Author's Note

Short and sweet...or not so sweet after all.. Oh, and before I forget, i'm going to go back and edit some of the earlier chapters, so when I am done, feel free to read some better chapters. Maybe i'll do it tomorrow...
Well...You all know what to do, so here it is, and enjoy. :derpytongue2:

Nobody ever listens. Damn.

"The name's Gilda, who wants to know?" Izaiah whipped around, putting Celestia behind him. This figure greeted him;

"Hey, Gilda. The one wanting to know is me, Izaiah Midflame." Izaiah held out a hand. Surprising Izaiah, she took it and shook it.
"So you're Izaiah huh? I thought we were meeting at Twilight's library?" She asked looking slightly confused.

"Well I was walking Celestia to her room but since she just abandoned us...let's go." The two took to the skies through an open window. All around them the stars shined and glittered peacefully. Izaiah flew closer to Gilda.

"So...Gilda, I've heard a ton of bad stuff about you, but you don't seem like a bad girl to me." Gilda sighed.
"Yeah. I was real bitch back then. But a few months after I defriended Rainbow Dash, I realized something. If i'm nothing but stuck up and rude to everyone I meet, soon enough I wont have any friends and I don't want it to be that way." She looked at Izaiah with sadness in her eyes. "I would have came back sooner to apologize, but the rebels attacked. I was forced into hiding with my father's guards. I just...felt so lonely and horrible! I bet they wont even give me a chance." She looked away, crying. She wasn't expecting the warm embrace from Izaiah that came next.

"It's alright, if they don't forgive you, I'll be your friend." Then Izaiah let go, flying away from the ground. Gilda did the same. She looked at him with hopeful eyes.

"Do you mean it?"
"Hell yeah. Hey Gilda, I heard that you're pretty fast, wanna race?" Gilda smiled, and a competitive look replaced the sadness in her eyes.

"Let's do it!"
"Bet i'll beat you!" Then Izaiah flew faster, keeping it way below the sound barrier. Gilda didn't break a sweat catching up to him. She smirked.

"That all you got slow poke?" Izaiah grinned.
"I'm not even warming up yet. Here's me actually trying. Try to keep up!" With that, Izaiah sped off, barely keeping it from breaking the sound barrier. Gilda STILL didn't have any problems keeping up. A bewildered Izaiah looked with a open jaw as Gilda broke the speed barrier, leaving a brown/gold trail in her wake.

'Well you learn something new everyday. You wanna use your lightning?' Flare mused on in Izaiah's head. Izaiah grinned.
"Nah, I have to keep my secrets right? Let's just break the sound barrier once this time." Soon enough, there was two sound breakers that night, one in a trail of brown and gold, and one in a trail silver and orange.

Gilda was the first to touch down in Ponyville, crashing in the middle of a park. Izaiah was next, but with a smoother landing. He crashed face first next to Gilda. Izaiah bounced back up on his feet and brushed his BTUs off. He chuckled.

"I guess we both need to work on that landing huh? Oh and you might want to move, now." Gilda stepped to the side as Lynx impaled itself into the ground where the griffin had just been. Izaiah grabbed lynx and sheathed it, and told Gilda to follow. The two made their way out of the park and walked down the quiet streets of Ponyville. Izaiah was about to put in his ear buds when Gilda asked;

"So are you living with Twilight?" Izaiah shook his head. "So why are we going there?"
"I told them all to gather so they could meet the one I was guarding." They arrived at Twilight's library. Gilda stopped in her tracks.

"Wait. All of them are there?"
"Yeah, why?" Izaiah furrowed a brow as he looked at her. She backed away from the door.

"I don't think this is a good idea...what if they attack me?" Izaiah rolled his eyes.
"That's why i'm here, now come on." Then he grabbed Gilda by the talon and walked through the door.

The first to see Izaiah was Twilight and AJ. "Hey Izaiah-" They greeted him before seeing Gilda behind him. Both mare's eyes narrowed and Twilight's magic gained hold of Gilda, ready to fling her against the wall or into a bookshelf, but Izaiah had expected this. Pulling a copper bit out of his pocket, he threw it at Twilight's horn, hitting it and making her lose control of her magic. AJ was about to charge at the griffin but Izaiah knocked the legs from under her and shook his head at the two.

"Is that any way to treat a guest? Go get the others and have them meet in the center of the library where the couches are. Don't try anything, I will use force if I have to." The two glared at Izaiah and Gilda before going to get the others. Izaiah looked back at Gilda.

"Are you ok Gilda?" She nodded. "Good. Let's go sit down. This might be harder than I thought." Gilda gave him a 'I told you so' look before they sat down at the couch, across from the glaring mares who sat at the other couch. Solarwing stood off to the side, keeping an eye on AJ while Falcon and Sgt. Gold restrained their mares. Izaiah clasped his hands together.

"So who wants to start first?"
Rainbow Dash started first, anger, fury, and hatred in her eyes. "Why is she here!?" There was so much venom in that sentence you could kill a bear and a crocodile and have plenty to spare. Izaiah sighed.

"She's going to be staying in Equestria for a while and I'm her protection so she'll be staying with me."
"Humph! Well she is not staying at my place that's for damn sure!"

"Or mine!" AJ said as well as the main six, plus Spitfire. Gilda's eyes started to water as she looked around, getting harsh glares from everyone, Fluttershy's was the most intimidating by far.

"Izaiah, you remember what the girls said she did to them, honestly she is better off dead then here." Falcon said giving off his own glare, Gold and Solarwing agreeing with him.

"Look, girls i'm really-" Gilda started before being cut off by Rainbow Dash.
"SHUT UP YOU STUPID CUNT!" That was the last straw for Izaiah. This had gone on long enough.

"RAINBOW! You take that back right now! In fact, how about you all just FUCKING LISTEN TO WHAT SHE HAS TO SAY!"
"NO! THAT STUPID BITCH RUINED OUR BUCKING LIVES! SHE DOESN'T DESERVE A BUCKING SECOND CHANCE!" Fluttershy cried out, surprising everyone. Then Fluttershy turned her glare on Gilda, penetrating her very soul, making her quake in fear, before Izaiah stepped in.

"THAT'S FUCKING ENOUGH!" Izaiah's commanding voice rung out, shutting everyone up. His eyes were a steely silver and his body sizzled with electricity. His glare looked over each and every one of them, making them shiver, even Fluttershy's glare was no match for his own. "You all are acting like pricks. She came here with me ready to apologize and make up all of her wrong doings, and what do you do? YOU FUCKING ATTACK HER, INSULT HER, AND YOU EXPECT ME TO AGREE WITH THAT?" Izaiah's gaze softened. He looked at Fluttershy.
"Shy, I liked you, I really did." Then he looked at Falcon, Gold, and Solarwing. "You were my brothers, thick and thin, even from within. But now, cross my path and give me problems, I promise you'll be given a proper funeral." Then he stepped back to look at Rarity. "Where's your generosity?" Then he looked at Fluttershy and Rainbow. "Where's your kindness, your loyalty?" Then he looked at all of them.

"WHERE IS YOUR FUCKING FRIENDSHIP?" Shaking his head, he and Gilda walked out the door. Izaiah looked back one last time at his friends. He had a tear slide down his cheek. "You all just lost a friend. And I'm not ever going back." Then he closed the door, leaving the group inside to hang their heads low.
