Paul Bass: Loser Extraordinaire

After waiting for almost ten minutes I decided to go in hoping Twilight had told the others what I'd told her to tell. Putting my ear to the door I could hear shushing and an occasional bumping followed by more shushing so I opened the door and walked into the dark of the barn.

"SURPRI- AAH!"

"Oh my..."

"Pinkie!"

"Why you little!" Pinkie, Fluttershy, Twilight and then Rainbow Dash exclaimed [in that order]

Standing there with my eyes wide open, leaning back and the girls staring at me in shock and Pinkie on the floor with blood on her face, and my outstretched fist, from her nose I then realized what had happened. I lowered my arm and started apologizing so fast you wouldn't believe. However I then got tackled by Rainbow Dash with a look of death in her eye before Twilight managed to pull her off of me.

"I guess I should have told you girls what Paul tried to make me tell you. He said that he has an... 'Adverse reaction' to jump scares and surprises but I didn't think it would be anything like this." Twilight explained while staring at me with eyes as wide as saucers Seriously I should go and measure them

"I did warn you didn't I?" I retorted with shame still plastered to my face with sweat acting as the wallpaper paste.

"Yes." She sighed "I guess so... Rainbow calm down this is my fault not his!" she then shouted. I sighed and decided to leave while I could still use my legs. All the while able to hear the girls panicking about something or another as I continued towards a huge oak tree with AB+SL+SB=CMC FOREVER crudely scratched into the bark I climbed up to the top and decided to take a rest and face the girls in a few hours.

I lay there looking at the sky and I thought to myself that this world is quite beautiful from what I could see and it's a damn shame I ruined my chances of making friends here so badly

Opening my eyes slowly I was greeted by a pain in my back and rolling over to fall and land on another branch of a tree. Let me tell you this, it hurt, BAD. Pulling myself off the floor I notice a vague imprint of my body shape in the dirt Since when did I get so thin? I wonder to myself as I carry on pulling myself up and looking around. Collecting myself I carry on my way back towards town hoping that the girls won't kill me for hitting Pinkie earlier and that I won't be sent to jail for hitting someone unprovoked. After walking for a few minutes I reach town and start making my way through it towards... well... I was just walking around until I came across Pinkie, Twilight and Rainbow. I tried to walk away but they saw me and called me over.

"Hey... uh... sorry for last night-" I began before something shocking happened. Pinkie Pie hugged me. Just straight up hugged me.

"I forgive you..." she said a few times in barely a whisper before letting me go and walking back to her friends. Isn't her mane supposed to be all puffy and cotton candy-esque? I think to myself She probably just brushed it this morning or something she then turned to me and told me to follow, so I did as I was instructed and followed her and the other two towards the barn.

"Where are we going?" I asked with a hint of worry "Am I in trouble or something?"

"... Maybe." Twilight said to me with an monotone voice and without looking around so I had no idea what expression was on her face causing me to just follow silently running my hand through my hair It's getting kind of long, I should find a way to cut it at some point we soon arrived at the large red and white door of the barn. The door swung open and Applejack walking out to greet me with a look of... well... she was livid to say the least.
