The Lover and The Moon

It was December and I asked Luna out to the Snow Prom, I was excited when she said yes. the only problem with that is she doesn't know what a prom is. I nearly fell to the ground when she said those words. However, I did realize that in her world, she didn't have proms, they only had the parties and celebration. I could describe it as the Grand Galloping Gala, I mean, there almost the same thing. "Ok, Luna, do you remember the Grand Galloping Gala?"

"Why yes, me and my sister always hold it every year."

"Ok I..." I stopped to realize what Luna had just said to me, my and my sister. "damn it!" I yelled, I sat on Luna's doorstep and placed my head on my hand. Luna sat next to me and placed her hand on my back.

"What's wrong?"

"your sister, I forgot all about your sister." I raised my head and then placed them back onto my hands. "You left Equastria, and your sister is probably worried about you. She can't raise and lower both the sun and the moon. I am such and idiot!" then I felt Luna hug me.

"It's ok Kyle, It's not your fault" she said, "My curiosity got the better of me and I left my world, I made the choice to leave, not you." she got up and grabbed my hand, "Come on let's go talk about this Prom, and besides, I bet my sister can handle both the sun and the moon."

Somewhere in equastria at the princesses castle: "HELP!!!!" now back to the story.

"Ok" I walked inside Luna's house and sat on one of her couches, Luna changed back into her pony. I told her that a Prom is somewhat Like the Grand Galloping Gala, but instead of receive tickets, you buy them. I showed the two with tickets with snow flakes on them. I also told her that in the beginning there will be loud music, but near the end, the will start to play soft music. "so when we go to prom, we're going to have to where something nice, for me, I will be wearing nice formal clothing with a bowtie." I then looked at her, "what will you wear?"

Luna placed her hoof on her chin, then her horn glowed and a bright flash emitted from her closet. "You can see it when we go to prom." my face turned red when she said that. It made me think, what will she wear, and how beautiful will she be? Then a thought popped up in my head, "Luna, you remember Damien from the school right?"

"Why yes, why do you ask?"

"Well, I was talking to him about me asking you to prom, and he wanted me to join him at the prom."

"Why?"

I started to laugh a little bit before I spoke. "Damien got himself a date, but he's nervous about it, I guess you could say it's his first date. So he want's me to be there with him so I can support him."

"Oh, that sounds Like a wonderful idea."

"Yeah, it does, but I have no idea who this girl is. So it's going to be hard for me to support him."

"Well, I can help." I looked up at Luna as she gave me a smile. "That way, Damien has a chance with this special girl."

"Thanks, well I better get going, I got some preparations to attend to." I open the door and stopped before leaving, "hey Luna, thanks you for saying yes."

"your welcome Kyle, and besides you have to protect me." I smiled when she said that. I opened the door and left Luna's house. The Flame's of Rage will rise.

A few day's past until the day finally came, Snow Prom day. Now, Snow Prom is held the day after we are let out of class for winter break.  that gives us time for us talk and dance with out the worry of homework. I was at my house checking that I had everything with me, I even made a check list; formal clothing: check, flowers: check, and Luna gift: check and check. everything was ready and my parents were ready, or should I say, parent. My mom couldn't come with me since she had a lot of work to do. So it's just my dad that is going with me. The fun part was that I was going to be driving us to prom, now I didn't know where it was at so my dad had a GPS set for me to use. I had no clue where it was because this was actually my first prom. The car was set, I was set, and now for Luna. I went to Luna's door and knocked. "Luna! you ready?" I heard a tiny voice.

"Hold on."

The door open and I wasn't looking forward. "So when we..." I pause when I saw Luna's dress. It was the color of the night sky with glitter representing the stars, at the side where her hip is was the moon. To top that off she was wearing her crescent moon pendent, the same one she wore when I saw her in human form for the first time. My Face Lit up Like at siren when I saw her in that amazing beautiful dress of hers, hell, I could die looking at her in that dress.

"So how do I look." I gave no response "Kyle?"

I woke up from my unconscious mind. "Oh sorry." I lifted my hand to her and she grabbed it. "You, my lady, look beautiful and bright as the northern star." She blushed when I said that to her.

"Why, thank you Kyle."

I raised my hand to the car behind me. "your chariot awaits." Luna got in the car and then I did. It took some time for the GPS to find the location, but once it locked on, I Left out neighbor hood and drove to the prom. I took maybe 30 to 45 minutes to get there, but it was so worth it. We arrived at a building that was surrounded by white Christmas lights and there was a banner at the top of the entrance that said "Snow Prom." I got out of the car and ran to the other side of the car to open Luna's door, when I got there, I opened the door and grabbed Luna's hand. We both locked arms and started to walk towards the building. I looked behind us and saw my dad get out of the car and drive away, now it was just me and Luna. When we got inside, there was loud music playing and everyone was dancing. I looked around for Damien since we were also there to support him, after some time of scanning the tables, I saw Damien talking to a blond haired girl wearing a red dress. Damien notice me and Luna and waved, we both walked over to the table he was at. He got up and walked over to us.

"Hey guys, I am so glad you made it. Kyle, thanks for helping me out with this."

"No problem Damien, Amber will also help out."

"Well, thank you Amber, by the way, amazing dress."

"Why, thank you Damien."

Then the girl with the red dress walked up next to Damien and placed her hand on his shoulder, I saw him jump when she did that. "Damien, are these your friends you were talking about?"

"Why y-yes. Kyle, Amber, this is Leah, my d-date." Oh man, he was nervous, I caught myself just in time before I was about laughing. "Leah, these are my friends."

"It is nice to meet you, I heard a lot about you two."

"Well, it's nice to meet you to, and you, have chosen yourself a true man." I placed my hand on his shoulder and shook him a little bit. "He owns a amazing flower shop. He has many exotic flowers in his shop, I even got the flowers I gave to Amber here from his shop."

"Well, maybe I should visit this shop sometime."

"Haha, hey Kyle, could I speak to you for a second."

"Why sure thing" we walked away from the girls a few inches.

"What was that? Is that really the best you can do?"

I stared at him a little bit. "I helping you, in fact I help you so much, she wants to see your flower shop. So when she wants to see it, use that skill of yours that I know you know and find the lucky girl over there a amazing flower."

"I guess your right, thanks."

"Your welcome, now come on, the girls are waiting for us" we went back to Luna and Leah and we all sat at the table Damien and Leah were sitting at. We talked and ate some food at the Prom for a while and we dance a little bit. Then the DJ started to play some slow music, now's my chance. "Hey Amber, care to join me in this dance." I said as my hand was lowered to Luna.

"Oh, well I love to." Luna grabbed my hand, we locked arms, and then we walked over to the dance floor. that's when I change course, we went passed the dance floor and towards a set of doors. "Kyle, we missed the dance floor." I stayed silent we got to the doors and I opened them. "Kyle, where are we..." Luna noticed where we were heading. Like I said, there was gazebo outside of the building with speakers. we walked inside the gazebo and we started to dance. It was amazing, we danced to the slow song in a beautiful gazebo with amazing Lights underneath the starry night. "Oh my god, Kyle did you plan this all out." I held Luna close to me as we continued to dance,

"only for you."

"this is amazing"

"it took sometime to plan, and I can tell it all worked out." Luna smiled as she rested her head on my chest. I looked up and I saw Damien with his jaw dropped, he went back inside seconds later came out with a sign that said "that's my boy!" I laughed a little bit.

"what is it."

"nothing, just thinking." we continued to dance under the starry night sky until it was all over. Rage will devour you.
