Well, true that I'm starving.

And I know vegetables are full of fibers and are good for me but... This is a bit too much.

"Come on! You have to eat something! Taste that." Said Dash, proposing me a sumptuous hay sandwich she just lovely made.

I... I just can't eat that.

...

Oh god, I hope it doesn't taste the same here.

I slowly and carefully bit off a morsel of the sandwich and chew it.

I force myself to swallow it by courtesy, despite my tongue and my taste buds screaming me not to do that.

"I... I'm sorry, I just can't eat this. I can't eat hay, daisies or grass... I don't think my stomach could endure this... I don't want to offend you or anything of course."

"Oh, mh, yeah of course! You should've told me sooner! Excuse me, what could you eat then?"

I guess she doesn't have a steak or some ham in her fridge...

"Well, humans are omnivores, so I guess I could eat some fruits or something? Bread is fine if you have anything like jam or-" I stop mid-sentence, looking at them troubled by what I just said.

"I-I don't mean to seem demanding or anything of course."

"N-No, don't worry but... You said you were omnivore... Does that mean you eat anything... Anything, like meat too?!" She wasn't really scared, just... shocked?

Of course that would shock them...

Or at least Twilight and Spike, because Dash seemed just a bit surprised.

"W-Well... Yes. Our bodies are really different in many points, and we don’t have the same needs, I guess." Oh my, it doesn't help at all.

"But I don't really need meat at all! There are even peoples where I'm from that don’t ever eat any meat, and they're pretty healthy." It sounded better.

"I wouldn't eat any of you, don't worry about that!" My god, that sounded awfully weird.

Twilight seemed a bit reassured. She stood up and walked to a shelf, it was a bit taller than her.

She opened it and looked at me.

"Well, I-I’m sorry I don't have any meat, we're all herbivores... I hope...” She whispered the last words.

"But I got many fruits and I have leftovers of zap apple jam" What?! Oh gosh.

"That would be perfect! Thank you Twilight!" I said with an uncontrollable goofy smile. The zap apple jam?!

Of course I'm still a bit troubled by this... Situation. But I could at least try to take advantage of it while I'm here, right?

I mean, I'm a brony, in Equestria, and I'm going to eat zap apple jam.

I guess I couldn't help but smile stupidly, looking at the little pot Twilight dropped on the table.

A light giggle caught my attention, and my eyes meet a grinning Rainbow Dash looking at me.

"I-I really like apples." I said trying to convince her, and myself.

She smiled at me and kept eating without saying anything.

"Thank you Twilight."

I passed the next minutes eating the best jam I ever tasted.

It hardly tasted like apples in fact.

I can't describe what was inside this jam, but I can say it was by far the best thing I tasted on a long time.

We didn't spoke that much while eating, we were just glancing to one another.

Well, Dash seemed amazed by the way I was using my hands.

And Twilight by... My whole body, I think.

There are so many things I want to ask.

But I just don't know where to start.

But Dash does know it.

"How are you using these things?! When I had them I couldn't even move them, but you're using them as if it was nothing."

"They look like Spike's claw but they seem far more agile, it's so cool!"

Oh my, hearing that from Rainbow Dash...

"What? My hands?" She nodded.

"Oh, well, true that I don't know what would become of me without these babies. To be true, I really don't get how you're doing anything without something similar. Well, with hooves, I mean." Now that I think about it, they really do grab stuff with these.

How does it even work? I mean, there are no bones or fingers of any sorts at the extremities of their legs...

Spike stood up, hitting the table using his claws.

He was so silent until now; I nearly forgot he was there.

"I have hands too! Look!" He said, lifting his claws to expose them.

"Well, technically, yours aren't hands, but claws. And yours aren't as agile as his!" Said Twilight.

The little dragon didn't answered and groaned instead, got up and walked towards the entry hall.

"WELL, if you don't need me anymore I’ll be at Carrousel boutique." He said, crossing the door.

"Spike!" Twilight exclaimed.

She then turned to us to bow apologetically.

"I'm really sorry for this; he's acting pretty weird since I took you home three days ago..."

I guess I'll have to talk to him about it...

"What?! Three days?!!" My mind started racing again. My head's working a bit too much these times.

"It's already been Four days since I left my world??" Twilight looked a bit surprised at my reaction, but just nodded.

"Oh god, I’m REALLY late for work now!" I said while chuckling a bit.

And who was getting bored by the daily grind heh?

What am I going to say to my boss? And to my mother...

"Twilight, do you know if you're able to take me back to my world?" I was looking at her and now had my back turned to Dash.

"Well, of co-" Twilight stare switched between mine and something behind me.

Something was moving behind me. I could clearly feel the movement so I turned to meet a grinning Rainbow Dash with a blameworthy look on her eyes.

I just raised an eyebrow at her antics before turning back to Twilight.

"I-Ehm, not for now! I'll need a bit of ti-" More movements.

What's going on here?!

"N-Not at all! this would demand f-faaar more magical power than I could provide!"

I turned again to Dash who was acting like nothing happened.

Okay, I think I get it...

"W-We'll need to ask to Princess Celestia herself to send you back in your world." Twilight really is the worst liar I've ever met.

It's freaking cute.

I just want to tease her now.

"And I guess the princess would be too busy to do that if you just ask her, hum? She’s a princess after all, I could understand that..." She was clearly dodging my eyes and was nearly sweating from nervousness.

"Y-Yeah! She is busy with eh... some kind of... really important... stuff!"

"T-T-There's this banquet... thing coming up! She wouldn't be able to do something like that for a little while..."

Okay, so Dash wants me to stay here...

Why not? Been a while I didn't took any vacations.

And I'm in Equestria. Talk about a one life chance.

I’ll think about what to say to my boss later.

"Okay then... What now? Can you show me the town and around or something? I start to have pins and needles all over my legs."

"Yes of course, I’ll not confine you here." Said Twilight.

She looked at dash and an evil grin appeared on her face.

"But I'm sure dash will be more than happy to hang out with you, to show you the town, take your temperature and all..."

Dash blushed and looked fiercely at Twilight who was madly giggling.

Damn, I hope I'm not making any bad decisions here...

So, I'm going to be here for a bit...

Let's have some fun at least.

"Okay then Rainbow Dash... can I call you Dashie? Rainbow Dash is kind of lengthy, and Dashie sounds really cute." I said grinning like mad.

Her already flushed face turned red at my reflection, and Twilight couldn't help but to chuckle and grin too.

"Ho-How do you know about the pet name Pinkie gave me?!" She was having a hard time looking at me.

Oh my, she's so easy to tease.

"I didn't know it was your nickname, it just sounded kinda cute." My inner brony was having the time of his life.

"Y-Yeah, whatever, let's go now." She walked towards the entry hall, forcing herself to look at the ground.

Oh god, she's so cute.

Talking about cute...

"Well okay then, but, mmh... Is it okay for me to hang around like that? I mean, you don't have any humans here, right?"

"I just don't want to scare anyone or anything."

She looked at me, putting a hoof to her chin.

"Yeah, it's true... maybe I could..." She stopped mid-sentence, running to the other room.

Dash and I looked at each other before following her.

Twilight was rummaging the main bookshelf of the room, groaning and mumbling incomprehensible titles and references.

"There! Metamorphosis and transmutations for bipeds and non-ponies." She said while removing an old book from the shelf.

"I think we could try to transform you... or something..." She was nearly mumbling at this point.

She wasn't reassuring at all.

Why did I ask something like that?!

"AH! This one... It's basically to temporally transform diamond dogs in ponies, but it should work on you, want to give it a try?" Her eyes were sparkling and she was smiling widely at me.

I can't say no to that face.

"Okay... Is it safe?" I asked.

"You know, I don't want to end up with a tail to my back too." I chuckled as I noticed what I said.

“Yeah, it’s safe, don’t worry.” Is she even listening to what I'm saying?

"Too?" Dash said while looking at me with a questioning stare.

Oh, shouldn't have said that here.

"N-Nothing, don't worry." Twilight wasn't paying attention at all.

"Come on! Explain it to me if it's funny!" Dash was giving me small pat using her hoof, a little grin spreading on her face.

"Er, No, really, it's nothing... So Twilight?" I was hoping that Dash would stop at that.

But we're talking about Dash.

"Another one... at your back... OH! I get it!" She said cheerfully.

"You really are a natural one!" Dash roared with laughter.

I think I'm going to corrupt them if I stay here too long.

And this can't lead to anything good at all.

I'll have to watch my tongue.

Twilight wasn't even paying attention to Dash still laughing and was literally the head in the book.

She suddenly lifted her head up and looked at me while smiling.

"Okay, I understand now, are you ready... Max?"

"Yeah, go ahead!" I was sure it was going to be okay.

Or, I would have wanted to be sure.

Light started to form on the top of Twilight's horn and beamed in my direction, striking me and started to... Tickle me.

Is it supposed to tickle?!

I forcefully closed my eyes until the tickling sensation faded away.

"Is it over? Oh my, I'm feeling dizzy..." I asked, opening my eyes.

"Max?!" Twilight screamed before approaching me.

I wasn't feeling anything anymore, I was just seeing the ground approaching pretty fast...
