rest didn't care, because he was just being Angel. "So Spike, why don't you go first?" Fluttershy suggested.
"Okay." Spike said. He began his fairy tale about "The Bunyip" creature that lasted for only twenty minutes. After he was finished, the animals, minus Angel, we're intrigued.
"That's amazing." Said Fluttershy. "I really hope I see one next time I ever go to a swamp. " So now, it was Fluttershy's turn. She told the tale of "The Colt and the Manticore" that was also not a very long story, but still very good as a timeless classic.
"That's awesome." Spike commented. "I've never heard the one before." So, that was that with the stories, to be honest with the animals, The stories were both pretty interesting. "Sooooooo.... what now?" Spike asked, unsure what he and his friends should do next.
"How about a song?" Said Fluttershy.
The animals commented with excitement, for they love campfire songs, even thought it's a lantern, and not a campfire.
"99 buckets of oats on the wall, 99 buckets of oats." Fluttershy sang.
"You take one out, pass it around you have 98 buckets of oaks on the wall." Spike sang along. Everyone in the tent sang along too, but it was mostly just animal sounds from the rest of the group inside the blanket, but it still sounded musical. Turns out this little camping idea was a good one.

Volunteering at the Zoo (Edited)
Fluttershy and Spike were cuddling on the bed again the next morning. The camping trip was actually kind of fun with the stories and the singing. Angel might have hated the idea, but everyone didn't care about that. They all thought that it was fun.
"Thank you for doing this camping idea, Fluttershy." Spike politely said to her.
"Aw, you're welcome." Said Fluttershy while blushing. "I was just trying to keep all of us happy on a rainy day. The stories were wctually fun."
"Yeah they were, we're they?" Spike said
Fluttershy giggled and gave Spike a small loving kiss on his left cheek, making him blush and swirling his two fingers around ln a circle. "Soooooo.... what fun thing should we do today?" Spike asked, trying to focus less on that kiss.
Fluttershy then remembered something, like a favor. "Oh I forgot." She quietly exclaimed.
"What?"
"I promised Sunflower and Zoo Wrangler that I would help their animals at the zoo." Fluttershy replied. "Would you like to help me, Spike? If that's okay with you."
"Yeah I would love too!" Said Spike excitedly.
Fluttershy smiled. Since she Is one with animals, she is an excellent help as a volunteer at the Ponyville zoo. The zookeepers, a married couple named Sunflower and Zoe Wrangler have good relations with Fluttershy and call her their favorite helper. "Let me go tell all my critter friends before we leave, okay Spike?"
"Okay." Spike replied happily.
It was a good thing that he and Fluttershy fed all the animals earlier, for they would go really hungry if the two left the animals while they were unfed.
All the animals made their own sounds to Fluttershy in response after she told them all about she and Spike volunteering at the zoo. "Angel, you're in charge while I'm gone, okay."
Angel made a salute pose saying that he will not disappoint Fluttershy.
"Okay, Spike." Said Fluttershy. "Let's go."
Spike hopped on her back and she made her way to the zoo. While walking, Spike asked Fluttershy "hey, can I ask you something?"
"What is it, Spike?" Asked Fluttershy.
"You don't mind me riding on your back, do you?" The baby dragon asked
"Oh, of course I don't mind." Fluttershy replied. "Why do you ask?"
"I... i was just curious." Was all Spike said.
"Oh, well I don't mind at all." Fluttershy smiled at him, as she said that and looked forward again as she was walking
"Okay." Spike said.
A sly smile appeared on Fluttershy's face while Spike wasn't looking. She slowly, and sneakily used her tail to touch Spike on his dragonhood, tickling him with her soft blanket-like tail.
The baby dragon blushed and giggled lightly. Fluttershy giggled seductively at his reaction. "That tickles." Spike said, feeling his dragoon hood becoming hard from her tail tickling
"Gootchie gootchie goo." She seductively whispered in a sing song tone. She rapidly flapped her eye lids, trying to look even more pretty for Spike.
The baby dragon looked a little embarrassed moving his eyes left and right with nervousness. He became a little more accustomed to it since the last time that happened to him. He became a lot more relaxed. "I love you, Fluttershy." He said
"I love you too, Spike." Fluttershy replied softly, wrapping a small portion of her tail around Spike.
"So... Fluttershy, should I just watch? Or what can I do to help you with the work?" Spike asked curiously
"We'll see when we get there." Fluttershy replied. It was a little silent for a little while, and it felt a little awkward.
"Uhhhhh.... Wanna play a game?" Spike asked unsure what to do know after this conversation.
"Sure." Said a fluttershy. "I spy with my little eye, something.... Green."

It was normal and peaceful in the town of Ponyville. The zoo wasn't far from the two lovers now. Fluttershy and Spike eased their game of "I Spy" just a moment ago as they entered the town.
"Do you think that the zoo owners will let me help you?" Spike asked a little nervously. "What if... what if I just make it worse?"
"Don't say that, Spikey-Whikey." Said Fluttershy while walking. "They would always like some extra help taking care of animals. Besides, I am sure you would make a great help for everypony."
"Aw, well..." Spike flushed. "Guilty as charged."
At last, they reached the zoo. It was packed, and loaded with visitors just going in to see the animals. On the positive side, however, the line was not very long, and they wouldn't have to wait to be first.
When Fluttershy was next, the ticket lady recognized Fluttershy, and did a happy gasp of joy. "Oh, Fluttershy deary." She said. "Come on in. Zoo Wrangler and Daisymay were just expecting you."
"Thank you Ticket Booth." Fluttershy kindly replied. "I just hope I am not late."
"Nonsense." Said the ticket lady. "You came just in time, sweetie."
The yellow pegasus turned Spike around to show the ticket mare the extra volunteer. "This is Spike, I hope you don't mind, but he will be helping out too"
"You don't say." Said the ticket lady, even more happy. "Of course you can help Fluttershy in the zoo, deary." She said to the baby dragon. Spike smiled at her answer.
Fluttershy smiled and went through the gate with Spike still on her back, and she entered the zoo. The zoo wasn't... Overpopulating the whole zoo exactly, it was just filled with many visitors, interested in the animals.
"So where do we find Daisymay and Zoo Wrangler?" Spike asked
"Hmmmm... Usually, I would just find them over-"
"Fluttershy! Yoo-hoo." Called a female voice. It was an indigo earth mare with a pretty looking daisy as a cutie mark, along with a straight, lime like green mane and tail, almost as identical as Blossomforth's . The Stallion next to her, was a orange-red pegasus, having a lion's paw as a cutie mark. His mane and Tail were light yellow, and both looked really long, almost like Shining Armor's mane and tail, but longer.
"Ah, hello Zoo Wrangler. Hello Daisymay." said Fluttershy, noticing the married pair.
"Just in time to help out with the work." said Zoo Wrangler. He and his wife noticed Spike, who peeked from behind her to get a better look at the zookeepers.
"Oh, who might this cute little guy be?" said Daisymay, walking up to Spike. She was trying to get a closer look at him and observed him.
"I'm Spike." he answered.
"Well, nice to meet you, Spike." said Zoo Wrangler, walking up to Fluttershy, next to his darling.
"Wait, you're princess Twilight's assistant, aren't you?" said Daisymay recognizing what Spike was.
"That I am." Spike said.
"Well what might a lad like you be doing out here with Fluttershy?" asked Zoo Wrangler.
"Well... you see.... Spike and I... are.... meant for eachother." Fluttershy said nervously.
The married couple made a really happy gasp with Daisymay saying "Oh, Fluttershy, I am so happy for you." She looked at Spike with the same smile. "And congratulations to you too, Spike."
"Ah, well." Spike blushed.
"So, I brought him here to help us. If that's alright with you." Said Fluttershy
"Hmm. I don't know, Fluttershy." Said Daisymay, not sure if that is a good idea.
"Yeah, I mean Spike going in the pens with you? Don't you think that's kind of dangerous?" Zoo Wrangler added
"Don't worry. Spike will be safe with me." Said Fluttershy, gently nuzzling Spike's face. "After all, the animals have no problem with me at all. I'll just tell the other animals that Spike means them no harm"
"Yeah, you're right." Said Zoo Wrangler, admitting that Fluttershy was right about her statement. "What do you think, honey?"
"Hmmm... Okay." Said Daisymay, finally agreeing to let Spike in the pens with Fluttershy. But, in a more cautious voice while she placed a gently hoof on his shoulder, she said to him "but Spike... Please be careful. I don't wasn't you to get hurt."
"Don't worry. I'll be fine." Said Spike, dismounting from Fluttershy's back. The couple smiled at the baby dragon at his response.
"That's good." Said Zoo Wrangler.
Fluttershy smiled back and walked around the zoo, trying to see what pen she should do first. Then she said "well, how about we do the lions pen first."
Spike gulped and looked a little horrified "lions? But- but- but- do they... Eat other animals?" He said with a small gulp. He really wasn't expecting something dangerous like the lions to come first.
"Oh Spike. It's okay." Said Fluttershy. "These lions may sound a bit scary, but they are really sweet once you get to know them."
"Easy for you to say." Spike said with uncertainty. "Of course all animals love you, because you're like... Mother Nature."
Fluttershy gently lifted his chin so that she can look at him. "And they will like you too. They just need to see who you are, and what you're like. Besides, I'll be with you."
"Yeah, at's true." Said Spike. "O...okay. I guess I can give it a try." He felt a little more confident, because indeed, Fluttershy was one with nature, and could tame any wild animal that could be very dangerous.
"Great. Let's go." Fluttershy walked to the lion pen, and slowly opened the back door. Spike was still a little unsure, for he was starting to become a little scared.
"It's okay." Said Fluttershy softly. "I'll be right here."
The baby dragon gulped and slowly walked through the back door. As he entered the habitat, he saw five large lions. Three males, and two females. The largest male had a handsome black mane, and was a little bigger than Fluttershy herself. The two other males were a little smaller, and both had handsome brown manes. The two lioness' were just relaxing on the grassy, and rocky terrain of the habitat.
The large black-maned male looked over and saw Fluttershy and Spike. He was surprised, and so happy to see her. He gave out a loud roar of happiness. The other lions looked, trying to see what he roared at, and they too saw Fluttershy.
"Hello, my friends." Said Fluttershy. All of the lions slowly walked towards the yellow pegasus, licking and nuzzling her with great affection. "Oh yes. I'm glad to see all of you too." She said, gently rubbing their bellies one at a time.
Spike became a little more afraid, for the lions were only a few feet away from him now. Just then, the largest male stopped his interaction with Fluttershy, and looked at Spike with curiosity. Seeing that he stopped, the rest of the pride started to notice Spike as well.
The largest male slowly walked over to the baby dragon. Now even more terrified, Spike, almost completely paralyzed, slowly backed up, but every time he stopped back, the lion would approach him even more with every back-step the baby dragon took. Finally, Spike felt his back touch the wall of the pen. Realized that there was no way out, he began to shake with fear, waiting for something to happen to him already. The lion bent his head down a little, for he was indeed bigger than Spike. Just then, he felt the lion sniffing him. It felt a little bit more powerful than the average wind that Ponyville would get. It only made Spike shake more violently with fear.
What Spike didn't expect was that the lion smiled at him and licked his face. Spike began to laugh fro. The licking. "Stop it." He laughed. The lion then nuzzled Spike's small body with affection, like he a d his friends did with Fluttershy. The other lions came up to him, and looked at him. It took a little while, for they wanted to know what he exactly was, but they all joined in on the licking and nuzzling,
"Aww, look. They like you already." Said Fluttershy.
After a little while, all the lions stopped their licking and nuzzling and gave Spike some space. Fluttershy was right, they already like the baby dragon after all.
"See? That wasn't so bad, was it?" Said Fluttershy
"No. You're right." Said a spike. "Sorry if I didn't believe you before."
"It's okay." Fluttershy replied sweetly.
"Do these cool lions... have names?" the baby dragon asked curiously.
"Oh yes." she walked to the small pride so that she can introduced Spike to them. "This is Maliki." she pointed to the largest male with the black mane. He roared a hello to Spike in response. "This is Kibwana and Hodari. They are brothers." she referred to the other two males. The siblings roared happily to Spike as well, but it was not as deep as their leader's roar. "And this is Kibibi, and Imara." The two lioness' roared at Spike a hello too.
"Nice to meet you all." Spike said. The big cats crowded around Spike again, nuzzling him one at a time like regular house cats. In fact, they were all behaving like house cats. Spike giggled as he was feeling their fur brushing against him again.
"So, what do you need me to do?" Asked Spike.
"Hmmm.. Well, you can help me feed them, and give them baths." Fluttershy suggested. "Oh and... Clean up after them."
"Okay." Spike said cheerfully. "I don't mind that last part."
Nopony loved cleaning up after pets, animals, or livestock, but they know they have to, to keep their places clean.

During the cleaning and feeding, Spike and Fluttershy did some fun things with the big cats while they were doing their voluntary jobs. Maliki would pull Spike with his massive paw and lukled him into some hugs. while Kibwana and Hodari would roll around the grassy floor of the pen with Spike, making small roars of affection. Finally, Imara and Kibibi would lay down with Spike relaxing on Imara's stomach to relax. As a matter of fact, Spike would rest on the other lions too. just looking around the habitat out of curiosity. After he stopped for a moment, he felt something soft and cuddly gently brushing his leg, and he saw a fluffy tail held high. He looked where it came from, and their was a lion cub.
"Holy shit." He thought in pure amazement. "Aww, hey there little fella." Spike addressed to the cub. He felt the young baby purring against his leg, and sometimes felt his dragon face. All of a sudden, he saw a few other cubs coming out of small opening, or more like a hole or a small cave with a large log on top of it. Three more cubs have popped out of their little hiding spot, and they all approached Spike, very curiously to know what he was. It took a little while, but the rest of the cubs grew use to Spike, coming around him nuzzling their heads against his legs. "Hehehe. Stop that." Spike laughed.
He felt something breathing on his head, and he looked up to see what it was. It was Kibibi and Imara, the two lioness'. They had to be mothers for these little cubs in the habitat. Spike began to worry a little, because he knows how protective many animal mothers can be when somepony tries to interact with their baby. Someponies, watching through the habitat began to worry that Kibibi and Imara might attack and kill Spike to protect her cubs, however, Spike received some friendly licking from the lioness in return However, Fluttershy saw what was happening and went to see what was going on. Finally, she saw the cubs interacting with Spike.
"Aww, how cute." Said Fluttershy, noticing the cubs. "I forgot to tell you about their babies, did I?"
"It's fine, Fluttershy." Said Spike. "The thing is, do Kibibi and Imara mind me interacting with the babies, and... Who do they belong to?"
"Of course they don't mind." Fluttershy replied. "If the cubs trust you well enough, the grownup lions trust you to."
The baby dragon smiled.
"Oh, about the cubs, two of them belong to Kibwana and Kibibi, two of them belong to Hodari, and one belongs to Maliki and Imara." Fluttershy introduced.
"What happened to Hodari's mate if he has two cubs?" Spike asked curiously.
Fluttershy's face turned from cheerful to saddened. "She died of an unknown disease a few months ago. Her cubs were a month old when she passed."
"What?" He said, a little shocked and saddened. He bowed his head in remorse. "I'm sorry to hear that."
"Thanks, Spike." Said Fluttershy. She gently pulled Spike into a hug with her wing and gave him a hug. The baby dragon smiled and hugged her in return.
After the two broke, Spike asked "so... What are the cubs names?" Spike asked
"Daisymay and Zoo Wrangler are still thinking about it. These cute babies are still young, you know?" Fluttershy answered.
"Good point."
"We'll, looks like this habitat is clean, and the lions are already fed." Fluttershy walked up to the alpha lion and said "it was nice to see you again, Maliki, and everyone else. Yes it was, yes it was." She felt the Leon's tongues licking her face for affection. The lions turned their attention to the baby dragon, and Maliki pulled the baby dragon in for another hug. The rest of the pride joined in. Spike was touched to be hugged by fierce creatures such as lions, and felt like the lions welcomed him to their pride, witch they did.
"Okay. It was nice meeting you guys," Spike said to the pride. They all roared at him happily in return, definitely sounding like they welcomed him to their small family. Spike and Fluttershy went out the back door which they came in, and went back outside the habitat. Spike was really starting to enjoy working as a zoo volunteer, and felt much more relaxed about the animals.
"That wasn't so bad, was it?" Said Fluttershy.
"No, that was.... awesome." Spike replied. "Where do we go next?" He asked.
"Well, there's the painted dog." Fluttershy suggested.
"Great, let's go." Said Spike. He and Fluttershy made their way to the zoo's painted dog exhibit. Spike honestly, didn't know what a painted dog looked like. Until he saw the seven Zebrican wild dogs in the habitat. "Oh yeah. I've seen them before." He remembered. As they entered the habitat, they all squeaked with happiness seeing Fluttershy. The small pack ran up to Fluttershy, wagging their tails happily like any other dog.
"Oh yes, it's so good to see you, to" Fluttershy playfully babytalked to the dogs. "oh yes, who's a good boy, who's a good boy?" was what she would say to some of them. They were not as big as the lions are, for they were a little smaller than Fluttershy, but a little bigger than Spike of course. They all closely examined Spike after they were done with Fluttershy and they all sniffed him with curiosity. They all warmed up to Spike, and licked his face while they playfully pranced around while squeaking at him like pet dogs. Spike laughed and would play with some of them too, rubbing their bellies, and playing fetch with them.
After that, Spike and Fluttershy both cleaned up after the dogs and fed them. They were more hyper than the Lions were. Thus, another habitat was done. Fluttershy and Spike kissed eachother on the lips after they finished, very affectionately.
More than one hour and thirty minutes later, Spike and Fluttershy were finished helping with helping the animals at the zoo. Daisymay and Zoo Wrangler met them again
"Well, Spike." Said Daisymay. "We definitely thank you for helping us with the animals."
"Yeah, we can always use more guys like you. Why don't you come visit us again sometime, then we'll see what you could do for us."
"Sure. I would love to!" Said Spike cheerfully with a wide smile.
"Well, we might as well be heading back home. " said Fluttershy. "It was nice meeting you again."
"The same with you, Fluttershy. " said Zoo Wrangler.
"Daisymay nodded a yes and said to the baby dragon. " It was very nice to see you, Spike."hope to see you gain some time."
"You sill." Spike replied. "I promise."
Fluttershy said bye to her good friends and went back home to the cottage with Spike waving at the two zookeepers.
"Thank you for.helping me, Spike." Said Fluttershy kindly.
"Ah don't mention it." Spike replied while flushing. "Should we... kiss?" He asked
"Um, I would rather prefer if.we were outside zoo, and then. We'll kiss."
Spike nodded in agreement and after they were out of the zoo, and halfway back to the cottage, Spike got off of Fluttershy, and he said while he was in front of her. "I love you, Fluttershy."
"Oh come here, my little helper." said Fluttershy tenderly. She pulled Spike close to her, and the two kissed for a long period of time in a field filled with flowers.

Fluttershy opened her front door and said "we're home." In a sing-song voice. All the animals. Were happy to see her back home, along with seeing Spike back too. "So, what would you like to do now, Spike?" She asked the baby dragon.
"I'm wiped out." Said Spike with a yawn. "I'm going to take a nap if that's okay with you."
"Okay." Fluttershy gave him a kiss on his cheek, and whispered "sleep well."
As soon as Spike went upstairs, a sly smile appeared on Fluttershy's face, and she licked her lips.

"Thanks. And... you don't mind keeping this a secret from our friends... Do you?" Spike asked in a favor.
Fluttershy smiled at him again and she replied "not at all. It will be our little secret" she gave him yet another, yet a slightly longer kiss on his cheek than before.
"So, did I do a good job with those animals at the zoo earlier?" Spike asked curiously. Trying to keep the conversation up and running.
"Oh yes. Twilight is really lucky to have a little helper like you. A really cute, handsome, and adorable helper."
The baby dragon blushed at Fluttershy's compliment. "You don't suppose I can give you a... Back massage, do you?" He asked
"Oh of course." Fluttershy answered. It was a little odd for Spike to ask her that type of request, but it was still a nice, thoughtful request out of love. The baby dragon lifts his head from her lap, and the yellow pegasus rolled over for Spike to do his massaging. "Okay. Ready." She said

"Well, I hope I didn't hurt your feelings for that, but... but your hooves they- they feel so nice and so warm like small pillows and... I couldn't help-" but he was cut off when unexpectedly, she pulled him in for a kiss on his lips. He was quite surprised, but he gave into the feeling.
All the animals, except for Angel, went "Aww." to that adorable sight.
As soon as Fluttershy and the baby dragon released themselves from that passionate kiss, the yellow pegasus said "It's okay, Spike. You could never hurt my feelings."
The baby dragon smiled with a tear down his face, and he kissed her right on her cheek this time, making her blush with a smirk like a harmless, playful retaliation for fun. "So, sorry if if I did that." He said. He got back on his belly on the nice couch once more, waiting for the massaging to continue
"No need to be sorry, Spikey-poo." The yellow pegasus replied. She resumed her rubbing and gently chopping with her hooves. While she was finishing, she asked him "so, do you feel less sleepy now?"
"Yeah. Thanks to that kiss." Spike replied. He blushed at the last word she just said.
"Brilliant."
After ten long minutes, Spike said to her "okay, Fluttershy. I think I'm done with this. " just like that, Fluttershy eased her rubbing and soft chopping, giving Spike an opportunity to just relax with that relaxing experience. "How do you feel?"
"I feel like a million bits" the baby dragon replied. "We should do that more often, and wearing that unitard too."
"I am always happy to grant you those wishes." Fluttershy replied, confirming that those events will be arranged if Spike wants them to be arranged.
"So, did all the critters get their food?" The baby dragon asked while looking at the animals.
"Of course I did." Fluttershy replied. "I would never under fed any of my critter friends, for they are all very dear to me," she turned back from the animals to Spike and she said "like you are also very dear to me." She gave him yet another kiss on his forehead.
"Aww. Thanks Fluttershy." Spike said, realizing touched to hear that. He then hugged her, feeling the unitard covering her chest with his head. The yellow pegasus hugged him back in return.
"What are good friends for?" Fluttershy replied sweetly. "And this you for giving me the same thing as I did for you, even though you were a little naughty back there." She showed him her beautiful ass again, making him blush as he stared at it, looking a little hungry for some more of that again. "Still like the view from here?" Fluttershy teased seductively.
"Uh-huh." the baby dragon covered his hardened cock again even though he was not on Viagra anymore. He gave a slight sheepish smile.
"Wonderful. So, what would you like for Lunch?" the yellow pegasus asked as she turned her self back to Spike with her usual cute smile on her face.
"I'll just have the usual for tonight." Spike replied cheerfully.
"Coming right up." The yellow pegasus said before she went to her cupboard to fetch Spike what he would usually want for dinner. As always, it would just be ready in a few seconds as soon as she would get the right ingredients out. When she came back, it looked appetizing as ever.
The taste buds on Spike's tongue were so happy to see that sandwich on the plate. They were all cheering with excitement to see the sandwich coming towards them.
When the first bite went down to his stomach, the second bite was coming.
"Oh boy, here comes some more!" Exclaimed a taste bud in a dorky, high pitched voice, then the buds enjoyed another shower of food.
"This is really good, Fluttershy. You never cease to a,axe me with your sandwiches. Ah, who am I kidding? Sandwiches are easy." Spike said after he gulped the last piece.
"Thanks."
"So... I hope I'm uh... Not being pushy, but... Can you please keep that unitard on... At least until tomorrow?" Spike asked sheepishly
The yellow pegasus smiled warmly at him and replied "of course I will. Whatever makes you happy." She hugged Spike into her body again. The baby dragon hugged her back in return. "Well. I have got to clean the cottage. Would you like to help me?" Fluttershy offered
"Yeah, I'd love to." Spike replied. He and Fluttershy went into the downstairs closet and pulled out feather dusters for each of then, and a broom for Spike. For the next thirty minutes, Spike and Fluttershy swept with their utensils in and out of the cottage.
Hummingway, Harry, Angel, and the other animals at the cottage gave her a helping hoof, and or paw as well to make it faster. Usually, cleaning like this would be a drag for most ponies, but these two were far more different since they love each other dearly.
After they were finished, the two put their utensils back, and Fluttershy said "thank you, Spike. I really appreciate your help. Twilight is so lucky to have somepony like you,"
The baby dragon flushed at her compliment. "Eh, no problem. It's what I do."
Then, they decided to sit and relax in the cottage, sitting together as a couple for the remainder of the day.
Later that night, Fluttershy was tucking Spike in her bed to sleep with, and gave him her usual goodnight kiss. She kept her beautiful green unitard on her as Spike requested earlier today to keep him happy.
"Hey, Fluttershy. Do you think that, tomorrow... We can... Go see a movie together? Just the two of us?" Spike asked
"Sure. I love the movies." Fluttershy replied, but then she gulped and added "except..." She then quietly squeaked "horror movies!"
"Don't worry. We won't see horror movies." Spike said, trying to calm her down.
Fluttershy was relieved and she said "that's good." She tucked herself in, and before she turned out the light, she said in a very soft whisper "goodnight... My sweet prince."
"Goodnight, Fluttershy." Spike said with a yawned. Then, they were both asleep a few minutes later.
The Next Morning
Spike awoke, and found Fluttershy still asleep, and still in her unitard. "Hey, Flutters, wake up." Spike whispered to his marefriend. The yellow pegasus sighed very adorably, and she woke up with a cute yawn.
"Good morning, Spike." She said
"Good morning, Shy." The baby dragon replied. "How did you sleep?"
"Like a baby." Fluttershy said. "And what about you?"
"Eh, same thing." Spike replied. The two laughed with each other at the comment, and they both got out of bed to get ready for a new day.
"Let me go take a shower, and then we can go to the movies, alright?" Fluttershy said
"Okay. I'll wait, and take one after you." Spike kindly said.
The yellow pegasus sang to herself and closed the bathroom door, leaving Spike alone in her room, waiting for his turn.

That was a nice massage that these two gave eachother. Many ponies would call it odd, but that was rather adorable. I hoped you all enjoyed this chapter.
Spending more Time together/Parents
The sky was as beautiful and blue as ever, even on a romantic day for Fluttershy and Spike, who were walking to the movie theater for something fun to do on this very day. In the meantime while they were walking, they both thought of what movie they want to watch together.
"So, what movie would you like to watch, Spike?" asked Fluttershy.
The baby dragon thought of it, and he answered. "I am fine with what you pick."
Fluttershy was touched, but she replied "That's really sweet of you, but I think whatever you want to watch is alright with me." Spike was touched by her reply.
When they arrived at Ponyville, they stopped in front of the movie theater to look at any posters they want to see. Finally, they both looked at the poster with the movie titled "Never Alone: a romantic story of love and softness."
They both smiled and Spike said "what do you say, Fluttershy? Would you like to see this one?"
"Oh yes, if you want to watch it." Fluttershy replied. Then they waited in line for the tickets, and surprisingly, it wasn't really long at all. It would be a hope that all the tickets to to See the movie were sold out.
After just thirty seconds, they were finally next in line. "Two tickets to see 'Never Alone', please." Said Fluttershy politely.
The ticket stallion went to the back of the booth and came back with the two Ogden tickets being held by the magic from it's horn. "Here you go, ma'am" it said in a voice almost as deep as Big Mac's, well, except he wasn't a southern stallion to tell the difference. "Hope you enjoy the movie"
"We will." Spike said. Then Fluttershy carried him inside the building and looked for the right room for the right movie to watch. Finally, after six more doors, they found it, and both went inside. The small corridor was a little dar, except for the floor lights.
When they reached the seats, they saw that their wasn't so much ponies here. May e many ponies are not the... Romantic type to say the least. But what matters was that they both will enjoy the movie, even if their is not a lot of people, and that would mean that it would be more quiet. The two found two good spots at the top, and made e selves comfortable on them. Spike took a sip of his root beer while Fluttershy took a sip of her herbal tea.
The baby dragon's drink was quite large for a boy his size, but dragons have quite a big appetite, even bigger than ponies metabolism, especially Applejack's.
"This is going to be nice." Said Fluttershy. "Just you and me watching an adorable movie together."
"Yeah.' Spike said in a dreamy voice. Then the lights slowly faded until the room was dark. Everypony was quiet and the film began to start,p.
"Can I have some popcorn, Shy?" Spike asked quietly
Fluttershy didn't say anything, but nodded a yes, and passed the bowl of buttered popcorn to him. He ate fast and kind of like a pig, but he kept his mouth closed, and munched quietly so at everypony could hear and watch the film. The intro was quite epic, and looked really magical.
All through the movie, there were both parts of action and romance, with sword fighting and hugging. The plot of it was the warrior unicorn princess had to rescue an earth cult from the clutches of the evil gorilla queen in a sword dual.
At the end, the princess got a reward by kissing his older brother, and being the colt's royal bodyguard.
When the two kissed, Fluttershy and Spike decided to blow eachother a kiss of their own, cery passionately.
"Oh darling, thank you ever so much dr this touching moment." Said the princess In a voice similar to Celestia.
"Oh no, my love." Thank you." Said the older brother. "This is not goodbye, for we will meet again." Then they b,ow a short kiss on their lips
"You're my hero." Said the colt
"Why thank you, sweetie." Said the princess. Then she bent down, and gave him a three second kiss on his cheek to show affection. The colt laughed and blushed crimson red.

The film lasted for at least one hour and thirty minutes. When Fluttershy and Spike came out of the eater, the baby dragon asked "how was that?"
"Amazing." Said Fluttershy. "Very cute, too." She blushed at that last remark. "What did you like about it?"
"The action." Spike said, making a few punching sound effects and imitating sword clanks. Fluttershy laughed at the cute thing he just did. "What was your favorite, Shy?" he stopped his pretend fighting.
"The romance, and the kissing and all of that." Fluttershy answered and gave a dreamy sigh. Another sly smile came to her as she thought of an idea. "Spike, would you like to go somewhere a little more.... private?"
Spike liked the idea, and he just replied "Sure. Where?"
"Come with me." Fluttershy said seductively. The baby dragon followed her until they stopped behind a large tree on the outskirts of Ponyville.
"So, what now?" Spike asked eagerly, waiting for something to happen. Then, he felt himself gently being pulled by Fluttershy, really close to her face, kissing him very affectionately on his lips. The baby dragon's tongue began to wrestle hers, and both made soft noises of bliss. It was too much for them to bear that they even fell on the soft grass while kissing to the feeling.
After they stopped their passionate kissing, they rolled around the flowers, gently tackling eachother down a small knoll, both laughing. After that, they just laid on the soft green blanket of grass, and looked at the sky, both still smiling. In the meantime, Fluttershy asked "So, what would you like to do now?"
"Well, You kind of got me tired from that kissing." Spike replied jokingly.
"Oh, sorry."
"Nah it's cool."
For a few long minutes they continued to stare at the beautiful almost cloudless blue sky. They could do this forever, and call it a paradise for just the two of them on this moment for the rest of eternity. Just then, Fluttershy felt something touch her head, like fur.
She sat up and there was a grey wolf pup, looking very curious about these two. Ironically, it was black in color, for it was quite common for grey wolves to be black. "Aww, hello little one." Fluttershy said to it. She bent down close to it's face. The pup looked a little nervous and she gently shushed him. "It's okay, little one. I'm not going to hurt you." She gently petted his small body. "Are you lost?" She asked him
The small pup was whining a few times as his answer, sounding like a sad sound.
"Poor baby." She said. "Don't worry, Iwe'll help you get back to your mommy and daddy." Spike's eyes went wide with mild disbelief.
"Really, I thought wolves are dangerous." Spike said a little worried
"Don't worry, you will be safe with me." Fluttershy said to him.
The baby wolf began to inspect Spike with curiosity this time. He sniffed him and then licked him with affection, really liking him a great deal.
"Aww look, I think he likes you." Said Fluttershy, smiling warmly.
"Well, okay." Spike said as he felt the ticklish feeling of the pup's licking. "I guess that we can help this little guy out."
"Perfect." Said Fluttershy. "Okay little one, when was the last time you saw your mommy and daddy?"
The pup barked and led the two towards an opening consisting a small pile of rocks and logs, like some kind of jungle gym for a wolf. The pup barked a few more times, and made a few whining noises again
The pup bowed his head a "yes."
"Well, how long were you lost out here?" Fluttershy asked him
It barked again in response.
"Three hours? You have been out here for three hours without your parents?
The wolf pup nodded a no, and barked at her again on wolf talk.
""Why did you run from your parents?" Fluttershy asked
The pup was talking in wolf language again, explaining to her why she was all alone.
"Oh, you were very curious about the forest and so you decided to see what was around you without your parents permission."
The wolf began to shed a tear
"Oh don't cry, baby. There's no need to feel bad." Fluttershy said very softly. "We'll find them. I promise."
The pup smiled at that remark, knowing that things will be alright, and shouldn't worry.
"Yeah, we'll find them." Spike said to it. In the meantime, they searched high and low in the large forest for their parents for almost thirty minutes, but no trace was found. Until the wolf pip was sniffing familiar scents on the ground and he barked happily with excitement.
This sparked good hope for all three creatures. The pup began to run with Fluttershy and Spike following him to what might his destination. Finally, after almost one mile, the wolf pup stopped dead where he sat, as did Flutterhsy and Spike.
There they were, the pup's parents at last. A large black one and a smaller white one. They were just as big as Fluttershy was. The black one obviously had to be the father and the white one the mother. When the two adult wolves saw their saw, they both howled joy and happiness. The pup ran up to them, and they all huddled into a family hug.
Spike began to shed a tear of joy seeing a family like that reunited at last, even though it was only for three hours.
The wolf pup then bowed his head in sadness, telling his parents that he was sorry for running off like that, and told him that he was curious to see what the world was like. The two parents smiled and his father nuzzled him. The mother gently pulled him into a hug after that.
Then, the two wolves. With their son, walked up to the two, and the baby dragon began to worry. "I have a very bad feeling about this." Spike said, a little nervous. He sidestepped back behind Fluttershy and peeked at them from behind her.
The father wolf made sounds deeper than his son, telling Fluttershy Thank you. The white mother told Fluttershy the same thing.
"You are very welcome. I am always happy to help creatures in need." Fluttershy replied to them. All three wolves piled up on her for affection to stay thank you to her for retrieving their son. Their were some playful growling and Fluttershy giggled as she was being "crushed" by their size.
When they were done, the father wolf noticed Spike, as did the mother wolf. They both looked at their son again. After many short seconds, they all walked towards Spike. Now Spike was really starting to worry. Unlike the lions in the zoo, he was with wild wolves this time. The two large wolves inspected Spike like their son did by smelling him. After they were done sniffing. They also licked him with affection to tell him thanks. He was scared that he forgot that Fluttershy can tame any animal. The wolf mother made sounds to him that Spike couldn't understand. "What did she say?"
"She said 'thank you for returning our baby for us' and that you are a cute baby dragon." Fluttershy answered.
Spike's eyes went a little wide for a second, and blushed at the mother wolf's comment. "Ah well, it was nothing." He said, trying not to brag.
Then the father wolf stepped in to say a few kind words to him. He made deeper wolf noises to him, and nuzzled his face. Spike chuckled from his ticklish black fur.
Fluttershy giggled at that display of affection, and she said "He said, thank you for bringing Claw back to us, brave little dragon."
The baby dragon blushed again. "You're welcome." He replied.
The father wolf talked to him again.
"He said that he, his family and his pack are forever in your debt." Fluttershy translated.
"His pack, you mean he's the alpha male?" Spike asked with astonishment.
"That's what he said." Fluttershy replied. "Well, We might as well be going now." She knelt down to the pup and said "It was nice meeting you Claw."
The cute pup barked in reply.
"You're welcome, baby." she said to him. "If any of you would like, please come and visit my cottage any time you like." she now referred to everyone.
The wolves smiled and they all howled to tell them goodbye.
Spike remembered something, and when the wolves stopped their farewell howling, he asked the parents "So... what are your names?"
The father replied with a bark and then the mother.
"Oh, Nightfang and Moonfur?" Spike transtated. "Those are very cool names."
"Well, we might as well be going." Fluttershy said "Come on, Spike." She walked back to Ponyville and the baby dragon followed her. They both turned back for a moment when they walked and said their goodbyes to the wolves. The three wolves howled to them again as they saw the pair going back to Ponyville.
While walking, Spike was thinking how much of a happy family those wolves were together. Then he thought who his real parents are, making him sad a little. A small frown began to form on his face. He would have love to see his parents again, if he knew exactly who they were. He kept on thinking about who they might be as he was walking back to town.
"Spike?" Fluttershy said, snapping him back into the real world. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah. I'm fine." Spike said in a tone that sounded happy again. "I'm just happy that we did a good thing like that."
"Are you sure you're okay?" Fluttershy asked. "You look a little sad."
Spike didn't want to lie to her anymore, and he replied with a sigh "Okay, I'll tell you when we get back. We'll talk then, okay?"
"Okay."
Then the pair continued walking. Fluttershy was becoming worried again, and really wants to help Spike out with his little... whatever she thinks his problem may be. She just hopes that she can help him with the problem he is dealing with.

They finally returned home, and Fluttershy closed the front door while Spike sat on the couch. The yellow pegasus sat next to him to ask him "So, what's the matter?"
Spike gave a sad sigh, and he replied "Well, I am grateful that we saved that cute wolf pup, and reunited him with his family, but... but..." He was trying to finish his sentence without feeling the stream from his eyes
"Yes? Did you want to spend more time together?" Flutterhsy guessed
"Well, it's not that." Spike answered
"You want to go back to Twilight's now?" Fluttershy guessed again
"No." Spike answered "Well, not yet anyway."
"Then what is it?" Fluttershy asked, giving up on the guessing game.
The baby dragon was silent for a moment, and finally he said to her "Okay, when I saw the family it... it... it made me think what it would have been like if my mommy and daddy would stay together." He felt a few tears escape as he choked.
"Oh Spike." Fluttershy said with great sympathy. She really hated to see him like this. "Don't cry." She gently hugged him, and gently rubbed his back again. "I understand."
"Who were my parents?" Spike sobbed. "Where did I come from?"
"I don't know." Fluttershy replied sadly. "But I understand how you feel." She kept on gently shushing him and hugging him until he eased his crying. "Better?" she asked as she heard him crying alot less.
"Uh-huh." Spike replied as he sniveled. "I'm better. Can... I have a tissue?"
"Of course." Fluttershy gave him a few tissue paper to blow his nose on. "I'm sorry about all of that." He said after blew on the first tissue paper. "It's just that... It stinks not having your parents around." Then he blew into the other tissue.
"Don't be sorry." Fluttershy softly said to him. "It's okay if you feel that way." She sat down closer to him and wrapped her wing around him. "But you got us. Me, Twilight, and our friends, remember?"
Spike gave a small smile. "Yeah. I know. I am thankful for that."
"See, I knew you would feel better." Fluttershy said, happy to see that he was happy again.
"So, Fluttershy. I know this sounds stupid but... you still love me right?" Spike asked.
"Of course I love you Spike." Fluttershy replied. She gave him a long kiss on his forehead. "We are meant for eachother, remember?" She hugged him again. The baby dragon hugged her back in response.
"Thanks, Shy." Spike said to her
"You're welcome, Spikey-Whikey." Fluttershy replied in a whisper right into his ear. After they broke their second hug, Fluttershy then asked "So, what would you like to do now?"
"I think I am just going to relax." Spike replied
Fluttershy smiled to show him that she was perfectly alright with that. "I understand." She stretched her arms, and said "I think I just want to relax too."
Spike smiled at her answer
"So, would you like to help me feed the animals dinner later?"
"Yeah, of course." Spike replied.
"Good, well. I am just going to water the plants. Let me know if you need anything, alright?' said Fluttershy
"Of course." Spike said.
The yellow pegasus went outside again, and began to water her flowers. Spike will never be alone, he knows that his friends are his family and that they will always be there for him
Author's Note
That was a very sweet talk between Fluttershy and Spike. It was good that the lost baby wolf, Claw, reunited with his parents, thanks to them. What will happen next? Find out on the next chapter.
The evening came, and the moon was slowing rising while the sun was slowly setting in the sky. Many stars began to appear as the night sky was slowly coming as Luna was doing her job to raise the one thing she protects other as much as she cares for her subjects: the moon. Spike was just doing a little cleaning for Fluttershy around the cottage like he would clean back at Twilight's place, but unlike Twilight's, He had a few helping hooves, or one set of helping hooves with helping "paws" thanks to some of Fluttershy herself and some of her animal friends, minus Angel.
Spike was just finished cleaning the bookshelves while Fluttershy cleaned the small inside habitats for her bird, small reptiles and amphibians, and small mammal friends so it would be more nicer for them to live in. They were both humming to themselves while they were doing it.
The baby dragon cleaned up the last smudge on the last window and he said "there, good as new." Then he put the towelette and spray bottle in the small utility closet so that either he or Fluttershy will remember the next time ey will use them once again. Fluttershy was also done cleaning the last cage, which was a small birdhouse for a small shrike family.
"Here you go, little ones." Said Fluttershy to the shrikes "I hope you enjoy it now that I made it cleaner."
The small birds chirped back to her with happiness, obviously telling her "thank you so much for fixing our house." At least. That's what Fluttershy heard from her ears.
"Oh, you're welcome." Fluttershy replied to them.
The small shrikes flew back into their little house and sat happily together on their small perch inside, close to eachother.
Fluttershy walked to her comfy couch and sat on it while she was taking a break from all that animal house cleaning inside the cottage
Spike did the same thing that she did and hopped on the couch next to his mare-friend, both smiling at one another. "So, when do we give the animals their dinner?" The baby dragon asked curiously, trying to create a friendly conversation with her.
"Hmmm, about ten minutes." The yellow pegasus answered politely. There was a small awkward silence for a second, and finally, she asked him "so, what would you like to do tomorrow?"
"Hmmmmm.... how about the spa?" Spike suggested.
Fluttershy loved the spa, for she would go there with Rarity occasionally. "Sure. I would love that." She replied.
"Great." Spike said with excitement. Another awkward silence came and it was a little longer this time. After about thirteen seconds, he finally said "you knkw, Fluttershy. Spending time with you has made me alot better. I thank you for taking me in, and... i really think that this relation might work between us, and... i love you, Fluttershy." He blushed after saying his last refrain to her
"Aww, you are very welcome, Spikey-Whikey." A touched Fluttershy replied to him. She gave him a very soft and kind of a long kiss on his forehead, making him blush even more. "I love you too."
They continued sitting together, and after a few long minutes, it was time for dinner. They both got up and they both got different types of feed out one after another after another. Many animals grew excited that their dinner was coming.
As usual, Angel was the first to get his food. When Fluttershy dumped fold in his bowl, he ate like a total pig and when he was finished, he gave out a loud burp, and patted his now large tummy.
Spike rolled his eyes in annoyance, knowing how spoiled that rabbit can be at times. Nevertheless, he ignored that, he dumped food at one half of the animals in the cottage while Fluttershy fed the other half of the animals.
When they were finished, they moved on to the birdhouses, with many of them chirping happily as food was being poured into their little tubed to eat out of. When that was taken care of, they both went outside to feed the animals outside the cottage this time. Fluttershy went into her little outside food storage and pulled out one large bag of chicken feed.
"Spike, can you please get the bowls of fruit from inside?" Fluttershy asked politely
"Right away." The baby dragon replied. He rushed inside and got the big bow of fruit for the other animals. "Here we go."
"Wonderful. I'll help you as soon as I am done with the chickens, okay?"
"Okay."
Fluttershy poured the feed into the chicken buckets inside the coop. The bag was already half empty. She put the bag back in her little shed, and went to help Spike with the rest of the feeding. She gave him a helping hoof with pouring the animal feed in many animals food bowls, and they both made it faster by feeding them separately one at a time. The larger animals like Sammy the sea lion, Harry the bear, etc..., were a little more harder to do, butthey were successful anyway.
All the animals made many types of sounds of their own, telling both of the. Thank you in response for the food. There was roaring, chittering, squeaking, grunts, and bird sounds mixed in one response
"You're welcome, my critter friends." Fluttershy said to all of them. "Goodnight everyone."
One at a time, they all yawned, feeling pretty tired. They all went to their pens, and any types of houses for them, and then they all fell asleep, even some of the nocturnal animals like the bats, fell asleep too.
After that was all done, they both went inside. The baby dragon yawned, feeling pretty tired and sleepy himself.
Fluttershy smiled at that, and then she said "don't worry, let me help you with that." She gently picked him up like a baby while she was hovering, and then she flew upstairs, and gently tucked him, placing the blanket on his body.
The baby dragon yawned and then fell asleep in a snap.
