Magic. Ponies love magic. It lets them fly, cast spells, and do all kinds of fun things. Magic is the whole reason for my being here in this wonderfully color and magic filled world of Equsetria! My name is Insanity, one of the many "brilliant ideas" that dear old dad came up with before he banished me and got himself trapped in stone one thousand years. Funny how that worked out for him. You know I should probably explain how I came into the world. See dad or Discord, spirt of chaos and lord of the dance (and yes that is one of his titles), in case you couldn't figure it out you stupid fucking sheep. Anyway dad gets really bored a lot of the time. Because apparently after being in control of everything for a hundred years he felt the need for company. So he goes and makes me and my siblings. There was my older sister Eris, who was the only other draconequus I ever met. And then I came along model after the second most chaotic creatures of all time. Humans! The difference being that I devil horns bad tail, plus this long forked tongue. Why? Because fuck reason and logic. And finally there was little Screwball. The only pony (heh. It rhymes.) which dad didn't push to the brink of madness. She was already crazy. Together we were a happy chaos loving family with nothing to do but enjoy ourselves.
Unfortunately my way of enjoying myself wasn't really accepted by my the rest of the family. See unlike my siblings I couldn't make things appear out of thing air or teleport or doing any of the things they did. But what I could do was manipulate minds and drive them insane. I got really good at this. So good that my power even began affecting my sisters. I didn't care, I was to busy laughing at their decent into madness (thats right I drive the crazy ponies insane!). It helped a lot that I was jealous of Eris and Screwball for being dad's biological kids, as opposed to me made from memories, madness, and magic. I didn't handle my jealousy very well. Dad wasn't happy that I had driven away his daughters to chaos knows where, so as punishment he locked me away in the minds of every pony everywhere. You know those mad thoughts and voices in your head that you try and push away into the deepest parts of your soul because if you acted on them you would commit sins and crimes so unspeakable that knowing these thoughts are in your head make you question your own sanity!? That's me. I'm also the one who gave Lyra the idea that humans are real.
But fast forward a thousand or so, and you have Terik break free blah blah blah steals magic blah blah blah make threats, then STEALS ALL OF DISCORDS MAGIC! FUCK YHA! See that dad's magic is what kept me in your heads. And without it I'll break free, no more chains on me. So look out Equstria Insanity is back and I'm gonna... gonna... huh. Well I don't know what I'm going to do but then again neither do you.
I suppose I should start by telling you that this isn't the full story, just what's happened so far, so try and stay with me here. My name is Justin, I'm seventeen years old, and I am so very lost. No I take that back. I'm not lost, I am long past being lost. Lost was a few months ago. But I can't safely say that I know where I am. See a few months back I was enjoying myself on New Year's Eve, had driven the six hours from Boston to New York and had been walking around trying to get to my grandma apartment. That was really the last thing I remember before waking up in an alley in... I honestly didn't know where it was. It looked like Manhattan (but it was far more colorful) but instead of people walking by there were ponies. At least I think they're ponies. Multicolored horse looking creatures doesn't really sound right. Walking out among them was easy, then came the language barrier. I couldn't read, write, or speak their language. they could've understand me, and without the lifeline known as communication I was...helpless. And instantly homeless.
Being homeless is awful. Being homeless while in an alien world is even worse. Turned out that ponies don't care for anything that isn't pony shaped. The first pony I talked to screamed and ran. At first I just let it go, assuming that it was the shock of seeing a human for the first time and simply not understanding me. But after getting a similar response from the second pony, and the third, sixth, eighth, and twelfth pony I realized that it was useless try to ask for help from them. Either the avoided me or simply yelled at me, I couldn't understand what they were saying but from the harsh looks and tones of voice, I would guess they weren't trying to be friends. Of course with anyone's help I couldn't get anywhere. Sleeping in the alleyway the I first woke up in was really not helping my image or health. Being a bum seemed to work the same way here as it did back on earth. People (or ponies in this case) walk past you barely looking at you, trying their damned hardest not see you. The ones that do see you either try to forget they did or look at you with pitying or disgusted eyes. Without help, and with my health diminishing I didn't really hold any high hopes of making it past the year.
