A Knock came form the outside of a larger iron door of a dark compact rusty metal room. A young messy black haired man laid on the thin cot three feet off the ground. He ignored the knocks and went back to sleep.... well tried to until the knocking became louder and a voice shouted from the other side. "Elite General Rex Paradox, you are to gear up and head to Lab D-12 for your next mission!" shouted the voice as they continued to knock. "The Director said you cannot refuse this mission under any circumstances!" With no other choice but to comply. Grumbling an alright, he got up and went to the locker in the corner of the room to get dressed. He put on his custom made black military cargo pants, combat boots, and v-neck t-shirt with combat vest. He then went the sink on the other side of the room to finish prep-work. he washed his face and looked at himself in the mirror. There's not much say about him, he's 20 years old, 6 feet tall, 215 pounds, and well toned body. His eye were special with a ring around his pupil which were purple. Done with his look he grabbed his dog-tags and head out the room. After exiting he was greeted by a young female officer. "Sir, I'm sorry for waking you but I was told to escort you to Lab D-12 for a very important mission give down by the Director herself," she said. "Lead the way then," he replied. "Thank you, Sir." after a quick salute she started walking to the lab and the general fallow behind. 20 minutes of silent walking later. They made it to Lab D-12. Once there, the female officer left and the man was meet with another woman with a lab coat. " Greetings Elite General Rex Paradox, welcome to Lab D-12 of Research and Development, I'm the lead researcher who will be giving your mission," she said with to much glee in her voice. Rex nod to show he understood. "good, now let's get started. As you know General humanity has evolved to the point that people are killing each other for territory," at this point they began walking."Now in order to solve this problem the government has funded this program find a solution," they stopped walking after entering a room fill with computers and tech people. there was also a giant javelin gun, three custom made javelin shaped pods, and a giant computer screen that seems different. at that moment the woman turn around with open arms and said. "This is that solution! You see General we have discovered how to manipulate wormholes in order to travel across the universe in the blink of an eye, well there's still some limitations like we can't go some where you can't breath or a place we haven't discovered yet. Now your mission is very important. We will be sending you to a new world in M.T.J. (Military Transport Javelin) in javelin pod code name 'Santa Maria' though that portal right there," she points to the giant computer screen." unfortunately we can't fit everything in one pod, so we put your battle equipment in javelin pod 'Pinta' and your tech in javelin pod 'Niña'. we did put somethings in your pod that will help you in the mean time. Do you have any questions?" "what is my mission," ask the general. "Your mission is to locate the 'Niña' after touching down for your next order," she answered."Also there's a possibility of sentient life being on the planet. You are to avoid contact with them as much as possible. Anything else you need to know?" "No, that is all I need right now," he verified. "Then let's begin the launch. General please step in the 'Santa Maria' and we'll handle the rest," she then led the young general to the pod. he then laid down and strapped in. before the hatch was close the woman added." good luck General Paradox," with that said the hatch was locked and they began launch. Just like that everything started up, people were at computers activating the wormhole and loading the javelin pods into the gun for launch. The first shot through the portal the 'Niña', then after five minutes of checking and prepping the 'Pinta' was launched, and finally after another five minutes the 'Santa Maria'. while all of this was happening the Director was watching from the observation room. A screen turns on in front of the Director and the women from before appears on it. "the launch was a success ma'am," the women said though the monitor. "good, let me know his progress as thing go on," the Director said before turn off the monitor. "HA HA HA HA HA LOOK HE MADE IT THROUGH HUH!" laughed a girl from behind the Director "Are sure it was good idea to put him and his unit in charge of this project?" said man also behind the Director. "I would have happily done it if you asked." "Was there something you needed," the Director said with out even turning around. "Elite General Kimmie Bouffon, Elite General Luis Callidus your trying my patience." "Why are you being so hostel," said Callidus, "I'm just trying to help. Honestly you act like i have an ulterior motive or something." "HA HA HA THAT SOUNDS ABOUT RIGHT WHEN IT COME TO YOU!" laughed Bouffon earning a sneer from Callidus. "Still all joking side are you sure he of all people was the best choice for such an important mission," Callidus said trying to get back on topic. "we'll soon find won't we," responded the Director as she left the room. "Only time Will decide." Deep with in Canterlot Castle Princess Celestia woke up with a fright. After a moment of steadying her breathing she got up out of her bed, put on appropriate clothing, and headed to the throne room. She was in a hurry so she didn't greet the night guards as she passed them. When she reached the throne room she was greeted by a worried look from Princess Luna. "Sister, what is the matter, you're never up this early?" the princess of the night ask. "I'm sorry for worrying you at this time, but I feel that something is going to happen that will change Equestria forever," Celestia said while looking at the night sky from the throne room balcony. "We promise you sister, Equestria will be safe," Luna said joining the sun princess "I hope you're right," Celestia sighed still looking up at the sky." by the way three shooting stars side by side is a very interesting choice. Missoin One: SurviveView OnlineThe 1232ndMissoin One: SurviveIn the middle of a dark forest, the javelin pod called 'Santa Maria' landed in a clearing. With a sudden pop, the door of the pod flew several feet and Rex stepped out of it. He took a quick look around the area then turned back to the pod to grab the supplies he was sent with. They were basic supplies consisting of one large combat knife, twenty throwing knives, thirty-two ounces of explosive clay, right handed flamethrower gauntlet, two small first aid kits, one large pack of jerky, and one water bottle. After grabbing everything, he thought of his next move. 'Alright, so I landed in the middle of a creepy forest of an alien planet , i have no idea where the other pods are because the radar is in the Niña, and I only have enough food to last me a week. Well this is going to be a pain.' He looked up at a mountain with a castle on it. 'I should avoid going there until I have to. If there is sentient life here still, they'll be there and I need to avoid contact with the locals for now.' He then looked down and examined the ground. 'The ground is soft and the soil is rich, it seems no one has been here. That means either this forest is really big or really dangerous.' Next he looked up at the sky. 'There doesn't seem to be a cloud in the sky and the sun is just rising now. That gives me a day to at least find shelter.' With everything set and done, he choose a random direction and began walking. While he walked through the forest, he lost himself in thoughts. 'Why the hell do I have to be here anyway. I mean it's not like i was doing anything but still who would want to be stranded on an alien planet with no info what so ever. What was the director even thinking when she decided to send me on a mission like this? She knows I'm more useful with annihilation then exploration. Her of all people should know that-.' His thoughts were then interrupted by a low growl from behind him. He turned around and was shocked by what he saw. It looked like a feline at first glance but, just looking at it paints a different picture. It seems to have the body and head of a cat but the legs, tail, eyes, and even tongue of a lizard. It had talon like claws on its front paws and wider claws made for running. With no reason to stay there Rex took off like a bat out of hell. Now a normal man would probably only last a few seconds running but the general was different from normal people. He ran for a minute or two before another one jumped him from the left. They hit the ground with the creature on the top sinking its teeth into his left arm. Thinking quickly he pointed his flamethrower at its face burning it and getting it to back off. He stood up against a tree ignoring the pain in his arm as the one that chased him, the burned one, and a third one cornered him. With no other option he prepared to attack. First, he grabbed a piece of clay as the first one lunged at him. He dodged by flipping over it while placing and igniting the clay and decapitating it. Then as the other two were turning he brought out his knife and stabbed the third one in the side of its heart. Finally he grabbed a throwing knife and threw it hitting if right in the forehead. Unfortunately, the knife didn't go through the skull and it was stunned so he walked up to it and stepped on the knife pushing it in finishing it off. After all was said and done he pulled the throwing knife out and went to a nearby stream to wash it off. He then put it away and got out one of the first aids to clean and dress his wound. He took out a bottle labelled DIB and drizzled it on his wound. It sizzled for a minute then stopped. He then got a needle and thread and began sewing the wound closed. When he was done, he grabbed a roll of gauze and wrapped it. Afterword he got up and went on his way with one last thought going through his head. 'Looks like this will be more of a pain then I thought it would be, man life sucks.' Back on Earth in an unknown area underground on a base a long spiky haired girl stomped through two large doors to a cafeteria looking place. After looking around and spotting a big man with a metal bottom jaw reading and a girl with sharp metal teeth eating a bowl of nuts and blots, she walked up them. "Oi, Ironmen, Silvershurk, where the hell is the boss!" The spiky haired girl said in anger. "Why on Earth would you think that we would know where he is?" The man known as Smith Ironmen said looking up from his book. "Everyone knows that if he's not in his room sleeping he's here eating!" She yell back. "So since we're here that means we know where he is! In what world does that make sense?" He retorted. "Shh, shh, shh, you're a really stupid girl," The girl named Mia Silvershurk laughed in between mouthfuls . "WHAT DID YOU CALL ME!" The other girl shouted. "Enough you three!" The three of them stopped what they were doing and turned to the source of the voice. They were greeted by a strawberry blonde woman in chain mail. "You all know better than to fight here," She sternly said to the trio as she stepped into the cafeteria. "Well, well, well, if it isn't bosses loyal guard dog," Sassed the spiky haired girl. "First Lieutenant of the Demolition Team Lanna Bomba, I'm your superior and you should treat me as such," The chainmail woman stated as she grabbed her food and sat down at a empty table. "Oh how rude of me, My apologies Grand Lieutenant General Viva Valkyriena," said Bomba rolling her eyes. "By the way do you know where the boss is?" "If you're referring to Elite General Paradox, he was just got sent on a mission," answered Valkyriena. "What!? What mission would they have him go on all of a sudden?" "That information is classified and only four star or higher have clearance to know." "OK, so how long until he gets back then," Bomba said slightly getting annoyed. "I don't know," Valkyriena said with a hint of worry in her voice. There was an awkward silence before Bomba spoke again. "Well then, I'll just wait for him to return. So see ya around." With that said she left the cafeteria. It took most of the day but Rex made it to the end of the forest without anymore distraction. While he went through the forest he did find the ruins of a castle that could be used for shelter so that's good. He also found a hut, but it looked lived in so he figured that he should be careful in the forest near the edge. He walked around the edge while staying hidden to see if there were any signs of life, predators, and the other pods. While he was walking he spotted one of the pods next to a cottage covered in animals like an animal sanctuary. As he got closer he noticed a group of five creatures on two legs heading towards the pod. The one in front had a yellow body, from what he could see, since it was wearing a green neckline shirt and a modest white skirt. It also had long wavy strawberry pink hair that stopped at it's lower back and what looked like a tail. In fact they all had tails, and two of them had wings like the yellow one, one had a horn, and the other two had neither. Another thing he noticed that they all looked female by the feminine features they had but without any more info he couldn't be sure. The one behind the yellow one was orange with blonde hair and tail both held in ponytails by two red scrunchies. It was wearing a white tank-top with an orange and red plaid shirt, jean shorts, and what looked like a cowboy hat. There was a light blue one with wings flying above the orange one wearing a black sleeveless shirt and dark gray biker shorts. It's hair and tail was shaggy but the odd thing was they were every color of the rainbow. Behind the light blue and orange one was the one with the horn. It was white like a blank paper wearing a black knee length skirt and a purple blouse that matched is curly purple hair and tail. The last one behind the others was pink, just a couple different shades of pink. It's hair and tail was a deep dark pink while the rest of it's body was light pink. The only thing that wasn't pink were it's clothes which were a yellow t-shirt and Easter blue yoga shorts. When they got to the pod they were close enough that he could hear them and his suspicions were right. Their voices were female sounding. The first one to speak was the orange one, "so Fluttershy is this that thing ya'll was talkin' about." "Yes it is," the yellow one replied. "So well what is it?" the blue one asked hovering over the pod. "I didn't know," the yellow one known as 'Fluttershy' began. "I just came out of my house to feed the animals when it crashed into the ground right here." "Well does anypony have an idea what it is?" the blue one asked. After asking the pink one began madly waving her hand in the air like she was waiting to be called on. The blue one looked at her and sighed before asking,"Yes Pinkie?" "Maybe it's a piece of an alien space craft that was in the sky and the aliens are probably coming back for it because it has important things in it that will decide the fate of the world as we know it," said the pink one without taking a breather. To give her credit she wasn't that far off from the truth of things. "Pinkie dear I think you're letting your mind get the better of you again," the white one commented to her silly companion. "By the way why isn't Twilight here?" "She got an urgent message from the princess to go to Canterlot," the orange one answered. "She should be back soon." "Well maybe we should go and wait for her," the blue one suggested. "She might know something about this thing." They all nodded in agreement and ran back to where they came. When the coast was finally clear Rex left his hiding spot and went to the pod. He checked it and found that it was the 'Niña'. Thanks to his luck things were going smoothly but he knew his luck would end sooner or later so he had to move fast just in case the natives returned. Steadying his stance, he wrapped his arms around the pod and with one mighty heave he pull the pod right out of the ground. With everything set, he tossed the pod over his shoulder and headed to the castle ruins he saw for the night. Little did he know that six eyes were watching him from the shadows. Missoin Two: ContactView OnlineThe 1232ndMissoin Two: ContactTwilight had a long day today. First thing in the morning she was massaged by the Princess to come to Canterlot, a.s.a.p. So she jumped on the first train there no questions asked. When she got there the princess was the first to greet her. "I'm glad you're here, come there's something you need to see," Celestia said before she began to walk. Twilight, as she followed the princess, asked why the she wanted to see her. Celestia was silent a moment before answering, "Twilight, do you believe in other worlds?" "What, you mean like aliens?" Twilight asked confused about why the princess would ask that. "Yes," Celestia stated. "Well yeah but does that.... have to.... do with....," Twilight stopped in her tracks when they entered a room with nothing but some strange giant metal spear looking thing lying in the middle of the room. "What is that thing?" She asked the princess. "This my dear twilight this is an alien devise that fell a few miles from Canterlot out of the sky," Celestia answered. "But what is it? why is it here? who sent it?" Twilight asked frantically. "I don't know but this does worry me greatly." "why's that?" "Because i have no idea what's next to come from this." "so why am i here?" "You are here because i need you to be prepared for what might happen and for you and the girls to be ready to fight if need be." "What do you need me to do?" "I need you to go back Ponyville and let your friends know what's going on but don't let word get out if ponies find out before we're ready they may panic. Can i put my trust in you Twilight?" Twilight thought for a moment before answering, "yes!" With that, she left the castle and hopped on the train still thinking about everything that just happened. 'aliens, aliens, it's so weird to think that there are other intelligent life somewhere out there. I wonder what they're like?' She let the thoughts flow though mind for the ride wondering comes next. After a long walk back Rex finds in front of the old ruin's doors. Using his free hand gently push them open so as not accidentally break the door. after all the place was in shambles, like at any moment the whole thing could collapse. Once inside he close the door behind him and placed the 'Niña' down. Looking around he realized that yes indeed, this was a run down castle. he took note of the damaged walls, the dusty hallways with rusted doors to other rooms, as well as the torn up old rug in the middle of the 'room' he was in. Remembering he had better things to he turned back to the pod began opening it. gabbing the equipment inside and then move to the center of the 'room' to start making the communication hub to get in contact with command. however unbeknownst to him three certain fillies had follow him back and now watch him from the slightly cracked door at the entrance. "What do now Applebloom," said the orange one with the purple mane to the yellow one with the red mane. "How the hay should I know?" Applebloom retorted back. mean while the white one with the purple and pink mane just glanced between her two friend as they quietly bickered back and fourth. "You're the one that said 'let follow 'em' weren't you?" the orange one shot back. "Well I didn't tell ya' to listen to me did I?" "Well you didn't say not to listen!" "I did," the white one murmured. "No pony cares Sweetie belle!" the other two hissed. "Alright Scootaloo what you think should do now?" rebutted Applebloom. "I say we watch him for now and see where that go," Scootaloo replied. "Right," the other two said in unison. After a long train ride Twilight was happy to be home. Although what the princess had told her still played in her head. 'what is the purpose of that strange spear. Is it a beacon or something else.' her thoughts came to a halt when she entered her house and she had company. For some reason her five best friends were all there with concerned looks on their faces. "what's wrong girls, did something happen?" she ask worriedly. "Twilight," Applejack said stepping foreword. "we have a problem." And the long continues... Finally after two hour's Rex got the hub up and running and is now waiting to connect.
